That depends. If you do not mind, please fill in the small questionaire below, so that we have a good initial overview of this project:
1. Where will this station be built?
2. What materials do you want it to be constructed of?
3. Do you supply those materials, or do you buy them?
4. What kind of weapons and armor do you want it to have?
5. Do you supply weapons and armor, or do you buy them?
6. Do you bring in a workforce, or do you wish to employ our workers?
7. What shape / design should this station have?
8. Besides housing military vessels, what else should it be capable of?
Of course, we can supply almost anything you could possibly need, but answers to the following questions will certainly appreciated. Also, in a rough sketch, we think we are able to complete the project within eight years, five if the station is near a habitable planet.

2. The safest and hardest hardware available today
3. We can supply titanium metals, the rest we buy.
4. Thick well built armour, and top weapons capable of defending the station untill support arrives..
5. We make our own weapons, but are lacking in technology for titanium superior armour

Thank you, we seem to have little knowledge of space weapons that are fully effective for defence purposes of course, We would pay good amounts to have weapons made and even hire scientist's to run our research programs..
We will send the info on the defenders, as when the station is ready we will need a good team of ships there in case of attack !!

Design
We have been drawing up some sketches, and have run some simulations. After some time, we concluded that this model:

might be the best design to suit what you are looking for. However, we could of course be wrong. We have transmitted the data on required materials and funding, because we can imagine you might want to keep that confidential.
Weapons and armor
As for weaponry, we think we can manage the following:
- A ring of 14 Heavy Kinetic Guns, mounted on the outer ring of the station
- A second ring of 26 Tier7 Guana Energy Turrets, also mounted on the outer ring of the station
- An array of 48 Light Ion Turrets, mounted on the globe shaped section
Heavy Kinetic guns are used primarily against capital ships, while Ion turrets are designed to counter strike craft attacks. Tier7 turrets are average energy weapons, suited to engage almost anything.
Armor will most likely be constructed of thick ferro fibrous armor layers and titanium alloys, combined with plastanium windows. This will give the station the ability to take quite a punch, but it does not come cheap.
Construction
As for construction, we need to secure a transporting route from our own assets to the construction site. That route needs to be secured by patrols, and we suggest your forces fulfill that task. We will deploy a mining expedition of three Mobile Refineries and fifteen Resource Collectors to gather and transport the needed resources.
As for labor, we will be employing an approximate workforce of 2900 direct labor workers, and another 5600 indirect labor workers.
