Charles Alexander stepped up onto the podium, he looked out over an audience abducted from the street and sat down in the theatre. Henchman lurked in the shadows ready to remove the slightest troublemaker. He sipped out of his water glass and cleared his throat.
"People of Malidor, we are whole again! The Communists and the Weak Democratic Institutions of the past have been swept away by the Malidori Alexandrian Nationalist Party and the economy is under the control of skilled and better economists. The clergy no longer lies to the people and it promotes the true message of god. Not to save the weak but to help the strong in their goals and crusades!
Speaking of Crusades, our next task is clear. We must build weapons of war, powerful weapons that will ensure that our glorious wholeness and union be unbroken. I have inaugarated the start of a glorious program into nuclear research. It shall provide electricity to warm and comfort our families. It shall provide a weapon of tremondous power to ensure our respect abroad. Our challenges will be many and high but we shall overcome. I sent a worldwide announcement only 10 minutes ago calling the international community to help us in our new challenge! Peace and prosperity for everyone! Malidor forever!"
The neon lighting showed the words Applaud Now to the audience and they wer obeying and were clapping frantically. The henchmen held back their truncheons...

I would like to request nuclear-capable nations to not sell nuclear weapons research. I feel that only nations who have not collapsed under war and have reached a level of cooperation necessary to develop these weapons should be allowed to have them. These nations would have already had the qualities necessary to use them properly. If a nation were to immediately receive these weapons from another nation, they would not have passed this test. They would be far more likely to irresponsibly use these weapons. It could lead to the loss of many, many, many lives.

"Got another one," Berrel noted.
"Yup," the balding guy with a can of U-Cola replied, bored out of his tiny mind and not below showing it.
Pause.
Berrel added, "Given it the according response. Man; how many rogue states are on this list, now, dyou think?"
"Fair few," the balding guy responded.
Somewhere deep inside, Berrel screamed. This was the most boring conversation he had ever engaged in; he hoped that the balding guy - heck, he didn't even know his name, due to a lack of effort required to turn and look at the namebadge he wore (blink - namebadge? Ah. Micha Mentri Aquinall) - wouldn't last long.
He would die of boredom. This was surely the plan. His wife had hired this man to kill him - slowly, via boredom.
Berrel sighed. The balding guy - Micha - didn't even notice.
I'm dead, Berrel muttered in the confines of his mind (for the thirteenth time in an hour).
Eventually, though, Berrel realised that it was folly to believe his wife would hire a man to kill him through boredom.
She was probably well aware she could manage that all by herself.
