09-10-2003, 18:51
>>> BBC NEWS 24

At 2.20 PM this afternoon, a large crowd of demonstrators formed of communists, left wing activists and democracy supporters took to the streets to protest against the Charles Alexander administrations latest economic policies and increased control over the media and the remaining parliamentary systems. The mobs were led by Communist Party leader Alexander David and Malidori Democratic Party leader Helen Fall.
At 2.30 PM this afternoon, the Malidori Elite Guard sent in tanks and troops to quell the rising. The Elite Guard opened fire on the protestors and 12,000 were killed. Alexander David and Helen Fall were later arrested and detained within the HQ of the Malidori Internal and Political Security Organisation.
In other news, Charles Alexander announced a massive increase in the defence budget.... <<<

Our methods are unsubtle for a reason. The enemies of the state must be exterminated. Their can be no compromise between the policeman and the criminal, the strong and the weak. They chose their paths and we put an end to their miserable existances.

As We stated, We do support the actions taken. We approve of your tactics and your zeal, although We do feel it slightly disadvantageous to be so overt.

Amyst has taken somewhat similar action, although on smaller scales - We do not tend to eradicate citizens en masse. We feel that it lacks a certain ... finesse.

In all, We simply desired to indicate support for Malidori action.

Transmitting openly …

The Council of Amyst expresses its concern at the number of nations inclined to take it upon themselves to run a sovereign nation in a way with which it does not agree. Furthermore, expending resources on a military threat against a sovereign nation would channel resources away from the belligerent country itself – quite possibly damaging its own economy. How is the indirect murder by a nation of its own citizens, as well as the murder of innocents within the attacked country, any better than the legal elimination of threats within said attacked country through its own tactics?

We, the members of the Council of Amyst, do request that such attempts to illegally induce political change in a sovereign nation be halted at once.

"We interrupt this program to bring to you a statement from the Esamopian Premier:

"Esamopia fully supports the right for the government of Alexander to conduct the actions it has taken, even if we do not necessarily agree with large massacres, and calls on nations not to interfere with the internal policies of other nations unless they have a legitimate casus belli.

We hope that any declarations of war/ other hostilities can be settled by diplomacy, we are willing to help on that front."

"That is all, back to your programming."

Charles Alexander stepped up onto his podium, the flag of Malidor was staged behind him. He looked out before him, no audience, only cameras, the many eyes of the world.

"On in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1."

"My fellow Malidori, International Nations and my many enemies who watch me with scorn. We are in trouble. The evil and small minded socialists of the world have taken it upon themselves to plot and destroy what we today and yesterday have created and what we shall create in the future. These governments are corrupt, mis-managed trollops that interfere in the affairs of other nations in order to disguise from the people the truth, that they are weak and that they have corrupted what was strong. My purges of this nation have been just, I have swept clean the lice of socialism, I defragged the drives of the economy and removed the fragmentation of capitalism, I have taken out the trash of the corruption in the church.
And what do we have? A growing economy that is now free of both huge and evil foriegn corperations, a government with less bureaucracy and a people who are free to live their lives in peace so long as they do not interfere with the state, we have a Christian Church that preaches the true faith and teachings of the Lord God.
And it is to this thankful Lord God that we pray now, for the vultures of doom knock at our very doors hoping to slaughter our UNIQUE and VALUED systems and ways of life and replace them with flawed and corrupt puppets. I tell you that they shall suffer their fates before they do so to us. They will not set their gangrene feet through our door! Your door! My door! I call upon the international community and the Malidorian people to defend our soveriegn realm! Unite!

The cameras turned off, the passion of Alexander quickly subsided as he capitulated onto a chair with wearyness...

A speech by Charles Alexander.

Alvarezistan is shocked and alarmed at the actions of Malidor, which amount to nothing short of political genocide. We reject the argument that nation sovreignty is an excuse to run roughshod over the rights of individuals endowed by virtue of their humanity with certain fundamental, inviolable rights. If Malidor continues on its present course, we will be forced to take punitive action.

OOC: In Alexander's speech, he lambasted both the capitalists and the communists. So what is he, exactly? Oh.. and does your nation have a Communist party or movement of significant size?

However, the KoRT does NOT support the means be killing thousands in a swift blow, or at all. The methods used against political activists are obscene and the KoRT does not support Malidor." - Vladimir Borislav, Chairman of the KoRT Sovjet

Karlen von Shehënburg stood up in his chair. The President of Marxist International was disturbed. "The Malidori <<OOC: Sorry if I got the adjective wrong>> are at it again. I've spoken to the Imperätor. Edolia isn't going to do anything about it." Argus von Antonia grinned.
"Looks like it's up to us to do this thing, boss."
"Yes. It is. I want some intelligence. What do we have?" Lilius von Dedelburg spoke up.
"Sir, I believe that it might be possible for us to infiltrate a small number of commandos into their populace, especially with help from some of our contacts in the Communist and Democratic parties of Malidor. Somewhere on the order of 400 men could be sent in. If we were to secure a landing zone, even for a short period of time, we might be able to get in a larger number, even some tanks and SAM batteries."
"Make it so. I want to see that happening. It would also help our cause if we were to smuggle in some weaponry. Perhaps 8,000 AKs?"
"I don't think that would compromise our operation too much sir. Especially if we were to send them in slowly and quietly."
"Good. Make it so."

---

Over the next few weeks, 400 soldiers from the International Army of Marx being infiltrating the country, using freighters and other forms of cargo transportation to move into Malidor. At the same time, AK-74s, mostly disguised as other, legitimate goods are slowly leaked into the hands of Communist and Democrat dissidents...

Karlen von Shehënburg read the report and looked up at his aide. "I want to keep well updated on this situation."

Political murder is in some cases necessary for the good of the people as a whole. Why do Humans deserve more rights than animals? They dont, we are all biological entities. Sentience is the result of accidents and not planning and so Human kind is not really naturally supposed to have rights. What is natural is that we have leadership structures within our societies and they must be adhered to.
We in Malidor prefer not the election of leaders but the suggestion of policies, citizens may place suggestions in a secret box to be sent to the government. We do however openly oppose strikes and demonstrations for they are a disruptive and chaotic influence within the nation.
What we mean by Communism is the interference in the affairs of the economy by the government. What we mean by Capitalism is the domination of the economy by only a few individuals. Both seem the same in our word for is not the government made up of a few individuals. We seek to create an economy based on small scale manufacture, individual factories on their own but many of them working at the same time. The government does not interfere in the affairs of these businesses.

We must now warn that any nation attempting to remove the lawful and righteous government of Malidor should be prepared to accept the consequences for their acts. Do not think our words are as hollow as our size is small.

Hahaha! The meaning of power is to understand why an action has been takent. You obviously do not know what you are saying. Those who threat must know WHY they say what they say otherwise they are powerless. You know not why I say what I say so you have no power. I on the other hand possess the reason, the 'why' as to why I said what I said. Be warned. To mess with the government of Malidor is to trully feel, to experience the meaning of power.
I give you the choice to back down, without humiliation and leave the lawful government to its own devices. You can do as I ask or you will trully feel Malidor uncloaked.
