Saga Of The Land Of Enlightenment

09-10-2003, 14:49
The Holy Church Of Forgotten Knowledge located within the Land Of Enlightenment rises up and declares their nationhood. They now become known as the Holy Empire Of Forgotten Knowledge. Three other nations quickly join them, following their religion dubbed, "The Way Of The Four". Throughout the land it is seen as a holy sign from a higher power that it is the way of the FOUR, and that four nations are soon in it, right after being founded. They all gather together and choose a religious, military, civil, and political leader. The leaders are as follows, along with their given rank, and a short description of their duties:

Religious: [Emporer] Kotton DePayne; The main leader of all. The center figure in the worship and leadership of the Way. A young man, only at the age of 21, in a very high position at a very precarious time. Young and brash, Kotton is somewhat too quick to jump to actions, and relies on "The Way" to change all of that.

Military: [Grand Commandant] Xiang Shao; A military boy growing up, a military man for the rest of his life. Xiang was born for the planning and excecution of battle. Age 36, Xiang is a well seasoned, well decorated officer. Always donning an official army uniform, covered on the breast with medals, Xiang is a disciplined man.

Civil: [High Chief] Preston Garret; An older respectable man, age 53. He dons an impeccably styled suit, with clean cut white hair and a freshly shaved, somewhat wrinkled face. A master of developing cities and nations, Preston has been chosen out of millions upon millions to lead development within the Land Of Enlightenment.

Political: [King] Charles DePayne; Kotton's Older brother. Also young at the tender age of 25, but older and a bit more wiser than his younger sibling. Charles is a natural business people person, so it seemed obvious for him to be the main diplomat to deal with other nations. THe well mannered, somewhat plump man, serves as a buffer between Kotton and the rest of the world.
