Kecha Requests Peace Talks With Neo-Wu!
Some time ago, the Holy Empire of Kecha entered into a war with what is now the Empire of Neo-Wu, after a period of brutal, punishing battle, Neo-Wu backed off, and proposed that a Cease-Fire be observed by both sides of the conflict, we agreed to this proposal at the time, but now we grow sick of it, the war is not needed! and the Empress demands that Delegates from the 2 nations convene a session of Peace Talks.

Ambassador Jade Purrlinda listens to the intercepted communication from Kecha to Neo-Wu, and winces at some of the language the Kechaians (ooc:- right term?) used in their request for peace talks.
She turns to the nearby comunications technician "Open a communication channel to the Holy Empire of Kecha please." The technician nods and starts typing at the keyboard in front of him.
"Greeting's to the Holy Empire of Kecha, we happen to intercept your transmission to the Empire of Neo-Wu. May I make a suggestion to help you along this process?.......Try using the term requests instead of demand, as it is not so agressive and doesn't make it sound like an order. We have found other nations tend to get...riled when they think they are being ordered to do something against their will by another nation. I suggest you try again and appologise for the first transmission if you do wish to succeed in obtaining a peace treaty."

You're right, very well, let it be known by the leaders of Neo-Wu that we REQUEST peace-talks for the purpose of achieving...well...peace., we also apoligize if we offended anyone.

Neo-Wu: Excelent! I was afraid the simple fact that we reisted so hard during the war might cause some bad blood between Neo-Wuians and Kechans in general, I see now this does not seem to be the case.
