Thomas Belmore:Yes, I'm on pole, I had the car underneath me and I was just realing in it's glory, this is a great start to my season.
The time I got was fantastic, I feel really confident ahead of the next race and I belive that if I can just drive as smoothy as I did today, I think I can win this.

Alan Belmore:I am really pleased about my result, I am annoyed how I locked up slightly going into turn 3, but I really think I can clinch this on Sunday. I really do hope so at least.

Neither driver mentioned each other speculating rumors about dislikes in the team.

Progressa Racing's drivers were selected in qualifying-style format, dubbed 'Speed Academy' by the many Progressan TV critics who came from the UK because they hated the TV there. They recorded the fastest testing time of the lot. But the drivers didn't quite deliver when it mattered, though several other teams would not object to fifth and seventh on the grid.

Arunah Erink, who finished fifth on the grid, said 'On a course like this, with plenty of overtaking spots, in a 500km race, grid position is barely relevant. What is relevant is form on the raceday, and hopefully that's what I'll have. We can only wait.'
