Heading out!

Epirus I has just completed its' first wave interplanetary crafts with destinations to Moon, Mars, and Io. Long range sensors have found minerals and substances of interest to the Nation of Phyrric. Is it possible to grow things on other planets in an atmoshere rich in gases other than O2? We shall find out.

Two thousand "shake and bake" colonists have boarded these transports and cargo ships and will be dropped off in the said order to establish colonies and outposts for profit, communications, and other unnamed operations.

"We shall see what the future holds for us" states Pyrrhus in an interview "there is no real need to take over fellow nations to get what we want, there is plenty out there to go around."

"As the fledgling space program lifts off and takes hold, there are reports of success piling on this new reporters desk, far to many to keep up with."

From the desk of the Ministry on Colonization

"Yesterday, the first shake and bake colony has been established on the moon as a T-120 Tug dropped its pods onto the Moon while enroute to Mars.

The colony formed quickly and set up the outpost, establishing links back to the motherland. 100 colonists are currently establishing residency and calling the Moon 'home'.

Explorations, research and mining to start by the weekend.

It is yet to be seen if the shake and bake colonists can maintain the colony to expectations."
