Deep in a lab in a secret location in the heart of the Federated Milesian Republic, a small team of scientists were finishing up their work on one of the most secret projects in Milesian history, the creation of a neural net.
A young female scientist walked over to Dr. Sequeira, “Sir, we’re ready to power her up. Advanced tests have shown power is in place, and we believe now is as good a time as any.” Dr Sequeira shifted in his seat slightly, “Very well, begin the activation sequence” All over the lab, the scientists and engineers went quiet as the central console started to light up as power began flooding in.
A load mechanical voice boomed at first, running through coding but quickly the voice changed to that of a young woman. “Full start up in 4…3…2…1” The gathered workers looked on as a face appeared on the main screen. She was beautiful.

Dr. Sequeira walked back to his desk, thinking that this was going ahead of plan, not a problem in his mind.

A cheer erupted from the gathered crowd. There several years of work had paid off, their major work was a success beyond their wildest dreams. Not only had she powered up and assimilated her identity, and was learning while they were standing there, but she had also established links with the Neural Nanite Transceivers within PDF personnel, but also with Fleet, satellites and the other computers assigned to her, quantum, DNA, protein and chaos computers. All had intergrated almost immediately and with no problems.
