Nation States Song Contest
The Nation States Song Contest is a competition for all the nations who are budding lyricists.
Da Rules:
Each participating nation would email the lyrics of a QUALIFICATION (Q) song to n_s_s_c@hotmail.com, where the best songs would be singled out for a qualification round. The qualifying Q songs would be posted on these forums where other nations would vote for their favourites to go to the final (please see voting rules). The top 20 songs would qualify.
Each qualifying nation would then submit a FINAL (F) song to n_s_s_c@hotmail.com. These songs would be posted on these forums where nations would vote for their favourites. The top three would automatically qualify for the next NSSC final.
Each song, Q and F would have to be written by the nation, not released on an album or single, or written by a different nation.
No song should be longer than 1 A4 side of paper at size 10.
No song should contain swearwords.
Songs that do not comply with these rules would be considered void.
Da Voting Rules:
Voting would take place on the topic containing the lyrics. Each nation should vote for their favourite 3 songs.
Nations cannot vote for themselves – if they do they will be disqualified – this includes puppet nations.
‘Vote Swapping’ is illegal. All nations that do this will be disqualified/votes will be considered void.
Don’t vote for your friends just because they are your friends – vote for your favourite lyrics.

Do they have to be in English, or can they be in an IC language?
English is the preffered language, however any language would be accepted.

Since this is email and a lot of other scams have happened on NS with email, I'd suggest creating a throwaway account somewhere and do this contest from it. Not saying NSSC would do this, but I just don't want anyone to get burned.
In that case nations who do not want to email the lyrics could telegram me them, my only concern is if I get too many before I can check them...

I have decided I will compete, the Draztonian Viking Metal band "Othar's Sons" is writing a Qualification Song as we speak.
Both the competing mods have already sent their Q songs! Mod war! No guaruntee they'll win.
well Jezland classic Rock band 'Red' are writing a love rock ballad for our entry

The Kaze Progressan qualifier entry has been confirmed. Co-written by Monaa lyricist Davae Hawl and ballad queen Karquie Saurmaik (OOC: I actually wrote it myself, just setting the scene :D), 'Let's Make It For Ourselves' is seen as a solid choice.
After a narrow vote the Jezland public have chosen a song by Red called 'Kiss Me' over 'You're What Matters' also written by Red.

Kaosu no Tenshi= fictional group I created to participate in the Jukebox charts, with all but two of their songs being completely original. Arpean= from Reploid Productions (Initials of RP, pronounced "Ar-Pee", hence "Arpean" ^_~)

Probably needed a poem or song he/she could pass of as his for class. Tells everybody he/she/it is holding a contest for good lyrics. People e-mail him/her/it/god their lyrics to compete. He/she/it/god/horse steals lyrics and passes them of as his/her/its/god's/horse's/thing's own in class.
