Perhaps...although that would depend on if his ancenstors lived in Steel Butterfly when it was on Earth many years ago...or if they visited Steel Butterfly's capital on Earth the day the Nuclear Bomb exploded, starting the mutant's transformation. You see...for precaution...the mutants were all moved to one planet. The new and ...ahem... unstable atmosphere, mixed with the bomb's lingering radiation, caused their DNA to mutate.
