Hi.

I'm offering to do maps for any region/nation that is interested.

The examples below are done with Terragen (http://www.planetside.co.uk/terragen) and Photoshop. If anyone wants to help, then TM me and let me know.

Please note that I have gotten a lot of requests already from people who have seen the Lancre maps, so I won't be able to do every single one that gets sent to me. Sorry.

Arial view. You set the target and source viewpoints to the same place (it orientates the camera automatically to north) and you set the origin to something like 1000 metres, and the target to 0 metres, et voila, an arial view. ;)

I think that part of the reason that it is not stickied is because unlike Loop you do not offer other people offices.

If you'd lke I can set up offices on the Zhaucauozian Friendship forum.

Here I'll do it anywhen and you can use it if you feel like it.

Only catch: I intend t put an office for myself in there too (although I can only use Photoshop and Paint right now, so I am no match for you :P ).

There are words covering parts of it.
There are latitude and longitude lines on parts of it.
The water isn't all the same color.
Parts of it are very 'fuzzy' because I had to increase the size of some of the land to come close enough to the same scale to put on the map.

Imagehost appears to charge... I swear that was who Spoffin used, but I'm not sure...

Ask him, heh. But anyway, they only allow you to host a few ones, whereas Tripod would allow you to do a lot more.

My entry for the Lancre Compeition took me about an hour, this will be a bit more specific, but also a bit less broad, but if you want significantly detailed mountains it will have to carry over into tommorrow. If you just want shading or ^s for mountains then it il have almostno effect on the overall time. Personally I would recommend the shading.

OOC: Okay, here the information I promised.

I want my map to of a large continent and a chain of small islands. I want the largest of the islands to be exactly like Trinidad and Tobago (and named the same), except larger. I want it to be closest to the coast like south and central america. I also want St. Vincent and the Grenadines as well as Barbados in their relative positions (all named as in RL). Several smaller islands should also be in the chain of islands, which I would like named "Drako Antilles".

For the continent I want a large portion to be made of my nation. I also want slots for other nations (slightly smaller than mine). The western most part of my nation (the "Dominion of Drakonian Imperium"), to be mountainous, this region will be named Shinzo Golanus and the mountains should be called the Golan Mountains. Next to it will be the plains state of Cherokee, with a state capital of the same name.

To the north will be the state of Oregius with a state capital of Salem and the major cities of Portland (with obvious ocean access) and Bend. Small towns and cities of Eugene/Springfeild (being right next to each other), Medford, and Grant's Pass (which I figure should border the Northeastern region of Shinzo Golanus). The rest of that state should short of (not much really) resemble the real world US state of Oregon.

Moving out to the sea and to east will be the state of Drako. In it will be the national capital of "Drako Throne", which should be along a large river close to the ocean. Also at the end of that river will be the large city of Alexandria. Elsewhere around the state I would like the major cities of Caesarea and Sparta. Minor cities around the state should be: Augustus, Julius, Centaurus.

The Drakonian States of Trinidad and Tobago, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Barbados, should resemble their real world counterparts. I would also like two islands named Baradossia and New Baradossia. Baradossia will be controlled by my nation while New Baradossia will be an indepentent nation. I also would like a extemely small nation to border the Imperium on the continent somewhere with the name: Aivon-Rose. It's capital should be called Aves.

If it's not to much trouble I would like my nation to border Tersanctus', if that alright with him. Anyway, I want this map to be of the United Emirates region with a lot of information on myself. I hope I haven't overwhelmed you with this information. More than like I will want a little tweaking of the final product, maybe adding more information as I work out final details on my nation. I do, very much thank you, all for this service. It is very much appreciated. And again, thank you.

Set the camera and target to the same position (left and right click the same spot on the terrain view with the camera icon selected) and set the camera height to something large (1000m plus) and the target height to 0. Increase the camera height as nessecary to get a height on an arial view...

I need a map of Spain and Portugal, label it The Dominion of Synchronized, it should have all major cities labeled, the map should have sectors labeled.

Sector 2- (contains all of southern Spain)
Sector 3- (contains all of northern Spain)

Sector 5- (contains all of western Spain)

Could you make a map for the Sovjet Socialist Republics Region? It just really needs to be a land mass with coasts running alone the West and South, with a series of broken up islands in the Southwest. Also, a series of lakes in the mainland and a large bay area along the western coast. You need not worry about any political features, I can handle that part myself, I just need the physical map. Thanks!:)
