All oil exports are hereby halted in view of the war with Ell. Oil wells, pipelines, and processing stations have all been destroyed in the war. Full production will return after the war has been won.

Signed,

Oil Minister

Al Anbar Analysts

Oil analysts believe that this will cause severe shortages in many countries that depend on Al Anbar oil and will cause world prices to skyrocket.

While anylists don't tend to believe Al Anbarian hysteria about rising oil prices, the possibility is being well exploited in the Incorporated States of Andaman and Nicobar. Special interest groups pushing for greater commitment of forces against the Dunyabian revolutionaries in that oil-rich state are being heard, as production in the west Nicobarese fields is stepped up in an effort to corner former Al Anbarian export markets.

ISAN oil prices are holding at $20.55 per barrel.

President Brown wishes all parties involved a long and profitable war
