"Well then..." Kaz just stood there, still, wondering, "Well then what are we going to do? Something needs to be done or found out..."

“Too be honest… I need some time to organise my thoughts, and it will take the Hippogriff a little time to prepare for another long haul flight back to the carrier. I’m not going to stay for long; after all, I’ve got obligations. But before I can help I’m going to have to pull my self together.” James looked out towards the pond… a few images could be seen reflecting on the surface but James didn’t really care about it right now. Currently he would prefer to come to his own conclusions about himself.

“I’m going to tell my men to prepare for departure, meanwhile I’m going to find a secluded spot to mediate outside. Let us meet some other time, maybe at my place. Here’s my secure line number as well as the number of by second in command, who will take my place for the time being, if you want to negotiate or anything feel free to contact my people, we’ve already added you to our file so their isn’t really much of an issue of identity.” With that James stayed a moment to listen to the remains of the conversation, then left in search for Decker. His mind was once again closed to all observers as he walked off into the distance to make peace with himself.

OOC:I don’t remember saying I was never going to see Amanda again and I don’t intend on allowing James to die (but it could happen if someone makes a point of doing it)

James gets up and heads towards the mansion to pick up the last of his men, he had to head out to Rave’s place to see what the problem was. A breeze picked up and the hairs on his back rose to meet the chill that met his neck.

Slowly, James made his way into the mansion, making sure he had everything he needed. The warmth of the host room could be felt, even from down the hall. James felt himself pulled in by the warmth of the room as a nice contrast from the chill of the outdoors, James went in to see Amanda for the last time before he was to leave for Rave’s nation…

OOC: Firstly that is a description, your character cannot react to this at all, seeing as they don't know...

And more importantly "before" now, this is the crucial part of the sentance. You see, this implies that James will not see her again before he goes to Rave's nation, seeing as he is going straight away, it is safe to assume that he is going to be done at some time in the future. Note that I added "ever again". In other words, after seeing Rave and helping her out, I may see you again... assuming I don't:

a. Die of old age in Rave's mansion.

b. Don't get killed in Rave's mansion, this is more likely then the above, however if James were to die, something is getting turned into a mighty hole.

c. Kidnapped by space tech nation... not likely, but this is free form roleplay.

d. Your character doesn't disapear becuase of a mis-understanding of OOC knowledge.

OOC: But you forgot some of my characters unique qualities. She heard it and therefore thought it. I just wanted to make things interesting. Pouts...I guess it didn't go the way I planned. From here we go to James leaving and Kaz and Lady Amanda leaving on their travel to Drognan. Which can just continue here or you can start a whole new one and when of if James makes it back we can continue it here or elsewhere. What do you all think.

OOC It dont matter to me going to drognan can be done here or on a thread to attract more people when I do what im planning, if it comes to that... So it matters not to me at the moment.

OOC: I see two possiblities of your character being able to determine whether she will see James again:

1. You read minds - I've gone through this with Rave and it is not happening, if a angle-vampire-uber character can't read him, no one can.

2. You see into the future - Seeing as I haven't decided James future, assumptions to this end cannot be made. The future is cloudy and I don't care how greater seer someone is, they can only see the many different fates ahead of them, not one ulimate one. There are so many variables, future sight is uncertain and pretty pap... or at least it is when dealing with me.

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind RPing powers, but I need to know what you are trying to find out so I can tell you what I think you will find, becuase only I can determine James's fate.

Assuming I haven't burnt all my bridging doing this... I will create a new thread about going to Iuthia sometime... but I'm going to have to let my other RP's finish first.

OOC: I am not like Rave. I am not a vampire. I am much more. I am one with the earth, the wind, and what surrounds it. What I am saying not all the time can she read minds. But sometimes things can be grabbed and taken to her. Just like if someone needs help, just like her heart is always drawn to the light as the light is drawn to her. No, she did not see the future in this one. She could have, the pond you know has the powers to do so. But really would she have wanted to do such a thing, no. Would someone want to see there beloved pet die, or a significant other leave? Therefore, she would not want to have to say goodbye to a friend, a friend she hasn't had before. She did not develop relationships like this and so far she knows Kaz is not going anywhere, but she knows James is leaving. It affected her. I agree with you angels cannot read minds, but my character is much more. I guess a melting pot, but the light is a definent compostion of her. Does that help any?

OOC: Kind of. Generally, I can see how it was worked into the plot. I just wanted to point out that I never actually (OOC or IC) said I was leaving forever, only that I won’t see you again until after a ton of plot with Rave… because she hit me with the plot stick.

Actually, I didn’t complain that Angels couldn’t read minds, because I don’t have a clue about what they can and can’t do. I just pointed out that reading minds doesn’t work on my character… and seeing into the future is something that I don’t pay much heed to, because I don’t believe in the same sort of fate that others do, I like chaos theory and things like that.

Meh… I shouldn’t get my knickers in a twist… but I guess none of use can be perfect.

Start a new one so we can get others involved. This one is so long only the ones that knew it come. If we have a new one maybe more will come. We can always come back here.
