Max ignores Jack's comment and signals his people to load up. "Let's go, people," he yells to everyone. "Jai, Callisto, Fitz, Jack, Hammer, and Me, Vehicle two. Everyone else, Vehicle One. Move out!" He give a dramatic wave of his hand, gesturing for everyone to load.

As they load up, Hammer glances to Max. "You drive, I'll keep an eye on the passenger," Max states quietly.

O.o.c. All I caught since page ten was missles fire at my destroyer. Could someone fill me in?

OOC: We're going to the Celackian Embassy, since the port's a warzone. We will be travelling via two black SUVs with Jai and everyone in the second one and the bulk of the Praetorians in the first one. We're travelling by SUV, because Roania and Trasa are using SAMs to shoot down anything that flies.

Rykov starts to get suspicious


Rykov:they arn't comming THIS way, SARGENT!

Sargent:Yes sir?

rykov:post security checkpoints along the way to ANY embassy in this city,

Sargent:how many men on each road block sir?

Rykov: i want 30 Troopers and 2 AT-PT's on each one

Sargent:i have signaled 5 groups to do as you ordered sir

"We're moving out to the celackian embassy right?"

Fitz rattled of an address,(Jai should realize that it's the adress of a Mcdonalds) He then gets into the second SUV.

Sargent:sir all roads are blocked, and we have disgused them as Resi Troopers

Rykov:excellent, inform them to only speak in the resi Launguage.

The two Black SUVs pulled out of the parking garage and began their trek to the address Fitz had specified. They sped down the roads, slipping down alleyways to avoid military checkpoints, roadblocks, and the like. The city was crawling with Resi Soldiers, Trasians, and Roanians.

As turned out of one alley, something went wrong. The lead SUV started to turn onto the street when a missile streak from a roomtop and slammed the hood of the vehicle. The entire front end and right side was torn apart. A form jumped from the driver side door and another one dropped from the door behind it as the rest of the vehicle was ripped apart by another explosion.

The second SUV slammed hard into the wrecked hulk of the lead vehicle as another Missile streaked down and torn into the back of the crippled vehicle. Another explosion rocked the two black vehicles as the front end of the second SUV was destroyed beyond repair.

"Get out," Max yelled as Hammer jumped out of the driver's door and raise his automatic rifle to cover the retreat of those inside the burning vehicles. Fire spat from the end of his gun as bullet stream toward the rooftops.

The survivors of the lead vehicle, Cleric and Snake pick themselves off the ground and help Max get the second vehicle unload and everyone to safety as silence suddenly settled on the empty night streets. The only sound was the flames that now licked both shattered SUVs.

Rykov get's off the radio looking pale

Sargent:what is it sir?

rykov:science outpost 12 is under seige by the Alien specimens and their are some uninvited guests TRYING to help, the high command is worried that they will find out what we are doing there, i have recived a offer that this incident will go free by the High command if i agree to have a transphere there


Sargent:What about us? are we going too?

Rykov:yes, my friend, we shall al go, call back the Troops and ready the shuttles for spaceflight, this will take all of our AT-PT's to get rid of those troublesome marines in the Pods.

so the sargent calls back the Troopers and they get ready to ship out

OOC: I don't get it, did both cars crash?

"Dammit that stings..." Jack shouts quietly as he hauls himself out of the buring SUV. His left arm is bent at on odd angle, and his clothes are slightly singed.

"you okay?" fitz asked to Jack as he cocked his assualt riofle and jumped out fo the SUV.

Jack works his arm back into place with a series of sickening cracks, then tears a length of cloth from the inside lining of his trench coat and slings up his arm. "Just a flesh wound, as they say. I'm still 85% combat effective."

Cleric moves over to the second SUV. "Everyone alright," he asks and then his glance falls on Jack. "You want me to take a look at that?"

Max looks at the shattered burning hulk of the lead SUV. The rest of his team was in there, he thinks idly, the his mind snaps to action. "No time for that," he says to Cleric. "We've got to get to the Celackian Embassy, now!"

Snake and Hammer scan the rooftops with their guns. "We've got to get out of here," Hammer yells to those still struggling out of the second SUV.

Snake, a Praetorian Guard who was the Sniper and Scout for the Mad Max's team, glanced far down the street to where a military checkpoint would have been. It was gone. "Checkpoints are gone," he called to Max.

Rykov oversees his Troopers preping to leave

Rykov:has all our Dead Troopers bodies and weapons been accounted for?

Trooper Hysag:yes sir, here shall be NO trace that Trasa was involved

Rykov:then load the Dead and wounded first then the healthy and let's bug out, do not leave the Anti-Aircraft turrets or the AT-PT's

Rykov:leave him and his companions be, i must help our comrades and i'll need everyone to assist

Jack whips one of his .45's out with his right hand. "Don't worry about me, let's get moving." He waits for the others to be accounted for.

A TSD partol walks closeby but they are not noticed beacuse they are bugging out adn preparing for the New Mission

with those words the 2 continue on with the rest of the patrol

Cleric makes sure no one inside the vehicle is seriously injured. He makes note to make sure the already wounded Callisto, wasn't hurt more seriously in the crash.

Jack glances around a bit. "We gonna walk to the embassy, or do I need to jack us another ride?"

"What woukd happen if a two foot rabbit carjacked someone? Let's find out"

And with that fitz ran at a car and openned the door.

"It's your funeral." Jack says with a shrug. He watches the reaction of the person in the car.

Fitz waved his assualt rilfe at the driver of the car
"GET OUT OF THE CAR!!!"

IC: Fitz is greeted with an angry snarl, and a sharp kick to the face. "Leave me alone, preybeast! This is my mechanical beast!" A cloaked and hooded figure sits in the drivers' seat, clawed hands gripping the steering wheel. A SMG sits in the seat beside him, as does an R93 sniper rifle.

I.C. Fitz realized he didn;t have the element of suprise in that car so he ran to another and oppened the door ETC.

IC: The figure gets out of the car, stuffing the SMG into his cloak and slinging the rifle across his back. "The prey beast thinks that he will get a car that way." He shakes his head.

Fitz sees the lizard get out of the car and shoot at him.

"Help!!!!"

The figure flattens himself against the SUV he was driving. He aims a pistol at Fitz with his tail. "Cease shooting at me, or I will eat you." He shouts.

"Were you going to anyways?I mean your a six foot lizard. I'm a two foot rabbit. i thought you were...."

"Hey, I know him!" Jack shouts excitedly.

"But I do not know you. You resemble Dekker, yet you are not Dekker. Do you have a name? If not, then I shall call you 'Not-Dekker'." The Dark Argonian, named Whiptail, says, somewhat confused.

Only 10% and that's recently. My nationasl animal, the psycho rabbit, was found to have thumbs and a high brain capacity. Some scientist tinkered with ten families and created sentietn rabbits with an average I.Q. of 100. they were created for Spec-iop purposes but they spread to being in all manners of life....

Jack wasn't amused. "I'm Jack, Dekker ain't here. You're Whiptail, right? Dekker's told me a lot about you, how you hunt vampires and stuff."

*Callisto can't help but smirk at all the confusion. She rests a delicate feeling hand on Max's shoulder*

"Let's roll." Jack says as he begins to move.

OOC: Jack is one of Sam's sons, the younger of his twins. Sam is now in NY, he was dropped off by one of your choppers.

IC: Jack notices Callisto for the first time. Being the compulsive womanizer that he is, he adopts a suave posture and bows curtly. "Jackson A. Bray at your service, Miss....?"

Max interupts Jack's advances motioning toward the Large Reptiles SUV. "Might we be able to use your vehicle," he askes, motioning everyone in that direction, his arm swinging up cutting off Jack's view of Callisto.

The other Praetorians continue to scan the rooftops and surrounding area with their weapons alert for another attack.

Jack climbs into the vehicle. "Nice choice." He says, looking at the leather interior.

"I thank you, Not-Dekker. I was prepared to offer the owner a small sum for it, but she ran off before I could make my proposition. There is room in the trunk, as well as a fully stocked gun rack, mainly bolt-action rifles and a pump-action shotgun." Whiptail climbs into the drivers' seat. "I would suggest that you all fasten the restraints, as I have not driven a motor vehicle in a little over a century." He states, matter-of-factually.

Max looks at the vehicle and then at the assembly. "I think, we can fit..." Max does a quick count of everyone. "A Seven-Year-Old, 4 Praetorians, a Discordian Priest, a Mercenary, a giant rabbit, and a..." He looks at Whiptail. "whatever you are, in there. Well, maybe not...what do you guys think?" Max glances at the SUV, it was big, but was it big enough.

The thought occured to Max of how much a motley group they were. They would have looked quite a humorous bunch in many countries, but not on the Resi Corporate Islands. On this territory controlled by the Resi Corporation, they probably looked quite normal. Max smiled at the thought, they would look quite the humorous group in the Imperium, of that, there was no doubt.

Jack grumbles and climbs into the front passenger seat.

"I'll ride shotgun"

He grabs one.

Praetorian Guard continue to cover the area as they escort the others (Jai and Callisto) into the vehicle. Max motions toward the Driver's Side Door. "It's all yours," he says to Whiptail as he gets in. The Other Praetorians then cram themselves unconfortably into the SUV, still keeping their weapons ready.

"Let's roll."
Fitz gives a different adress than the one he gave the Preatorians.

Max takes note of the differences in the address Fitz had given out. He made note to check the other address when this all was over.

Around Max, the other Praetorian still keep their weapons ready, all still tense from the other attack. "Yeah, let's hurry too," Hammer adds. "We don't want anyone sending another missile at us."

Fitz swivles around and looks at the preatorians.

"You do know I gave you the adress to a mcdonalds? i was hungry."

Fitz swivled back around.

Max looks back at the Rabbit. "McDonald, huh," he jokes smiling, as they start moving. "Could someone confirm the location of the Celackian Embassy for me?" He looks to Jai.

The other Praetorians were not as assumed as Max and they showed it, but Max too was not very amused, he suspected Fitz's statement to be only partially true.

Whiptail sets a Colt M1911A1 on his lap. A pair of katanas made from some sort of black metal sit in the pedal well, near the door. "I will begin to drive, but I do not know our destination, so the Preybeast will have to guide me." Whiptail starts the SUV up, and presses the pedal a bit too hard, due to his large reptillian feet.

As the SUV shot suicidally around the corner the Praetorian exchanged worried glances. There was driving, and then there was driving, and this was definitely the latter. Several worried if the would again be involved in a collision.

"I apologize." Whiptail says as he narrowly steers the vehicle around another car. "You resemble a rabbit, something that is eaten in my homeland. Just as I refer to Not-Dekker as Not-Dekker, since he looks like Dekker, but is not, you look like a Preybeast, yet are not. I do not like my food to talk back to me." He shifts gears with his long and dexterous tail, never moving a clawed hand from the steering wheel.

OOC: Ah....Resi hasn't posted since page 12... :roll: Ah this might be a very bad idea. After all you have a) attempted to rob his citizens
b) Are driving like manicas down his streets...and I know one of his pet pevees is trying to RP his characters.... :?

OOC: AAC! I thought you were in self-imposed exile from this thread! Resi doesn't seem to be around lately, so we've stopped RPing, assuming that the embassy is far away.

On his recent lack of presence Yeah, well both the NS and RL seem to have dropped on him...just watch what you do. (No more car jackings and don't take any hostages or something...based on the first thread most civies are actually at work and not on the street.

Max barel had time to say, "That's alright," before he himself was thrown toward her by the widely careening vehicle. "Sorry," he appologized desperately trying to stay in his seat.

Whiptail looks over his shoulder, seemingly oblivious to the traffic.

"There will be time for mating when we have reached the embassy."

His tail opens the glove box, and tosses the owners' manuel to Fitz.

"Here, Not-Preybeast. Locate the stopping mechanisum. I believe that we will need it soon."

Whiptail's golden gaze returns to the road, and he narrowly misses the blazing remains of a wrecked Trasian AT-PT.

"I don't need this manual. it's the the pedal on the left"

"It's called the brake, Dumbass. It's the big pedal next to the gas pedal. Sheesh."

His face lights up, as if remebering something,

"Oh yeah, and for the record, our marriage customs are a helluva lot different from yours. There's a ceremony and a cake, it's a big to-do."

Jack rolls his eyes in disbelief.

His face lights up, as if remebering something,

Fitz disapears in a flash of green light. Then something looking like this shows up where fitz was

Whiptail glares at him.

"I am well aware of that, Not-Dekker. I attended your brother's 'wedding', as he called it, a few years ago. Our customs seem to resemble the 'Honey-Moon' more than the wedding itself."

Whiptail taps the brake pedal, and every one recieves a mild case of whiplash. Whiptail, however, seems unaffected. He continues to drive like a druken mental patient.

He looks at Fitz.

"Where is this 'embassy' of your people? I grow hungry."

Fitz decided to look down. He did and saw that his body was no longer a rabbit body but a human body with fur

A green light pulsed and Fitz disappear for a seocnd and the was replaced by a human with a rabbit on it's lap. The man looked down and saw the rabbit. A primal yell sounded throguht the Car

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

The human then fainted. The rabbit looked at everyone and then started tapping in morse code.

Jack whips out a Hardballer, leveling the octagonal bore at the rabbit.

"What the f**k just happened? Where the f**k did the little furry fella go?"

He stares in bewilderment, but ready to splatter the rabbit across the passenger-side window at a moment's notice.

"Mating rituals," was all Max could ask before he was nearly thrown through one of the side windows. He quickly decided, that all military preparedness asside, buckling his seat belt might be a good idea.

Unfortunately, when he did Whiptail tapped the brake. "Uhhh," was all he was able to let out before he was stunned into a silence brought on by a severe case of whiplash. Stars splashed across his vision and then Max's head lulled forward. When Max finally fully regained conscienceness, something seemed different, but Max was too thankful he had buckled his seatbelt and was not now splattered across the pasement after having made a trip through the windshield.
Then he realized what was different, there was a man and a rabbit in the place of Fitz. "Did I miss something where's Fitz?" He looked to Callisto. "Could Eris have done that?"

Cleric meanwhile was entirely enthralled by the process. "Now that," he said in shocked awe. "Has to be one of the most amazing things, I have ever seen." He poked the man, and then the rabbit to make sure they were real. "Most amazing," he continued to talk more to himself than anyone else.

The rest of the Praetorians were not as enthralled at the sudden change. Hammer swore and had his gun trained on the man and the rabbit, in seconds.

"Watch you language," Max shot out, glaring at Hammer. "Woman present."

"Sure lover boy," Hammer snapped back, his gun still aimed at the new passenger.

"What are these mating ritual/lover boy comments about," Max asked anyone willing to answer.

No one answered.

Snake gestured to get everyone's attention. His attention was on the rabbit. He mummbled somthing about dots and dashes. "What Happened," he finally said.

"What happened," Max asked, more confused. "What do you mean, 'what happened?'"

"Morse Code," Snake replied, gesturing to the bunny. "He said, 'what happened.'"

Max looked even more confused. He looked from one person to another. "I don't think anyone knows."

*Callisto grabbed ahodl of Max's arm so she wouldn't go flying. She, of course, didn't belive in seat belts. Blining a bit she shook her head, trying to get the dizzyness to go away*

Mating rituals? wha... *she raised a brow and smirked when Max mentioned Eris. She answered with a simple shrug. eris worked in odd ways, that not even Callisto understood at time* hmmmm....

*For now she'd stay quiet and study the chaos streams. It should give her some insight into what was going on. At the moment she was a little baffled herself*

Whiptail looks back over his shoulder.

"The sword-wielder and the 'Max', as he calls himself, seem to be attracted to each other. There will be time for that when the embassy is reached. I said nothing about mating rituals, Not-Dekker was attempting to explain my chain of thought."

*Callisto stayed quiet and pulled her hood to cover her face again. This was so embaressing*

All Max could say to Whiptail's comment was, "Oh." For a while he was simply silent, looking from Whiptail to Callisto and back again.

Then, not denying the statement, he corrected Whiptail. "I call myself Max, because it is my first name. Well actually more of a nickname or shortening of my first name. If you really must know my full name is: Maximus Clark. I also go my the call sign: Mad Max. You can call whichever you prefer."

For some reason, his statement seemed more nervous than his normal firm voice. Max, wondered why. Could it be.... He looked again at Callisto, not meaning to, but it happened anyway.

Meanwhile, Hammer still held his gun aimed at the precular pair in the passenger seat, not letting down his guard. "Would someone like to explain what happened to the Psycho Bunny," he prompted.

Cleric continued to be entralled. "I'm not sure, but I think he just split into a human and rabbit."

Everyone looked at Cleric. "What?!" A chorus of voices sang.

Cleric looked from face to face. "The hell, if I know!"

The rabbit looked around and saw the fainted man he hopped onto it's shoulder and slapped him. As the rabbits paw hit the amns fae both glowed green and merged to form to humanoid rabbit.

"sorry bout fainting. I seemed to have suffered some speration anixety. but I digress. Anyone else know what just happened?"

"Uh," Max sputtered.

Hammer's gun never wavered. "Fitz?"

Cleric poked what appeared to be Fitz. "That happen often?"

*Callisto did her best not to look at Max right now, as she could feel her face growing red under her hood. Instead she listened to what was going on*

speration anixety... that would explain things.

*She spoke quietly with a soft chuckle*

Jack angles his gun to the side, suggesting inner-city expeirence.

"Then you'd best explain, son. If you ain't Fitz, Whiptail might be having hosenfeffer for supper, after he digs the slugs outta it. Are you Fitz?"

Jack's gun doesn't falter, the octagonal bore mere inches from the rabbit-thing's temple.

OOC: Jack's a bit freaked out by this whole thing.

i.c I assure you I am, whiptail while you continue to call me prey beast now that i apear to be humanoid? As for explanations I have none.

Jack lowers his gun.

"Well alrightly then. Point Mario Andretti over there in the direction of the embassy, so we can get on our way."

The gun stays in Jack's hand, still unsure about what might happen in the future.

"Turn left into this building"

Fitz leaned out a window and said something to a guard who replied something.

"He said go into that underground passage."


o.o.c. mind if I add some traitors inside the embassy to liven it up?

"About time." Hammer lowers his own gun that had been aimed at Fitz, as the other Praetorians seem to relax (but not entirely). "That has to be the longest and most heart pounding roller coaster...I mean...car ride I have ever been on."

"You can park thing, right, Whiptail," Hammer asks, hoping against every indication to the contrary.

Snake takes a quick glance at Max. There is a slight nod, from Max and Snake opens his cell phone, dials, and then hangs up, all discreetly.

Max sighs, and turns his head to look at Callisto. "Think that was Eris," he asks. He flushes. "With Fitz, I mean. Separation Anxiety and all."

OOC: Celack, the more the better.

The guard at the gate spoke quietly into his radio as the car drove underground

"They're here. Prepare the trap."

Meanwhile, across Resi City a phone rings. Up in a tall skyscraper, sitting at a desk it rings with a call from across the oceans, from Drakonia.

At a similar office, in the government building that functioned as the headquarters for the Praetorian Guard, a man sat with his own cell phone up to his head, waiting for someone to pick up on the other end. The man at this desk was the Colonel, who had been in charge of the Resi Hunt Operation. His large frame was spread across the chair as he waited.

In Resi City, the phone of Umun Resi continued to ring.

The SUV shoots into the gaurage with a squeeling of rubber and smoke, spinning in a complete 360 degree turn. Having successfully parked the vehicle in the middle of the parking area, Whiptail shifts it into park with his tail as he collects his things and exits the vehicle. He looks at Fitz.

"As I am still hungry, and you have shown your ability to seperate, I will simply eat the rabbit half the next time it happens." Whiptail states in all seriousness.

"you do and both of us will kill you."

This was said in alll seriousness as well. Then the gunfire started.

The Praetorians stumbled from the SUV. They all looked drunken and uncoordinated as keep tried to stop the ground from moving. The ride to Celackian Embassy had been very death-defying, even for men who defied death every day.

Then the gunfire erupted.

"What the--" Snake's comment was cut off as bullet skinned his shoulder. "Shit!"

Hammer's gun was up tracking the position of the incoming fire. He shot of a burst into the ceiling, hoping to get their attackers to take cover. He moved in front of the door, placing his body between the attacker's fire and Jai.

Max meanwhile, had stopped Callisto from exiting the vehicle. Using his own submachine to locate the attackers. "This kid is hotter than--" Max too was cut off, as a bullet shot through his thigh.

"Damn." Max was suddenly on the ground, a pool of blood quickly forming around his leg.

Hammer opened up, full auto, on the attackers.

*Callisto frowned as Max fell to the groud*

Max! Crap...

*Pulling out her sword, she actualy manages to parry a few bullets aimed at the two of them*

This is getting really wierd now... but I guess thats good for me.

*Her hand came up, and she pointed in the direction of one of the attackers. Suddenly there was a "click click" noise and someone muttering "damn..." as they ried to unjam their gun. Callisto reached down, taking Max's arm, and trying to help him back inside the car so he'd have more cover. She was strangely strong for her size.*

Max swore and grunted as he was hauled back into the SUV. Blood slattered everywhere and Max made a semi-concious attempt to hold his hand down over the wound. "Hit the...artery," he struggled out. Blood seeped through his fingers.

Hammer and Snake were now opening up with their own gun fire, both moving protectively toward the vehicle. Hammer still stood blocking Jai from the oncoming fire.

"What the hell, do we do now," Hammer yelled, to anyone, as he reloaded.

Cleric who hadn't yet disembarked the vehicle shot off sporaticly over Hammer's shoulder, firing away with his hand gun as he made his way over to Max.

Max held a grunt of pain, he held his hand over the wound in his thigh. He increase the pressure, but slowly everything was numbing and it seemed as though his head was filling with fog. He felt light and then his head lulled forward. The pressure over his wound disappeared and the blood continued to flow over his leg.

Fitz rolled out of the SUV and drew his pistol. A line of bulle5t whizzed past him. He weaved back and forth with his pistol firing shots and taking down shooters. Out fo teh twenty that had opened fire only ten remained.

Snake took aim and then let off another burst of gunfire from his automatic rifle. He dropped to the ground and did a roll over to the SUV, near where Fitz was fire. Before the Psycho Rabbit could respond, Snake's pistol was aimed at his heart (or where Snake approximated the Rabbit's heart to be).

Rifle in one hand, pistol in the other, Snake did not look happy. "Did you set us up," Snake yelled.

Hammer glanced down, unsure if he too should be point his gun at Fitz, too.

On the other side of the SUV, Cleric had reached Max and Callisto. "Damn it," he swore, looking up to Callisto. "Severed the Artery all right." Cleric struggled to stop the bleeding. "I can't stop it!" Cleric turned started digging around in his bag for a clamp.

Blood was splattered everywhere.

"If I did would they be shooting at m-" Fitz was interrpted by a bullet going through his shoulder. despit ethe pain he still managed to empty his clip into shooter.

Bullet shot into the SUV, just missing Snake and Fitz. Reluctantly Snake withdrew his gun. "The Lizard?"

Snake look over the hood of the SUV to see if he could see Whiptail. More bullets landed around him and he was forced to resume crouching. He holstered his pistol, and again opened up with rifle.

"Or the Priestess," he wondered a loud. He trusted no one, but the other Drakonian's now. "Who?"

Whiptail was out of the SUV in a flash. Drawing a katana with his right hand and his Colt M1911A1 with his left, he parries rounds fired in his direction, whipping a small throwing knife from his belt with his tail, and flinging it into the throat of a shooter. The pistol goes back into his belt and he draws his second katana, rolling, backflipping, and deflecting rounds with an uneartly grace, his skills honed from over three centuries of combat.

Jack crouches behind the engine block of the SUV, returning fire with his good hand. The AMT Hardballer in his hand was like an extension of himself, firing at only what he could hit, which wasn't much, considering the surpressive fire his enemies were laying down.

*Callisto was flustered, her hair all over, plastered to her face and matted from Max's blood. Biting her lip she batted Max's hand away from the wound*

stop it! Lay still! you'll just make it worse.... hold on Max.. please...

*She frowned, moving slightly, with Max's head on her lap so the cleric could get to him better. She put her own hand over his wound, applying pressure and fought back.... could those be tears? Closing her eyes she prayed silently for Eris to help her. The cleric will find what he needs but it just happens to be in the wrong spot in his bag. Leaning over she felt herself getting slightly drained as she tried to move the chaos winds in her favor*

The Praetorian Guard nicknamed "Cleric" by his fellow Guardsmen, fumbled through his medpack. Suddenly, he found the clamp. Pulling it out he went to see to Max's wound.

Bullets whizzed around them as he moved Callisto hand (that was pressed over the wound). He handed her a strip of rubber tubing. "Turnique," he ordered her to tie it above the wound to slow blood flow to Max's injured leg.

Meanwhile, he move his fingers into the wound. "What the?" Cleric looked shocked. "Most of the bleeding has stopped." He glanced up at Callisto and then went back to work. Miracle, the word was left said only by the look on his face.

"Must be the bullet, blocking it, or something." He didn't seem to believe his own explanation.

Pulling out more medical equipment he went to work. He clamped the artery that was bleeding, then removed the bullet. Finally, he tied off the artery and bandaged up the bloody bullet wound.

During all this bullets zipped all around the SUV. Shattering glass, digging into the metal body, and tearing up the cushioned seats.

"There it's dressed for now," Cleric told Callisto. "But, we will need to get him some real medical treatment soon."

*Callsito sighed a breath of relief as she did her best to assist the Celric. A small smile spread across her lips and she nodded to him.*

Hopefully we can get someplace soon

*She eyed the bullet holes in the seat next to her, and bit her lip again. Her fingers ran through Max's hair, attempting to keep him calm so he didn't open up the wound again*

We need to get out of here quick

*She glanced around, looking for Jai and the person who was driving*

We're all gonna get killed if we don't do something fast.

Jack's .45 booms somewhere to the left, followed by a muffled groan and a dull thump.

"Any ideas?"

He shouts over the massive report of his weapon.

Meanwhile, during all the battle, Jai Resi had crawled his way into the pack of the SUV and slipped out the back door. With the gunfight distracting everyone he had made his way to entrance of the underground parking garage and was getting ready to take off.

Hammer, who had been bodily blocking the right side doors to protect Jai, suddenly realized he was gone after looking over his shoulder. "The Bird has slipped the Coop," he called into his communication's headset. just as suddenly, all remaining and conscious Praetorians were scanning the area looking for Jai.

OOC: Well, since no one else was RPing Jai. Hope no one minds.

*Callisto was absolutely torn. Her mission was to protect Jai Resi at any cost, but Max... what about Max? Looking down at him with his head still in her lap, she bit her lip. Damnit... She'd never had trouble making a discision like this before. She became Eris's head Priestess because she got things done, and done right. Now that was changing a bit, and she was faltering... over what? A human? One human male with his head in her lap who'd been shot. Scowling she furrowed her brow and looked to the Cleric*

get him to a hospital quickly. I have to go. I'll catch up with you as soon as I can... either that or I'll bring another car around.

*Her eyes swirled with differant colors, and she caught a vision of Jai heading for the parking garage. Carefully she moved Max's head off her lap, and she slipped out of the SUV, pulling her hood over her head. Looking down at Max once more she smiled weakly. Pulling off one of her braclets she slipped it around his wrist*

be safe Max...

*Quickly, she stayed low, avoiding stray bullets, and took off to find Jai.*

Jack ducks down to reload, the empty magazine skittering across the pavement. He slaps a fresh one in place, and engages the slide. Jack pops back up again to provide some cover fire for the priestess.

There was loud BUMP, as one of their attackers fell to the ground.

"i think there all gone..."

Fitz grimaced with pain.

"MEDIC!"



o.o.c. Holy shite. i had forgotten about this....

The gun battle had ended, Jai was gone, and it seemed everyone was wounded. Cleric moved from Max to where Fitz was wounded and proceeded to dress the wound.

"Now what," Snake grumbled. Then he realized Callisto too, was gone. "Her," he hissed. She could not be trusted, it seemed.

The other Praetorians looked degected and unhappy, yet still alert. They had failed, and suffered horrible causalties.

"Now we find Jai and fu<cking watch our backs. Those were traitors dressed in Celackain army uniforms. No-one can be trusted. After we find jai we get to the helicopter and check it for bombs. Then we fly the hell outta here."

Fitz started sniffing the air got up and ran in the direction of the garage openning.
