I have noticed relativly few fantasy nations here, and the ones I do see tend to be new, like myself, so, here we go.
FNA is (going to be (hopefully)), an alliance of fantasy nations in a mutual protection pact, simply put: We defend each other, and possibly help in offensive actions.

CONSTITUTION:

1. All FNA members shall aid in the defence of fellow member nations who are attacked by enemy nations without provocation

2. All FNA members must have some sort of fantastic modifier to your nation (Magic users, fantastic creatures, that sort of thing)

3. The FNA will not ignore modern tech or space tech, if the nation using it doesnt get mad and ignore our mages who blow their Ortillary out of the sky using magic

4. FNA members shall not attack each other, or nations under FNA protection unless attacked first or if a greivance calls for trial by combat.

5. Trial by combat rules: Each nation agrees to a set number of combatants, war machines, death bombs, and mages to be placed on a battlefield that is chosen by an impartial third party, if an impartial third party is not avalible then the council will provide a location, said third party or council member shall act as a 'ref' during the match to judge goddmodding and ignores.

6. FNA members shall not attempt to interfere with nations outside the FNA using force, or threat of force, unless the situation is addressed by the council or a public vote. If the council rejects the measure then they may allow the nation to go vigilante and act on its own behalf.

7. This constitution may be modified at the discretion of the council or the members of the FNA by vote, to submit an article or edit an article, ask. Voting will last seven days.

8. Council members shall be elected by the public at large for a one RL week term, council members can be elected once every two weeks, unless lack of membership or participation prevents this

9. All protections shall apply to all of your puppet states that meet the requirements, unless you state that you wish otherwise.

10. To be elected to the council you need to meet these requirements.
1. Must be an FNA member
2. Must be nominated by an FNA member, each member can only nominate ONE other member for Councelorship, you may not nominate yourself.
3. A council member may only run once every two weeks, unless lack of membership or participation requires they run more than once.
4. Any person caught nominating or voting for themselves with a puppet will be immidiatly expeled from the FNA and face possible military action.

The FNA will maintain its own military, the force will consist of donated units, and maybe later, produced units.

Are orkz considered fantasi. We have gunz and trukkz and stuff, but we also use choppaz and 'uge choppaz.

I dont mind guns, as long as you keep them somewhat fantasy based, Dominaria uses Skyships mounting energy cannons and bombards, as well as 'robots'.

We will send 1000 Aelosian corsairs. They are elves trained in stealth and assasination tactics.

Im sure you would much enjoy the company of the Keldons then, they are very much like you, though human.
The average height for a Keldon is six and a half feet, they each weigh as much as a bull (all of it is muscle) and they have an attitude to match, each unit of Keldons is headed by a Witch-King, who draws on the strength and rage of his warriors in battle, adding to his strength and making him near invulnerable. The typical armament is a large sword, what would typicaly be classified as a cavalry sword, its about six feet long and a foot wide, yet they carry it like a small stick, though they dont really need it, theyre about as strong as the afformentioned bull.

But hey, we dont want to fight you, FNA is a mutual protection organization, and as such we do not advocate members going to war against each other.

OOC: Oh I remember my Keldon Champions...Is their commander Latulla the Keldon Overseer?

My Dominaria is a set around the time of the Brothers War, Latulla wont be around for another three thosand years :lol: Anyway, the current Warlord is Kreig, our Skycaptain and Chief Mage is Barrin, and I am speaking as Urza, though I cant hope to match his level of sanity, I do try.

OOC: nothing personal, orks just like to fight, even with each other. Alliances are good, but that doesn't exclude them from fighting each other during times of peace. Basically, war makes orks stronger whilst peace makes them weaker. Its just the way orks think.

OOC: Could you be purseaded to keep 85.2% of the fighting to arenas and gladiatorial games? Keldons like to fight all the time as well, its part of their society that at any moment outside of sleep and battle you can challenge ANYBODY to a fight for their position, their belongings and their command, the only people you cannot hurt are women, due to the whole child bearing thing, and the Keldon women are the actual brains of the nation, all the men do is fight, and make little Keldons :lol:

Ehm...I have a problem...Aelosia is a space tech nation. We have spaceships and Grav Tanks. However, the army uses some mages and traditional medieval warriors. The Aelosian elite forces fight with titanium scimitars and rapiers and the Great Sorceress is the second advisor to the emperor.

We still can join the FNA?

Well, we're mostly Gundams, but we do have a 'spliiting of the mind', in which one person, if his good and evil sides are far enough apart, can split into one pure evil and one pure good version of that person. I suppose I can allow SOME Sci-Fi nations to join, but I would like to keep the Fantasy Nation Alliance just that.

My nation is based off of the Orks from Warhammer40k, so i am a fantasy/sci fi combination. Some of my technologies are far future (shields on space ships and gargants), (limited energy weapons on artillery and armour). But some of my techs are modern or below. (no computers, gunz that use bullets, use of gas engines, close combat weapons still in use)

Note that orks are willing to forgo use of gunz against opponents who don't have them, because orks like a fair fight more than they like victory ( :roll: )

Hmmm, should we intervene when a nation declares genocidal efforts against a fantasy-sepcies? (All the elf-bashing recently, im sure there have been Orc, Treefolk and Pixie massacres as well.)

Well, Im back, due to the death of the RP I was in. I see that some interesting issues have been brought up and that Barrin has made some modifications. Now, there is some buisness with the Blood Elves civil war, I put it to a vote of the council, do we intervene? If the vote is yes then all FNA members will contribute to an attack, if no, then they may intervene of their own will, but no FNA forces will be contributed.
The votes end tommorow, at about 4pm (OOC: Or later if my bus is late), if there is a tie then I will act as a tie breaker.

Ok, as a rule from now on, not an actualy piece of the constitution, any inactive members of the council shall be replaced by an temporary elected person until either the next election or until they come back, 'inactive' is a period of time until I grow impatient.

Since nobody voted except Rave, the vote is extended until we get some active members other than Rave to vote.

Alright, I'm here with my contribution to the FNA. 10 Valuan gunships, 15 Valuan cruisers, and 20 Valuan magic scouts. All are airborne, equiped with magic cannon( can fire shots charged with magic), have Main guns, secondary cannons, torpedos, and carry a small group of unassigned Valuan Troopers for deployment. Of course, # of troops depends upon size of ship. Gunship, being rather large, has 30 soldier, cruiser(1/2 size of gunship) has 15, and the tiny, 1 main gun, four secondaries, one torpedo tube scout has only five. Hopefully, this force will help the alliance greatly.

Note: Due to rebellions, Valuan airship yards are the only ones able to go at full output, the reason we can't provide the faster ships in our navy right now.

Thank you Vyse, would the Dwarven States, Khazad-Zar and Roania like to confirm their membership?
(Oh, and Roania, are you a fantasy nation? I keep thinking your a modern for some reason...)

Aye, I confirm my membership. I'll be sendin' ye 50 of my fierce dwarven warriors and several steam tanks for th' defense force, but I'll be sendin' more, I'm sure.

[I use Warcraft dwarves, not Tolkien dwarves. They have a couple of mechanical devices, including the aforementioned steam tanks and muskets, but they're your average dwarves other than that.]

Since nobody would vote in the election of the council, I have taken it upon myself to appoint council members based on how active they were in the FNA.
If you do not agree with this descision, we will have a council vote on the member in dispute, or, if you feel it nescessary, a trial by combat with the member in dispute.

The FNA Council is considering legislation for an Activity Monitor, which would reduce the number of inactive nations in the FNA. The vote is currently two yes, zero no, so, if one more vote goes to Yes, then the measure will pass and the bill will be implimented, the current amount of time between posts on the activty monitor is 2 weeks, after which nations will be removed from the FNA, though I am considering giving nations three weeks the first time around.
Non-council members may make suggestions on the FNA public forum, but will have no vote on the matter, unless it is seen that there is massive opposition amoung the ACTIVE members of the FNA.

My vote is to abstain, on the ground of abiguity. If we are to have an FNA only RP your suggestion would work, however if it only resides on this thread i do not thin it would work. This is mainly because not a lot is discussed on this thread (no offence) and so some nations may not feel the need to post. I will change my vote in due course if circumstances change.

The FNA is not bound by lines of race, nationality, or region. So far Grimgor has been FAR more active than most of the people leaving or asking for him to be removed.
We allow vampires, elves, orks, and humans into the Alliance, and we will not discriminate against one over the other. If you want to look at it from Aeolsias point of view, humans are parasites and should be wiped out, vampires are merely parasites to the parasites, and every race in the multiverse does not deserve to live.
I would advise any nation or group who bears a phobia to a particular race to simply leave the alliance. If not, then stay, and do your best to get along. Grimgor has NOT been at all the typical Ork nation, and is a valuable member of the alliance.
Those who disagree can leave, as they choose, the FNA will not interfere.

HOWEVER. Any hostile act by anybody, FNA or otherwise, for reasons of race, nationality, religion, or otherwise, against Grimgor will be met with full FNA force. You can disagree with him, you can hate him, you can even insult him. Just keep it at the table, and keep it to verbal abuse.

We already left the FNA. By the way, we aren't going to just watch as that wretched greenskin mocks us without retribution. If he insult us again, we will attack him, to show him a lesson. We don't have, or want to have any problems with the rest of the members of the FNA. We don't see humans and the other races as parasites, you're putting those words in our mouth, and many people from other nations knows that the Aelosian elves are very open-minded (Kain is one of those, for example, even being a vampire).

Just in case, if war arises and we attack our natural enemy, the orks, we will stomp anybody that stands in your way, with no exceptions. Please Urza, don't make us to wage war against people that we respect, as you. This is not a threat, this is a warning!. We haven't declared war on Grimgor yet. But if another word comes out of his mouth regarding the elves as cowards, we will close it with a well placed barrel between his teeth.

The Five Civilized Nations have been a circumspect, neutral observer of the FNA for some time now. I believe that the FNA is getting pretty bad, I'm sorry to say, especially since people are leaving...
