Grimzag grunted and explained, "Tomorrow we're going to see a mob boss. He knows things. Before that, I'm going to a weapons dealer. He should have finished work on my Eagles by now. Understand?"
Kris simply lay there, not moving or responding, hoping he would think she was asleep. Yes, it was okay, but she hated having to do this. At the first opportunity, she would have shot him for putting her through what she'd been through, but she was waiting for word from her superiors first.
Grimzag tutted and said, "Why did you of all people have to get assigned to hunting me down? Eh?|
She waited for almost half a minute, then responded in a quiet but calmly angry tone, "I don't know. Maybe because my superior's a psychotic lunatic? Ponder on that one."
Meanwhile, underneat the blanket she was using to keep herself warm, she twirled a small knife between her fingers, trying to get to sleep.

Miles away, Jack collapses in an alley.
Back on the rooftop, Dekker closes the laptop in satisfaction, having found a decent lead. He leans against the chopper, dozing lightly.
OOC: My internet is fixed, so I'm back! Sorry about the delay...
Grimzag pressed a few buttons on his watch, before turning over and fell asleep.
--2 Hours later--
Grimzag's watched beeped off it's alarm. Not that it mattered; he was one of those people who wake up before their alarm goes off. He turned it off and got to his feet.
Kris sighed and stood up. She'd barely got a half hour of sleep.
Damn it, just leave me alone. Let me get back to my life. Let me be like I was before I met you ...
Grimzag yawned and cracked his knuckles.
"The guy we're about to meet is a real smartass. He got discharged from Dreg-Tech when his leg was blown off by a gauss cannon prototype. Since then, he's been selling guns and upgrades to people who know what they want. I gave him my Eagles for an upgrade a few weeks ago. Let's go."
Grimzag kicked open the door of the warehouse and walked out onto the dark street.
