His Most Catholic and Imperial Majesty the Emperor Andreus I regrets that he will not be able to attend, due to the advice of his sister, Her Imperial Highness the Princess Irene, the Minister for Cultural Development, who, after seeing the Iesus Christi film The Eternal Elf, has advised His Imperial Majesty that elves are not be trusted.
His Imperial Majesty does not intend to simply accept this proposition on face value, however, and so has asked me to enquire as to whether I could attend in His Imperial Majesty's place. Please advise as to whether this would be acceptable to the Thelasian government.
Sir Michael Phocas, Knight of the Order of the Pantocrator
Minister for Foreign Affairs
Imperial Government of the Holy Empire of Pantocratoria
Of course, you may attend, please come of Thelas International Airport. where our soldiers will escort you to your hotel room, please, no guards.

A Peacock Airlines 747 lands in Thelas International Airport. Sir Michael Phocas is the only passenger. As the crew opens the cabin door and he begins to leave, a stewardess grabs his arm.
"Sir Michael, are you really going to go through with this visit to these filthy sub-human elves?" she asks.
"Bite your tongue, racism is illegal under Pantocratorian law." replies Sir Michael, pulling his arm free.
"But, that law surely only applies to other humans!" protests the stewardess.
"Do you want me to report you to the Ministry of Public Safety for racist civil disobedience in the second degree? Then mind your tongue, stupid girl." threatens the Foreign Minister. He walks towards the terminal, as the stewardess closes the door behind him.
Sir Michael pauses, and crosses himself.
"Lord, though I walk into a den of wolves, I have no weapon or protection save for you. I pray, see me safely through this!" he mutters nervously, before crossing himself again.
He spots the Thelasian soldiers, swallows hard, and walks towards them.
"I am Sir Michael Phocas, Pantocratorian Minister for Foreign Affairs. I am told you will escort me to meet with representatives of your government." he says, surrendering himself into their custody.

An older gentleman steps off of the plane. He is carrying a briefcase with a weeks worth of clothes, just in case. He looks to be around 65, has a handlebar moustache, wears a tweed jacket and beige pants. He smiles softly and looks around to see if anyone is there to meet him.
Princess Aliria D'hyru (former countess), our civil war hero and new Chancellor of Aelosia, admirer of the Thelas goverment and personal fan of General Theallas is going to attend. Her main interest is to convince other leaders of the best intentions of the new Aelosian goverment, and that elves are needed in a new universal order.
She will attend with no guards, only her attendants, however, as she's the second VIP of Aelosia, an escort fleet will stand by in the vicinity, due to the presence of threathening and hostile foreign powers. We trust that our ally nation of Thelas will watch for the security of the Princess.

Thelas is, for the current time, a protectorate of Menelmacar while Theallas awaits trial for his many crimes. Lady Siri will attend this tour, so she can inspect her dominion. Countess Aliria, she has expressed particular interest in seeing you again.
~Lord Turelio nos Fingolfin
Prefect of State, Menelmacar
A hologram message was sent to Lord Turelio from the Princess Aliria:
She was gorgeous in a black night dress, with gloves and boots of a deep crimson color, her golden hair adorned with a silver pin, sitting in her personal startransport. Then she start to talk.
"You seem to be a very polite and pleasant person, Lord Turelio. I would like to meet you. If you're really from the House of Fingolfin you should be astonishing handsome too. However, now my title is Princess, and not Countess."
She smiles and her eyes closes "Of course I would like to see Lady Sirithil again, me and my people owes her a lot, I want to thank her for everything she'd done for my country. Also, I find peace in my soul when she's near. I want to invite her to the coronation of our new Prince, my current fianceé, I hope she could attend."

There was a responce, the hadwiriting looking like some one who has writen Quenian and Sindarin all of their lives was writing "of course you may come, unfortunatly General Theallas is, unavalibal, but you may come, come to Thelas International Airport"
The dropship, a star transport, was similar to a huge red bat. It landed on one of the spacepads of the Thelas airport.
The hatches opened and a platform hits the ground...The Princess Aliria, dressed in a blue outfit step down of the transport, moving her head to let her hair be touched by the morning breeze.
"So...this is Thelas. Now under Menelmacari protection, it looks better than the last time I came here". Her assistants followed her, and a little maiden, clearly part of her family, ask "Aliria, Had you been here before?".
"Of course, I came here a long time ago, before Theallas was corrupted by Angband, and another time under the oppression of his cursed goverment. Theallas was similar to Ma'El then, but now he has regretted his past. I hope Lady Sirithil could forgive him"
"But, you never tell nobody of this..." the elven girl says with surprise in her eyes.
"I was a spy then, and my missions were secret, but now I'm just a politician, and a public server. We will wait for the Thelas guards here"
chanted words and soon formed at the airport. He could ahve tunred up directly at the place, but they seemed to be expecting him. A whirlpool of dark green and black appeared, and soon formed into Kain.
He has leathery green-brown flesh, long white hair, segmented brown eyes and taloned hands. He is obviously a vampire by the two fangs he has in his mouth. He has a sword sheaved on his back, the hilt extremely valuble for it's matierals in its construction, the Brightblade as it was known.

"So, are you going to take me to your government, or are you going to shoot me and rob my corpse, like in that movie?" says Sir Michael Phocas, nervous that the Thelasians don't seem to be in any hurry to take him anywhere, with images from The Eternal Elf screening the Minister for Cultural Development, the Princess Irene, made him watch before coming here flicking through his brain.
Netari looked at him and tried to calm down, "now where my friend did you get the idea that we would shoot you and rob your corpse. No offence, but if we wanted you dead, you wuold have never gotten off of the aircraft, well you would have, but a sniper would proably have killed you. As for right now, we are waiting for the Eternal Queen Sirithil nos Feanor to arrive, and then we set off.
Kain looked around and saw some of the people. Perhaps they would be expecting me...
He walked over, his cloven feet giving off soft clicks on the ground. He approached one of the offical looking men, ones which looked to be in charge of the place.
"I am expected, I am Kain Irenicus." Kain said calmly with no hint of pride.

Of course it would be guarded, it was thier terriory, and after all, there might be conflict due to prejudice. Kain wondered if the defences where stepped up due his arrival....

Once inside the huge modified concorde the President waves out the window breifly before the Presidential Pride* edges its' way down the runway.

Intern: "Sir, we just took off..."
President: "Your point being?"
Intern: "Twelve minutes sir"
Presidents: "Now remind why these guys are here?"
He points to the secret service officers attempting to look likt tourists. Something that may have worked if not for the earpeices, dark glasses & various other security gadgets.
Intern: "They're from DATA, sir"
President: "Is there anything they don't do? You would think the Department Against Terrorist Affairs and national threats would have something better to do..."
Intern: "Sir, at least pretend your having a good time"

"Why no, you don't look at all like a thief, Your Highness." he replies. "And if by Sacred Knight you mean a Knight of the Order of the Pantocrator, then yes, madam, I have that honour. I'm afraid I didn't do anything particularly dashing or gallant, but I have served His Most Catholic and Imperial Majesty for 35 years as a member of the Imperial Parliament, and have had the privilege to act as the Emperor's agent in all manner of events, like this one."
"If you want to meet a real life gallant knight, you can't go past Sir Constantine the Hardy, the Emperor's personal champion. He travels about the world, fighting in the Emperor's name like a knight of old. He is entrusted with the physical well-being of the Emperor and his family. And he'll tell you one of his hundreds of stories at the drop of a hat. In fact, if you smile at him, or happen to be sitting next to him by chance, he'll probably tell you one of his hundreds of stories. Naturally, they get better each time he tells them." jokes Sir Michael.

"Tell me" Kain asked inquisitivly, a faint hint of synicisim within his voice.
"What are your orders upon my kind, vampires?" Kain questioned, his arms at his side casually, the sword still on his back.
Sir Michael regards Kain with displeasure, and crosses himself, before turning back to the friendly Princess Aliria.
Kain found the responce to his question a little blunt. It could not be more obvious, he obviously did not like him, or his kind. But perhaps that was the attitude of the order or just him. Kain swore never to become completely prejudice against humans. One did not reflect the whole.
Kain gave a slight smile, slightly amused. "What's the problem? I mean no disrespect, I only wish to know where I stand." Kain stated.
Princess Aliria laughed at the funny comments of Sir Michael, her crystal voice sounding like a soft breeze. "He should be a remarkable person. I hope that we can meet one of the members of the Farseer's council of Tor Yvresse. Can I ask you to be my partner at the party?, you are so nice and funny, even for a human". She softly bites the tip of one of her black velvet gloves fingers and stares at Sir Michael, blushing and waiting for an answer.

"Your Highness, I would be most honoured to accompany you!" says Sir Michael, flattered. His demeanour visibly picks up, although he still seems quite uncomfortable in the presence of the vampire.
"Would you be so kind as to excuse me for a moment?" he asks the Princess, before stepping aside to reply to the vampire.
"Sir," Sir Michael said in a firm voice. "if you wish to know where you stand, I will tell you, although I had hoped that my previous non-verbal response would give you some idea without forcing me to make my opinion so explicit. Your kind disgusts me sir. The air of evil hangs about you like the foul stench of death, which has claimed you before, but which you have escaped in defiance to the law of God and nature. You may protest that this is not your fault, and you would be correct. You may protest that you are not like other vampires, that you control your urges, and you might be correct. But nothing can change the fact, sir, that you are what you are, and that your condition makes it very difficult for any mortal to be in your presence and claim to be at ease."
"Nevertheless, you did ask me a question, asking me what my orders were on vampires." Sir Michael continues. "I have no orders of any kind regarding vampires. I am here to try to disprove the racist assertions of The Eternal Elf and its ilk, or indeed, to see whether they are true. I am finding out, with no small relief, that the film is quite obviously inaccurate. But I have no orders on the matter of your kind, sir."
The scowl on Sir Michael's face disappears as he turns back to the Princess.
"I'm sorry for that Your Highness. I understand that you're from Aelosia? I believe that an Aelosian recently applied to join the Knightly Order of the Pantocrator, since we were talking about knights. What a stir it would cause in Princess Irene's faction of the Imperial Government if the Order inducted an elf!" Sir Michael says with an air of satisfaction in his voice. "You see, our Minister for Cultural Development is quite unpopular with most Pantocratorians, but her hardline on a lot of matters has gathered her a lot of friends in the Church and in the more extreme parts of the party. She is behind The Eternal Elf screening in my country, but the new anti-elf policy of the Ministry for Cultural Development is not necessarily shared across the whole Imperial Government."
Kain understood. He had been raised upon those ideas from birth. Kain would not openly argue his case. Well not yet....
Very well. I understand your beliefs for I once believed them too. I shall leave you for the time being, my intentions lie elsewhere. I was only curious to what emotions you feel against my kind. I believe youa re wrong, but this is not for argueing now. I shall leave you in peace, I know where I stand.I was created out of choice, but the alternative was far worse I assure you. Kain's voice trickled into the knights mind, yet his lips did not move.

God protect me from such foul sorcery! Let the sound of angels singing praise drown out the voice of the devil! Sir Michael prays to himself, taken aback by the voices he hears in his head. He looks extremely rattled. Maybe I'm having a stroke...
Seeing the flustered look on the knights face, Kain sends another message.
My apologies. Sometimes I forget that not all are used to this form of communication. It is a simple ability that most people can learn. It can be extremely useful, in peacetime and in war. It is no evil spell I assure you.
The pointed ears of the Princess move a little, and her eyes close.
Indeed...I know this isn't an evil spell. You're the first vampire?...I had heard stories about you Kain, about your inmense power...but this human despises you and your kin...leave him alone for now...
She opens her eyes and sees Sir Michael with sympathy. "That Princess Irene....Why she hates us so much?. Her heart was broken by an elf?. I hope that our candidate for Pantocratorian Knight changes her way of thinking..."
Kain walks a little away from the pair, not wanting to distrub the conversation, but he did continue with the telepaticthic one.
I am not powerful to say the least compared to my creators. I am not the first. Some humans do dispise my kin, but that is to be expected from any race. I judge upon individuals actions, not by thier race. it would seem I have made a name for myself, but I do not know of what they speak about me. But I am no hero, nor am I a villain. It is refreshing to see someone without prejudice against me, it is a good change.
(OOC Kain is the same Kain from soul reaver, but his actions are completely different from Soul Reaver. He was a mortal on nationstates once....His morals are different from Soul reaver, he is not so much a bastard. He was created by someone very powerful indeed however, another player.)

"there is the government center, that is our first stop"
It wasn't my intention to slander anyone, Kain. I had met many vampires in the past, and all were foul and despicable creatures...but maybe not all of you are the same. ((Description Okay you know what an Eldar looks like, Galderns got a bit of the Crystaline growth a few splashes of it around the eyes, and fingers nothing major just yet, but it looks a little odd. He has on basic Black Robes, underneath them he is wearing the Rune Armour but that can't be seen just yet. The Robes are black with Golden Runes sewn in, a few Gemstones are scattered around his clothing.
A grey cloaked Drow steps off the dropship. Her glowing blue eyes can be seen from underneath the hood. (Bajoni Drow have blue eyes) Behind her is an escort of heavily armed guards. She waits until she is inside to remove the cloak. It is none other than Nishà Redoran, advisor to the Empress.
Underneath her cloak, she is wearing the traditional gold Redoran armour. She carried with her a semi-auto pistol, and a decorative Drow sword.
OOC: Some side info.
House Redoran is the oldest and most powerful house in Bajon. Nishà is in line for the throne should Alassë Culnàmo die.
The other houses are Telvanni, Indoril, & Hlaalu, but they don't have much power. ((Yes, its a rip from Morrowind)).
Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah
25-09-2003, 16:08
A pitch black Ur-Quan Marauder ship jumps out of HyperSpace and enters Earth's atmosphere, above the country of Thelas. After re-evaluating the initial message, they had come to the conclusion that there was no need to ask for permission to join this event. The pilot of the ship hails the Thelasians, asking for an area to land his ship in a voice only message.
The ship itself looks menacing, as it looks like it came from the lowest pits of Hell. For what horrible war has this ship been used in the times past? It is unnaturally black and causes unease when seen, even to beings who do not know what it was used for so long ago. It perfectly fits the color of the Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah, and their earlier state of mind.
((OOC: Wonder if it is (still) possible to get into this RP.))
It wasn't my intention to slander anyone, Kain. I had met many vampires in the past, and all were foul and despicable creatures...but maybe not all of you are the same. I had met many Shadow Elves too, and many were foul and despicable too...but others were fair and noble...Forgive me...maybe I reacted as the stupid elf girl I am and not as the smart courtier I should be.
Kain smiled to himself.
Do not worry. As long as you judge each person by thier actions, not by thier race you shall be wiser than many kings and queens. You are not stupid, you are the opposite. For in humility comes greater knowledge, you will be a better person for this. It is good to see that your leader chose an intellegent courtier. Who do you serve?Kain siad, his voice calm and soothing.
The Princess approaches the Farseer and makes an exquisite perfect bow in front of him. Again her smile shine in her face and her ocarina voice displays its beauty "Greetings, Wise One. May Isha bless you and your House forever. I'm honored to meet you, an eldar with such wisdom and power, I hope that you can attend to the coronation of our new prince in Aelosia after we left this nation. Also I want to be your friend...", she blinks twice at the Farseer.
Then she send another telepathic message to Kain Thank you, undying one, for your kind words. I serve the new Emperor of Aelosia, my fianceé Fhiann Alberthil, but mostly I serve Aelosia and the elven race
She looks at the Drow landing behind them, and her face hardens, filled with anger and hate.Drows, and armed...with guards
The Princess turns to the Thelas officer, and in a altive tone she says "You demanded us to come without guards or weapons...Why those Drow came here in full force then?...Is this some kind of a trap?"
You serve them well. Give them my best regards, if this is what i cna expect from your people, I am most pleased indeed. I do try and keep as many allies as I can, in this sea of enemys. If you ever require my assistance, call upon me and I shall try my best. Kain spoke.
He saw the Drow. He knew of them...only a little infomation, but he understood there was animosity between the two.
Calm yourself. If they are to be hostile, which I doubt, let them strike the first blow. I shall be here.
(OOC: Bajon, you really have to lay off playing Morrowind)
As soon as the Bajoni troops disenbarked all hell broke loose, fighters shot out of hangers, guards were eveery where eilite soldiers were getting ready for combat, Netari looked at the Princes "No mam, that is unexspected" Netari stormed out, he walked up to Nishà Redoran, "madam, your guards will have to leave, all security is to be handeld by Thelasian troops only I respect that Bajon and Thelas have always been allies, and I wish that this event will not drive a chasam between our nations."
The Princess sends another telepathic message to Kain:
Thank you, Kain, for your offer. I will send your message to the Emperor. Anyway don't worry, I used to be the commander of the Aelosian Battle Maidens, and under this innocent appearance hides one of the finest warriors of Aelosia. And this dress hides an energy sword too
She grabs the Pantocratorian knights again and says "Sir Michael, the presence of those Drow is...disturbing to me. Do you dance?. I want to dance!", then she turns to Netari "Is here a place to dance?"
Good....one can never be too careful, you do not know when combat may come. Kain sent his last telepatic message and walked around a little, thinking about the apst events which had troubled him.

oops sorry did not notice you ya bring in you leader, I am going to now say that the RP is now invite only so come on in!
((OOC: The Hierarchy is led by the 100 "first ones", one being the one with most power, but the most friendly one towards others (ie. "doesn't attack someone who comes too close", but coming too close and touching it is still not advisable) is number 31, and that is the one I am bringing in. They have names too, but for the Ur-Quan, they are usually thought as irrelevant.))
IC: As the pilot was given the right to land his pitch black ship, so he did. On some air field he landed. He did not know the name of the place, but it did not matter to him. Ur-Quans never have been too keen on details. That especially being the case with Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah.
Once he had landed, the cockpit of the vessel opened, which is very unusual for a ship of its size, being two hundred and fourty meters at least in length. From it emerged a single being that looked like a huge caterpillar, as black as its ship, ten meters being its length and two meters being its height and 1½ meters being its width. It was not clothed, as it was never an issue for them, and nothing "interesting" can be seen from its body anyway. The black body sheath of the being is almost like an armor and it has a multitude of legs under its bulk, which are as black as its body.
The Ur-Quan equivalent of a face is rich in sensory organs, and its expressions are varied and horrific. (But it is easier to show this through a picture: Click here (http://sensori.soldats.net/kuvia/kohrah/korah-complex.gif) if interested.) It has four tentacles instead of having arms and hands. It has a mouth in its face, or more like beneath it. It is filled with a multitude of small red "tentacles".
Its body has evident scars from battles, and it is obvious that it is not a young Ur-Quan. No, you do not close the number of the first without being old. It has changed its ways, though, and as a show of it, it was the one sent here. It has quite some control of its own powerful instincts, being one of the few older ones gaining this ability. But times are changing, and many of the younger Kohr-Ah can do it as well.
The being now waits. Is it really going to be a good idea to let an Ur-Quan enter this event or not, will be seen.
"Well who do we have to send?"
The voice of Uncle Noel sounded sceptical. The last conference had produced a traitor that had blathered more than he was comfortable with and the other conference had been a waste of time as the object of the courtship had, in his own unique words, naffed off.
"Well sir," said the Deputy Chief of Intelligence, "Your niece hasn't got back from the Holy Empire and your nephew has been dispatched on that...special mission."
"Oh yes," said the voice behind the gold screen, "That mission. Very important that."
"Yes sir."
"So there's no member of my family I can send?"
"No Sir.......but you could always go" hesitated the deputy spy-master.
"Me?"
"Yes sir?"
"That's just wrong."
"Yes sir."
"What about that young fellow-mi-lad whose actions helped break that illegal lemonade-selling-on-pavements-by-14 year olds ring?"
"Major Gregory?"
"That's the one."
"He's a little crazy."
"Crazy in a 'thinks people who don't nigh-worship Uncle Noel should be fed to wild dogs' sort of a way?"
"Fanatical devotion to you sir? Major Gregory is a first-class example."
"Excellent. Send him."
"Yes sir."
OOC: No offence, but I'm still waiting to be picked up from the airport. And If you don't have time to co-ordinate me into the storyline just tell me. I have many other events the President is invited to.

Sir Michael answers the Princess.
"My dear, I'd love to dance." he says, offering her his hand. "And as for your earlier question about Princess Irene... well, Her Imperial Highness is a bit of a fanatic. She outlawed Harry Potter books because she thought magic was unnatural. She convinced the cabinet to abandon thoughts of space travel, and then replaced all science fiction television with Biblical studies programmes, because she felt that God didn't intend us to leave this planet. She seeks to make her own position more powerful by radically transforming the outlook of Joe Average Pantocratorian. But enough of my rantings, Your Highness, will you do me the honour of this dance?"
OOC: Sorry, I almost forgot about this thread utill I saw it on the top of the Forum! And Bajon, I need to know what happend to the drow, but on with the story.

Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah
29-09-2003, 14:42
The Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah stays away from the others and observes. He still cannot see the difference between humans and elves, the only difference seems to be that the elves have pointy ears. It is highly likely that the others would wish to stay away from him as well, and it is for the best. But even if his appearance is horrific, he is not evil. Their ways have changed.
His tentacles writhe and he hisses as he thinks in horror of the telepathic beings he has felt in this room. Thousands of years in mental slavery has left its mark on the species. The Ur-Quan have never been quite whole, even genetically, after that... Experience.
Kain stays out of the way of the party and watches the others. He was leaning against the wall, and sighed as he remembered his past. It would seem it would remain the same way....it seemed that trouble always started like this. He coninued to watch, his presance was noted but generally forgotten, he kept to the quiet corners.
Kain did not care for snobbery or royality, gossip was poinltess to Kain. He prefered to talk to those who had purpose and where intellegent.

Sir Michaels spots Kain in the corner.
See, now this is what I hate about vampires even more than the fact that they're inherently evil by nature. he thinks to himself. They stand around moping, watching everyone else live their lives. Wrapping themselves in angst, pretending to be so much deeper than any of us who can simply deal with our problems and move on. If they're so damned miserable, why don't they just bugger off and end it all, and leave us to enjoy life without their intrusion.
Look at me, here I am dancing with a beautiful woman, and I'm focussing on this damned self-absorbed soulless miscreant in the corner. Bah. he thinks. He turns back to the Princess and smiles widely.
"So, do you know this fellow?" he asks, indicating the General with his eyes.
Kain gave a glance over to the person who he knew was paying attention to him. None would understand the conflict that had occoured within Kain. Let them judge. Let them mock. Let them desipse. In the end, it effects nothing, thier own illusions of the truth are pleasing to them.
Kain gave a thin smile, reflecting on his own attiudes to vampires before he met Rave....pretty much like any respectable human, although contray to common belief, Kain was not a human. Kain still had traits of his old race which he still called upon for the good of others.
Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah
29-09-2003, 17:27
The Ur-Quan watches the weird movement of the paired humans with his blood red eyes. It is impossible to say who or what he is watching, as his eyes are fully red, no pupils can be seen. He thinks to himself, "What is this? Some primitive human ritual? I do not think I ever heard of humans acting like this. Maybe it is some weird local thing, this is a different *place* than the one we came from after all." After a while he continues to observe his surroundings. Human architechture is quite different from Ur-Quan.
His tentacles writhe. He fears and hates the telepaths, and even a single gesture of telepathy towards him might turn him berserk.
Kain walked over to the strange thing in the meeting. He was curious to see what it had to say...who and what it was.
"Greetings. I am Kain Irenicus. Who might you be?" Kain asked politely. He normally would have not talked like that to a stranger, but he did not know what to expect.

The Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah answers in a cold, hissing voice, "I am... #31, of the Hierarchy." He looks at the weird looking humanoid in front of him. His tentacles extend a meter or so towards Kain. "You... Do not want to come closer than this." He hisses as a warning. Then he continues, "I can feel... That you're telepathic." His face looks expressionless.
He also feels the rending mental pain caused by his instincts, but he is able to control them anyway. He hasn't gotten this high in the Hierarchy by being sloppy.
((OOC: You are looking at a two meter high, ten meters long pitch black caterpillar-like being with six red eyes, as described before.))
(OOC Alright....I think I can deal with this. Kain is a pretty confidant charcter, he has seen some things, have I described what Kain is like? Kain from Soul Reaver)
"I am telepathic...why would that effect you?" Kain asked in a deep voice, his tone quick and intellegent. He continued to look at whatever it was, Kain was still curious.
(OOC, nice idea actually to have that kind of "character". It is a nice variation)

Theallas turns around, "Well Sir Michael (This is slightly disconserting, he ahs never met Theallas beforre and he knows his name!), untill Lady Sirithil starts giving orders we are still and independant country, and as for why I am here and not in a Menelmacari jail. Well that you will find out." He turns to Kain. "Ahh Kain, it is good to see you again, and" he looks at Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah and decides not to probe it with magic, in this setting, not the best idea "who are you?"

The Ur-Quan was growing impatient. In the old days he would have already ripped Kain apart, but times have changed, he has changed. He says, in his chilling and hissing voice, "I... will tell you this: Mental enslavement. War and eventual recovery. Decision, fates of billions sealed. We fear and hate telepaths... For what they have done to us. Does that answer your question?"
His instincts scream at him, "Kill the interloper! Rip out its life!", but he is more than able to disregard them. He does not feel particularily threatened. The being he is talking with seems human, but something does not feel right.

The Ur-Quan grows weary from of all these questions, but he answers in his cold, hissing voice, "Number 31... Of the Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah Hierarchy." It is obvious that English is not his native language, and talking to these humans without the Talking Pet is arduous.
Kain understood. Then with a swift word of ancient language, Kain spoke in the creature's language, an impossiblity for Kain.
"Then I understand. What brings you here and here are you from?" Kain spoke in an extremely odd language.
Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah
29-09-2003, 21:01
"Then I understand. What brings you here and here are you from?" Kain spoke in an extremely odd language.
He listened to Kain and was unmoved. Kain is a telepath, and he has used his telepathic skills on an Ur-Quan. Not a wise thing to do, unless you want to kill everyone in the room, including yourself. His instincts now became even stronger, but he is able to keep himself from shredding Kain to bits. The horror of his species' history comes to his mind, the slavery, the splicing, the pain they had inflicted and received.
He spoke in his language, "You have entered something that is forbidden, Kain. Only the Talking Pet has the right to do what you have now done. It is not sentient, it cannot harm us, but you are sentient", he says, and continues: "If I had not seen the logic in my brethren's actions, I would have already slaughtered you. If I had not gone beyond them, I would have slaughtered you for what you just did. I am not threatening you, I am just stating a fact. You can use our language, yes, but do not even attempt to enter my mind. I was and still am quite serious."
((OOC: Ur-Quan have no knowledge of magic, so using magic will only make him think you're probing him. Tread lightly.))
Kain reverted back to normal language.
"My apologies. I meant no disrespect, it was only a simple cantrip. No telepathy, only the manipualtion of reality to what we call magic. It would seem you have experianced much pain. Tell me, what is this "talking pet" you speak of?"
Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah
29-09-2003, 21:28
"You... Wish to know of the Talking Pet? It is a translator. Telepathic, but semi-sentient. They say that the Pets are of the size of Earth... Dogs. Why are you asking me this?"
The Ur-Quan is having hard time, he is not that used to curiousness. He already knew that his species did not live in this dimension, but he was still not prepared for this. He is still coping with his internal conflicts quite well, which is one of the reasons why he was the one sent. But he still does not understand why Kain is so interested of his kind.
"Simple curiousity. I only wish to understand who I am dealing with better. Now, I have asked many questions....do you have any for me?" Kain said quietly and politely, he did nto want to anger the beast again. Kain kept his cloven ahnds at his sides.
OOC: Sorry, I thought this thread was dead. Sorry for the delay
IC:
The Princess takes Sir Michael away from Theallas and Kain with an amazing acrobatic spin in the dance. "Sir Michael. I will tell you all the truth. I have a strange hunch about you, I think I can trust you."
She takes a deep breath, without slowing her dancing, then cast a silent spell of Aura of Silence around the both of them "We elves are divided in three factions, or sub-races, the Calaquendi, the Sindarin and the Moriquendi. You had heard about the Menelmacari, no?. They're the descendants of the Calaquendi, called the "High Elves". The Aelosians are a mixture between Sindarin and Moriquendi, the Elves of the of the Dusk. The Drow, or dark elves, are just corrupted Moriquendi."
"To make this short...All the factions are struggling with the others, and sometimes they're allies, sometimes they're enemies. You heard about our recent civil war?. That war was caused by the differences between our Sindarin population and our Drow population. Theallas was a High Elf, but after a mission in Angband he returned corrupted by the power of Melkor. The corrupt goverment of my country, allied with the drow, send me to rescue Theallas in Diablo_NL because the Menelmacari wanted to capture him. Lady Sirithil knew that Theallas was corrupted. I knew him in that mission, after he dueled with Lady Sirithil. She almost killed him, but she brought him back with her poweful magic"
"I used to be a fan of Theallas, because his strong arm helped to the survival of elvenkind. But Alas!, after I saw him in Diablo I was dissapointed, he's just a shadow of the warrior he used to be. In the other hand, Lady Sirithil is the light of the elven race, representing all the fair and noble aspects of our kin."
"I'm afraid of Theallas, I don't know if he's still corrupted by the darkness, the fact that he has escaped from the Menelmacari is suspicious. Also I will be one of the most important witnesses in his trial, so maybe he's after me. I'm the fianceé of the new regent of Aelosia, and a sworn enemy of the drow"

IC: "The only thing... That we have wondered of, is this paradoxic conflict between humans. Some of them... Call themselves "elves". This whole thing... We have here is based on human/"elven" misunderstandings." He takes a small break, and continues, "They can even breed with each other... Yet the other, the elves, consider themselves better. Do you... Know, why is that? They are obviously the same... Yet they deny their similarity."
He glances at Kain again, and gets the same feeling again he got before. "What is this... I sense... something... something ancient... a sickly smell... a chilling wind..." He stops, and suddenly starts speaking quite well, in a weird but impressive voice. "You remind me of the ancient slavers, the Dnyarri, or the Talking Pets, as we call them now. You are not human, for some reason I can sense this. This 'aura', this 'aura' of yours, makes me think of the ancient evil. Why is this happening?"
The Talking Pet had been with him all this time, but only now he started using it to translate his speech, as he finds this particularily important. The Pet is still unseen, but it is very close to the Ur-Quan. He has never met a real Dnyarri himself, but he knows the history quite well, and for some reason, Kain especially forces him to think of them.
"Indeed, the elfs and humans have many problems between themselves. Are you familer with the word, "Prejudice"? It is rife between the two, they judge each other upon thier race, not thier personalitys. Kind of a hard thing to understand, it is foolish of them".
Kain upon hearing about his evil aura, he grew a little bit more cautioned.
"That "aura" you are detecting is from either me...or my weapon. Now please...do not act with haste. My own...."species" is deemed evil by many...but..I choose to act in the way I choose, to good or for evil. The sword...it is evil yes. It is kept under my control, it shall be destroyed soon.....it offers you no threat. It is acting for good now...indirectly." Kain said quietly, knowing that the wrong word could bring hostility, and damage. Kain did not want to harm the being, it seemed so intellegent.

"Indeed, the elfs and humans have many problems between themselves. Are you familer with the word, "Prejudice"? It is rife between the two, they judge each other upon thier race, not thier personalitys. Kind of a hard thing to understand, it is foolish of them".
"I thought I had asked why they do not accept the fact that they are of the same species, and as such, neither is superior, not of racism, as they do not even accept the fact that they are obviously the same. As we have pointed out before, to us, the elves are just 'pointy eared humans'. We know that they can breed with each other, look the same, and in reality, act the same on many occasions, but they don't seem to accept it. Even us, the Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah, and the Ur-Quan Kzer-Za have larger differences between us than they do. Two separate species we are, made for the comfort of our slavers. They paid the ultimate price in the end."
It is acting for good now...indirectly."
"Yes... I had such thoughts, but it is still troubling, that such a force exists in this reality. But unlike many, you have not judged us for our look and demeanor", he says and thinks, "but you do not know what we did in the past...", and then he continues, "Perhaps it is because you are more like us than I first thought. The fact that we have formed a nation and that I am speaking to you here, now, shows that it is possible to be different than what others expect you to be." He pauses, ponders for a second, and continues, "Maybe it is your weapon and yourself combined that causes these horrible sights to enter my mind, I do not know. It is not relevant for now, either. But I think we will see what is the truth later. We do not care about the definitions of 'good' and 'evil', as they are ambiguous. Anything could be called evil from a different point of view."
"What exactly IS your kind? You look human, but you are not one completely. What are you?"
The Ur-Quan is now more relaxed, as it does not need to talk itself, and it is easy to "speak" through the Talking Pet. This also makes him speak more, which might not actually be a good thing. He is not supposed to tell that much about his kind, and he is close to stepping over the line. He knows this. He is acting completely differently than a normal Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah would, but he is old and does not care anymore. It won't take long for him to expire. Might as well try something new and different.
((OOC: I just had the strongest feeling of dejavu I've ever had, I felt like I was writing the exact same sentence again, just like I had written something like a week ago. Maybe I need a day or two off NS.))
For a second Theallas stood seeming to try and pick something off of the air (really he was trying to listen in on the Princes' conversation, but decided that attacking some one magicaly would not be the best way to gain their favor)
"Well Ladies, Gentelmen, and" He looks at Number 31 "you are male, right?" He seems to recover and starts to lead the group out "well due to the absnce of Lady Feanor, we will be going." He leeds them outside, in the center of the city is what seems to be a giant needle made of the translucet rock-metal, the needle streches up into the sky "That is the Thelas-1 Star Ladder, I orderd its' construction when Thelas was slipping into a high persentage of unimployment. On your left is the Government center, our first stop." He guestures twoards the massive building, it's cristaline walls glimering in the sunlight, it is in stark contrast to the building next-door, same christaline rock, this time colered black, the building has the same look that Thelasian StarShips and GravShips do. A harsh and evil look.
"Yes that building is the millitary command center, you can tell what buildings were built when by their arcatecture, the new buildings and the ones from the start of this country tend to be that blueish whie cristial, middle period buildings tend to be black ad look like they would be inplace in the middle of the Impirium (OOC: of course I am reffering to Melkor Unchained)" As he said this a shadow seems to pass over the bright and cheerfull mask that he is showing.
"Any questions?"

"They are trying to overcome thier prejudice..,,only thier own willpower will overcome thier petty squabblings."
"Your past may effect the way I look at you, but I know that one's past does effect the future, but does not make it absolute due to it. There is always choice to change. I know the feeling of prejudice, and I try not to be prejudice. There is aways hope for change...no matter what the past. It is certainly refreshing to hear such a clarifyed mind." Kain said in a complement, it was true. it was not evry day that kain ad this kind of conversation.
"My kind....I am a vampire. Are you familer with the term? I shall explain the nature of vampires if you wish. We are not a species as such, more of a...desiese., but with blessings and curses that come with it."
Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah

The black Ur-Quan follows the group from a small distance behind them. It is rather hard to navigate with all these reflecting surfaces. His eyes are not used to such heavy lighting. The blackness of the military building soothes his aching eyes. It reminds him of home.
He speaks to Kain through the Talking Pet again. "A vampire? I do not think there were any such beings in the human - or any other - populace of our *reality*, as there were no humans that called themselves 'elves'. The databanks have shown us that only one species remains of that place, the humans. They seem to be everywhere."
He Looks at Theallas for a moment, and continues, "I do not think it is the humans that need to change, it is the 'elves'. Humans tend hate other humans who just think they are better with no real merit, the databanks show this. It is in their nature, an instinct one might call it. These 'elves' provoke other humans to act against them. It is obvious, although not all humans are affected by this 'elven superiority'." The Ur-Quan stops, glances at the Princess and Sir Michael, and continues, "Look at the one who calls herself 'Princess Aliria', and the one who calls himself 'Sir Michael' for instance. The princess obviously thinks she is superior to this Michael, but he does not care. This tells me two things: Michael controls his instincts quite well. The 'elf' on the other hand does not. She 'feels' superior, but she is not. Curious, is it not? The 'superior' elf is actually quite inferior, and she does not even know it."
"You speak the truth friend. Elven people tend to think themselves higher, but again...there are always exceptions. Elves in my experiance tend to be isolated from the world a great deal...combined with their longer lfiespan, and in some cases, supior intellegence due to it, they can become hauty and proud. But, humans can act in preciously the same way. The two races have thier virtues and vices, but not elves of humans have the same vices, or any race for that matter."
Kain stated as he continued to walk. he understood his point, he was pleased he met this person, he seemed to be extremly wise and logical.

"Now I think I'm beginning to understand." says Sir Michael to the Princess. "Elven politics move along a different axis to human ones, clearly. How difficult it is for a human looking in to understand them! Yet, I think I'm beginning to understand. Your Highness, if you're afraid of this General Theallas character, why stay here? His government has forbade us to bring weapons with which to protect ourselves, so we are at his mercy. If you feel endangered by him, we should find a way to get you out of here before he has a chance to act against you, my dear."
Sir Michael turns to the General.
"General, since we're at Government Centre, perhaps you could explain to me the structure of the Thelasian government?" asks Sir Michael.

Now the Ur-Quan stood there, gazing at the said military command center. Its blackness helps him to focus his thoughts. He then says to Kain, "That is a matter of controlling one's instincts. Even though we know that humans think they lack instincts, we also know that it is not true. As we speak here, I can hear my subconscious screaming at me to crush you, but I can control it. No being that has developed through normal evolution lacks instincts, not even humans."
"Many times, when there are two different species on a single planet, a war ensues between them. Why? For the survival of one's own species. Why do different races cause discomfort to oneself? Because there is the distinct possibility of them becoming a different species, the fact that there are *differences* is enough. The 'elves' provoke normal human instincts as they call them inferior, and the humans provoke normal elven instincts by becoming offended by their talks of 'superiority'." The Ur-Quan stops for a second, just to continue again: "But enough of that, for now. You said you have a blade with you. How were you able to get a weapon in here, considering that the others were told not to?"
Sir Michael turns to the General.
"General, since we're at Government Centre, perhaps you could explain to me the structure of the Thelasian government?" asks Sir Michael.
Theallas nodds and says to the group, "well, technicaly the Theallas govnerment is a Totalitarianistic Republic" Noticing the looks of the tour group, "well it really is a Republic, but the Highest position, that of well President, is a life time role. Beilive it or not, but that was the Human's idea, when they drew up the constitution, and vested all Domestic and Foreign powers in the president, they forgot that Sindarin and Noldorian elves tend to be ageless. That has caused some problems for me with the Humans" he lets out a sigh.
"you see, when the colonists, lead by myself, came to Thelas, we were allready at a somewhat Modern level of development. We had semi-automatic rifles, asault-rifles, submachine uns, and the like. We encounterd a group of tribal, exuse my language, primitives. Still stuck in the stone age. They thought that we were Deamons, you see they practiced a corupted form of the Human religion Christianity. There tribal rituals were much like what wrecked sailors would do on an island. This has lead to the theory that they are the desenadants of the first Human colonists.
As I was saying, they thought we were Deamons, and so they attacked us. It was a bloody war. We had tecchnology, they had numbers. Even then, stones and stick can do remarkable little against a .50 cal machine gun nest. After the war, the Human population was down to about 5% of it's origonal size.
They thought it advanageous to help in drawing up the Thelasian Constitution. Thus, I am a President for Life, although some times I wish that I could just go back to what my un-official tittle, that over time has become official, says I am, a General, actualy even more than that I wish to go back to what I was when Lady Sirithil found me, an assasin. You take your orders from those black envelopes, and you kill the person assigned to you. No Questions. Life was simpler then"
"The sword, although demonic in it's anture sustains me, and my bloodthirst. vampires require blood, and I have been cursed for my crimes. I cannot kill a mortal for thier blood, I must feed on immortals. I accept the punishment for my crime. The sword sustains me, for the demon within the sword can only be freed through me. it has been trapped within this sword for far too long....no being deserves that fate, to be trapped like that. It and I have reached a bargin. Others know that I live solely through that sword, if it was not there, I would starve, and that fate is worse than any death." Kain stated, the Brightblade going warm through the scabbard.

"Well, while you rejoice in your conquest of us inferior humans, do not be surprised if the rest of the world finds the idea that you nearly wiped out the population of this country when you arrived to be shameful. In Pantocratoria we are ashamed enough of how we initially dealt with Pantocratorian Indians in the Exarchate of New Jerusalem, and yet we never slaughtered them on such a scale as to reduce them to 5% of their original numbers!" says Sir Michael. "If you were truly so superior to those humans, then you would've found a peaceful solution, and brought them out of their ignorance and isolation. When a child attacks and adult, an adult won't nearly beat the child to death!"
Sir Michael recomposes himself.
"But forgive me, it is not my place to make judgments about your history. After all, all nations have done things of which they are not particularly proud. However you were personally involved in this genocide. I am told, and believe, that elves aren't the savage monsters and subhuman vermin that The Eternal Elf portrayed them to be, and yet, in your own lifetime, General, you have personally fostered the development of that bitter hatred by engaging in such brutal activity." Sir Michael continues. "I am working to overcome resentment by humans against elves in Pantocratoria and other nations. I have made such a point of your brutal history just now to point out that the resentment against which I struggle on a daily basis is not entirely unfounded. If you truly wish to foster friendly relations between humans and elves, as the initial invitation I received professed to desire, then you need to address the attrocities in which you have personally been involved, General."

"-- Others know that I live solely through that sword, if it was not there, I would starve, and that fate is worse than any death." Kain stated, the Brightblade going warm through the scabbard.
"Quite interesting. I myself have never heard of such a thing. Two beings, bound to the same weapon? Of course it would be possible by the usage of very addictive drugs and such, but that could be remedied. You said you were going to destroy that sword. What happens to you and the other being when that is done?"
Then the Ur-Quan watches and listens how Sir Michael assaults Theallas verbally. It would seem that even Sir Michael is not completely the master of his feelings and/or instincts, as this outburst shows. The Ur-Quan finds Sir Michael's actions interesting. Is it remorse that this human desires? Humility?
The acts of Theallas and his people are nothing when compared to what the Kohr-Ah have done in the past, but they do not need to know of it, and they are not particularily proud of their past either.
Kain sighed.
"With vampires, the older you are, the less you need to feed. I have a method of aging myself considerably while time outside of me stands still. It is a pocket plane, originally designed as a eternal prison, where someone could throw a criminal into the chamber, wait a few seconds and they would come out. They would have experianced centuries, to reflect upon thier crimes. Very few where sent there. I will soon go there, to grow and become more powerful for those who I am responcible for. When I destroy the sword, thus releasing the demon within, I will not have anything to sustain me. I will simply have to use bloodbanks, or another magical device to ease the hunger. " Kain stated, the looming of the task ahead worring him.

"Very well. I shall not ask more about it, as it is obvious that it is not something you desire to talk about. I have never heard of anything of the like and it is very disturbing. But it is only natural that aging makes the need to feed for almost any being lower. The body needs less, as it is not growing anymore. And closing to the end, it starts to degenerate. There is no such thing as a true 'immortal', everything dies when the time comes."
"I can never die to the passage of time. However, my existance can end swiftly to a few things..." Kain paused and thought about his experiances. Not one person had attacked him with the correct tools. Very few did attack Kain....
"My appearance is not normal by vampiric standards, when I became a vampire, the situation was....unusual to say the least. No vampire I know has the cloven hands or the green skin that I possess. However...although visually disturbing at first glance to humans, these traits are extremely useful." Kain added, remembering the first time he had discovered the wonderous attribute of his flesh. That was a powerful ally, Moebius never understood how he did it....
Wondering how Moebius was now...in the next realm, Kain thought briefly about him, about their times together. Not so much allys, more of brief conspiriters for power. Kain had learned better from then...
Aliria looks a Theallas with an icy glance. "So. Your people slaughtered the natives and you're still proud of it. It seems that I was wrong about you and about your people, Theallas, you embodies all the worst aspects of the elven race. You're not different from Ma'El, both of you are just corrupted and despicable beings. Now I know why he sent me to rescue you. I would like to had arrived late then, and that Lady Sirithil had killed you. And I even admired you once!...Well, I already know what I wanted to know."
Suddenly she turns and kisses Sir Michael in his cheek "You're charming, darling, I will visit Pantocratoria one day, to talk with you again."
Then she send her last message to Kain
It was an honor and a pleasure to meet you, Kain, you changed my ways of thinking about the vampires. I hope that we can meet again. Farewell, inmortal
Then she takes her necklace and says "We will meet again, Theallas, and I will be prepared to give you what you deserve. Menegroth Nimphelos, Oiomúrë Amarthbar, and suddenly dissappears...teleported back to Aelosia.

"I can never die to the passage of time. However, my existance can end swiftly to a few things..."
"Which is what I meant with nothing being truly immortal. They call you immortal, but you still can be killed, as you yourself just said. A true immortal would never die, out of anything. He or she would even live beyond the next great destruction of the Universe. Death is as inevitable as birth."
"-- However...although visually disturbing at first glance to humans, these traits are extremely useful."
"It is easier to get over such... Minor details, you still are a 'normal' humanoid. Do you not think that one of my species would be quite a lot more disturbing to any humanoid than you, yourself? We bring out the worst in most living creatures, and for a reason. I have not yet told you what we were 'made' for. We are soldiers, builders and the like. We have brought about destruction to others. We reek of death. It requires courage and complete disregard of your own safety to speak to a Kohr-Ah, face to face. Or utter ignorance of us and ability to disregard our look. Our coloring is a warning, and so is the way our ships look. The Dnyarri were not stupid. Evil, yes, but not stupid." The Ur-Quan stops, and he realizes that he has said too much already. He then says a single sentence, "But that is that."
He watches as the Aelosian princess talks to Theallas, and listens. She only confirms what the Ur-Quan had said before. Her own righteousness blinds her. Now Theallas knows she is against him. What was the point in that? Strange are the ways of the "elven kind".
"Yes, many would find you distrubing to look upon. But I do not." kain said simply. He looked again at the people.
"But that is that. The past is the past. I hope that you have a prosperous future, you seem to be extremely wise. May your people have good fortune." Kain said pleased by this conversation that they had.

He turns again to the General.
"Sir, I was invited here in the interests of reconciliation between our two peoples. I am doing my best on my end, but I can only go half-way. Elves will have to meet me in the middle, and such a prominent one as you could take your people along way to that mid-point at which the goal of friendship between our peoples could be achieved." Sir Michael says.

"Same to you as well", the Ur-Quan says to Kain, "It was... Refreshing to speak with someone not of my own species." He then continues to observe the situation between Theallas and Sir Michael. That is closer to the reason why he came here. To observe human/"elven" relations and "elves" in general. OOC: Sorry, yesterday I was working on a long post when windows XP gave out on me.
IC: Theallas walked over to Kain, they were out of hearshot of the others "Kain, when were you banished? Why are you an outcast? From what I have heard you commited no crime."
Kain's face turned dark...his memories flooding back. He stared at him for a short while and began to talk slowly.
"Best talk about this in a quieter place...." Kain instructed as he walked slowly over to the outside garden and sat down on a bench, his cloak going a faint purple colour, his insigna still white.
Kain looked at the ground and interlocked his cloven hands, trying to think best of how to explain it.
"I..I was banished from the Shentavos for a crime....one which I still suffer my punishment for. The crime was that...I turned a human...Daniella, when I am still only fledging. We could not feed off each other....I cannot teach her as well as I should...if every fledgling sired others, vampires would become unruly, untaught and foolish. "Make no mistake..I commited a trrible crime, for one which I am eternally seeking forgiveness...and my punishment is everlasting. My shame...amoungst other things..." Kain finished.

Theallas nodded and looked over the city,
"Then your life is not too diferent from my own.
I was born in a city in Menelmacar, this city was in perpetual clan warfare, it is quite while government troops are there, once they leave, the warfare starts again. My mother died before I could know her, and my father was not home much, but he did teach me hot to fight with a sword, he taught me one of the most powerfull human styles of swordsmanship. Now fogoten by the Humans.
My father died when I was 13, at that time I became an assasin for a clan. I was the best, my targets never got a chance to scream. One day, when I was 200 years old, for some unknown reason, Sirithil came to the city, she was in disguise, and looked like an ordinary elven woman, although she was quite beutifull. She was attacked by 10 men of a rival clan. I think they wanted to try and rape her.
Of course I did not know who this was, so I stepped in to protect her. As I remember, I killed all ten in one pass. Actualy, happy was not the right word, unfeeling is the correct one. I felt no remorse.
I had sealed away my true nature the day I started to kill. I was close to loosing that side of me forrever. But that year some one came into my life. Her name was Machel Herine. I was to train her. and so I did. I fell in love with her. She brought out my true self. At least, when I was not on a mission, when I was on a mission, I was cold and unfeeling.
The last mission took was a mission to Angbad. Machel and I were to be married after we came back. But Machel was captured. To this day I do not know what happend to her.
After that I blamed myself for her death, I though that if I had been stronger I could have saved her. I went mad. I had aquired a sword, it stole the very soul of the beings that it killed. With it I slayed thousands. Always beiliveing that I would some day take my revenge on the servants of Morgoth.
about 800 years passed. I killed and killed. It was that lust for power that took me to a lab. Near where Shentavo mannor now stands. That was where Ravellyn came into this world. Yuo no doubt have heard the details. But I tried to kill her. When she unleashed her attack. My sword, that had turned me into a killer, absorbed some of the power of the blast, saving me.
That power snapped me out of my maddnes. I returned to Menelmacar under cover, not wanting to get near Sirithil. I gatherd a large amount of colonists and set off for Thilis, that is what the charts called what became Thelas. I named the nation after a Human word for "The Sea" because we were those who cam out of the sea.
For a time a beilived that Menlmacar and Lady Sirithil had betrayed me and forced be into the enem camp. That is why I joined the Dominion. Not to long ago, I duled Sirithil. When I was duling her, I realized something, maybe it was the sorrow in her eyes. That snapped me out of my secondary maddnes. I let her defeat me. Actualy I had hoped to die in that duel. But fate was crule to me again. And I lived.
I escaped Menelmacar, and came back. Back to my new home. Sirithil might come to "inspect" her new territory, I am fine with that. Even now, I am fine with my own death.
Aliria thought me cold, and I am. I am only cold because other wise, I might break again, I might become a ruthles killer like I was before I met Ravellyn. Machel, she calmed my anger, and kept me sane. But I have no support. So I must have no emotions, for other wise."
He looks at his sword, it is not the one that he had when he had attacked Ravellyn, this blade did not have the dark runes of the toung of Angbad, but the white runes of Sindarin. He looked at Kain, "you see, we are not that dissimilar"
bump for Pantocratoria and maybe Menelmacar. Sorry to Menelmacar before she kills me, but I took a little bit of artistic licence about Siri for this one
bump again, I WILL NOT LET THIS THREAD DIE!

OOC: I'm still reading this thread and still waiting for an IC reply to Sir Michael's various outbursts. :D
OOC: now you see why he seemed so non-chalant about the human issue. After Kain posts, I will go talk to Michael and pretty much cut and paste the paragraphs, I am too tired to have to re write the ENTIRE thing.
well, Kain is online, I wonder wether he wil remember ths thread?
(OOC I have.)
Kain nodded in reflecton of the tale.
"Indeed we are similer, yet at the same time not. I bear a sword...I dare not draw it. I can control it well enough, but I do not enjoy being so close to it even though I am forced to survive."

"Indeed we are similer, yet at the same time not. I bear a sword...I dare not draw it. I can control it well enough, but I do not enjoy being so close to it even though I am forced to survive."
Theallas nodded, "Yes in that way we are different. I use my blade willingly. That is the only way I know how to live"
He turns back to Kain, "well, we should get back to Michael"
Kain nodded and gave a short smile as he got up with him.
The Aelosia's dropship landed in the pad near the palace, and just a tiny figure, covered with a black hooded robe exits the transport.
"I want to spoke to General Theallas", says a soft female voice from beneath the hood. "As soon as possible, please", she turns to the guards "It's a urgent affair"
Kain saw the dropship come down as they walked. A new arrival. It cae down with a soft whine of engines turning down or slowing down. He viewed on as a tiny figure walked off the dropship. HE looked upon the disguse.....a female. He could tell by the way she walked, even under those robes. A mage possibly? Or simply a disguse.
He heard her request, he had excellent hearing, as all vampires do. He heard her ask for General Thealas, and wondered why she would want him for. Still....proberbly honest and with good reason for the robes. Perhaps she was a mage of some type. She certainly did not seem the type, he had not checked her aura however.
Are you still here, Kain?, says a familiar voice inside Kain's head I have returned, Do you remember me?, the simple and naive elven princess?. Greetings again, now I understand you more than before
I am afraid I do not quite remember.....I have seen many nieve elven women....yet you are different. Kain looked harder at the indivudal trying to remember.
(I do not know myself who this is,. so many characters to remember...)
I'm Aliria, we met here some time ago. I have returned to thank Theallas for all that he did for my country, and to ask him for forgiveness. I was rude to him the last time I was here. The figure takes out the black robe, showing the cute face and merry features of Princess Aliria D'Hyru, the Imperial Chancellor of Aelosia.

(OOC Damn I cannot remember that....did they ever meet before? Can you tell me if they ever met before about their past? I forget...)
OOC: Oh c'mon Kain, was in this thread, a bit earlier....I can't believe that you don't remember
OOC: Aelosia I will be on late to morrow

Sir Michael is handed a telegram, which he reads briefly. He scrunches it up in anger and tosses it aside.
"I apologise General, I must ask for you leave to depart Thelas. I am advised that I no longer represent the Imperial Government of the Holy Empire of Pantocratoria, and that my successor as Minister for Foreign Affairs will not send someone to Thelas to replace me. Thankyou for your hospitality." he says curtly, before turning to leave.

"May I ask why you do not represent the veiws of your government?" Theallas says this with concern. "If you have no wish to leave I understand. Your government seems to take to the idea that we, Elves, are the spawn of Satan. Although I do find this offencive, I am a Christian. One of my beilives is that Eru, and The Lord are one and the same, and that the diferent reiligions have sprouted due to the inherant time diferences"
Theallas turned and walked towards the landing area (I am assuming that Kain follows). He walked up to Princes Aliria. He bowed to her, not a flourished bow, but a bow of respect among equals. “Ahh Princes Aliria, it is wonderful to have you back. What caused your change in countenance.” As he looks at her, he feels something in his heart that he has not felt in a thousand years. A softening of his heart, a weakness was formed. At least it was a weakness in his eyes. To his mind, to his assassin mind, this softening was a dangerous thing. To Aliria for a moment he seemed to have lost the sureness of his soul.
(OOC Oh of course. You must understand that I have about 10 other threads going on at the same time and a single name can dissapear.)
Ah yes. You are not a simple and naive elven princess. From what I have seen, you are more open minded than many. Still....
Kain walked with Theallas, his cloven feet clicking against the ground softly. After Theallas had bowed, Kain did not bow in turn. He never did...there where few he did bow to.
Kain watched with interest, his demanor slightly softer than what it was before, knwoing that he was with good company, his cloak fluttering behind him in shades of green.
aliria looks a Theallas with different eyes. "I came back because finally understand your grief, and why you betrayed elvenkind and joined the dominion. Finally I found your reasons, after I was betrayed by my own kin and my fianceé was killed during the coup".
She raises her left hand, now covered by a strange black velvet glove. "I'm here to apologize for what I said to you the last time I was here. I insulted you, without knowing why you did what you did back then". She removes the glove, showing a black ceramite artificial hand, beautifully crafted. "I'm here to thank you too, for supporting my people when we needed help. I won't forget your actions, and I will do anything to return the favor"
Theallas could realize that she was a different person now. She wasn't the warm, merry and naive elven princess that she was before. Her heart was darker now, and a deep pain and resentment was staining her soul...
ocked his head in slight interest. He did enjoy the feeling of curiousity. Any new feeling was a welcome experaince to Kain, time did make things slightly dull.
She has changed....Kain thought. Haven't we all?

Theallas looked at her, he was trying to sence her soul, why was she resentful? Why did she now understand? He covered his surprise, and his confusement about his own heart, behind his friendly mask.
"It is a pleasure to have you back here, and I do wish to know what happend, I understand that it is painful but" Theallas pauses, for a second he remembers his own sorrow, Aliria can feel anger and resentment in Theallas, but it goes away as quikly as it came "sometimes talking can be important, I learned that myself. Maybe you want to talk, alone." He turns to Netari "Commander, I want you to continue the tour, take them to TMCC and show them around, then take them to the Meusam." Netari snapped a salute, "Yes General, I will do that imediatly."
Theallas exended his hand to Aliria, (I assume she takes it) and escorts here to the garden where he and Kain had discussed their history. Netari at this point turned to the group. "Well, I will be showing you around again." He walks into a massive hall, made of marbel, the ceiling is high, the pillars are carved to look like the great trees of Lothlorien, in niches are statues of great Elven heros, the last statue is an image of Lady Sirithil nos Feanor.
Netari led them out of the hall and to an elevator. "This elevator will take us to TMCC, Thelas Millitary Command Center. It is a massicve vontrol facility and questions?"
Aliria was holding the hand of Theallas, feeling the callous skin of the experienced warrior in her cold, artificial hand. She looks at his face and says "Now I know what is to be abandoned and betrayed by those you trusted. I was nearly killed in the coup, I lost my hand, and the Emperor, my beloved, was assasinated. So I started to hate my own people and my own country, and I escaped. Noone knows I'm here. I came to talk to you, to understand you so I could understand myself"
Then she saw the statue of Sirithil in the garden "Didn't you despised her?, I thought you two were enemies...She can't be trusted anyway, and doesn't deserve the honor to be in the company of all this heroes...Look, there's a statue of Fingolfin, one of my forefathers. The legend says that he died fighting Melkor all by himself, and that he severed Morgoth's foot"
A lonely tear appeared in her eyes, and she washed it away with the back of her forearm "I want to learn how to manage the hate, the sorrow that I'm feeling. I want to be like you Theallas. Please teach me how..."
OOC: I will post a reply to your post Aelosia tomorrow, I have going to formulate a doozy of a post.
Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah

The pitch black Ur-Quan followed the others around, from a distance, as there was obviously nothing else for him to do. It is as they have forgotten that there are others in the group as well. How curious, he thought. But then again, he is here to observe these hominids who call themselves "elves", and is there a better way to observe them than being ignored by them? The reflective crystalline constructions are making his eyes very sore, but it is something he has to tolerate.
A lonely tear appeared in her eyes, and she washed it away with the back of her forearm "I want to learn how to manage the hate, the sorrow that I'm feeling. I want to be like you Theallas. Please teach me how..."
Theallas listend to Aliria, and nodded. Her story bringing back his own story. He sat down on a stone bench and motioned Aliria to follow. "Aliria, it is somewhat hard for me to hear this, our stories are so much allike. here is my story.
Sirithil was impressed, and took me to be trainedas a Menelmacari assasin. for 200 years, I was happy, I fought with one purpose. To follow my orders, and bring the servants of Morgoth to their doom.

I became cold and controlled because from the very first time I drew a sword, I killed, I took the life of a man who had done nothing against me. As I related, Machel gave me some emotional support. When she died I went mad. As to your question about Sirithil, I never have hated her. I respect her, and I thank her.
Well, so you want to know how to controll your feelings, it often helps to have some type of exercise that can focus your mind. Aliria, this can be very painful, trust me. Do you really want to continue?

"I don't represent the views of my government because it is no longer my government. My government was defeated in a parliamentary coup in my absence, and the new Chancellor has appointed a new Minister for Foreign Affairs. And General, if you thought that the previous government was hostile to your people..." Sir Michael says. He stops, shaking his head. "...nevermind. A bid you adieu."
Sir Michael leaves.

"It was a pleasure, Sir Micheal." Theallas nods (he says that before he leaves with Aliria)
OOC: any one have questions before Netari takes you to the Thelas Millitary Command Center, the Thelas version of NORAD.
"I remember parts of your story. When you entered that lab, I was hunting you. When you dueled Sirithil in Diablo_NL, I was behind you. I wasn't a princess then, not even a noble. I was just the commander of the Curudîn, the Aelosian Secret Service.", she says, a bitter smile in her face,"I was the lover of the traitor Ma'El back then, the ElvenLich, and he sent me to find you and convince you to help him to achieve lichedom. I don't know the details, but it was something related to your sword and his soul; that's why I was in Diablo_NL."
"Anyway, with the help of my friends we planned a coup, and after a short civil war my friend Kithail and me deposed the undead Ma'El and created a new goverment. Finally I had found my dream, a free country ruled by fair and noble people. The elected Emperor, Fhiann Alberthil, fell in love with me, and we planned a wedding. He gave me the title of Princess, and made me the Imperial Chancellor. That was probably the happiest time of my life".
She stops for a moment, then starts again "But it was a brief moment after all. Ma'El came back to reclaim the throne, and killed my fianceé in cold blood. You know something?, he never wanted to be the Emperor, me and Kithail convinced him, because we needed a neutral ruler. When Ma'El killed him, I was kidnapped, and Kithail was commanding the attack to the Resi Corporation. I wasn't capable of protect him. It was my fault, all was my fault. I remained in a escape pod for weeks before an Aelosian ship found me, I lost my hand and part of my soul then. So I never returned to my country. I escaped from the ship, killing all the crew and the sentinels protecting me, they were elves, my own kin, and found my way to Thelas, seeking help and advice, so that's why I'm here".
She saw the strong eyes of Theallas, and recognizes the strong will in his spirit. "I want to continue with the exercise, Theallas, I want to make my soul stronger so I couldn't be harmed this way again"

Theallas understood, his countanance was changed, he was now just a little les cold, a little more, open. "Very well then Aliria, first off, it is more an insencitivity. I do not know how to teach you, but I can show you and help you emulate it. Hold out your hand."
She follows Theallas instructions, holding out her artificial hand first, but then changing to her real hand...Finally I have found one soulmate. This man....is strange, but captivating at the same time. Ma'El was too corrupted, Kithail too proud, and Fhiann too innocent. But this guy...he's noble, but not naive, he's strong, but sensitive. I hope that I could know him better. This is the Theallas that I loved when I was a teenager, and the man I loved secretly inside my heart for so many years. He and Sirithil are the same, a superior kind of elves
Theallas put his hand ever hers, "close your eyes" (I assume she did so)as she did so she "saw" Theallas' soul, she saw the parts that made him what he was. She saw the some what niave side, that clod and ruthles killer, the honerable warrior, all merging to create the person that she now saw. She also saw the control that kept all the sides in place, and kept one from gaining conrol over the others. Even with acses to his mind, he was too well sheeiled to even try to see his thoughts.
(can you discribe Aliria's mind?)
Aliria's soul was divided too, in different layers, each one lying deeper than the others.
The first was the one nearest to the surface, a black wraith full of hate and desiring vengueance against the ones who stole her happiness, screaming like a wild beast words of hatred against all those who dare to oppose her. At her side were an alien soul, the soul of another being, one that was living in eternal sorrow and desires of living again, it was the soul of a male elf, a proud warrior that was killed before he could finish his job in the lands of the living. Strange as it seems, this foreign soul was located, and trapped, in her artificial hand.
Below this layers, lies a shade of grey, a shade made of the sadness and grief of her losses, of her lack of selfconfidence, of all her guilt for not protecting those who trusted them, and resentment against the ones whom she trusted and betrayed her.
The core of her soul, however, was pure and beautiful, a white shining shade like the soul of an elven little girl. Surrounding the core was another layer, a small blue flame, full of hope and good intentions to protect justice, good, law and her people. This flame was holding her warrior spirit, a strong will to fight her enemies with honor and courage.

Theallas opend his eyes, he looked at Aliria, "well, I think I know howI can help you, you are like I was. The first layers of your sould are full of hate, anger, near that is something else" He shakes his as if trying to clear his mind, "Below that is indisiction, and resentment, then is your most pure and true beilives, you wariors spirit, your deepest beilives. You said that you wanted to be like me, well then, you must learn to controll your anger, you must stifle the indisition, and control the anger. Trust me about the last part, you remember me at the lab? That was when I was out of control. On the ship you must have felt some of that, a feeling that by killing you can make up for the death of those you have lost. You can't let these feelings rule you if you do, you will end up like I was. About another factor, one of the reasons I was out of control was that there was an outside influence, that of Morgoth, it is a long story, but I senced a foreign power inside you, if I am to help you I need to know who, or what that is." By now Theallas is looking slightly woried, this brings back memories of his own exspiriences, memories of feelings that he had long ago forgoten, a bloodlust that for a long time he had hidden from his conciense.
Aliria nodded "Yes...I think you're right. I let the anger and the rage find a place inside my soul. About that...foreign presence...I think it's the Wraith Stone that is inside my hand. It controls the cybernetics of the artificial limb, and holds the soul of an dead elven warrior. At least that was what the Kenkari priest told me when he placed the hand on my wrist". Suddenly her hand grasped her dress, as an involuntary movement. "I need to learn how to control the soul inside the hand". She opened a little compartment inside the back of the artificial hand and pulled out a little blue sapphire "Here is it. This is the Wraith Stone"

Theallas nodded at look at the sapphire, "Aliria, why don't we go to my office, I want to show you something" (I am going to assume she follows) the furniture in the office is not extravagant, the items are light and elegent, there are three chairs, one desk, and a large window looking over the city.
Theallas walked over to a cabinet on a wall and placed his hand 6 inchs away from the cabinet, magic flowed from his hand and the cabinet unlocked. From the cabinet Theallas took out a sword, a katana, in the pommel is a red gem, on the blade are runes that seem to shift and change. Theallas placed the sword on the table. "That is the sword I weilded at that lab. It was forged by the servants of Morgoth, that blade was my down fall."
Even as he looks at the sword a shadow appears to fall over his face, his tone is darker andd holds more of the anger the he himslef feels. It is somewhat scary as his matter changes. Then he seems to get a hold of himself, "well the reason I brought this out was," Theallas took the rubie from the pomel and put it on the table, "I wated to show you what these things can do. May I see the sapphire?" (I assume she says yes) He picks the sapphire up and holds it in his hand.
He sends a magical message into the gem "alright, who are you?"
"I'm Rafiël Filanthis, Count of the Filanthis House and commander of the 2nd Shadow Weavers, or what it's left of him. I died in the Cyberutopia's civil war, killing hundreds of rebels with my death. And who are you?" says the stone in a soft, magical tone, inside Theallas mind.

"Robert Theallas, assasin and ruler of Thelas, and friend of Princess Aliria. I have never met you Rafiël Filanthis. And why are you placed within this gem commander?" Theallas began to try and feel whether this being was malevolent, trying to asses wether he was a threat, trying to asses wether this soul would try and controll Aliria.

What do you want Theallas?, Why are you disturbing my rest?. I was placed inside the stone by a Kenkari priest, as all the others who died in Cyberutopia. Aliria is too pure hearted to become a pawn of you, no matter how good your intensions, you will turn her into a coppy of what I was Commander. You would desencitise her to killing, that would destroy her soul more than it allready has. I cannot allow that. Tell me who must be killed and I will kill them. Aliria does not have the training, she has the ability, but with out many many years of training, she would die. I know your heart would never let ou rest in your eternal sleep if she was killed.
If she became like I was, you would have more than just the blood of others on your soul. She would commit suicide, I know this from exspirience, one day your defences are weak, and the memories of what you have done wash over your soul, you cannot take it, the pain is unbarible, you have noone to live for, and you slash your wrists, and stab yourself with your katana. I have been there. With out guidence she would eventualy end up dead at her own hands.
At this time another though occured to Theallas in his mind, okay Robert, why the hell do you care about Aliria so much. She just came to you for help, you could have turned her away. The only other time you even though of helping some one was with Machel, and then you fell in love, and that got her killed, so forget any romantic things, you would just make her a target. But then again, she can take care of herself, and she cannot exactly go back to Aelosia yet, what a day, I feel liike I love her, but if I do love her, I must not love her for fear of making her a target. What a life!
"What happens?" says Aliria, looking deep inside the eyes of Theallas "You look disturbed, if I'm making you uncomfortable just tell me, and I will leave. I don't want to be a nuisance. You have done enough for me, I will go to Aelosia and face the consequences of my acts"
From the stone the voice starts to fade Theallas, remember something, I will find Lafiël, with no rest, no mercy, no matter what. Take me to her, or I will go and do it for myself
Aliria kisses Theallas in his cheek "Thanks, you helped me a lot. I willl find soul again. I didn't wanted to abuse of your trust in me"

For a second Theallas just stood there, in his mind where several onflictng thoughts, on of wich was, what just happend, Aliria just kissed me, the stone has the sould of an elven warrior, and I have to find a countess. Wait why do I have to find a countesss? Ohh ya, because otherwise that warrior is going to turn Aliria into a monster like what I was Theallas looked at Aliria, his eyes went wide for a moment, then his normal mask slid back down,
"Aliria, please don't go, you have what I call a major problem, you see, that soul is the soul of Count Rafiel (I cannot use um-laughts on this keyboard) Filanthis, he died in Cyberutopia's civil war, and he is some what bitter.
He was planning to use you to find Countess Lafiel and finish soe buisnesss, to kill some people, I can tell you from exspirience that it will tear you up inside, it will kill you, not directly, you are too strong for that but indirectly. We have to find Countess Lafiel, I will help you, for your sake." The last bit he says with a slight hesitation, his mind is somewhat unsetlead, emotions that he thought he had locked away were coming back.
It was scarry for a man who lost controll of his emotions when he was not incomplete controll. To a man who willingly faced Balrog and journied into the fires of Angbad, this was terrifying. It was most terrifying to him because he was afraid that if e lost control, he would kill Aliria.
"I knew his name, but I didn't know he was searching for a Countess" answered Aliria. "You don't need to help me. I could travel to Cyberutopia all by myself and find this Lafiël, or whatever her name is. If you want to help me, you can come, but maybe is going to be dangerous, I don't want to force you to leave your country just to help me. Anyway, you aren't going to win anything from this, and this is not your responsability".
"However, I want to fight alongside you, and I don't remember the last time I was as comfortable with a person as I'm with you, Theallas", then she suddenly blushes, and looks to her shoes.
"I knew his name, but I didn't know he was searching for a Countess" answered Aliria. "You don't need to help me. "However, I want to fight alongside you, and I don't remember the last time I was as comfortable with a person as I'm with you, Theallas", then she suddenly blushes, and looks to her shoes.
At her last remark Theallas pauses, at a loss for words, why am I like this? I have never been so shocked, how do I respond to this? "well, Aliria, I don't think it would be too hard, I know that Netari could handle the government, and I know for certain that Kithail would kill me if you got hurt. So, when do you want to leave?"
Theallas started to set his mind for the task ahead, from what he had heard, going to Cyberutopia would be bloody, being elven would mean that they might have to right for their lives, nothing new. Theallas was just concerned about Aliria what if she gets hurt, what if she gets killed? Okay, Theallas, calm down she will not get killed. Why the hell are you so concerned about her. She is a Female Elven Princess, there is nothing to be scared of. Of course, I kno very well why I am terrified, I am falling in love all over again, but what a paradox. Because I love her, I must not love her or else my enemies will go after her! What a proble, what a problem!
Aliria can see the wory in Theallas' eyes, it is obvious that he is thinking about her, finally Theallas just smiles, "well, tell me when you have decided when to leave, I have some final pieces of paper work I have to get done" []Thats right Theallas burry yourself in paperwork and leave the philosophical stuf for later
Aliria smiles and says "Those papers are your shelter from the world no?. I used to hear music and see the stars with the same purpose. Do you know why the people elected me as one of the three chiefs of state?. I'm not a war hero and a legendary warrior like Kithail, or an amazing politician and mastermind as the Dux Lórindel. But I can read in people's heart. I'm the soul of the Aelosian people, their inspiration, their banner. I have this kind of...feelings about what the people wants, or what the people feels. I know you're scared, but I don't know why. I feel the icy grasp of fear inside your heart, but I can't spot the cause. You're one of the bravest elves alive, so I suppose it's not easy to scare you...So, Why are you afraid?".
Aliria smiles and says "Those papers are your shelter from the world no?. I used to hear music and see the stars with the same purpose. Theallas' eyes widend in shockfor a moment, she can read me like a book, I thought I was well sheilded, but this is insane, I have never let some one get this far inside my emotions. Is that really a bad thing though? Maybe it is time to trust some people, just maybe
Theallas then smiles. "you can read me like a book. For me the reason that I lock away me emotons is that I am terrified that if I let my emotions show, it will allow my, my, my darker side to come out. I have become quite good at emotional masks over the years. I have been able to sheild myself from emotional stimulus. But you, Aliria, you bring out more emotions in me than any other person. Make no mistake, your presence also seems to calm me, I don't know why, I really don't.
My papers are my retreat for when something becomes too philosiphical for me, I was thinking of some enemies of mine. They will stop at nothing to hurt me, I am afraid that if they see me any where near you, they will try and kill you.
That is why I am scared."
Theallas now has let his many masks fall away, those emotional masks, they hide a face that appears to be full of a mix of worry, exitment, and a ruthlessnes that could scare many people.
"I'm remembering something I heard a long time ago. My mother told me a story about a long forgotten elven hero, who was at the edge of insanity, full of dark desires of vengueance and hatred. But one elven maiden shielded his heart against his own nightmares, and sacrificed her own soul to protect him from himself. The hero was known as a legendary swordsman, and wielded an ancient blade possesed by a powerful demon. He used to say that she was the sheath of his sword, that protected and guarded his blade. He was always confident of his ability to protect her from their enemies, but afraid that someday he could be the prey of his flawed soul. But she stood firm, renewing his hopes and teaching him the meaning of love and honor".
A lonely tear goes down her cheek "Maybe I could be the sheath of your sword...Theallas, maybe I could be the one who can protect you from the ghosts that live inside your heart. Maybe...Who knows?, we just need each other". She put her right hand, not the artificial, but her own white, soft hand in his cheek and says "Do you want me to be the sheath of your sword?"

The Ur-Quan was growing impatient, it is in his nature. The tour was not going anywhere and absolutely nothing was happening. There was nothing to observe here. Were the hominids who call themselves "elves" really this dull? Even the darkness of space is more interesting than this, he thought. He could at least think there and search for anything. And added to that, it was very hard to think for him in the light, caused by the reflective crystalline constructions. The pain was getting worse by the minute. The blackness of the military building was not enough. He would need something to block the light or he might go berserk quite soon.
He had also learned of the growing activity (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=79002) of the followers of the Eternal Doctrine. Something would happen, soon. Something horrible. Something that would mark the start of the first Kohr-Ah Doctrinal War. Or maybe the others have chosen to leave them alone. That he does not know.

Theallas sat ehir in shock, something he would note later that he had been doing a lot since he met Aliria. His eyes said everything that his mouth could not, he could not find words to exspress the, the no, passion is not the right word, the rejoicing, no, the love that he in his heart felt twoards Aliria. (OOC: What is her first name by the way?)
he answerd a second later with a kiss, not a passonate kiss, but a kiss full of the love that he felt. In his mind he was at rest some what now. The fear had vanished, some of the pain was starting to feel more distant.
To Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah:
As if to answer his statement, the elevator doors opend, the elevator was lit by a dim red light, their tour guide usserd them in. "here we will go into the main command center, the nevercenter for all of the Thelasian millitary."

OOC: nope not too crowded, but I think Kain is on vacation right now, and Aliria is off with Robert, and Commander Netari is showing you around.
((OOC: Her first name is Aliria, her close friends call her Arien, the maiden of the sun))
She looks at Theallas, very surprised. She felt the feelings of Theallas storming through her lips, and opening their way to her heart. "I...I'm surprised, Is that a yes?" she says. Aliria, control yourself, you're falling in love with this man. but is that wrong?, when I was a teenager I admired him, he was in my dreams, kissing me as he kissed my lips a while ago. Oh, who cares, he's all I have now, and he's really a noble and beautiful person.

Robert smiled as he drew away, "what else could it have been?". As he smiled, he could hear the warning of one of his teaches rining though his mind, Theallas, you do know that by becoming romanticaly involved with some one, you put them in more danger than you are yourself. You enemy will always seek your weakest point. You cannot protect some one for every moment of the day, be careful.
"Aliria, we understand each other better than anyone else, our lives parrarell each other in so many ways, it is as if Eru has consipired for the two of us to be together."

The Ur-Quan felt relieved, even if the elevator was rather cramped for the ten meter long being. The pain was slowly wearing off, and he could finally gather his thoughts. He knew he was close to going berserk, he could feel his mind going blank. But now all was better. And for the moment, his instincts could not torment him. Pain had that effect. Extreme pain like this would completely nullify them, for a while. Although, going back would be harder, if the pain had completely subsided then.
He said, through the Talking Pet, "You might want to let me use the elevator alone, when we go back... The pain now controls my instincts, but I cannot say it would be safe to be this close to me when it wears off." He stopped for a second, just to continue: "The choice of color is... Interesting. What is with this red light, and why is this place black? I think you already said why, but I cannot remember it. The pain was too severe." It reminds him of the new "home" the Ur-Quan Kohr-Ah had made for themselves. Black and red are the colors they use as well.
"So, I know I love you. I love you with all my heart. But, What are we going to do now?. Do I stay here with you?, Do I return to my country?, please tell me.", she says, uncertain of what she should say, or what she should do...

Theallas was in deep thought as he listend to Aliria, "I do not know the nuances of Aelosian law, but I cantell you that what you did on that transport will no gain you any favor from a jury. I wonder if the ShadowPrince could help us?
Besides that, we have the problem of Commander Rafiel Filanthis, he told me that he will not stop untill he knows what happend to his wife, and untill vengace is exacted. He also said that he would use you if I did not fullfill his need for vengace. We may be paying a visit to cyberutopia, and I know that they will be happy to see the two of us hung from the rafters."
Theallas smiled trying to be reashuring, "I have no fear of the Cyberutopians, from what I have heard they are not mages, and wil not be expecting an attack by only two people. Getting in, that will be the hard part, any ideas Aliria?"
"Well, my country is involved in Cyberutopia's affairs, if we go there, we will find a lot of Aelosian troops. I think Kithail, the ShadowPrince, as you call him, will help me in any way he can. He's my friend since childhood. I think my title of Princess and Imperial Chancellor could save for the worst part of my crimes".
"I'm afraid of finding finally my death after all this years. I will go to Cyberutopia, and I hope that you could join me. But I have a very bad feeling about that trip...", she says, grinning "I could find an stealth capsule inside the transport that brought me here, maybe that could be a good way of getting inside Cyberutopia"

Theallas nodded, "Thats a relife, the stealth capsule would be great, I can mannage the exract, the Morchant Tirith have gotten extracts down to a science. So when do you want to leave, it might be best to get a good period of rest in before we go. (OOC: I know that elves do not sleep, I tend to think that they "Trance" like elves in D&D, or at least that was how it was best described in the LOTR books) By the by, how old are you? I know for a fact that in human circles it is considerd bad manners, I asked a female agent I was working with once, how was I to know that she was not elven by Human!" At this point he rubs his cheek, Aliria no doubt can infer what happend then. "They say that Human men are stronger, at least a man gives you warning and time to dodge, women, forget it."
OOC: yes this is Thelas, it is a puppet that I use for alliances where you have to join a region
"I'm almost 400 years old, 397 by human standards. I would like to rest for a pair of days, and search for some equipment in the transport, I haven't used a weapon for a little while, so a little of training can't be bad anyway". She smiles again, looking to his eyes.
"So, you have some knowledge of human civilization, no?. As I know, men are stronger and tougher than most elves, but they are slower and less agile than most of our kin"

Theallas nodded, "Yes, I spent quite a long time among Humans, some can be a tad, well barbaric, for all of Iesus Christi's blustering abuot how barbaric elves are, they make Orcs look civilized. I am still trying to get the images from Christofi's "Slaughter of Sin" (OOC: If you are new to NS, Slaughter of Sin was a three part series where the "Unholy" were tortured, an Elf got stoned, a Vampire was forced to ingest Holy Water, and a prostotute was spray with she-wolf pheremones and thrown into a conatiner holding about 12 male wolves (use your imagination, just not too much), he almost got nuked into the ground by Menelmacar, almost got invaded by myself, and finaly got banned for post offencive (anti-ethnic) matiriel on General) out of my head, killing I can handel, the Elf got stonned, he did kill some one although in self defence, Siri was mad about that though, so I could handel that, but getting a prostotute raped by 12 wolves?
Off of that subject, okay, we will rest for three days how about, I am sure I can find an extra room. Beleive it or not, I was not the one with the idea to build this palace, it was Netari. He said that the leader of a country should live in luxury, I was content to live in the government building. Netari decided that the only way he could get me to sanction it was to ake it part of the government building itself. Some times Netari can be a little too legalistic.
About training, can we train together, I will warn you, I always train with a real sword, habit. My style tends to break everything but Mithril, and becuase Mithril is so expencive, I only have my two Katanas, and a Wakizashi."
OOC: I will be on intermitently for a couple of days, I am visiting some relatives and I will be going to Philadelphia tomorrow so I will not be on untill the evening.
OOC: Don't worry, I'm not in a hurry anyway.

Aliria looks at Theallas with a strange face "That makes me sick, if I had been Sirithil I had erased that place from the face of the stars".
Then she relaxes, and says "We will train together, then. I'm not very good with the sword, but I'm an excellent marksman with my rifle and my twin guns. I can hold my own with a dagger, but it's not my specialty"
"I will check about the recent Aelosian activities in Cyberutopia, then", she left the room, blowing a kiss at Theallas when she reaches the door.
Theallas smilled after she left, then he rememberd something and phoned Netari, "Hendar, I need something, you know Princes Aliria?"
"Ohh yes, the women you are in love with?"
"Shut up Hendar, I need you to send your best two agents to keep an eye on her, descretly"
"Shure Robert, should I have a room found for her, near your I presume"
"You are presuming too much Hendar, just get her a room and keep he from getting into too much trouble"
"I have no doubt she can handel herself, she is not a little girl Robert"
"Sorry, I am a little skitish"
"I can understand that, after what happend to Machel.."
"Can we not go into that, I am in a good mood, and I am feeling bold today"
"What does feeling bold have to do with anything"
"I don't want to go off to Angbad and get myself killed, I have a feeling that that would send Aliria over the egde"
"So get her a room and two agents, I will keep her out of trouble Rob, don't worry"
"Whenever you say "Don't wory" is when I start to look for an incomming ICBM"
As Aliria exeted the room she was greeted by a human gaurd, unusual for the mostly elven country (95% Elven, 3% Human, 2% Other), "Ma'am, I am here to show you to your room, if you will follow me." (I asume she does), the officer shows her to a room, nicely furnished, but again, not over the top, it is obvious that who ever designed this building was thinking about utillity. There was a dresser, a bathroom, a four poster bed, nicely carved, a writing table with a built in Holophone/Display/Computer and everything that you would exspect for a nicly furnished room.
Aliria sits in her room, pleased with the good taste of the decoration. She pulls out a photo from one of her pockets. In the picture (yes it was a photograph, not a holo device, it was stilll a primitive photograph) appeared three kids, three elven kids, resting in the edge of a forest. The kid on the left was tanned and had long blond hair, dressed with the uniform of the navy cadets, and he was holding a little wooden sword, looking to the camera as in defiance. The kid on the right had a quiet look, with glasses over his eyes and a book in his hands. He wasn't seeing the camera, as lost in deep thoughts. The girl in the center was a merry one, trying to hug both kids and smiling. Her blond hair was curled and she had a beautiful dress matching the deep green of her eyes.
Aliria sees the photo, and a lonely tear goes down her cheek "Fhiann, Kithail, forgive me, I had commited horrible crimes, and most of all I have failed to you, and to your memory. Kithail, I have dishonored our pact of always be honorable beings with my fouls actions. And Fhiann, I already fallen in love with another man. He's worthy of my love, but I swore love to you forever" she says, putting her finger in the image of the kid with the book "Why you died?, Why you left me alone?. I hope you can understand why I'm in love with Theallas". She starts to cry like a little kid, still staring at the old picture...
In Aelosia, in the Royal Hall of the ShadowPrince:
Kithail Hyral, the Supreme ShadowPrince, was staring at an old picture, all alone in the huge hall of the Aelosian Throne. (yes, it's the same picture that Aliria is holding) He points at the image of a little elven girl, trying to hug another two kids, and says "Aliria, Where are you?. I know I failed to save Fhiann. It was too late. The Coup, it came too fast. When I arrived Fhiann was aready dead. It was my duty to protect him, and the rest are just excuses. I swore to protect you both with my sword. Twice I had tried to do so, and twice I'd failed. I won't let you die, I will search all the universe for you, to find you dead or alive, and bring you here to rest with your beloved Fhiann. Your place is here with you people. I'm leaving now, to search for you. I haven't forget our promises of always be together. I know you will never love me, but I still love you, anyway. And I will do anything, anything, to find you and bring you home"
An assistant enters the hall in a rush, still carrying a holo telegram "Sire, news about Princess Aliria, she was found by a transport near the outer rift. The distress call had just arrived. We have located the current location of the transport. All transmissions have ceased, and we don't have any lifeforms lectures inside the ship, but the homing beacon it's still sending a signal..."
The ShadowPrince turned, and grabs the little man by his neck "Where?, Where is it?"
The man's face turned pale, he had never seen the Prince so angry "I...in Thelas, Sire. The ship landed in Thelas"
The Prince let the man falls to the floor "So...Theallas had kidnapped her. Maybe he had turned to his old, evil ways. Maybe he killed her, or is just keeping her there to offer her as a hostage to his former friends in the dominion. Call the Admirals, now!"
The assistant stands up, stilll scratching his throat "Shall we send a fleet? Sire, but Thelas is one of our closest allies!, if we attack it will be an unwanted attack on a friendly nation!"
The Prince thought for a moment, after that he says "You're right. We can't afford to attack Thelas, they're still our ally. But Aliria needs to be rescued, no matter what. I couldn't forgive myself if anything happens to her, just because I didn't nothing. I will go, alone. Lord Admiral Prince Haralis Lorindel is in charge of the goverment now. I will go to Thelas, and face Theallas all by myself. Send a message to the dockyard. Prepare my ship, I'm leaving now..."
The assistant looks amazed, The ShadowPrince leaving the country alone? "But...but, Sire. You can't do that!"
He just turn slowly "not you, not anybody is this country is qualified to say what can I do and what I can't. Understood?. You have your orders. Go now, if you value your life"
OOC: Okay, I need to know what type of plane is Kithail using? How is he entering the county? Where does he go? and so on. And as too see this as not a totaly OOC post,
IC:
Theallas stood in a training room, the floor was covered in three feet of gravel, holo-projetors were standing by to create images of enemies, and stun-lasers ready to enfoce a fire fight (OOC: then fight seens will be very Kenshin esqe because I do not have my Sindarin translator to translate the attack names into Sindarin). But today, Theallas was just practicing on his own, good old sword reutines, a slash, a stab, all in order, all planned. And all usless against a well trained swordsman. But it was calming, and that was what Theallas needed.
The AMF war was over, AMF had been destroyed, now it was to be seen wether AMF's allies would continue the fight, and get crushed. In the back of his mind he wonderd about Kithail, how protective was he of Aliria? He would have to ask Aliria about how strong he was. It was curiosity he told himself, Kithail will have no problem with Aliria falling in love with him, and him with her, no problem. Ya right. Kithail probably will send the entire fleet after me if he thinks that I have harmed a strand of Aliria's hair, ohh well, such is the price of love.
OOC: His plane is a little fighter, extreme agile and almost undetectable. However, his plans are to land in the public airport, and announce to everyone his intentions of "rescuing" Aliria and challenging you to a duel. he will go alone to Thelas, without guards or attendants. He's a very honorable person, and will only believe that the swords are the only thing that can tell the truth in this world. that's why he wants to have a duel with you. Remember my intentions about that duel anyway no?.
IC:
Kithail boarded the small ship in the dockyards I better leave fast, before the news spread too much.
The little plane, with enough space just for one person, left to the uncertain destiny in Thelas.
After several hours he arrived to Thelas orbit. "This is the personal ship of the ShadowPrince of Aelosia. I'm asking permission to land in the spacedock, I repeat, I'm asking permission to land in the spacedock".

He was greeted by a destroyer sitting near the space dock,
"Prince Kithail, you have permision to land, should I inform General Theallas and Princes Aliria or your arival? You are cleared for landing dock one on the starlader."
"Yes, definetely you should tell them that I'm here". Kithail landed in the nearest space dock, exiting the platform of the ship as fast as he can. He was dressed in the ceremonial armor of the ShadowPrince, a silvery breastplate made of titanium and ceramite. Aranruth, the mythical sword of the first King of the Sindarin people was hanging on his back. He approaches the first guard with a regal look and says with a grim voice, enounciating very clearly in perfect Sindarin "Theallas, Where is him?. Take to him, now"

The guard, a capitan, looked at him, "Sir, welcome to Thelas, and please calm down, we will take you to General Theallas as soon as he aknologes that he is free, it is hectic day, AMF disapearing and all.
In the mean time, Theallas was whatching this excange through a live vid feed, as soon as he saw Kithail in his armor, with his sword, he had grabbed three swords, his normal blade, the Acharn Hathol (Vengance Blade, the sword the he got while in Angbad) and a Wakizashi. He walked, well ran to Aliria's room and knocked on the door, "Aliria, Kithail has come to Thelas, and while that usualy is not a bad thing, he seems to be ready for battle, I don't think it normal for him to go around everwhere carrying Aranruth."
Aliria opens her eyes wide and says, with a desperate look on her face "Oh, no. I...I can't see him. I'm not ready to tell him what I have done in the transport. If he see me, he will know it. Don't worry about the Aranruth, he always carries a sword, as a matter of fact he only carries Aranruth in formal occassions. It's a ceremonial sword, his true sword is the Gothmog's Bane, the sword of Ecthelion of the Fountain. He's here looking for me, he somehow finds out that I am with you. But I can't face him, not right now. I'm not ready, I'm afraid of him. It's not like he's going to hurt me, it's more like I don't want to hurt him with what I have to say to him"

(I am assumin that Theallas walked in at some point)
Theallas put a hand on her shoulder, "I understand, he will want to see you though. I will try to keep him ocupied, seeing the look in his eyes, he is concerned for you, and he is willing to kill to make sure your okay"
In the mean time the captain was leading Kithail twoards the government center, "Sir do you wish to see some of the city before you see Theallas, or maybe you might want to veiw some of our Grav-Ships?" He cocks his head to the side for a second, "I just got word, Theallas is extreemly buissy right now, there is a revolt in a Human city, do you want to see any of the sights? Or I could show you too the training room?"
I would like to visit this great region.
"The training room is OK. I just want to see Aliria. I can wait for her there" says Kithail, directing an icy glance over the city. "You should reconsider the option of moving into a craftworld, that way you could get rid of the humans and live as any free and true elf wants to live. However I must recognize that this is a very beautiful city. Your people had done a good job here".
He follows his guide into the training room. Then he says "Maybe I want to be alone for a while. Call me when Aliria and Theallas are ready to see me". He starts to walk around the training ground, trying to recognize things that represent the Theallas way of fighting.

The captain nods, "I wil do that Sir." And walks off.
The walls of the training room are bare, and the only personal things are weapons hanging on the walls, all of them are cuting weapons. A Ko-Dachi here, a Katana there, all cutting blades.
Soon (OOC: I am changing Theallas' name, "Robert" is not an elven first name, and I just had some one inform me that Theallas is a good first name. So new name is: Theallas Nekera, the last name is a Romanisation of "Nuktos" which means "night" in ancient greek) Theallas walked into the room. "Ah Prince Kithail, what a plesure it is to see you again. I had an officer try to wake up Princes Aliria, but she seems to have gone into Trance, and is ignoing the rest of us. I hope this is not too much of an inconveniance."
Kitahil turns to Theallas, listen carefully to his words, the veins in his neck pulsing hard. He starts to talk in a very soft and low voice, but enunciating the words in a very firm tone. "Oh, General Theallas, I´m sorry, but I can't share your pleasure. And about Aliria, yes it is a inconveniance. I want to see her now. Where are you holding her?".
Kithail was outraged, in trance. She is doped for sure. "She's the only business that brought me here, Theallas. Free her now, and I will leave this place in peace. I don't know what you have agreed with your friends in the Dominion, but I don't want Aliria involved". He stares at Theallas with an icy glance, clearly hostile, but his hands don't make a move.

OOC: This may be my last post fr a couple of days
IC: Theallas just stood there, his freidly mask still up, he was smilling, "Kithail, why would I hold Aliria? I could understand if we were in Whispering Voices, but in Thelas? I have been trying to join SATO, and I have left the Dominion. Why would I, of all people, kidnap Aliria, as I told you, she is resting in Trance."
Kithail keeps talking with a soft tone "I'm sorry, but I can't trust in your word. I repeat from one last time. I need to see Aliria...NOW!". The last word was almost a roar, coming from inside his chest, and his hand moved quickly to the hilt of Aranrúth. He raises his voice in anger, then says "I don't care if she's in trance, if she's dead, if she's taking a shower. I want to see her now!, and for Oröme's sake, I'm not asking you to take me to her. I'm demanding you. Do you understand?".
Few people had seen the ShadowPrince of Aelosia in anger, and only a handful of them had survived. The rage made him transform in something...else. Many people called him the reincarnation of Ecthelion of the Fountain, the slayer of Gothmog, and in fact he resembled the mythic warrior when the battle Awen possesed his body. His hair seems to grow, and in his eyes appeared the grim determination of those who had seen the light of the Valinor trees and fought Morgoth in the First Age of Middle Earth.
He suddenly calm down. His eyes return to normal, and he seems to be relaxed "I won't talk anymore. The next time my blade will talk for me" he says, in the same soft tone of before.

Theallas did a heel turn and walked twoards the case where the Hathol Archarn was sealed, as he walked he continued talking, "I have no wish to fight you Prince, but, I will if you keep acting this way." Theallas took out the blade, on its' side the runes of Angbad blase with power, and anticipation of fighting the ancient blade. He slowly put the sword into his belt, removing the other katana that he used.
Kithail, I will not let you see Aliria right now. She does not wish to be disturbed, alot has happend, more than you know. She will tell it to you in due time. You must calm down. Of all the people in this world, I must be the person who least wants to have to use the blade that I hold. Yet I do, I do for Aliria's sake." The friendly mask has dropped from his face, now a grim determination has set in. "I will do my best not to harm you Kithail. For Aliria's sake again"
Theallas dropped into a battle stance (Ameru no Hirameki, from Rouroni Kenshin, Kenshin's finaly attack, correct me if I am confused, I wachted the entire Shishio Arc in one night!), his eyes forcused on Kithail, he started to feel for the Prince's emotions, anything that will tell Theallas what type of attack he will use.
OOC: It's Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki.

"I didn't came to fight you either, Theallas. But if you aren't going to let me see Aliria, then I will open a path until I reach her. And if that path has to pass over your dead body, then so be it.", says Kithail, closing his eyes.
He draws the Aranrúth, moving very slowly. The black blade came out as the sword was waiting for this moment. "You dare to draw that wretched creation of Angbang to face Aranrúth, the Sword of Thingol?. You will never defeat me with that cursed blade. My sword is the sister of Mormegil, the one that killed Glaurung, father of dragons."
He dropped into a battle stance too, holding the sword over his head, putting his finger near the tip of the lond, curved blade (Gatotsu, the stance of Saito Hajime in Rurouni Kenshin).
He closes his eyes, abandoning his spirit to the Awen, the joy of battle. He raise a shield surrounding his soul, to prevent Theallas for reading his mind.
"Shall we...?", he says, smiling...

Theallas smiled, now in his element, he waited, who would make the first move, that would decide the match. He waited, he flicked the blade of his sword out a quater of an inch, Kithail could see that the blade was double sided. Able to cut its weilder as easily as it could cut the enemy. Theallas sent a mental message to Aliria, Aliria, we have a small problem, well okay, a big problem. Kithail seems to have taken it into his head that I have kidnapped you, and we are about to duel each other, now I will not kill Kithail, but I know for a fact that he will try and kill me
And so Theallas waited for Kithail's next move.
The legend is true. He is an amazing swordman Kithail says to himself. His muscles didn't moved an inch, controlling his emotions to raise the Zen, the moment of absolute perfection. He looked into Theallas eyes, trying to find a clue about his sword style. The Gatotsu was a one cut technique, so he will have just one opportunity.
A single drop of sweat ran down his forehead, but soon any distractions dissapeared. Aliria was gone, theallas was gone, Aelosia was gone. The only things left in his universe was his arm and his sword, surrounded by the perfection of the void, embracing him like a mother protecting his child, giving him the understanding of the universe and the infinite wisdom of the ages.

As Kithail scrutenized Theallas, he realized something odd about Theallas' eyes, mainly, they were a shocking blue, and had no pupils. Just blue, not even white. Theallas' face was black, just like a machines. He could tell one thing though, Theallas was low to the ground, he seemed to be getting ready for a massive burst of speed, but other than that nothing.
Theallas held still, as with the Prince, not a mussle move, unlike the Prince, Theallas was very aware of Kithail, although not in the physical world, he was whatching Kithail in the spirt-plane, in that plane was where speed did not matter, where an invisibility spell wil not have an effect, where even the most hiden figure will be seen.
After 15 minutes of thoughtful comtemplation, Kithail moved...
He jumped high into the air, using the void to empower the jump. His velocity was so amazing that he was almost invisible, as he had teleported.
He landed behind Theallas, turning around and thrusting forward with the tip of Aranrúth, trying to stab Theallas in the chest, launching his body forward. He wanted to catch Theallas unaware, to surprise him so this fight could be silent and fast.

Theallas had been waiting to feel the power build up for that attack, he jumped to the side, Aranruth just barely cutting his left shoulder. He stopped moving a safe distance and resumed his former stance, this time not waiting for anything. I need to finish this,he will block my first strike, but he thinks I am going to try and wound him, thus, I will not. Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki is a fast attack, he will not dodge it, he will probably try to block it..
Theallas atttacked using Amakakeru Ryu no Hirameki, the blinding speed familiar to tose who have seen it before. Those in the way of the attack usualy never see anything again, but this time that was not his purpose.
(If Kithail does block)
Theallas felt their swords contact, the sound ringing through the air. Then, he struck. Pulling his scabard from his belt he used it as a second sword, aiming at Kithails jaw or neck. (he is stabbing with the scabard)
(If Kithail dodges, I hope he has health insurance)
The edge of Aranruth met with the sword of Theallas, stopping the attack, sparks flew in the air as the two swords encountered, and the combatants hear a sharp shrieking sound as the blades tried to break each other. However the Theallas technique was too strong for the guard of the ShadowPrince, and his strength failed just for a second, making him stagger back a little. He lost his balance, then realizing the true intention of Theallas when he saw his hand grabbing the scabbard of his katana.
It was too late, he didn't have enough balance to counter the Theallas ascendent attack. The scabbard hitted his jaw hard, and the sound of broken teeth echoes in the training room. However, Kithail was too well trained and versed in the sword art. He takes advantage of the own force of the blow and spins in the same direction, raising his leg to land a kick in the face of Theallas, making a backflip.

Theallas moved his head back, trying to dodge the attack, unfortuatly for THeallas, Kithail's kick landed where Theallas had been wounded earlier. Theallas felt the intence pain shoot through his arm, he backed off for a second, "Kithail, two of ourr race should not fight, one of us is going to get killed here. I doubt Aliria would want you to kill for her sake." While he was saying this, he place the tip of his blade in the ground, turning it so that the back of the blade was facing Kithail (Do Ryu Sen). Kithail could feel that magical power was focusing on the reverce of the blade.
(Assuming he conitnues to be hostile)
Theallas nodded, he pulled his blade up, the magic on it causing the air to form a shockwave, powerful enough to cause the ground to split in a fisure. As Kithail had his attencion on the attack, Theallas launched a second. His sword seemed to split into nine separate attacks, so fast they seemed to be happening at once. (Ko Ryu Sen)
(assuming he gives up)
Theallas sheathed his sword smiling, "Very well Shadow Prince, I will go see if Aliria is awake."
"I said that I won't talk to you again except with the edge of my sword, and I'm a man who respects his word", says Jithail, raising Aranrúth again.
When he sees the fissure heading to the place where he's standing he jumps high in the air, being caught in the flurry of blows of Theallas second attack.
He wasn't prepared for so many attacks. He's faster than me, only my armor is saving me. The forged Golvarn-Mithril armor plates deflected several of the hits, and two of them were stopped by the edge of Aranrúth. However, one of them hitted the space between the shoulder plate and Kithail's body.
He falls to the floor. But he raises again, using his sword like a stick. Kithail cleans the drip of blood coming out of his mouth with the back of his hand. That was a good one...
He switched to a more secure two-handed grip, and charges Theallas, using his sword as an axe to break down his contender's defense.

I need to beat him now, if I don't, we are going to kill each other. Only one way now, all my special moves are exausted. Time for a sacrifice.
Theallas met the charge, stil using a one handed grip. As he blocked Kithails over hand attack, his two bladed sword was pushed back on to Theallas, cutinghim from his lower back all the way up to his shoulder. Theallas as he blocked drew the Wakizashi that he carried as back up, he thrust with all his might at the joint, on Kithail's sword arm, where the shoulder plate meets the body of the armor, Theallas was hoping that if e hit there, he would sever a nerve and incapasitate Kithail. The doctors can reattach a severed nerve, not a severed head.
Thealla's blow landed just in the tiny hole in the armor. The sword bites deep into Kithail's flesh, cutting inside the shoulder, the tip of the wakizashi exiting by his back. He didn't flinch, anyway, dropping Aranruth to the floor and punching Thealla's face with his armoured fist.
Then he retreated, leaving his sword on the floor. The wakizashi was buried deep inside his shoulder, and his right arm was useless. He draws a dagger from his boot, but his hand was already trembling. He says to his contender "Failure is not an option for me, Theallas, failure don't exist to me".
Then a female voice echoes through the training room, screaming in fear and anger "What are you doing?, Do you want to kill each other?. Out there are enough enemies of the Elven race for you wasting your energies fighting". In the frame of the door the silouette of Aliria contrasted with the sweating, bloodied warriors inside it.

Theallas was now supporting himself with his sword, using it as a chruch. "Kithail, please, stand down, I have been telling you the truth. Aliria is free to leave if she wants to. I have not kidnapped her, and I have never seriously contemplated kidnapping her. I would not do that, for her sake, stand down."
Theallas was hurt badly, most other people would have collapsed by now. He could feel his blood running out of his body, he also knew that Kithail probably was losing blood faster than he was. Kithail stand down or collapse of blood loss. Any longer and you might die

"This elevator trip is... A very long one.", says the Ur-Quan. The pain still blurs his instincts, but this is ridiculous. Who would have thought that using an elevator could take this long? Apparently Thelasians do very slow elevators, or then the Ur-Quan do very fast ones.

Netari looked at him, "It may explain that we are going about 1 mile under ground. In another couple minutes we will reach the main complex."
OOC: I am going to wait for Aelosia to respond, and then put everything into one massive post. I did not know that you could get a quatro-post
Aliria puts herself between the both warriors "Kithail, stop this madness, now!. Theallas is right, I'm here by my own will. He didn't kidnapped me, or harmed me. As a matter of fact he has been a very nice and respectful gentleman. Put down your sword. Damn, you're both badly injured, if I knew this was going to happen I will fight you both".
Kithail sees aliria with a sad expression in his face, pulling out the Wakizashi from his shoulder, a creek of blood running down his chest. "I already know that. His sword spoke the truth, but the taint inside it didn't let me to look inside its edge. You know something Theallas?, I can speak with swords, reading their wielder's minds through the blade. But that blade of yours was crafted in Angband, and I wasn't capable of reading your true intentions. I'm sorry, I attacked you without provocation. I was behaving like a child".
Aliria kneels down in the floor crying. "All of this is my fault. I wasn't here to stop you...".

Aliria kneels down in the floor crying. "All of this is my fault. I wasn't here to stop you...".
Theallas nods to Kithail, “It is partially my fault, I have become so good over the years at hiding my emotions and purposes, that everything was distorted.” Theallas turns to the officers that had gathered to watch, “Well, at least one of you has to be a medic, the rest of you, back to work!” Several Medics rush over, Theallas directs them to Kithail. The medics push him into a stretcher and try to take him off to med bay.
Theallas walks over to Aliria and kneels down beside her, “It’s okay, there was no harm done. Kithail will be okay, my medics will get him back into one piece.” Theallas puts and arm around her, “It’s not your fault, both myself and Kithail were acting like morons. He will be okay”
As this is happening, the elevator finally reaches the command floor. As the door opens, a massive control room is seen, only light by the computer screens, and the, now very dark, lighting. In the center of the room is a massive hologram of the earth, on it is displayed the location of every fleet and combat unit. It even displays the locations of Thelasian ships in space. Around the globe are red dots, each one linked to a description of them floating in the air. Netari speaks, “This is the main control room, from here we monitor every enemy, possible threat, and our own troops. We can readjust the hologram to show any part of space that we have a satellite or telescope viewing.”
Kithail refuses to be taken by the medics. "Take care of him first, let me go. I can keep it on". He pushes one of the medics aside. "You need help too, Theallas. You first"
Aliria hugs Theallas and kisses him softly, whispering in his ear "You better do as he says. He's sooo stubborn, and I'm worried about that wound of yours in your shoulder, you're losing too much blood".

Theallas returns the smile, "Well, if you insist, but I really.."
Kithail can see a medic sneaking up behind Theallas, the last thing he sees before a needle is stuck into his back (And a tranquilizer is injected), is a medic knocking Theallas out by the same means.
As the two of them drop off to sleep, and are moved onto stretchers, the medic looks at Aliria, and shrugs, “The only way we can get the two of them to both go to med bay is by knocking them out.”
The two of them are moved off to the medical facility on the base.
Aliria looks as the two men are dragged away by the medics "Men, I can't understand them. They're too agressive. However, this is the moment I needed. I can't tell Kithail of what happened. I better left this country quickly. I'm really in love with Theallas, but he will have to wait for me. I have things to do in Cyberutopia""

An officer looks at her, “Ma’am, is there anything I can do for you?”
In the mean time, Kithail wakes up to having no feeling of anything lower than his neck, and judging by the fact that everything above his head hurts, that is probably a very good thing.
The room around him is a normal hospital room, full of machinery, medics, doctors, he can see an IV tube coming out of his right wrist. The medics are running this way and that. Finally, his neck muscles are strong enough to see that the doctors are busily operating on his shoulder.
OOC: you do know that Theallas will probably go after Aliria if she goes? Then again, so will Kithail.
Aliria says to the officer "Yes, the ShadowPrince oredered me to search for several personal things inside his ship. Can you take me to his landing pad?".
Aliria says to the officer "Yes, the ShadowPrince oredered me to search for several personal things inside his ship. Can you take me to his landing pad?".
"Yes Ma'am, follow me!"
The officer leads her through a series of doors, most of them with security locks on them, finaly, she is shown to the landing pad, "Here you are. Want any help?"
Far above Aliria can see a flight of Interspetors flying a patrol, this will not be easy.
"No thanks, I know where to find the stuff. Oh, maybe you can go and bring me my papers, they're in the desk of my room".
When the officer leaves, she enters the little fighter (did you see cowboy bebop?). Quickly she turns on the system and takes off the landing pad at full speed.

OOC: no not yet, but I want to
IC: As she takes off, all hell brakes loose in the flight control room, namely, “Who the f---ing hell is in that fighter!”
Multiple Interceptors take off from the airfield nearby, they fly into an escort formation awaiting orders. They will not fire on the Princess, but they will not let her go.
In the mean time, the doctors have finished operating on Kithail, and have repaired the wound with a tissue growth accelerator. Theallas is up and walking, although, his left arm is not going to be doing much for a while. An officer runs up to him and whispers something, then “SHE DID WHAT?! And you let her go?! Okay, clam down, have the flight put a tracking bacon on her, without her noticing, and tell me where she is going.”
Kithail could probably guess why Theallas is yelling, Theallas walked over, “Kithail, does Aliria usually go into a hostile country without telling any one?”
In the mean time, the fighters drop back, as the one above her drops away, a piece of metal breaks loose and hits the fighter, then spinning towards the ground. Unknown to Aliria, a piece of metal remained on the fighter, tracking her moves.
Aliria was amazed. She was expecting more resistance from the fighter squadron, although she knew that her ship was faster. When the interceptors let her go, she was surprised "Oh, they must have put a homing beacon in the ship, this is too easy. Theallas is underestimating me. He shouldn't that with the person he loves. Once this ships enters Warp space, that homing beacon will be destroyed. I'm sorry Theallas, I didn't want to escape like this, but I didn't want to give you more troubles". With a roaring sound the fighter enters subspace velocity, dissapearing from view.
Back in Thelas, Kithail rose from the bed, pulling out the cables and systems attached to his chest "What?. Of course. She was alone in Diablo_NL when she tried to avoid the duel between you and Lady Sirithil, Don't you remember?. Not only she would do it. She would love to do it!. Damn, you people let her escape. We could track her to the end of the world and don't find that ship. It's almost undetectable!. Theallas...Did she tell you any clues to what planet she could be heading?, that could be our last hope", he says, standing from the bed. "Where the hell is my armor?"

“Your armor is by the bed. No she did not leave any hints, unless she went to, no she would not do that, well. She may have gone to Cyberutopia. The crystal that controls her artificial hand holds the soul of an officer who died in Cyberutopia, I said to me that it was going to use her as a tool to gain its’ revenge, and also to find his wife, Countess Lafiel.”
Theallas, while he was talking, had been getting his equipment, his two elven curved daggers, a tanto, a wakizashi on his belt, and his katana. At the last choise he paused, finally he grabbed the Angbad blade and tucked it into his belt.
“We can use an insertion dropship, we should be able to get in without too much trouble.”
OOC: We should get Cyberutopia in this RP now.
Kithail nods to Theallas, all the former animosity between he and the Thelas general was forgotten. Now the important thing was to find Aliria.
He picks his armor, starting to put it on. "Tell me the name of the fallen officer again?. If it was Rafiël, he's almost a legend in Aelosia. He died in Cyberutopia defending the elves even after the Aelosian goverment charged him for treason. I was thinking in giving him the Medal of The Fallen Hero. Cyberutopia is now under the control of a tyrant, but the last news were that Thelasian forces and Aelosian forces were engaging them. If she goes there, she will find troubles".
"I didn't know that Rafiël's soul was confined in a wraith stone. WHAT?, wait a minute. you said artificial hand. Why Aliria has an artificial hand?. The last time I saw her she had her both hands".

Theallas nodded, “Yes it was Commander Rafiel, he was concerned about his wife, and he wanted vengeance upon the Rebel Government. Ya my forces are trying to force a landing, but are having a hard time of it” Theallas was leading Kithail through the corridors to the launch pad as he says his last outburst, “It would be better if Aliria told you, that was the reason she did not want to come down at first. It really would be better if she told you.”
They finally reach the landing pad, sitting there is a shuttle, sleek and well armed, Kithail can see that on the side is what appears to be the vent pod for a cloaking device, “Hop in”
"I'm very confused", said Kithail with an strange expression "As far as I know, Rafiel died unmarried. He didn't have a wife or kids, and, yes, maybe you're right. Aliria owes me a lot of explanations".
He enters the shuttle, looking for some weaponry. Then he turns to Theallas again "Are you in love with her?. I really need to know that. Everything that happens to Aliria is a matter of state. And I'm like his older brother, we were raised together. So, if you want something with her, you will need my permission".

As Kithail posses his question, Theallas pauses in the pre-flight preperations. "Yes Kithail, I am. Aliria to me is the most precious thing in the world, more than my nation, more than my life. That is why I am sitting in a dropship that has never flown more than three feet off of the ground."
He turns back to his consol. "Particle Pistols are on the right, rifles are on the left."
"We will see that. If you prove to be prepared to give your life for her, I will approve". He walks into one of the weapon racks and picks up a rifle and two guns. "Let's get this circus on the road" he says, cocking the rifle.
OOC: We should move this to the thread "The resistance continues", by Cyberutopia.

(OOC: rest of this post is in "The resistance Continues" I will post it about seven 7:00 US Eastern (My time zone). By the way, what time zone are you in?)
OOC: I live in Venezuela, so...I think it's Buenos Aires time, the difference is just an hour with the US eastern Coast.
