"Alright."

She handed him the unfinnished sandwich and laid back, falling asleep.

Brian smiles at her then goes down stairs, grabs his new ax, and goes out side. He begains to cut the wood.

Brian fnishes cutting the wood and walks back inside. It begains to snow out side. "Savannah?" He yells.

Savannah wakes up, thinking something is wrong. She runs to the top of the stairs.

"What is it?"

"Calm down." He says as he pust his arm around her "Its snowing."

Savannah grinned.

"I've never seen snow before."

"Well now you will." He hands her some warm winter clothes "Put these on and we'll go out side."

She puts on the coat, hat, and gloves.

"All right. Lets go out." He says smiling at her. He walks out side waiting for Savannah.

She follows him. The cold stuns her for a mintue, then she looks at Brian, not knowing what to do.

Brian sees her staring at him. He smiles at her and then walks over to her and scoops up some snow and hands it at her. "This is a snowball. You throw them at each other."

Savannah tosses the ball and catches it, like a baseball, then she trows it at Brian's nose.

"Ow. You'll pay for that." Brian says playfuly as he picks up a snow ball and throws it at her.

It hit Savannah on the shoulder. She ran out into the snow.

Brian runs after her picking up snowballs as he goes and throwing them at her.

OOC: Dani, you here?

Savannah dodges the snowballs, and runs into the shelter of the trees.

OOC: Its ok.

IC: Brian throws snowballs at her as she runs.

She keeps dodging the balls, running in and out of trees.

Brian stops thrwoing them and runs after her. Trying to catch up to her.

She climbs a tree and hides.

Brian sees the tracks in the fresh snow leading up to hte tree "You know its kind of hard to hide where you go." He says as he looks up at her in the tree smiling.

"No fair! Cheater!"

"Its not cheating, its a handicaped." He says as he looks up at her smiling.

"Okay."

Savannah climbs down.

"All right. We can do some thing else. Want to bulid a snow man?" He asks.

"What's a snow man?"

"Ohh ya. You've never been out in the snow. Well its a bunch of snow packed together to look like a person." He explains.

Savannah giggles.

"I'll try."

"I'll help you. First you roll up some snow into a big ball."

"Show me!"

"Sure." Brian says as he starts to make a big ball of snow.

Savannah helped make a huge ball.

"Now what?"

"We'll we make a smaller big ball of snow, then put it on top of this one we all ready made." He says as he starts to make a ball.

Savannah grins, and helps.

"Having fun?" He says as he kisses her on the cheek.

"Yeah. I'm cold, though."

"We can go inside if you want." He says as he finises rolling up the ball and starts to put it on the last ball of snow.

"No, this is fun. How do we make arms?"

"We need some sticks or some branches from trees."

Savannah got the idea, and finds the branches.

"Put them in the sides and then we'll do the head."

"Okay!" Sticks in arms.

OOC: Got to go.

"Good." He says smiling at her. Then he starts to work on a head.

OOC: Bye Dani.

Savannah sits in the snow and watches with interest.

Brian finishes making a head then hands it to Savannah. "You want to put it on?"

*sits on the beach looks at the waves*

"No, you do it!"

IC: "Ok." Brian puts the head on the snowman. He turns to Svannah "We need some rocks, and some thing for a nose."

Brian goes inside and comes back out with a carrot. He hands it to Savnnah and says "Put it the middle for a nose."

Savannah puts it into the snow, then steps back, admiring the snowman.

"He needs a name . . ."

"Well, name it what you want."

"I don't know . . . You pick."

"I'm not good at names."

"How about . . . Chillingworth?"

"Good pick." He says as he puts his arm around her and kisses her cheek.

Savannah leans in to Brian, trying to get warm.

"You want to go inside and get warm?"

Savannah nods her head. She's way cold.

Brian walks with her inside and puts her infront of the fire place. He comes back with a blanket, and some wood and matches. He hands the blanket to Savnnah and puts the wood in the fireplace then starts a fire with the matches.

Savannah takes off her coat, gloves, and hat, then wraps up.

Brian goes into the kitchen, and comes back with a cup of hot co-co. He hands it to Savnnah, sits down next to her, and throws the blanket over both of them.

"Thanks, Brian." She said, then she began to drink the coca.

"No problem." He says as he puts his arm around her and watches the fire crackle.

She lays her head on his shoulder.

"I love it here . . ."

"Good. I'm glad you do." He says as he looks at her "I hope you don't ever have to leave."

"I won't ty to . . ."

"Ok." Brian says as he watches the fire crackle with Savnnah.

David's trance was shattered as the chill of snow decended upon him. He opened his eyes slowly. Rousing himself from the trance of his meditation, he started towards the cabin.

'If I keep meditating, I can subdue the need to kill.' He noted mentally, storing it away for a time when he needed the information.

He reached the cabin and entered without a sound. He smiled at the form of Brian and Savannah huddled together, and leaned against the wall.

Any urges recently? Kain asked him telepathicly, his presance in the room....but unknown where. He was silent.

'Yes...several.' David replied, also using what limited telepathy he had. 'I have stopped them though. They become more intense over time...'

Whiptail sits in front of the fire, staring into the flames.

OOC: Damn thing kept giving me a log-in error, sorry for not posting in a while.

Kain sent back a message to David. "Should you have an urge, just attack myself. I would be able to defend myself and try to ease your urges down."

"That, or I could cut your arms and legs off, that would make you unable to attack." Whiptail says without looking away from the flames, which he seems facinated by.

"Or that." Kain chuckled.

"I'd rather keep my appendages, thank you very much." David said to Whiptail.

'That should work, Kain, I'll do that if I cannot supress myself.' He sent back to Kain.

Kain nodded in a quiet and reserved way, and looked at flames, his mind working away.

Brian holds Savannah colse trying to warm her.

"I am trained in the art of unarmed combat, should you wish to vent your bloodlust through sparring." Whiptail adds. He drums his claws on the wooden floor.

"I will be leaving soon...as soon as I find out if Savannah wants to do, if she would want to continue or leave it as that." Kain said quietly, the flames casting it's light across him, creating shadows for breif seconds accross his face.

David joined them in looking at the flames. Beautiful tendrils of death, they were.

"Depends whose closest." He remarked.

"I shall keep that in mind." Whiptail turns his head towards Kain. "If you require any assistance with avenging your name, do not hesitate to summon me, I have little else to do these days."

"Avenging? I deserve this punishment, my own crimes I accept, I knew from the instant I did it, that it was wrong. It is better this way, I bear the Shentavos no bitterness. Quite the opposite."

Brian sees that Savannah has been asleep for ahile and he takes her up stairs and lays her on his bed. He lays down next to her, throws the blanket over both of then and then falls asleep next to her.

"I bear the Shentavos a great deal of bitterness, they are the reason I hunt their kind." Whiptail mutters as he subconciously drags his claws across the floor, drawing thin ribbons of wood behind them.

Kain turned his head quickly, troubled and curious.

"Why are you so bitter about the Shentavos? What crime have they commited against you? If you are to hunt the Shentavos...you would be hunting me in a way. I remain loyal to them...." Kain said, his words with hints of warning behind them.

"To be more exact, I hunt only two, named Daja and Rave. It is a matter of honor. You I have no anger towards. You use your curse to better yourself and others, like the female that came before. Others of your kind hunt the softskins in my hours of peace, those hours when no lgiht shines apon the earth."

"Honor? What matter of honor between you, Daja and Ravelyn. You do relise whom you face....Rave is a seraphim! Do you fully comprehend what that means? But...I know what honor can do to someone. One what grounds would you hunt the two?" Kain said in warning.

"Daja has corrupted an angel, something which cannot go unpunished. Rave is the product of such an unholy union, and cannot be allowed to live. I have fought with the two of them, and the one called Tempest, in the past. Tempest has not wronged me in any way, other than shooting at me. I bear no anger towards him. My honor and my religion drive me to hunt Daja and Rave." Whiptail says solemly.

"Corrupted? Who are you to judge vampirism as a curse? It is a curse and a blessing, not something born of evil or good. Just because someone may have something born of evil, should not mean that it will not bring good into this world. Daja knows this. Should a demon be born, it may do as it wishes, good or evil. Should it choose the path of good, should it be killed because it was bron from evil? No. The same logic applies to this. Daja knows that vampirism is a curse and a blessing, and whatever it's early alignment, good or evil, it can bring great good and great evil to the person. The difference between the two is choice. She chooses to doas she wishes, and she chose to become a vampire. She chooses to live a life in they way she wants to. She has brought more good into this world...than evil" Kain said with great passion and conviction.

"I am, or was, an Argonian warrior, I hunt and I kill. Until I witness her performing a feat of good after attacking me after I attempted to defend her and her friend from the pair of vampires, I will hunt her and her creator."

"Her records are long.....so long. I could tell you tales of how she saved me and my nation but I can tell you need proof with the presant. Go then...but go with an open mind. Judge her upon her actions, past and presant if you must." Kain said without malice.

(OOC Good recovery, thought you might splutter and die)

David watched the exchange between Whiptail and Kain with his usual detached interest, taking in the strong opinions of Kain, and the replies of Whiptail.

OOC: You might not believe this, but it's true. Check the 'No Angel' thread.

(OOC I will check that, and of course I am acting as Kain would, he has not heard about some of those events I think, so kain is just going on what he has seen and been told)

(Of course. Should I introduce a new character into this....perhaps I shall. What do you think. Kain will simply interact with this character....and leave soon after to speak privatly, which will still be in this thread. Do you think I should?)

OOC: I don't care, but you might want to switch back to your other nation, for purposes of keeping the two characters seperate. I'm thinking of doing that with Whiptail.

(OOC Sure, but this is not a nation....and I like this. I might just leave Velmora all together, simply as a background place. After all, Velmora cannot really speak right now in polotics due to thier events.)

Shar walked up through the forest, rather at peace in the abundant lushness of the forest. She walked quite contently, her backback giving off the accasional clink as something metal clanged against metal. She had all of her provisions, tent, tools, a few weapons, bible. She had been traveling for some time. She looked around as the birds flew overhead..the rain from yesterday making the soil slightly wet, but it was drying.

She continued to walk, her padded leather armour in places giving off noises as she moved. She was not worried. Nothing could harm her here. Or so she thought.

She had black hair, which had in places dirt in from traveling so long. Green eyes like small jewels she had, which had a certain air of innocence, but not complete. She was experainced of the world...well more than most Psi. Wearing green on most of her clothes, complimented her eyes and signified her rank as a Psi, not that many knew of such things. Velmora was rarely visited...let alone thier ways studied.

She did have something which did radiate a slight flicker of magic, her purple tattoos upon her face, just under her her eyes going down, and a mark upon her forehead. They did not ever get dirt upon them.

Shar continued to walk down the path when she felt something most odd.....a...a familer signiture...life sign. Yet it was nothing like what it should be. Many times a child of of someone had very similer energy signitures. This was a Psi...yet not. She was deeply curious, one did not find other Psi wondering outside of Velmora often. She took another few steps towards the sign, the night coming down upon her, the moonlight glinting off her polished scabbard for her scimiter.

"Yes....that is a Psi....I have met this person before....but the signiture has changed so drasticly." Shar whispered to herself involentaryily so much was her suprise. People's energgy signitures rarely change, and if they do it is extremely subtle. This....this was some kind of warping...of rearrangement yet still with the same core.

She walked a little further on, seeing a hut in the darkness. She gritted her teeth and walked slowly up to it. She breathed out and considered what to say...it would be most hard to explain. But she had to know out of sheer curiousity. Shar was a curious woman....she owed many of her talents due to it, and her lifestyle.

She knocked on the door twice, rather sheepishly not to disturb too much.

Kain continued to look at the flames...when he felt something. He soared into the skys and examined who the new person was. He was shocked of what he felt. A Psi! Here! There where those who wondered around...but....he could not be known now! It would be too much to explain....to deal with. It would cause too much damage.

"I am not here. This stranger must not know...." Kain said to them quickly without explanation and faded into mist....his signiture reduced but not gone. He lied around the shadows....hearing the knock on the door.

Whiptail draws a katana with the speed of a pouncing cat. He flips it so it is concealed by his arm, and opens the door. "Is there something I can do for you, softskin?" He asks in his gravelly voice.

Shar looks up in shock and takes a step back. She had never seen a lizard-man...what would she say?

"Well...this is kind of hard to...explain. So..I am going to ask it plainly...is there someone called Kain....Kain Brightblade in there? Please...this is rather important....to me." Shar asked sheepishly, her voice rather quiet as she looked at the floor some times.

"I know not of the one you seek." Whiptail answers. "Perhaps you would enter this fine house and explain what this person looks like to me." Whiptail walks over to a nearby window, and opens it so Kain can slip out.
He then seats himself at the table.

Kain left from the window and contined to watch....


Shar nodded and walked in trying to recall what Kain looked like.

"Well, he looks like a human...well I suppose he is in a way...he is a Psi. He should be wearing white robes....and the sword. A deeply powerful sword called....well I do not think I should tell you that...but if it might help....well he had brown eyes, black hair and is quite tall...he has quite a deep voice.....He is a wizard of sorts..." Shar said as she looked around quietly of the room. She felt Kainwas getting closer....it was definately him.

Shar kept moving her hands with anticipation...she seemed not agitated but eager and weary of what would happen if she did see him.

"He is definatly here....somewhere....." Shar said to herself quietly.

"I'm sorry, no one of the description that you speak has come here." David said, after being roused from his thoughts.

He looked the woman over. Yes...a Psi for sure.

(OOC tainly would know the difference. A Psi looks exactly the same as a human, it is just that they a phychicly different. You would never have seen a "normal" Psi before...few have. She simply appears to be a normal human with strange tattoos.)

"I am sorry....but I know you are lying....please....I must speak to him....it is important...." Shar pleaded, she desprately wanted to talk to him. She sensed he was close....she walked near the window.

Kain was having second thought, perhaps he should talk to her.....he decided only to reveal himself if absolutely nessciery. He needed to remain hidden to the Psi....

Whiptail plants the sword in the floor, in plain view. "I believe that I killed the one you seek in a battle in a distant land. Was he your lover?"

"W-w-hat? How could you! He...he was not my lover...I barely knew him. He was my ruler..." Shar said loudly and with great feeling.

"If you killed him....that means...that they lied....he did not die then back there....But it doesn't matter now....You killed him truelly?" She asked, her angry words in defence of him.

Kain viewed on...a few seconds more seconds...

"The description you have given me matches the his. I am sorry for your loss." Whiptail toys with the hilt of his katana with his tail.

OOC: Am I going too far?

Shar reached for her own scabbard and drew her scimiter. "Die!" She cried as she was about to attack, filling with loyality for the dead ruler of Velmora, who she knew little of his demise.

But a voice from the far corner of the room spoke.

"Shar...you seek Kain Brightblade?" The voice said to Shar.

She stopped mid wing and put her weapon to her side and rather shocked at the calmness of the voice turned.

"Yes..." She replied rather nervously....her voice shaky from the emotions she had just felt.

"As he said, Kain Brightblade is dead. But Kain still remains."

The shadow took a step forward an illusion coming over him for breif seconds, granting him the form of darkness apart from his eyes. His brown eyes glowed through the shadow.

"Shar...Shar Redwood correct? Raised in the Userwood forest and a Landkeeper. Apparently you have become a wanderer, as I expected you to Shar. You still retain your old curious nature and skill in magic. I am glad." Kain said, his form coming into true light, the cloak a deep blue. He smiled at her, but he did not reveal his fangs.

Shar recoiled in horror and strange fascination "Who...what are you? You bear the same...signiture as Kain Brightblade....are you his son somehow?" Shar asked, taking a step forward.

"No. I am suprised you do not recognise me. Still times are harsh....I am Kain Brightblade, once proud ruler of Velmora, once hero of the Peacekeepers, and once called Brightblade. I am now Kain Irenicus."

Shar simply stood at Kain, sobsorbing this new infomation as Kain cooly fed it to her. She was totally shocked....the long dead ruler who had apparently died or abandoned his old nation was standing so different now from his old billowing white robes and natural athority....no...he still retained that.

In a flash, Whiptail had his second katana at her throat, his first clutched in his tail. "I am not a being you would want to attack." Whiptail says in a calming tone.

"Put down your weapon...this has been a misunderstanding of momentous proporsion....I think this woman needs to sit down...." Kain said gently.

Shar was still in a state of shock in seeing the dead ruler ressurected in this form...she sheaved her weapon slowly. She sat down and constantly looked at Kain in fear and confusion.....

Kain smiled slightly in confort and sat down with her, giving her a few seconds to recover herself with the ideas....the possibilitys.

Whiptail sheathes the katana his tail held, lowering the one in his right hand. "Your ruler stated that you must not find him, so I tried to convince you that he was dead, ending your search." Whiptail states as he sits back down.

Brian wakes up. He gets out of the bed, heads for the bed room door, but then truns back and looks at Savannah, smilies at her then heads down staris.

He comes down the stairs and sees whats happening "What the heck is going on here?"

"It is none of your concern. Go back to your mate." Whiptail growls without looking at him.

Shar sat down and looked at Kain taking it all in, the green skin....the segemented eyes.

"Yes....I can see why...." Shar said quietly as she gathered herself. Kain simply stopped looking at her, smiling a little like a parent.

"Where have you been all these years Kain? Velmora needed you!" Shar said in desperation, years of these events coming out, all the quesitons she wanted to ask being asked.

"I shall start at the point which you already know about.....my resignation. I resigned that summers day. You remember that don't you Shar?" Kain said, his own memories coming back of that joyful day upon the field of grass blowing in the wind.

"Yes...yes of course I do.....who didn't? After you defeated Xzar, with that angel.....Rave. When you where still hurt after the battle?" Shar said in responce.

Kain nodded and closed his eyes and opened them again after a few seconds. "Yes...you remember. I resigned.....but before I continue....what where you told afterwards what happened to me?" Kain asked.

Shar looked at the desk....not really wanting to tell the brutal truth, but he knew she must. She looked there for a while.

"It is alright....take your time....." Kain said reassuringly.

"This is my house that I let you stay in so I think this is my concern." Brian says to him.

Kain turned to Brian, "My apologies. We shall not be here long...but I need to explain....explain what happened, the truth. If you grant us ten minutes?"

Whiptail simply glares daggers at him, his golden gaze seeming to bore into his soul.

OOC: Happy?

"I will give you 10 minuets and thats it. I will be back down then." He says as he walks back up stairs to Savannah.

Daniella found Kain talking to a female. She ignored the twinge of feeling that came . . . was it jealousy? She stood back, not letting him see her, but looking at the girl, trying to see what was going on.

OOC: What happened with Brian and Savannah?

OOC: Dani your in Brian's bed sleeping.

Whiptail turns to Kain. "Will that suffice, or should I jam the door?"

OOC: Damnit, Savannah is goingto die of sleep!

Savannah woke, and walked downstairs. There were a lot of people there, some she had never known before.

"It will suffice thank you." Kain said to Whiptail.

(OOC I have to go now so I will not be online for some time unfortunatly.... :( )

IC: Brian stops Svannah as he goes up stairs "We need to give them 10 minuites, thats it. Then we will come back down, ok?"

"Why? What's happening?" She asked.

"I don't know, but we just need to give them time for now, ok?"

Whiptail spins the katana absently.

Savannah nods. "If you say so."

"All right. Lets go up stairs and wait together, ok?"

Savannah nods and heads upstairs.

Brian follows her up stairs and sets on the bed waiting for Savannah.

Savannah looks at the bed.

"Oh, no. I refuse to sleep!"

Brian laughs then says "No. Were just going to sit on the bed."

She sticks out her tounge and pulls up a chair.

". . . No." :wink:

"Ohh really?" Brian says as he gets up and sits in the same chair as her, crouding it. "You think this is more confterable now?" He says as he laughs a bit.

"Yup!"

He laughs a bit and puts his arm around her then gives her a kiss.

Savannah grins.

"I'm starting tp think only you want me up here!"

"No, its just a bounse." He laughs and smilies at her.

"Sure, if that's what you want to call it . . ." She teased.

"Well what do you want to do till the time is up?" He asked sedcutivly(SP?).

"That's up to you." Savannah said, quietly and boldly.

"I'm up for any thing that will pass the time."

"What do you suggest?"

"Any thing." He says smiling at her annd holding her close.

"I've never had someone like you in my life before . . ." She said, feeling suddenly a little nervous.

"Thanks." he says shyly, still holding her close.

Her heart was beating fast. She didn't know what to do.

"Ummm.......So......How are yo feeling?"

". . . Tired." She said, trying to make him laugh.

He smilies a bit more at her and says "I thought you did nto want any more sleep?"

Savannah bit her lower lip.

"I was only jokeing . . ." She said.

"I know. I was being sarcastic." He hugs her close and gives her a small kiss.

Savannah grins and kisses him a little more.

He begains to kisses her more. Pulling her closer.

Savannah follows Brian's lead.

OOC: Keep this PG-13!

IC: Brian stops and smilis at her.

She looks at him.

"What is it?"

IC: "I just love looking at you." He says still smiling.

Savannah blushed. She reached over and got a pair of sunglasses off of his nightstand, and put them on his face.

"Don't! You'll go blind!" She teased.

He laughs as he takes off the sunglasses "I think I'll take my chances." He says as he kisses her on the cheek.

She covers his eyes with her hands.

"You lost that bet, mate."

She kisses him softly.

He moves her and from his eyes "But then I wounlt be able to enjoy your buety(SP?)." He gives her a small kiss.

She blushes even more.

"You are so . . ." she can't find the word.

"I'm so what?" He says as he gives her another kiss.

"Smooth."

"Really?" Brian says blushing "Sorry."

"No, it's not bad."

"Ohh really?" He says as he kisses her on the cheek.

Savannah gets off of the chair, smiling. She stands in front of Brian.

"Really."

"Thats nice of you." He says smiling at her. "I love you."

"And I you." She said, confidently.

He smilies at Savannah then gets up, walks over to her, puts his arms around, and gives her a kiss.

She kisses him back, soaking in the moment.

OOC: got to run. See ya!

Brian holds her close, smiling at her.

David watches the procession from the shadows, still listening intently. He shuddered suddenly, and was visible again. He gave Kain a quick, distressed look, and walked outside.

Kain simled a litttle in amusement at his disress and continued with the conversation awaiting Shar's troubled answer.

She looked up at Kain after a while of thought and came out with the truth as she was told. "Well, after you resigned...people began to say that you where dead....but then the Seer began to say differently. They said that you had...abandoned us....run away, helped by the angel.....is this true Kain? Is it?" She asked imploringly, wanting the truth.

Kain waited a few seconds before his answer. "In a manner of speaking I did both Shar. But I shall explain what happened after my resignation. I left for my private quarters, sick and a cripple from the fight. My body racked with pain, it was as though something was corrupting me....from the inside. During the battle, as Xzar's possessing spirit left Xzar, it passed through me....damaging me greatly and would have eventually turned me to some dispicable creature of evil...a demon perhaps. I do not know.....but I did not relise this was occouring. I went into my room, and there was Ravelyn....the vampire-angel. Shar looked on puzzled. She looked on at Kain now, and on first impressions, he looked like something born from evil...the apperance did give that sense...."How did she save you? Did it work?" she asked.

Kain explained further. "Yes....she drained the evil presance from my body, she was powerful enough to contain it and release it. As an envitable side-effect I became what you see before you. A vampire. But as she drained me of the evil presance....I became a slightly different vampire due to either the evil taint which was still in my body, or it could just be the effect upon vampirism upon the Psi. I do not know....I knew what would become of me. It was either to die by her hand, or be saved, than let myself become corrupted. "

Shar nodded and took in this new infomation, andasked another question, "What then? Surely you could have stayed in Velmora! Helped us through this.....without these events we would not be in so much conflict now!"

"Perhaps...but think about it for just one second how yourself and the people would react the Kain, the hero of Velmora turned into this? A vampire, a mockery of life and death to you. An eternal ruler, who is nothing like his people. No....they would not accept me, and I had no wish to continue my rule. Understand, I spent my entire life in servitude of Velmora. I did not wish to spent eternity continuing this burdan! I would see everyone I loved, every generation I would know and ee thier child grow up and die, and thier children and thier children! The pain would be too much....and also I could not channel. The earth would not lend me it's strength, so I would no longer be considered a Psi. Well....now that has changed oddly but at the time...." Kain said

"I...I suppose you are right...but why did you lie? Lie about being dead" Shar asked

"In a way I was. And it would be better for everyone that Velmora thought so....I would remain a hero, my legacy left to Jerrid and my new life as a vampire begun anew. Unfortuantly....I forgot one thing. The Brightblade." Kain said sadly.

"So you DO have it! You did steal the holy blade of the Seer!" Shar said in certain truimph.

"Do you even fully comprehend the forces which went into the making of the sword? The full power of it? It is no holy weapon, it is the exact opposite, an evil weapon under the guise of a holy weapon for many years to the Psi, acting as the Seer's puppet to which they could act directly upon this world. I unfortunatly did not know this....the Brightblade has already attempted to kill me before the sword came to an agreement with me. I would free it in return for....."

"For what Kain?" Shar asked

"That is for me to know, and you to discover. I have already told you enough. Regardless, the sword is better away from Velmora, the Seer has resorted to lies and deciet to manipulate Velmora? And from what I have heard...there is a civil war within Velmora! I already know the reasons, and it grants me reason enough to do what I will. You know enough now about me....now, what to do with you?" Kain asked himself....

Shar looked on slight horror as he relised what Kain meant. If she where to speak to Velmora about the truth....who knows what would ocour? The magnitude of these events seeped into Shar, before she walked into that hut, she was a simple woman who wandered aorund the world! Now she found herself launched into this world of heros and fables! To actually meet Kain was an honour and an immense experiance....but to actually effect the course of history...to effect the fate of a nation so drasticly....it was beyond her thought!

"I could kill you....but I shall not. What I propose is a geas." Kain said plainly and without anger or spite. It was more scary due to the callous nature in which he said it, due to the implications of a geas.

"Surely....surely there be some other way? Why must I keep silent about the truth?" Shar demanded.

"Because the truth is not ready to be told. It shall be told....and perhaps it shall be told by you one day. But not now. They are not ready for these revelations. A geas then is required. You know what to do...." Kain sid and put his hand out.

She slowly put hers out, her hand trembling. Thier hands locked for a few seconds and then they released....the geas done.

"There. You know what will occour if you break it." Kain said, acting like nothing had happned.

"Yes Kain....I know. But what do you expect me to do now? I cannot exactly remain as I was....I cannot now!" Shar said to Kain, she honestly was lost now.

"Give yourself time to think this over......" Kain said to her as he left ther sitting down.

Daniella left in he middle of the argument, horrified. Kain had done something horrible, apparently. She didn't want to hear any more. She didn't want to believe it.

"So what do you want to do till we can come back down?" He asks Savannah.

"I dunno. What do you suggest?"

"Any thing that will pass the time."

She grinned. "Lots can be done to pass time."

"What?"

"We could see who can . . . Never mind, you'd laugh at me."

"No. Please tell me. I woulnt laugh at you."

She blushes.

"We could see who can do the most outlandish stunt."

"Like what would we do?"

She smiled and walked to the bed. She got on, and stood on the headboard, and jumped down, landing on her arm.

"Stupid stuff like this."

"Lets be careful not to hurt our selves." He said laughing a bit.

"Some of us can heal ourselves."

"Some of us can't." He said smiling at her.

"I could heal you . . ."

"Well lets still be careful." He said as he goes up and gives her a small kiss.

"Careful isn't fun!"

"Ok. I guess we should start." Brian pics her up and runs around the room with her.

"Hey!" She said, laughing.

"What you don't like this?" He said laughing "All right then." He throws her on the bed and jumps down next to her.

"No! The evil bed! It's got me!" She said, pretending the bed was a monster.

Brian laughs then says "Well get on me then I can hel[ you can excape it."

She rolls over next to Brian, then climbs on him gently.

"Now I can't move!" He says joking, then he pulls her close and gives her a kiss.

She smiles.

"So the ploy was to get me on top of you?"

"Mabye, mabye not. Well see soon." He gives her a small kiss.

She kisses him a little faster.

"And if I try to escape?"

He puts his arms around her, pulls her closer and gives her a kiss. "Thats why I have my amrs around you." He says laughing a bit.

"Hey! Not cool!" She says, laughing, trying to wiggle free, but not succeeding.

He holds her tighter. "Where are you trying to go?" He says laughing a bit then gives her a small kiss.

"I haven't decided. You?"

"I'm staying here," He says "Becuse your here right now."

"Oh, really now?"

"Really." He say as he gives her a kiss.

OOC: Enough skirting. Something has to happen!

She bends down and kisses him softly.

Brian holds and kisses her softly, not wanting to stop.

She takes off her shirt, and looks at Brian.

"This is who I am."

"I would love you either way." He says as he kisses her sofly.

Kain walked away from her and turned to Daniella, Shar could not hear thier conversation.

"Everything is now fine....that women might even change the course of history knowing what she knows now. But not until the right time....I have made sure of that." Kain said simply.

David walks slowly into the main room of the cabin. He appears to be much calmer now, having regained control of himself. He looks over the Psi again, feeling a deep interest in her.

Daniella, who had only heard part of the conversation, looked at Kain with worry.

"Is it true? You stole the sword?"

"Well, in a way I proberbly have. Considering the damage it would continue to do in Velmora, I have done them a favor in taking it from them. True it can be a tool of great good, but it was a tool for maipulation from the Seer. Now that the Seer have apparently gone insane, having a weapon of such power to effect the world and it's people would not be a good thing. Yes I stole it from the Seer, but it is a far less crime than it would eb then to let them have it. And regardless, the demon hates serving the Seer, it prefers serving itself through me." Kain stated without a hint of conscience, only his own view of justification of his actions.

"You are so good to me, Brian.""Thats becuse I love you." He says as he leans up and kisses her.

Daniella nodded.

"Kain, I must leave soon, but I don't want to. I have a life to save, but I fear."

Kain outsreached his own head and turned her head gently so that she would look at her. He simply smiled warmly.

"Do not worry....give yourself time....." Kain said softly to her, barely a whisper of comfort.
