This is an alternate world history based on the nations of NS. Tried to set up a webaddress over the weekend but know little about web programming.
This is to set up the world history. You can put your nations history here and what time period it fits in.

To begin:
Prehistoric NS Earth:

Mesozoic Era (Age of the Dinosaurs)
Tiny shrewlike creatures appeared that lead to modern mammals and primates.

60 million years ago: the first bloodsucking fleas appeared.
44 million years ago: the world's first primates appear in modern day southeast asia (Myanmar).
42 million years Shangians, tiny primates the size of your thumb evolve in the central part of South America.
The Shangians would later survive a meteor impact that should have made them extinct but that they ended up surviving due to a rip in time and space caused by the accidental time travel of a Whittier interdemensional craft. They would eventually evolve over the millions of years into modern shangians (still thumbsized), fairies, and elves. (For those of you who have fantasy nations).
Eosimians appeared at the same time but in the Baltic region of Europe, and because they were affected by the same events eventually branched off into modern Eosimians, Hominids, and Dwarfs.
All of this happened 5 million years before the giant mammals of earth prehistory became extinct.

Since some of these primates became NS nations, alternate history takes a divergent path during this time period from Real history in that these primates continued to evolve into our time period and eventually established their own "nonhuman" civilizations and nations. These will be the first cases of divergence except that at this time, the primates are still too stupid to figure out even basic tool use.

33 million years BC: the primate Aegyptopithicine appeared on the scene in the continent of Australia. A small fruit eating primate with a lemur like snout.
The nickname of the species is "Dawn Ape" because it was thought at the time that he was the world's first primate. His contemporary was the tiny three toed horse Mesohippus.

24 million years BC: The worlds oceans were the most unsafe since the Mesozoic as they were prowled by Megalodon, literally a shark the size of a humpback whale.
By this time primates had spread very rapidly from South East Asia and Egypt cover most of the old world. Everywhere you went there were primates and you could not avoid them.

23 million: The first primates made it into the main area of East Africa.

20 million: Morotopithicines appear in Australia.

20-18 million: Proconsul apes appear on the Italian penninsula, Kenyapithicines appear in the Indus river region of South Asia, Ramapithicines appear on the island of Sri Lanka, and Sivapithicines appeared in the amazonian part of South America. They were well on the way into becoming hominids that would lead to modern man.

15 million years BC Equatorios appears in the southern part of South America.

10 million years the species Ankarapithicines appear on a much enlarged Christmas Island that takes up 10% of the area of the indian ocean.

6 million years bc the hominid species Orrorin Tugenensis appeared on the continent of Africa.

4.4 million yearsBC the species Ardipithicus appears in Southern Africa.

4.2 Million Years BC, the most famous human ancestor, Australipithicinia became the first hominid human ancestor to appear in North America.

All these primate have evolved and non of them can even figure out how to use a stick.
Ankarapithicines came into contact with Dryopithicines. The first contact between members of two different hominid species.

While the others still walked around on all fours, the newest species Australipithicine became the first primate to walk around on only two legs.
Australipithicines have demonstrated a rudimentary self awareness. They were very curious creatures often investigating things only to fall into traps.

In 4 million BC however, a strange black rectangular monolith appeared in low earth orbit. (We saw it during our mission.)
It is ironic that appearance of this mysterious extraterrestrial object coincided with the discovery of tools by the Shangians, Aegyptopithicines, Kenyapithicines, Ramapithicines, Sivapithicines, Rudapithicines, Dryopithicines, Ankarapithicines, Orrorin Tugenensis, and Australipithicines. Graphings shows that 2/3 of all hominids on the earth simultaneously (but mysteriously) discovered primitive tools. Even the ones that weren't supposed to.
This is an important junctur as the discovery tools was an important path toward becoming civilized. But they still had a ways to go before the first cities were to be built and meantime. Much evolution and inventioning had to take place.
But by this time, everyone was pretty much walking around with sticks and stones.

In 3.5 million BC a new species of hominid arose in Asia where modern Iran is. Kenyathropus. They were the first born with the ability to sticks and stones as simple tools.

3 million years BC: Paranthropus appears for the first time in Australia (Northwest coastal area).
By this time, most of the primitive hominids in existence, except one (Paranthropus) had primitive tool knowledge.

2.6 million BC:
In an important advance, as far as hunting goes, the art of stone flaking was discovered by Aegyptopithicines, Kenyapithicines, Dryopithicines, Orrorin Tugenensis, Proconsulia, Equatorios, and Kenyathropus.
Stone flaking produced a sharp edge which tended to kill prey more quickly than just throwing rocks at it.
2.5 million BC: Homo Habilis (the first man) makes his first appearance in the region of Central Europe. Homo Habilis is the first of the homo class of hominid which includes modern humans. He is also the first direct ancestory of modern man. Many of his features were similar to those of modern humans.
In the same period, the Stone Age begins when simple stone tools such as needles and such are invented by the Kenyapithicines, Proconsulia, Kenyathropus, Ramapithicine and Ankarapithicines. Thought they have this stuff, they are still mindless let alone they are not even aware of themselves yet.
2.4 million BC: Homo Rudolfensis appears for the first time in South America (southern coast of Chile). He is the second of the Homo genus to appear.
2.33 million BC: Homo Hadaris appears for the first time on an enlarged Sumatra Island off the coast of Australia.
1.8 million BC: Homo Erectus makes his debut in Africa. (on the coast of Angola).
1.7 million BC: Acheulia first appears in North America. (southwest coast of Mexico). It is only the second the race to appear on the continent which Australipithicine had all to itself for a couple of million years. It is a subculture created by H. Erectus in real life.
The first step toward politics is taken when culture is invented by Orrorin Tungenensis, Rudapithicine, Sivapithicine, Australipithicine, Morotopithicine, Dryopithicine, Ardipithicine, and Paranthropus. Putting them on the road to self awareness. Meantime, all others are still just animals.
Bifacial tools are invented in Australipithicines, Mortopithicines, and Ardipithicines.
Personal Ornamentation is invented by Australipithicines, Morotopithicines, Ardipithicines, Dryopithicines, Paranthropus, Equatorios.
Cave Art is invented by Morotopithicines, Dryopithicines, and Paranthropus and primitive pictures of primates hunting mammoths and hand prints begin appearing on cave walls.
1.6 million BC: Fire is discovered by Mortopithicine and Paranthropus.
Homo Ergaster appears for the first time in North America (northcentral mexico.)
Oldowan culture appeared for the first time in Europe (France).
1.5 million BC:
The hand axe is invented by Morotopithicines, Paranthropus, Equatorians, and Sivapithicines independently. As wars weren't to come for another hundreds of thousands of years, these axes were used for chopping down trees and for hunting.
Advanced Tool tech was invented by the Morotopithicines.

800,000 BC:
Homo Antecessoria first appears in Asia in the southern Caucasus region of the present border area of Turkey, Iraq, and Iran.
600,000 BC: Homo Heidelberges first appears in Central Africa.
500,000 BC: Homo Sapiens finally appears on the planet in the area of asia (in the northeast coast of Saudi Arabia.)
400,000BC: Neandertals first appear in Asia. (area of Jordan/Syria)
A rudimentary form of speech is developed by Paranthropus, Equatorios, Sivapithicines, Aegyptopithicines, Kenyapithicines, Rudolfensia, Dryopithicines, and the Ankarapithicines. But because it is rudimentary, their speech sounded a lot like modern baby talk. But it was the first step toward what we know as language and human speech.
At this time a technological bottleneck appeared as many species including Paranthropus, Equatorios, Sivapithicine, Aegyptopithicine, Kenyapithicine, Ardipithicine, Rudolfensis, Kenyathropus, Dryopithicine, Ankarapithicine, and the ancient Eosimians joined the Morotopithicines in developing advanced tool technology. Ironically, it was this same time that several of the species developed rudimentary language.
Homo Habilis makes first contact with Proconsul.
400,000bc to 380,000BC
Articulate Speech (the mother of all languages) is developed by the Aegyptopithicines.
Equatorios makes first contact with Rudolfensis.
300,000BC
Orrorin Tungenensis reaches the east coast of Africa.
Toothpicks are invented by Aegyptopithicines, Rudolfensis, and the Morotopithicines.
