Applying for the Chemistry prize:
Some scientists have put together a new material with which you can make pencils, pens & the like. Have you ever chewed on the end of your pencil out of boredom, curiosity, anger or anything else? And then looked at the pencil and said "oh no, now it's all ruined"? Worry not, because now, thanks to breakthrough research, you can actually EAT your pencil, with no damage to yourself. The findings are based on the practical experiments conducted by Pilon and many of the subjects are based on actual events.

James Grovsky, one of the leading minds in Pilon's Chemistry Field, has developed a new Cybernetic Arm. The Arm utilizes a new nanomer that is capable of shifting its shape when given commands from the Cybernetic Impant's host. The Arm can change shape to anything that is the same size as the origanal but it capable of altering its chemical makeup to most of the most common alloys and polymers. The applications for such technology is staggering.

A group of Scientists have collectively discovered a new theory to replace Einstein's theory of Relativity. The theory makes no prior assumptions about the universe as Einstein did. Using this new theory the scientists have begun to reconstruct the laws of physics and have found the new theories to be just as accurate if not more so than the old ones.

E.L.F. Enterprises developed the first self-evolving quantum computers which, through rapid quantum electronic evolution, became the first sapient (self-aware) artificial intelligences.
Application for the Medicine Prize
Using some of the technology already in widespread use throughout Pilon several Doctors of Medical Research have developed a new treatment that gives manual control of the patients sirtuins, the enzymes that are the universal regulators of the aging process, to the patient through a cybernetically implanted chip that is connected to their brain. With a mental thought the patient is able to determine whether or not he will age physically. The developments are quite promising.
The nation of Pilon submits that there should be some additional fields added to the list. If you are not interested in adding new fields fine but if you are interested we could discuss it.

Dr. Diablos the Despot, Emperor of Scientism along with several of his assistents has formulated a theory which unifies all the four forces (EM, gravity, weak, strong). This Theory of Everything has been experimentally proven by Prof. Zanatar.

Joint Application for Peace Prize
Ambassador Jeffrey Williams, Larkinia's Ambassador to Iansisle was instrumental in trying to avert a war between Imitora and Daezeman over Imitora's arrest and subsequent execution of a group of elves from Daezeman. Williams was assaulted during his legal research in Imitora, but did not allow the injuries he sustained to keep him from presenting his case to the presiding judge. Imitora did demolish Daezeman later, but Williams was in the hospital due to injuries received at the hands of his own government during the recent presidential election.
Williams has also worked to keep the peace in Iansisle while various groups and supernatural beings (i.e. a Dragon, vampires) tried to kill him. He was threatened with death in Effit while checking on his friend King James of Iansisle, who suffered an injury in the country.

Larkinian President Takeo Katana was the chairman of the first Developing Nations Conference, and was vital in trying to keep this conference moving forward. He has time and again spoken up for human rights and political freedoms, moving up the chain of governmental command until he became Minister of State.
He ran against General Michael Grant III for president of Larkinia. During this election, his campaign was attacked by various goon squads employed by the government at the time. He called for restraint and non-violence, and at the time Ambassador Williams was wrongfully imprisoned, he also spoke out about an illegal arrest and extradition to a national leader intent of executing him.
For both of these men's actions and words to help advance the cause of peace, justice and protection of those who are unable to defend themselves, we would like to submit this joint application for the NationStates Nobel Peace Prize.
