What denominations of money do you have? I have to give credit to Shemlock for the idea. :D BTW, if you want to customize your money, look to Shemlock's thread here (http://www.nationstates.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=59968).

All coinage and bank notes is handled by the Ministry of Finance, more specifically, the Zeronian Mint and the Zeronian Junior Mint.

Interesting - probably no one will care, but here goes.

Sunset's Official currency is the Di-Coin, so called because it is minted of two metals, platinum and gold. There is an inner circle of gold, varying between 1mm and 4mm deep and 1cm and 2cm diameter depending on the value of the coin. A outer circle of platinum doubles the diameter of the coin.

The coins themselves are avaliable in denominations of .05, .10, .25, .50, and 1 Di-Coin for small coins, and 5, 10, 25, 50, and 100 Di-Coin denominations for large coins. The smaller coins are generally alloyed with nickel, while the larger coins are either unalloyed or only slightly.

Since that amount of precious metal in circulation gets ridiculous the banking system handles most transactions over 100 Di-Coins. Banks back up at least 10% of their holdings with coin, though this is enforced by the consumer, not the goverment. Minting of coins falls under the 'law and order' portion of the budget, and coins are atomically marked so they cannot be replicated.

The mint actually maintains an entire SBG that finds and exploits deposits of these two precious metals. It is one of the few 'unnumbered' SBG's, as to avoid piracy.

Bedistan's base unit of currency is the bakrani (symbol: þ, exchange rate: þ1.00000 = US$0.62914). There are 100 cents in a bakrani.

Coins:
penny (þ0.01)
nickel (þ0.05)
dime (þ0.10)
fifth-piece (þ0.20) -- not in heavy use
quarter (þ0.25)
half-piece (þ0.50)
double-niner (þ0.99) -- The purpose of this coin is to make it easier to pay shopkeepers who insist on making stuff cost þ9.99 instead of þ10 just to make it look cheaper. (Note that sales tax is automatically included in shopkeepers' prices in Bedistan, so if it says þ9.99, it actually is þ9.99.)
piece (þ1.00)
double (þ2.00) -- not in heavy use
V-piece (þ5.00) -- used very rarely

The primary currency here is the nu-yen... We mint coins in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 50, and 100 nu-yen, and mint bills in denominations of 1000 nu-yen through 10000 nu-yen.
