A female news reporter stands infront of a packed street which glows with the light a huge bonfire lit in the center of the mob which are cheering, roaring with delight and chanting "Long Live the Empire!"

"Good evening this is Sanya Grigoria reporting from Zelgado avenue in Gothmog city where one of a thousands of such festivles are occuring empire wide. Today after a long discussion with Adivisors the President General announced a scheduled and anual burning of books that lie and stout facist anti-iraqstani propeganda to the masses and accused of corrupting the children of Iraqstan. All books containing anti-iraqstani, anti-dictatorship propeganda are being burnt empire wide with thousands if not millions of citizens celebrating what the President General called a liberation from the facist and corrupting lies of the democracies!

Appearing earlier the President General was the first person to throw a book onto the small fire which soon erupted into a huge blaze of books, journals, news papers and novels. Books containing the law of democractic and corrupt verses aimed at corrupting the youth and weak minded of Iraqstan are being rounded up and burnt."

Behind the woman the crowd roars in response to another 500 books being thrown from balconies onto the blaze in the center with that a hushed silence comes over the crowd as a man wearing the uniform of the Iraqstani Military steps onto a balcony.

"A quick update from this scene it seems the president general has come to speak again..." she stops as the President General begins to speak.

"People, children and loyal citizens of the empire! Tonight you witness the first step in Iraqstan's evolution! We will walk as one nation! into the shining and bright lights of freedom from democracies, freedom from corrupt regimes and freedom from the oppressive demands made by democractic nations! Today Iraqstan breaks free!

The motherland will expand the heartlands will thrive the factories of war are once more pounding the way to a united and secure Empire! no more are we divine! We are the Holy Empire! We will unite under the banner of the enlightened we will unite under the banners of Iraqstan! We will enlighten those which have rejected us in the past!

We are blessed we are supreme we are greater than the vermin! The filth of Um Lizaa will be enlightened! these vermin will take the call of the empire! they will know their places! the world shall tremble at the united and secure might of the holy empire!" as he finishes the crowd roars in aproval and begins chanting "Long Live the Empire!" over and over as more and more books are thrown onto the fires the blaze grows bigger until it fills the sky with a red tint. The camera focuses back on the balcony where the President General continues to throw book after book onto the fire and salutes his people.

The reporter looks back to the camera "This is indeed a patriotic and heart felt time in the holy empire with a flag change and now an enlightened change to the people the ways of the old will give way to a new and stronger empire with the President General our glorious and devoted leader at the head the path we walk will turn us from withered and filth ridden to vermin free and superior. The President General sit at his desk in his office the Iraqstani flag standing behind him. Dressed in his formal military uniform complete with honour swords and pistol he places his hands neatly on the desk clears his throat and begins to speak.

"As of 5 hours ago the following government sanctioned laws will be enacted through out the Holy Empire, all citizens will recognise and act to these laws immediately and effectively. The first list of laws concern the inferior and illegal citizens from Um Lizaa now residing inside Iraqstani borders. All Um Lizaaian citizens must wear an identifying patch on either their shirts or pants, said identity patch must be worn at all times when outside, and at times when Iraqstani native citizens are found inside Um Lizaaian houses. Any Um Lizaa citizen in a high ranking business position must resign or accept a lower ranking position. No Um Lizaaian citizens are permitted to run or manage a business inside Iraqstan.

Um Lizaaian citizens are banned from using Iraqstani owned amusment parks, recreational facilities and publicly owned terminals. Any Um Lizaaian citizen found harboring books, songs poems and other artistic writings, images and lyrics portraying Iraqstani Government, peoples and ways of life as wrong, evil and corrupt will be arrested and detained for a minimum of 3 days. Repeated offenses of above mentioned content will face trial and if found guilty of perversion and treason will be sentanced to a minimum of 5 years imprisonment and a max penalty of Death.

Secondly, any and all Non-Iraqstani/Um Lizaaian citizens inside Iraqstan will be requested to have identifying papers with them at all times or face deportion or confinment to local embassies. Thirdly any and all books, images, news papers, song and other written sung and painted items depicting myself the Iraqstani Government and Iraqstani people as immoral, wrong, corrupt and unholy will be burnt or deleted from Iraqstani possesion. Such burnings will take place weekly until all inferior and corrupting items are destroyed or removed from the pure's reach.

Fourthly military service will remain un-needed except in the event of military invasion upon sovreign and enlightened Iraqstani Soils, any military actions taken against the Iraqstani Military will be met with superior and decisive force by Iraqstani Forces.

Fifthly, any citizens of Iraqstan found harboring terrorists, rebels or other illegal, inferior and disgusting vermin of the empire will be arrested and charged with treason and attempted inciting of rebellion and summarly executed.

These laws are hereby passed by The President General and thus are law any and all who are found opposing these laws will be prosecuted to the full extent of Iraqstani Laws. Hail the motherland! Glory to The Empire!"

"People of the motherland, island states and the holy empire, today marks another advancement into holy enlightenment of my people.

The following laws have been approved by the Iraqstani government and thus have become fact and must be followed.

Any Enlightened and native Iraqstani owning a high-end business is granted government sanctions to expand over um lizaaian owned businesses, any Um Lizaaian businesses found in high influence must be handed over to Iraqstani managers.

Work force Industries are now regimented into military control and thus become extensions of the Iraqstani Military, any rebels or riot rousers in said industries will be targetted for judicial and fedrel prosecution. Due to recent foolish activities by their government kanedian citizens are here by classed as illegal immagrents and will be deported effective imediately.

Any Um Lizaaian found not wearing their identifying patch will be arrested and detained for 3 days.

Military production is here by ordered to triple in face of recent aggression to further protect sovreign and enlightened soils from incursion by vermin.

All military industries are given top priority and all available workers currently attending re-education camps and placement in industry regiments will be sent to military production sites.

The Führer sits at his desk hands folded neatly on the table and behind him the Iraqstani flag portrayed proudly, in the background a chanting can be heard the words "Long Live The Empire!" repeating over and over by thousands of the last organic ground troop forces the Special Iraqstani Guard. Smiling Carlos nods to the camera and speaks.

"To the international world, the people of Iraqstan, Um Lizaa and the chain island programs today a new set of laws are to be carried out immediately.

Firstly. Any books containing paragraphs or sentances depicing the Elf Godess Sirithil as evil, oppressive and corrupt are to be burnt immediately any citizens found in possesion of such books will be detained for 3 days and fined 10,000M€. Repeat offenders will face full judicial punishment up to and including Execution.

Secondly. Religious worships in public facilities are to be restricted to the worship of the Elf Godess Lady Sirithil any non-Sirithil congregations will be disbaned by police force and offenders fined. Repeat offenders will face full judicial punishment up to and including six months improsenment and religious re-education.

Thirdly. Due to recent rebel and terrorist cells feeling it honourable to detonate nuclear devices on enlightened soils freedom of speech is here by restricted until terrorist and rebel cells are disbanded and justice bought to their inferior lives. Until such time anyone caught speaking out of line will recieve a full Investigation by Special Investigation units and detained as long as nessecary.

"Good Evening this is Sally Carmine of INN. In a military press conference the Iraqstani Defense force released to the public their research project code named Project Darklance. Project darklance was a secret research program to design and create a nuclear powered stealth bomber to extend Iraqstan's touch into the next generation of powered air craft. Having fulfilled the design requirements Project Darklance is now rumoured to be in full production mode with a prototype constructed and being tested. What Project Darklance holds for the future of Iraqstani Air craft? perhaps a new and innovative power and speed for interceptors and fighters for the next generations.

In other news rumours are spreading throughout Um Lizaa of strange aircraft being seen in the skies near military airfields and research stations so far the Iraqstani government is denying these claims as miss-interpreted aircraft flights and has claimed that the only aircraft project currently running is Project Darklance.

Further suspision was placed on the IAF when a civillian flying from Um Lizaa spotted a strange aircraft flying along side the passenger jet a few meters away and below it. Quick thinking on his part enabled the passenger to take a photo of the craft as it banked away towards one of the Iraqstani Air fields in the area. The image follows."

"The Iraqstani Air Force has denied any existance of the above craft and are claiming it to be a hoax saying that the image is obviously trying to spur up suspision of Iraqstan using Um Lizaaian soils for tests in what they call a clearly hostile enviroment.

Last night Führer Quil'raya may he live for ever, announced to the holy empire the official start date of the period of mourning for the soldiers who lost their lives in the mediterranean war. Over 100 sailors and pilots died in that blood thirsty fight and the Führer calls recognition by the international comunity to the sacrifices made by the troops of the pure and enlightened in an attempt to eliminate a hostile threat and restore peace and stability to the war torn area.

"After the reports from INN the IIN checked with it's sources inside the Führer's military command and has unveild the strange fightercraft seen by the civilian is infact a new Iraqstani Fighter project.

Hinting at IAF announcing such a project in the following days has caused a riot among the press and the Holy Imperial citizens are once again looking to the skies in the hopes of spotting the latest enlightened and pure system to come along.

In other news the sub-dimensional morocco formerly owned by the vanished nation of FiK has formally and officialy declared itself a member of the Holy Empire, peace keeping troops are standing down with local police enforcement and iraqstani government heads arriving in morocco to coordinate and prepare the nation to total enlightenment and acception into the heirachy of the holy empire of Iraqstan.

Rumours suggest the remaining FiKish loyalists were deported to nations known for their standings with FiK and morocco is now firmly under Holy Imperial control this is indeed a fine day for the empire."

"Good evening ladies and gentlmen I am Lieutenant Commander Carleth Von'Lichten technical head of the Iraqstani Air Force research division, you might be aware that a few days ago we announced our latest project codenamed Darklance well today we announce the first steps of a new fightercraft to aide in defense of holy imperial soil. This new craft will most likely be outfited and positioned in the newly setteled morocco state to aide in national defense and air security. The project we have named Project Starflier consists of an innovative air craft design and reverting back to more traditional engine systems that being said project starflier will have no nuclear power or nuclear weapons capabilities for the forseeable future.

We have assembeled a few images of the project but will not be releasing it's statistical data as of yet. The plan behind project Starflier was to have a universal airframe and system that could accept and launch any weapon in the world as well as use any radar system, flight system and other important systems from around the world. Succeeding greatly with Project Darklance and it's technological advancement the Iraqstani Air Force research division took another step into the wild and designed Project Starflier.

There will be a more thourough explanation of this craft closer to it's release date but estimations project Project starflier to have a much greater stealth ability than current craft and a greater manueverability than is yet to be seen. thank you."

Project Starflier is to be a pioneer air craft for the moroccan national security with an estimated 50 of them going to Morocco to substitute over-taxed support units already there.

After accepting membership into the holy empire Morocco requested aide in upgrading it's internal police forces and maintaining security from surrounding nations and the Führer in all his wisdom and enlightenment accepted. Incorporating Standard systems found in other advanced aircraft the Project Starflier enhances and advances into the next generation of aircraft. Project Starflier was designed and approved to give Iraqstani Air Force an aircraft capable of accepting any and all other world equipment, weapons and protection systems in an attempt to lower maintenance costs and hassles of wrong parts.

A detailed specification of de-classified parts follows.

Wings

The Starflier is a Hydraulically actuated, variable-geometry cantilever mid-wing monoplane of blended wing/body design. Wing sweep varies from 5º (unswept) to 70º (maximum sweep) with wing span being 57 ft, 0 in and 30 ft 7.5 in respectively. Unswept gross wing area (wing only-excluding canard) is 385 sq t; exposed wing area is 282 sq ft. Aspect ratio varies from 8.5 unswept to 1.95 fully swept. Wing sweep is automatically controlled via a Mach Sweep Programmer (MSP) with manual override. The mean wing airfoil is a modified NACA 662-215. Wing dihedral is approximately 0º. Wing incidence is approximately 0º

Wing structure consists of two Ti-6A1-4V titanium and one Elgiloy cobalt-chromium-nickel alloy spar, fifteen titanium ribs, and multiple graphite/titanium stringers. Titanium face sheets are mated to the spar/rib structure, forming a titanium fuel tank. Wing skins are IM9/RP-46 graphite. Wing leading and trailing edges are graphite/aramid with titanium. Each wing is equipped with full span leading edge slats and trailing edge, double-slotted Fowler Flaps for lift augmentation. Maximum trailing edge flap deflection is 65º. Leading and trailing edge flaps are actuated by Bertea/National Water Lift hydraulic cylinders. The wing is equipped with 0.20c flapperons for subsonic roll.

Each wing incorporates four stores pivot hardpoints; two rated are at 5,000 lbs carriage capacity at +9g, one is rated at 3,000 lbs carriage capacity at +9g and one is rated at 1,000 lbs carriage capacity at +9g. Each wing features three hardpoints which are plummed for external fuel carriage. Standard external tanks include 370 USG and 600 USG types. Stores pylons pivot automatically to align all stores with the streamline throughout the wing sweep envelope. Wing sweep is limited to 35º with full stores complement. Jettison of inboard wing store permits full wing sweep, thereby limiting each wing to three stores stations in the fully swept position. Wing sweep lockout controls inhibit wing sweep beyond 35º with full stores complement.

Fueselage

The Starflier fuselage is a semi monocoque alloy and composite structure composed of three modules. Consisting of the forward fuselage, mid fuselage and rear fuselage, the fuselage modules employ triple redundant construction composed of an alloy spaceframe core, a graphite unibody and aramid body panels. Critical fuselage loads are distributed equally amongst the alloy subframe and the graphite unibody.

The alloy subframe (Ti-6A1-4V titanium, 7075 aluminum, 7050 aluminum, Elgiloy and PH 15-7 stainless steel) provides a solid mounting platform for all critical airframe components and a fatigue resistant, design load carriage structure. The graphite unibody (IM9/RP-46) provides fuselage form definition and unitary structural integrity. The aramid (Kevlar 49/RP-46) body panels provide aerodynamic definition and combat damage tolerance.


CANARDS

The Starflier canard foreplanes are all moving, variable incidence units. Each canard is located abeam the top of the aircraft shoulder air inlets. Leading edge sweep is -32º and trailing edge sweep is -51º. Canard span is 6 feet with canard area and aspect ratio being 33.75 sq ft and 1.066 respectively. Canard mean airfoil is a modified NACA 65A0045 section. Canard dihedral is 3º. The canards are a cantilever structure composed of three titanium spars and eight titanium ribs.

Incorporating titanium stringers, canard skins are aerolastically tailored graphite/epoxy to prevent departure. The canards employ graphite/Kevlar® leading and trailing edges with titanium backing. Canards may be operated collectively for pitch control, or differentially for assisted roll authority.

EMPENNAGE

The Starflier empennage consists of a cantilever V-tail mounted at a 55º dihedral angle. Empennage Leading edge sweep is largely 52º, with component sections varying from 40º to 82º. Empennage span is 12 ft, 6 in with unit area and aspect ratio being 114.85 sq ft and 1.36 respectively. Empennage root airfoil is a modified NACA 65A0045 section, with root incidence set at approximately 1º. The empennage configuration was selected to provide directional control while compensating for varying pitching moments associated with wing flap deployment and variable geometry static margin effects. Compensating for a close-coupled arrangement, a distinctive notch in the empennage accommodates the wing throughout the complete range of wing sweep. Yaw, pitch and roll control is provided by ruddervaders, acting collectively for pitch control , independently for yaw control and differentially for supersonic roll control. The ruddervader tip contains antennas/warning receivers. Construction consists of four serpentine IM9/RP-46 spars, titanium ribs and IM9/RP-46 skins.

POWERPLANT

One Checna Advanced Turbofan, with afterburning, powers the Starflier. The turbofan is mounted in a modular, universal engine bay capable of accommodating alternative powerplants of a similar thrust class, including the GEAE F136. The turbofan features a low -observable, axisymmetric thrust vectoring nozzle and Full Authority Digital Engine Control (FADEC) with hydromechanical backup. Self start capability is provided by an Allied Signal G250 APU.

JP-8 fuel is supplied via a pressurized fuel delivery system composed of nine independent fuel cells, including seven, self-sealing stainless steel fuselage tanks and two self-sealing titanium wing tanks. Total internal fuel capacity is 17,835 lbs. Standard Aircraft Design Weight internal fuel load for Air-to-Air engagement immediate upon departure is 10,670 lbs.

Fuel tanks are fitted with tear-resistant self-sealing cells lined with reticulated foam. An On-Board Inert Gas Generation System (OBIGGS) is available as a customer option. A single point refueling interface is located on the lower fuselage, while gravity refueling may be accomplished via two gravity feed ports on either side of the top fuselage. Provisions for in-flight refueling include a dorsal fin integrated Universal Aerial Refueling Receptacle Slipaway Installation (UARRSI) and a left fuselage mounted retractable in-flight refueling probe, allowing the Project Starflier to receive fuel from either flying-boom or probe-and-drogue tanker aircraft.


AIR INTAKES

Powerplant mass flow is supplied by a dual air inlet system. Airflow for optimum subsonic, high AoA performance is supplied by a ventral pitot inlet. Airflow for optimum supersonic, high performance cruise is supplied by twin, shoulder mounted, bifurcated internal compression variable shock inlets. The air intake system is capable of delivering mass flows greater than 380 lbs/s over a range of Mach numbers in excess of Mach 2.8. Developed to maintain high pressure recoveries, the inlet system serves the demands of the Starflier Checna powerplant.

COCKPIT

The Starflier cockpit is configured for single pilot seated on a Martin Baker MK16 zero/zero ejection seat. Developed to assure reduced pilot workload, the cockpit is pressurized using an AiResearch air conditioning system. Standby pilot oxygen is provided by a Litton molecular sieve oxygen generating system (MSOGS). Incorporating a single piece bubble canopy, 360º all around, 13º over-the-nose and 40º over-the-side visibility is provided. The canopy is of iridium coated, frameless, clamshell type, electrically pivoted upward and aft for cockpit access. The canopy is defrosted and purged of precipitation using a perimeter high pressure, hot air system.

Featuring a HOTAS flight controls arrangement, the Project Starflier man/ machine interface consists of a centrally mounted control column and full deflection, pilot adjustable rudder pedals. Displays and instrumentation consist of traditional analogue and advanced Full-Color, Multi-Functional Liquid Crystal Displays. The Project Starflier pilot's primary visual reference instrument is an Ericsson EP-17 Head-Up Display (HUD) offering a 20 x 28º Field-of-View with color raster video.

Secondary visual referencing is accomplished via four LCDs (including a 6 x6-in, 6 x 8-in and two 9.5 x 10.5-in displays) and nineteen analogue flight and reference instruments. Facilitating both VFR and IFR operations, the cockpit is designed to comply with Generation 3 night vision standard and operability with Helmet Mounted Cuing Systems (HMCS).

AVIONICS

The Starflier features an advanced integrated avionics system, incorporating proven operational capability and leading technologies. A modular platform, the aircraft was developed to incorporate a variety of avionics as Line Removable Units (LRUs). Avionics integration is performed by Stavatti as per customer requirements, although the Block 10, Preferred Weapon System Configuration is noted. All Project Starflier avionic systems are integrated via a MIL-STD-1553B Interface/Data Bus.

The aircraft radar and weapons fire control system consists of a Presidential Systems Company AN/APG-79 multi-mode radar unit. Aircraft flight, navigation and communications avionics consist of the Litton LN-100G Ring Laser Gyro INS/Embedded GPS (for basic navigational data and primary attitude reference system), the Rockwell Collins AN/ARN-153 Advanced Digital TACAN, Rockwell Collins AN/ARN-112 or Rockwell Collins ARN/ALN-147 ILS, Rockwell Collins ADF receiver and HSI, Rockwell Collins AN/ARC-210(V) or Rockwell Collins AN/ARC-186R airborne transceiver, Presidential KY-58 TSEC secure voice system, AN/APX-76V interrogator and AN/APX 111 or AN/APX-113 or Litton AN/APX-109 IFF transponder, intra-flight data link and additional units. Pending Availability, IAF/IN Project Starflier will be upgraded to benefit from an integrated comm/nav/ID system produced by TRW designated the ICNIA TRW AN/ASQ-220. The aircraft incorporates provisions for a Lockheed Martin LANTIRN externally mounted sensor/designator package including an AN/AAQ-13 navigation and a AN/AAQ-14 targeting pod or integrated Presidential ATFLIR.

Data processing functions are accomplished by 20 computers. The Computers are grouped into four functions: avionics, flight control, aircraft subsystems and central integration. The Core System Mainframe (CSM) integrates aircraft systems management and serves as a back-up to all peripheral systems

Additional computers include: one central computer (CC), one Mach Sweep Programmer (MSP), one Aircraft Integrity Analysis Computer (AIAC), three Central Air Data Computers (CADC), one Peripheral Performance Computer (PPCC), four FBW/PBW Flight Control Computers (FCC), three Mission Computers (MC), Enhanced Stores Management Computer (ESMC), one Tactical Environment Computer (TEC) and three Systems Integration Processors (SIP). The aircraft benefits from approximately 2.3 million lines of C++ code.

The Starflier is equipped with a Cockpit Video Recording (CVR) system as well as a crash survivable Flight Data Recorder (FDR), an onboard fatigue monitoring system, a crash survivable Crash Position Indicator (CPI) and a crash survivable Underwater Locator Beacon (ULB). A Halon replacement agent is employed for avionic system fire suppression.

LANDING GEAR

The aircraft employs hydraulically actuated, retractable tricycle landing gear. The main landing gear consists of independent, trailing link units which retract rearward into afterbody empennage integration fairings. Nose landing gear retracts forward. Main and nose landing gear utilize single wheel units. All landing gear units employ carbon fiber disk brakes and nitrogen charged oleo pneumatic shock struts. The landing gear is capable of unprepared, forward operations and sink rates of 24 ft/s. Maximum landing gear deployment airspeed is 300 kts.

The utility hydraulic system is responsible for normal landing gear operation. In the event of failure, either the primary or utility hydraulic systems may be cross fed for landing gear retraction. Nose landing gear may be gravity extended and mechanically locked and main landing gear may be pneumatically extended and locked in the event of complete system shutdown. An arresting hook suitable for land based recovery is provided. An arresting hook is not necessary for carrier operations. Wheelbase is 15 ft 8.5 in. Project Starflier wheel track is 9 ft 8 in.

SYSTEMS

Primary Project Starflier systems include Flight Control, Hydraulic and Electrical. The Project Starflier flight control is implemented via a Lockheed Martin Control Systems (LMCS) quadrupleplex, digital Power-By Wire (PBW). The flight control system provides control of the aircraft through the movement of the primary control surfaces. Primary control surfaces consist of ailerons, all moving canard foreplanes, all moving empennage slab sections, spoilers for DLC, and a Pitch/Yaw Balanced Beam Exhaust Nozzle (PYBBEN) dependant upon customer powerplant selection. Deflection of control surfaces is achieved by the control column and rudder pedals. Yaw control is achieved through independent deflection of empennage slab sections. Pitch authority is controlled by symmetrical deflection of canard foreplanes and empennage slab sections. Roll authority is achieved at M= 0.85 through aileron deflection and through differential deflection of canard foreplanes and empennage slab sections at M = 0.86. The PYBBEN will actively augment pitch and yaw control authority.

The Project Starflier Hydraulic system The hydraulic system is rated at 4,000 psi and 72 g/m. Hydraulic power is necessary for wing sweep, landing gear actuation, air inlet control, nose wheel steering, wheel brakes, speed brakes, emergency electrical power generation and some flight control actuators. Hydraulic power is supplied by two, independent systems designated as the primary and the utility system. The system is redundant such that in the event of failure of one system, either system is capable of supplying power for wing sweep, flight control operation and landing gear deployment. Hydraulic power for each system is provided by engine driven, variable delivery pumps. Pressurized accumulators are installed in the system to supplant engine-driven pump delivery during transient hydraulic power requirements. Piston type reservoirs are provided for hydraulic fluid storage and surge damping for return line pressures within each system. To insure critical pump inlet pressure for all operating conditions, the reservoirs are pressurized with nitrogen.

The Project Starflier electrical system supplies 115 volt, three-phase, 400 cycle AC power and 28 volt DC power. Four independent sources are used for power generation consisting of a primary generator, auxiliary power unit (APU), batteries and a secondary generator. AC power is supplied by a single powerplant driven Sunstrand 90 kVA AC generating system. DC electrical power is provided by 28 Volt transformer-rectifier units and four 24 Volt sealed cell batteries

"We apologise for interrupting the movie but breaking news from downtown Gothmog City where earlier on the Iraqstan Independant News station fell victim to a catastrophe on parr with the nuclear attacks on Iraqstan and Um Lizaa.

The corporate Headquarters of the supportive and loyal news company fell victim to faulty equipment in the editing room which mixd with paper, and other flamable fluids caused the entire building to errupt into flames fire services were slow to respond due to a car crash in a chemical plant which caused an estimated 2,000,000M€ in damage to the surrounding buildings. The Fire int he chemical plant took most of the Iraqstani Fire Department to quell leaving only reserves and a fire engine to battle the IIN corporate fire which sadly consumed the entire building killing 30 and leaving a further 100 jobless.

Investigators are also claiming factions of the Iraqstani/Um Lizaa liberation comittee are claiming responsibility for this attack claiming as they say 'An attack on the corporate fist of the Dictatorship' Investigations into these claims are under way with promises of swift retribution should the terrorist parties involved be found responsible.

"Good evening this is Carl Molov of Imperial News Network, in the last 6 hours there has been a devestating attack on the Führer's residence in um lizaa where it seems terrorists infiltrated the security measures and fired a rocket propelled grenade at the top floors of the palace where it was rumoured the führer was residing after returning home from morocco.

Live Sentancing of Criminals

The camera turns to a large regal courtroom draped in the colours of Iraqstan in the center of the room sits a large polished wood bench with what could be identified as a throne behind it. Behind the large regal seat stands a life size emerald statue of the Lady Sirithil at various corners of the room sit smaller statues of the elf goddess all emerald and gold the room itself vibrates silently of power, regalness and.....fear.

People file into the room and stand at attention waiting patiently to the side a door opens and three Special Iraqstani Guard walk out dressed in the standard uniforms of the elite Brandishing their new weapons they snap to attention. A man stands up and clears his throat and shouts "All heil the mighty Führer!" and then salutes the proper fasion arm in the air hand flattened.

The courtroom is filled with the sound of people standing and saluting and chant "Heil the Führer!"

Carlos walks in dressed in regal clothes of the pure he nods and salutes his people before seating himself in the large regal throne like chair.

"you may be seated, this court is now in session."

Severl hours pass where charges are listed and the fourteen men guarded by yet more Special Iraqstnai Guard sit heads bowed listening as they are accused of the most hateful of crimes...Treason, attempted assasination and crimes again the pure.

No defense is offered since these fourteen are already guilty of these impure and disgraceful crimes. The prosecutors give their case to an attentive and somber Führer who only has to silence the crowd once the entire time.

After the case is laid out the Führer sits back and contemplates finnaly clearing his throat he speaks.

Your bodies will be displayed in the vaults of the vermin for all to remember that crimes against me are crimes against the pure!

Your executions will take place 3 days from now you have until then to abstain some slab of purity as insignificant and small as it may be you have this chance to remove some disgrace from your families.

My word is law and as such is beyond contestation, this council has ruled."

Carlos stands and nods to the courtroom before leaving to a chant of "Heil the Führer! Long Live the Empire!"

"This is Tanya Saloriv of Imp(N)News confirming that today the thirteen Public Security Service Directors and Führer Quil'Rayas head of security were officialy sentanced to death by lethal gassing. The Camera pans to the Square of Enlightenment in Gothmog City where Carlos stands dressed in a formal Iraqstani Uniform flanking him are 30 Special Iraqstani guard officers and behind them another 20 Public Security Service officers around the square are patrols of People's Militia all decked out in formal uniforms the Crowd roars with appreciation and as one chant "Heil The Führer!" Carlos steps up to the podium and begins to speak.

After long and tireless decision making I your Führer has stepped back and will grant mercy to 20 prisoners for political crimes! These 20 have been granted a second chance at life! Military Releases new combat rifle and declares project Starflier a go

"After many months of research and designing the IRD section has unveiled it's latest conquest of science and combat effectiveness, I give you the LR-55 Plasma rifle and the LCR-58 Plasma Carbine both next generation assault weapons of the new age.

"Good Evening this is Natasha Marliv of Imp(N)News reporting breaking news today concerning our beloved Führer, Carlos Quil'Raya. The enlightened and honorable Minister Muhamed Saeed Al-Sahaf is conducting a live statement to the nation concerning the status of our leader. We'll take you there now."

The picture turns to an official government press room, camera focused on a podium behind which the flag of the Holy Empire hangs in banner style.

Minister Al-Sahaf enters the room, to a standing ovation of cheers and cries of support from the reporters and other government officials present.
He makes placating gestures, waving them to be seated. When all is quiet, he begins.

"My fellow countrymen, People of the Holy Lands, I come before you now to reveal happenings most dire concerning our beloved Führer and the recent terrible actions that have temporarily taken him from us."

"It would seem our enemies are prepared to use ever more wicked and disgusting ways to strike at us. We have discovered undenieable proof that our beloved Führer was indeed struck down in cold blood, not by his own hand as previously thought, but by a deceitful, treacherous band of Um Lizaan vermin."

Gasps of suprise echo through the room, and faces harden in anger while others show a look of suprise.

"In his generous efforts to show mercy to the tainted ones, he allowed talks between himself and these dogs, and was paid for his kindness with daggers and lies. Nathicana sat back after watching the broadcast, tapping the end of her pen against her lips thoughtfully.

"Not a bad piece of spin if I do say so myself. Now to see how it all pans out."

She picks up her laptop, and leaves the waiting room where she's been monitoring the news. Carlos, she had tried to keep sheltered from current events til he had the strength to better deal with them. Joint Orbital Shipyard project announced to the holy empire

Earlier today the Iraqstani Defense Department in conjunction with the dominion of the Dread Lady Nathicana released plans for a joint orbital shipyard program that is intended to begin construction in the next few months. Military Releases formation of Special Unit Air/Space force and construction of hypersonic aircraft

Formed to give Iraqstan a dominant strike capability any where in the world the SUSAF or Specuial Unit Air/Space Force is comprised of the latest generation air craft produced by allies and the mother land herself.

This tactical unit comprised mainly of fighter/bombers and interceptors will become the first line of offense in any holy imperial military campaign, designed to reach any part of the world without refueling this unit can fly in and pound enemy defenses and aircraft with ease. We will now cross over to military command where they are announcing the release of a new aircraft."

The screen turns black for a moment with the Iraqstani flag displayed whilst connections are made and secured then the screen returns to showing a man dressed in an Iraqstani Military uniform he clears his throat and begins to speak.

Sirithilia Bombed: Terrorists Destroyed.

"Good evening this is Natasha Marliv for Imp(N)News. In the last few days it has been released that a group of terrorists attacked and destroyed the district of Little Sirithil in a daring attack against the Führer.

It has been released that the terrorists stole and used a nuclear warhead from an Um Lizaa weapons depot two days earlier. Security missed the warheads travel due to over-taxed resources along the Iraqstan/Um Lizaa waters.

Once getting the warhead into the capital city the terrorists then assaulted the secondry square of enlightenment and managed to detonate the warhead in the center of the square. The resulting blast destroyed all of the district and surrounding areas including a nature reserve home to some of the world's most dangerous creatures. "

"Total destruction is estimted to be in the billions of M€ with a death toll of 1.2 million and rising. The Führer whom was listed as among the dead has been reported alive and well in one of many military command centers around the country. Military patrols have been doubled in the aftermath of the attack and all Um Lizaa residents are being questioned for possible ties to the terrorist group that attacked the capital.

Air Raids on Resi Corp deemed Successful. Iraqstan pulls out of hostilities. Resi Corporation Declared non-existant

"Good evening this is Natasha Marliv for Imperial News Network. Earlier this week the Special Unit Air/Space Foce (SUSAF) partook in an allied action against the verminous Resi Corporation. After the Resi Corporation troop crawler purchased by the Iraqstani Government exploded killing 80 special forces units and 12 children.

Reparations were requested by the government under the hopes of enlightenment and stability between Resi Corporation and Iraqstan. Unfortunately Resi Corporation deigned to accuse the holy empire of fraud and faked up multiple recordings of a troop crawler exploding under water and claiming it was shot from inside the crawler. Unfortunately the troop crawler Iraqstan bought exploded in a test facilitity in Iraqstan herself.....

With refusal to grant an investigation into the situation Resi Corp was warned and promptly refused to acknowledge any claims and even suggested it actively took espionage actions against Holy Imperial military. With that in mind a formal decleration of hostile relations was invoked.

Following a military meeting the Führer in his esteemed and pure enlightenment gave the go ahead for the first combat run of the SUSAF's hypersonic attack aircraft which paved the way for Iraqstani dominance. Their mission was deemed successfull with the bombing of a Resi Corp holding station.

After still refusing to pay reparations for the 92 people killed the Führer announced that The Resi Corporation were officialy unenlightened vermin and hence forth removed from the acknowledgement of existance by the Enlightened peoples of The Holy Empire of Iraqstan. He also urged the leaders of the international community to follow suite and remove such defiling and disgraceful vermin from their existance and move one step further towards total and complete enlightenment.

African campaign produces results

"After a series of heated debates and offers by Iraqstani delegates in the African colonies the nation of Libya has finnaly agreed to join the Holy Empire. With government officials handing rulership over to Iraqstani Govenors the Führer himself was present for the formal ceremony in which the Holy Empire took total control of Libya and began fortifying and positionting Libya's own militar units in standard Iraqstani Defense grids.

Requisitioning for the Libyan army has begun with the first of 50 Starflier aircraft being shipped out along with 20 attack helicopters. Plasma rifles are being manufacturered to rearm the military as well as naval assets being shipped out.

Once compelted the Libyan army will become yet another extension of the Iraqstani war machine and yet more production sites will open up further enhancing the economical superiority that is the Holy Empire.

On economical news the gold mines in Um Lizaa have officialy opened production with tonnes of gold being mined and sold for current market prices introducing yet more monetry input to the Holy Empire's overall economic value. House sales in the motherlands have tripled in recent times due to the mass exodus from Sirithilia after the nuclear attack. Officials indicate that in ten years time the radiation levels will of subsided enough to allow people to once again inhabit the bombed sections and outlaying districts.

Sirithilia itself remains lightly populated as underground complexes become more and more popular with surviving residents. Industry has taken a significant hit in the area with prices dropping drasticaly over the empire which in turn has caused a sharp tax rise throughout the empire. Economicaly the Holy Empire is still a superior power but with the added strain of takeing care of troubled citizens the government is looking towards offering mining contracts to international peers to shore up funds.

Experts Estimate Food shortage in five years

"Good evening, this is Natasha Marliv for Imperial News Network. Earlier this week advisors to the Führer for agriculture and foods released official figures indicating that the Iraqstani food supplies will run out in exactly 5 years in result of the current rate of birth in the holy empire.

As such the Führer has indicated that he is discussing possibilities of limiting the number of children per family to help ease the strain of food lines in the motherland. Officials in Um Lizaa and the Military Island of Isla Quatio have been reported as offering surplussed foods to the Motherland to ease their taxed supply chains.

Experts also indicate that the nomadic and isloationist lifestyle of the Iraqstani people is the cause for the suddenly dwindling food supplies in and around the Holy Empire. Also released this week was a new civil project to reclaim and fertalise land spaces in and around major agriculture and food centers around the motherland.

Project Land Reclamatio is rumoured to consist of millions of square acres of land in which compeltely automated watering systems, fertalising systems and collection systems are being designed to self-sufficiently run a food distribution center for the motherland. Experts indicate that the food prjected to be harvested from the center will greatly ease the strain on Iraqstani lines.

In other news Libyan military groups have formally declared themselves loyal militias of the Holy Empire and are being integrated into the law enforcement agencies inside Libya. Reports from libyan borders indicate a strong friendly presence to the Holy Empire in surrounding nations with moroccoa, tunisia and Algeria reporting secured Iraqstani zones.

The countries of Niger and Mali are rumoured to be extending friendly trade lines to Holy Imperial Algeria and Libya with diplomatic representatives rumoured to be leaving Holy Imperial estates in the area to extend diplomatic talks to the nation leaders.

Gold mines in Um Lizaa are proving to be profitable sources of monetry support in the taxing economic stall with new veins being discovered and producing far greater amounts of gold than first anticipated. Oil and silver mines in the motherland are reporting doubled production margins with profits steadily rising back to last financial year averages.

Taxes are rumoured to be nearing a steady decline in the following months with more and more housing contracts up for sale. Local Sirithilia scientists are performing radiation clearing techniques on radiation affected zones near little Sirithilia to attempt to speed up the decontamination of the surrounding areas caused by the terrorist attack seven months ago.

In sport the local baseball team the Little Pointy Ears have won their second season in a row putting them at the first team in history to win two seasons in a row. Weather for the Motherland is a dry and sunny summer day with highs in the 45 centigrade and lows in the 30 centigrade. Rain is expected in the coastal regions in the coming week with seas reaching 1m highs.

Empire's borders closed

"Good evening, this is Natasha Marliv for Imperial News Network. Shock rides freely on the faces of Iraqstanis and other citizens of the holy empire as today the Führer announced the Years of Isolation in a speech at the Square of Enlightenment in Sirithilia.

Footage of the speech will be played in a few minutes after the report. All over the Holy Empire military personal are stepping up security presences and intelligence agencies are rumoured to be once more scanning and decoding the information lanes for any hints of threats against the Empire.

Borders are being closed and non-Iraqstani citizens are being escorted back to planes and ships bound for their respective countries. Iraqstan will disappear from the international scene in what experts are calling a return to the basis of faith in order to find perspective and continued faith in the deities of the Holy Empire. Also stated by Military officials is the continued active use of Zelgado Space Station by The Dominion of Dread Lady Nathicana and the Empire of Treznor during the Years of Isolation.

The Colonies of the Empire are reportedly upping border patrols and turning back tourists and traders from all but three trade routes. Tourists in general are being told to turn around and head home with promises of reimbursments by Iraqstani governments when the proper claims are lodged. Is this the end of the Holy Empire? Holy Empire Erupts into Civil war.

"Good evening, this is an emergency braodcast by Imperial News Network. In the last few hours most of you will know of the civil uprising by local cultist groups The Cult of Firefury, The Eternal Church of sirithil and the Church of Angelus. Firefury cultists in Um Lizaa tainting the proud relationship Iraqstan has had with the Immortal Shogunate have begin staging riots and attacks on military bases and embassies of outside friends.

Attacks on the Lavenrunz embassy have so far been unconfirmed but reports indicate a rocket attack has been made and currently a firefight is happening. In Iraqstan herself thousands are battling each other in the streets as military units turn on civillians that saw them as friends. Rumours from hijacked news lines indicate chemical attacks by Iraqstani bombers which have been confirmed by military sources.

Thousands are reported dead with yet more rising up and demanding their rights to freedom and that Firefury herself demands they have their freedoms restored. Accusations of attrocities at the hands of Iraqstanis are flying about with claims of extermination camps being found and evidence linking to them being recovered from destroyed facilities being out right denied by military officials inside the government.

The Führer asks all citizens to calm down and not give in to such inferior and unenlightened actions as fighting the rightful and correct government. Demands have been made to head leaders of each religious group to back down and the Sirithilists as always have shown loyalty to the Führer and are no longer attacking other groups. The screen fades to the Iraqstani flag which flickers slightly as reception slowly begins being eaten away by fires and lack of power. A few minutes pass and Carlos' face replaces the flag. Behind him wisps of smoke can be seen from the city and the Iraqstani flag appears peppered with bullet holes. Clearing his throat he begins to speak. "People of the Empire, citizens of the International community and fellow leaders. I come before you now at the most gravest of circumstances. You all will know of the decleration of isolation I enacted a few months ago. I am before you today to tell you that no more is that an issue.

All around the Holy Empire women and men are being killed by murderous traitors who hide their treasons behind the name of The Cult of Firefury. The traitors of um lizaa defile this loyal pact of people to Her Majesty Firefury Amahira of The Immortal Shogunate. Economic stability returns to the National Socialist Empire

"Good evening, this is Nataylia Medalyua for Imp(N)News. Earlier today economist specialists released statements of economic stability returning to the fluctuating economy of Iraqstan over the past few months. Tarifs on nations previously considered allied are being lifted over the next day and a half with total free trade between nations expected to return fully tomorrow.

Exiled peoples are once more moving steadily into outsider held parts of Um Lizaa as more and more are classified as unwanted and exiled to the barren wastes of the immortal shogunate colony for them. In a previous press release the Minister for Arrogance and the Minister for Information released details pertaining to the former existance of the Empire of Eternal Dawn. Confirmation of the stated burnings of documents has begun with fires lighting up the most out lying reaches of the empire.

Military strength has once more returned to normal with the elite units of the Holy Empire once more showing fear to the would be attackers of the world with their resiliance and ability to bounce back after extreme attacks. The Führer himself is still un-scathed from the recent civil war with a group of snipers killing his cheif tactical advisor infront of him. Claiming to be a warning shot the terrorists are yet to be located but blame is falling squarely on the Imperialist movements of the Immortal Shogunate and their support of the terroriost Amanda Amahira.

The Führer calls this a'Blatant disregard for honoured agreements between all parties involved' and vows that justice will be bought to all involved in the terrorist movements. Civilian contracts have been handed out for this years, subsidised business program with companies such as Iraqstani Oil and Quil'rayan computers recieving increases in allowance with new research grants and a new oil field being opened.

In the out lying colonies the people are rejoicing at the end of hostilities with celebrations ranging from Morocco to Libya rejoicing openly and burning books of Um Lizaan origin. An overall high moral is reported in every part of the Holy Empire with the now secured and protected civillians of Um Lizaa enjoying added protection and saftey from death at the hands of terrorists.

The weather forcast for this week is blessed with rain in the coastal regions to eliminate the last vestiges of the harrying drought that has hampered food production and caused the threat of food shortages ever closer.

Sandstorm wreaks havoc on Sirithilia

"Good evening. This is Natasha Marliv for Imperial News Network. Earlier today the capital of the motherland was blasted by a history breaking sand storm. Winds were recorded to be in the high 120km area with sand being pressed into service as deadly blinding agents. A wall of sand atleast a kilometer high ravaged the more populated parts of Sirithilia doing an estimated 420 million M€ worth of damage to houses.

Motor vehicle accidents are reported in being near the 700 vehicle mark with atleast that many motorists injured by the sudden and devestating sand storm. Lasting a good eight hours the sand storm moved on into the desert around Sirithilia leaving behind it houses with roofs torn off and a string of burning cars and injured beings.

The death toll in the storm is rumoured to be as high as 75 people killed most of them children who sadly suffocated on the massive amounts of sand being flung about. Major Muhammed Il-Majar spokesperson for the Office of the Führer commented on the historical sand storm as vengance against the heathens that desecrated the holy realm of Iraqstan. He also claimed that the death toll will be much lower once emergency services clean up the debris and report previously feared dead as alive.

A state of emergency has been declared in the affected suburbs and the government is reported as pooling at least 700 million M€ into an emergency rebuilding and health fund to compensate those who have lost homes, cars and loved ones in this terrible storm.

In other news, reports of a mass military mobalisation in the outer ports and barracks have been coming in more frequently from sources inside the military. As yet Iraqstani Defense chiefs are remaining silent on these reports. Is the Empire preparing for war? We can only wonder as these reports become more and more intensive.

In weather the Sand storm that rocked Sirithilia will be heading towards the industrial city of Quas-Ilumar and will arrive in roughly twelve hours with winds expected to increase as Sirithilia itself braces for yet another sand storm of huge proportions in the coming days. Government officials have issued warnings to citizens to remain indoors at all times with City focused business and schools closing down for the rest of the week.

Department of Defense announces plans to overhaul and upgrade military hardware.

"Good evening, this is Natasha Marliv for Imperial News Network. Earlier today at a press conferance on Military defense spending and upgrades, General Muhammed Il-Samar announced the Department of Defences intentions of upgrading and enhancing their SteelViper tanks and laying out the design plans for naval ship upgrades along with alowing for aircraft research and design using latest technological trades with the Empire of Treznor.

Unveiling plans for a new armour system for the SteelViper tanks the Department of Defense assured the peoples of Iraqstan that their weapons would be superior to all on the battlefield and invoke the most deadliest of fear in the times of peace. Those that strike Iraqstan shall recoil from the burning retaliation of our peoples. The general was quoted as saying.

The armour system which so far is remaining closely guarded is commented on having a naer 100% effiency at protecting armoured vehicles from standard anti-tank weapons. Also on the list of updates for Iraqstani weapons are the switch from standard engine types to Treznorian cold fusion reactors which are rumoured at giving an increase in power so vast that the weapons will be virtually unstoppable on the battle field.

Aircraft developments are being focused around the latest propulsion break throughs in Treznor which Iraqstan happily shares technological trades with due to alliance agreements and research space aboard Research station Zelgado. General Il-Samar also hinted a new anti-missile defense system for naval ships and static defense arrays which would negate the majority of threat from things as small as artillery shells up to and including cruise missile strikes against said things.

Using a revolutionary breakthrough in Tacticle High Energy Lasers or as they call it a THEL system the laser targets and fires a burst of high energy laser at the incoming fire which causes them to detonate at a safe distance. Current tests are proving to be quite successful with the THEL system slated to begin active use in the near future.

Using technology inspired by Reploid Productions Iraqstani naval and tank forces can look forward to using the most advanced kinetic weapon systems known to the world. All weapon upgrades include reactor changes and refitting of weapon houses to accomodate kinetic launchers. As General Il-Samar stated we exchange known technology for harder hitting and more powerful kinetic devices. A win win situation for our forces when heading into battle.

All upgrades are expected to take roughly seven years to complete with units heading into active duty using new weapons as early as next year. The Department of Defense will be holding another press conference in three days which will outline the new Electric Armour system for their tanks as well as unveiling the THEL System and other choice upgrades to the motherland's weapons of war.

Military unveils SteelViper upgrade plans and electric-armour.

Military broadcast begins

The camera zooms in on a General just after she has begun her speech.

"Now as you all know a 'shaped charge' explosive warhead shoots a rapier-like jet of hot copper into the target at several miles per second. Such jets can penetrate anything upwards of a foot (30cm) of solid steel armour. The effect almost invariably results in loss of life and can destroy a modern armoured infantry combat vehicle or tank costing millions.

What the new Iraqstani Electic Armour System or IEAS does is electrifies the outer layer of armour which when hit by the jet of copper disperses it causing the fired weapon to explode harmlessly against the vehicles armour. In such the only repairs that will have to be made to the SteelViper tanks and armoured vehicles is pure cosmetic.

Recent tests of the system have proved 100% successful with total protection from shaped charge anti-tank weapons which in some cases include tank and artillery shells. Weight of the new system is surprisingly light adding only a measly two extra tonnes to the tanks over all weight.

Power wise it can run off a standard tank engine but due to fuel efficiency and other demands all SteelViper tanks will be recieving upgrades to Treznorian cold fusion reactors in the near future. The armour make up of our tanks now will consist of standard ballistic armour protection as the outer layer the inner layer will consist of a conductive plating with which the electricity will orientate itself from. The inner most layer will be insulated and NBC proofed.

The Electric Armour system will give battlefield commanders an advantage over all with near invincible armoured vehicles doubled with new weapon upgrades for the tanks themselves Iraqstan will be propelled into the future as a force above and beyond being reckoned with. In a sense a tank can now be lightly armoured yet still have the protection of upwards of 20 tonnes of armoured protection which will induce faster tanks, more agile tanks and a fearsome amount of armaments and weapon supplies to an already fearsome military force.

Another upgrade to the SteelViper series of tanks will be weapons, no longer will we be restricted to standard cannon mounts. As of today Iraqstan plunges into the future of weapon systems with kinetic weapons. Replacing the standard SteelViper mk3 will be a new designed tank featureing state of the art Iraqstani railgun system.

"As you can see the SteelViper has had significant changes to it's design. The front part is a prototype path clearing device which most likely will not be added to the final design. The turret as you can see is significantly different to a standard 120mm smooth bore cannon prominent on most SteelViper tanks. Rather we have replaced it with a 20mm rail gun capable of launching slugs at hypersonic speeds at targets the same distance and further than a standard tank weapon.

This added strength means tanks now must fear being hit with weapons virtually unstoppable by standard armouring systems. After all it's hard to stop a weapon at standard speeds of artillery but imagine trying to stop a shell going at mach eight or faster? It's virtually impossible! This coupled with a break through in electro-kinetic weapon systems thanks to prototypes purchases from countries we have perfected the ultimate in anti-personal defense systems for the SteelViper range of tanks.

The anti-personal gun, firing 7.62mm rounds has a near limitless rate of fire whilst utalising electro-kinetic firing mechanisms that means no moving parts and quick and easy to fire. All tanks will come with enough anti-personal rounds to last as long as possible on the battlefield. The new SteelViper is both lighter than the original thanks to the IEAS system and faster. It also packs a hell of a stronger punch and will be considered the god of modern warfare upon it's arrival at any fight.

In closing of this session I also would like to announce research and development of the Tactical High Energly Laser defense system has reached a breakthrough in it's design an upon final tests the THEL system will become active and naval defenses will be boosted by at least 500% with the new system. Department of Defense unveils new Tacticle Defense System

Of late many hours of research time have gone into tactical high energy lasers systems, with little to no success in fielding them effectively in combat until now.

With the recent break through in high energy manipulation and management thanks to research using systems obtained through confidential sources Iraqstan has successfully produced the first defensive system of it's kind in the National Socialist Empire. Capable of focusing high amounts of energy into a single burst the ITHEL system can target and combust key components of missiles and artillery.

The system to date has a working protectiveness of upwards of 75% with an avg of 80% coverage defensively. This breakthrough and the high percentage of weapons neutralised has caused the Führer to approve construction of a working model for further field testing. The system once finished will be used to defend naval assets and fixed emplacements from cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles and in most cases, artillery shells. Using the latest Iraqstani targetting systems the ITHEL system will actively be able to target and fire on roughly 85% of all enemy fire coming in on that ITHEL position.

This ontop of weapons and power source upgrades to Iraqstani naval forces will result in a huge if not unstoppable gain in Iraqstani naval superiority in the near future. The program is estimated to be completed in as little as five years from now. With full implementation another four years after that."

Ceria pauses for a moment and tilts her head, listening to a message relayed via an ear piece. Nodding she looks up and smiles apologeticaly. Military publishes international Military Census.



"Good evening, following the recent military releases of new technology and military movements the Iraqstani Defense Force today published it's Fact book of military strength. Iraqstani military parades were given new flavour last week as the latest batch of Landships purchased from an outside source were added to the parade. The citizens marveled at the grace and power of these floating weapon platforms and the Führer himself promised greater security and stability with the announcement of research into the technology.

Indiastani trade deals have proven profitable with the procurement of more warships of extreme firepower and installing them into Iraqstani Space Forces began happening three days ago. Economic strength has again inreased with the prices of consumer goods rising on the markets of trade partners and export demands reached record highs for this financial year.

Economists estimate that the economy will continue to grow at accelerated rates as food production facilities in Um Lizaa come online and begin distributing foods to badly needed areas after famines swept through the less populated areas of the country.

In Iraqstan towns and cities in the farther regions are reporting food shortages as over populisation takes effect with the empire recording a massive 2 billion citizens. Food experts are estimating the famine will continue to increase unless food deals are brokered in countries that are Iraqstani trade partners. Imperial News Network unveils sister news broadcast.

"Good evening I am Tanya Kikoria for Imperial News Network. Earlier today the Führer proudly opened the first broadcast tower of the Colonial News Network or CNN for short. Utalising recently built information towers CNN will be used in conjunction with Imp(N)News to cover both domestic and colonised regions of the world.

CNN will is scheduled to begin complete broad casts of news on colony activities and foreign deals brokered and traded within the higher echelons of the Iraqstani government.

In a recent interview Führer Quil'Raya stated that economic power was a very sure thing and the recent influx of military budgeting was nothing to worried about. The price of continued freedom from the opressive and hypocritical regime of the Immortal Shogunate has demanded more concentration on security around the motherland and her colonies.

In Um Lizaa a recent socialist rally was fired upon by Iraqstani Guard stationed in the capital city after the rally grew violent and rocks were thrown at the IG. Reports indicate a total of thirty protestors and political advocates were killed in the short fight that occured with Um Lizaan civillians assaulting the soldiers with home made bombs and projectile weapons.

This incident has furthere resolved the führer into enacting project lebensborn and as he calls it the final justification of the masses. Project Lebensborn is a cotninuation of the defense of the pure act which was created at the onset of his taking control of the country. CNN broadcasts first news stream to the Colonies

"good evening, this is Nataylia Gri'loria for CNN. Today has been a history making day with this being the first ever broadcast of the CNN network. The voice of the führer can now reach further into the colonies of the empire with the high speed, accurate and pure broadcasts of CNN!

The opening ceremony of the CNN broadcast tower in Sirithilia was met with celebrities from all walks of Iraqstani life, roughly three thousand citizens turned out for the special occasion with an honourable and striking opening by the führer himself, who also took the day by announcing the heir to his seat his son Lidric Quil'Raya.

Having been just a rumour and a presence in the palaces of the pure Lidric was seen for the first time since his birth. A handsome boy and observant the boy has shown promise in all realms of his father's political world.

Now onto the colony news. Fuel prices in Um Lizaa have risen since the destruction of most technological acheivments in the final justification of the country. International colonies have reported increased profits in gold and uranium since the introduction of free trade between the colonies and Iraqstan's allies, bringing more power into the realm of the National Socialist Empire.

Empire wide famine whipes decimates the pure.


"Good evening this is Tanya Harding for CNN. Earlier today it was revealed that the population statistics of Iraqstan was a falicsy with rumours spreading far and wide that the population has suffered severe and cronic famines for years on head. The two billion plus nation today revealed it's population had dramaticaly decreased to five million over the period of time since the first reports of food shortages almost thirty years ago.

Iraqstani military units are reported to be less than stated with nuclear capability severely hampered, there is how ever vast yards of vehicles and air craft all of them bought before the famines decimated the country.

The Führer was quoted as saying the recent famines were an example of why Iraqstanis should remain pure to their heritages and that the eternal Goddess Sirithil had punished the sinners and non-believers with death. From this day forth he furthered went on to say all Iraqstani natives would be stronger in faith and devotion to their goddess Sirithil.

In other news the Colonoy realms of Iraqstan are reporting in as fully stocked and capable of defending their motherland should war come to their shores with Iraqstan herself reactivating the two million combat drones it had in storage after scrapping some fourteen million drones which were used at the height of their military power.

"Good evening, this is Tanya Harding for CNN. earlier today it was revealed by the executive office for the tricks against the Führer that the entire population of the empire co-operated in an empire wide plan to trick the Führer into believing the majority of his people were killed.

This trick being started almost five years ago with the first reports of wide spread famine ended earlier this morning with all two billion citizens reappearing from the specialy designed camo-tents around the country and a resonating roar of surprise was echoed throughout the world by them all.

The Führer is reported to of taken the trick in stride and is even laughing at it, being quoted as saying 'If two billion people can disappear on me and reappear to scare the bajeebus out of me then all is good in Iraqstan.' In a show of respect for this the Führer awarded the entire population a full days leave from work which started directly after the trick was revealed.

Work will begin as usual at 5am tomorrow morning with the factories expecting a huge increase in production and profit after the morale boosting effect this trick has had on the populace.

Earlier today the Iraqstani Defense Force and the department of national security unveiled a contract awarded to The Semi-Autonomous Technocratic Oligarchy of The Most Glorious Hack. The contract it was stated included the construction of a small island roughly four thousand kilometers off the coast of the exiled held lands of the Immortal Shogunate of Reploid Productions.

National Security cheif Commander Jinko Zahne commented on a lack of early warning in regards to the filthy congregation of dissidents and vermin along that coastline. She also proclaimed that the non-aggression treaty signed by the Shogunate was largely ignored by the nation and that evidence has been found to indicate the voices of the exiles have more power than promised.

Iraqstani Guard release new unit patch

The camera displays the Iraqstani flag with the words 'Si vis pacem para bellum' scrolling underneath it before changing to the square of enlightenment in the heart of Sirithilia.

The dull roar of the crowd celebrating yet another military parade grows silent as the führer steps forward his arms outstretched and clutched in one hand is the ever present pistol of enlightenment. With a squeak of microphone static he begins to speak.

As the lines of men and women continue behind them come a group of SteelViper tanks, their sleek designed hulls, glint evily in the sunlight, their turrets sit ready to unleash death upon their enemies. The roar of the crowd is blanketed out by the roar of fighter craft overhead as twelve Star shaped fighters soar over at high speeds their afterburners burning brightly. The cameraman focuses in on a single Iraqstani Guard, his rifle glinting perfectly in his hands as he walks past the Führer's stand he salutes in the proper fashion and mouths the words 'Heil the Führer! "Good evening, this is Tanya Harding for CNN Iraqstan. Earlier this month the Führer announced economic and technological embargos upon the island state of Um Lizaa. Reports given to the Ministry for Information have confirmed that the economic and technologic foundations of the verminous nation have indeed been destroyed.

The Wall of Purity project currently running in Um Lizaa has neared the final two hundred kilometers of construction to go and is showing much promise to future generations of pure citizens of the island state.

Economic and agricultural advancements in Um Lizaa rest solely now in General third star Muhammed ibn Il'Sumutra commander of the Um Lizaan garrison force that has taken part in sevral thousand missions of supression along the nothern lines of the filthy continent.

The wall of purity is said to be the biggest factor in maintaining civil order among the rebellious and disgraceful filth that plague the nation. As more and more Um Lizaans accept their spot in the chain of humanity more escape security and stability and replace it with terrorism and illegal living.

The Führer has vowed that Iraqstan will prevail against these infidels and in truth already have. The Northern Um Lizaan wastes are nothing more than houses and garrisons with the populace surrendering to Iraqstani control and beginning integration into the industrial furnace that is the Iraqstani Economic foundation and governing state.

The Führer backing this order has begun issuing orders to all foreign embassies to move to the secondry capital of Kardas to the north where a new ambassidorial distric is being built.

In following of this the Führer also revoked the rights to diplomatic immunities for diplomats and other foreign ambassadors to Iraqstan stating that since they reside in the motherland they will live by the motherland's laws. New laws have been enacted that restrict religious faiths to Embassy grounds and a requisition form placed with Iraqstani government before building of temples within Embassy grounds can be made.

Further laws enacted are the removal of Diplomatic rights to speak about the positives of their country to the average Iraqstani citizen stating to do so is to defy the motherland and show true defilement to the righteous purity of the peoples of Iraqstan.

These laws are binding and any found breaking them will suffer incaseration within the Iraqstani prison system until a trial can be held Iraqstan does not negotiate nor will it be leniant to those that break the law.

Führer announces National Socialist Revolution Complete

The camera switches to a podium in the square of enlightenment where hundres of thousands of people stand saluting the center, their arms stretched out before them in the proper salute of Iraqstan.

Behind the podium and stage a flag sways softly in the breeze, the Iraqstani iron cross against the imperial colours the symbol of the National Socialist Union, on the bottom right hand corner however a new image is portrayed, the symbol of the Iraqstani Guard, the focus of the military and the guardians of the pure.

The crowd salute the flag and scream out their devotion to the master race and the motherland as Carlos steps onto the podium, dressed in the formal black with red armband of the Iraqstani Guard. Saluting his people in return he clears his throat and opens his arms wide as from either side of him in double lines march soldier after soldier all dressed in the Iraqstani guard uniform. The crowd seeing the display of military dominance roar their appreciation and thousands of hands clap in man made thunder as the solders stop and face the führer guns held in ceremonial readyness.

Stepping to the microphone Carlos begins to speak "Comrades of the National Socialist Union, today marks a day in history for our proud and honourable nation. Today I announce the formal unification of the National Socialist states of Iraqstan, today begins the first Iraqstani Reich! His arm clutched over his heart Carlos sings with the crowd as they repeat the song again and the music of the reich booms from the speakers, in the middle of the square the Iraqstani Guard raise their rifles to the sky and at precise moments fire a single shot as one into the sky, a mark of defiance against the oppressive nations that would seek to destroy them.

The camera focuses on Carlos and the viewers watch as he sings the anthem with passion and determination, his face flushed and his pistol gripped over his heart, zooming back out the camera pans the crowd who stand in their seats, arms in salute and their voices raining down upon their führer. Pausing the camera focuses on a little girl who waves a little Iraqstani flag as she sings, her mother smiling down at her, a symbol of unity...a symbol of strenght.

Ministry for Information release

The camera fades from the Iraqstani flag to an image of a podium outside the ministry for Information in Sirithilia. Standing at attention on either side of the stage are four Iraqstani Guard their rifles held in ceremonial positions, their black uniforms crisp and the golden symbol of the guard shining brightly in the morning sunlight.

Stepping out from the ministry itself comes the Information Minister, Muhammed Saeed Al Sahaf, key member of the interior advisory staff and personal friend to the führer himself. Stepping to the podium he clears his throat and nods to the crowd of reporters. "Iraqstani citizens, members of the colonies and international beings. Earlier this week the glorious forces of the first reich initiated an all out assault upon the resistance cells within the northern wastes of Um Lizaa. These vermin in a blatant attempt at destabalising the purity and strength we enjoy have been labeled as traitors and counter revolutionaries of the state and the national socialist revolution.

To this extent they have en masse been sentanced to death by the führer and punishment has been carried out. Your valient sons and daughters, my brothers and comrades have gone into harms way once more to defend the righteous freedom we call national socialism! We have more victories to celebrate and more fallen to mourn but all in the name of the motherland!

We have also defeated an enemy army that sought to invade our sovreign realm and spread the verminous diseas of the impure amongst us! Their troops fell at the hands of the People's Nationalist Army! The nation of Kyzyl-Orda has learnt that dealing with the union is dealing with death! Tragedies like the deaths of our comrades in arms will always be remembered and the nation of Kyzyl-Orda will be forced to repay us for their murdering of our sons and daughters.

The resistance in Um Lizaa is once more quelled beneath the boots of the mighty pure and once more security and stability is restored to the world and the pure have once more shown the world that in a single shining movement we will not back down! International opinion of our actions has been low but the support of you the pure has been the driving point! The Führer extends to you his respect and admiration for the continued belief in the ways of the Iraqstani! To you we dedicate the victory of Um Lizaa! Sieg Heil!" He shouts in finality as his arm rises in the common salute of the Iraqstani people, left hand and arm outstretched before him facing the flag of Iraqstan. Turning he shakes the hands of a wounded Iraqstani soldier who during the speech stepped forward and sat in honour beside the minister and with a flash of cameras leaves the Iraqstani Guardsmen turning their attentions to dispersing the crowd as the camera returns to the Iraqstani flag and finnaly a black screen.

INN Update: Iraqstani military enjoy continual victory

"Good evening. In an emergency press conferance today Information Minister Muhammed Saeed Al-Sahaf released reports of the continuing victory the elite forces of the National Socialist Union have been enjoying over the rebel vermin of Northern Um Lizaa.

He further reported in an increase in national purity in Iraqstan with seventy five percent of all Um Lizaan residents returning to their homeland in a bid to prove to their rebellious brothers that they have attained peace and enlightenment through accepting their fates and roles in the national socialist union.

Führer Quil'Raya also released that the second stages of operation silent fury was to be completed within the next three days leading forward to yet another invincible Iraqstani offensive set to recapture the heart of rebel held lands after terrorist strikes in southern um lizaa left seven hundred people dead and more wounded.

The Führer has vowed that injustices like th rebel uprising in Um Lizaa will not be accepted by the Union and has vowed to support our brothers and sisters in the world alike, furthering the power of Nationalism and racial dominance accross the globe.

INN Update: Accidental firing of Cannons of Purity kill 300

"Good evening. In a catastrophic event the mighty Cannons of Purity located near the southern capitl of Kassal. The Cannons of Purity a military initiative to set up a massive network of defensive cannons designed to strike enemy positions before they land in the motherland herself.

The weapons in routine tests of their systems accidently fired due to a corruption in the firing code launched multiple volleys of shells into the sea causing an estimated four hundred billion in damage to Kassal city assets and state controled industries.

Three hundred civilians are confirmed dead with the toll rising as emergency vehicles explore the demolished Um Lizaan protection zones nearest the Cannons base. The blast of the cannons caught the city unaware and damaged the majority of the city. Th business centers have been shut down until roads and buildings can be repared and all major highways into and out of the city are closed due to structural damage to onramps and offramps.

Terrorist attacks push forward Iraqstani Guard campaigns

"Good evening, I am Natalya Von shmitd for INN. In the recent weeks a media blackout has been inplace as the military campaign of the motherland's glorious forces has waged on in the northern parts of um lizaa. News has finnaly been released from the first reich that victory is at hand even in the face of recent terrorist attacks on the Cannons of Purity and the Shin-ra built Princess guard, both attacks aimed at destroying the righteous way of life we enjoy here in Iraqstan.

Death tolls of the princess guard attack are yet to be confirmed but the results of the terrorist hits on the cannons of purity have deaths in the high hundred thousands nearing two hundred thousand with projections to rise as more fall victim to radiation related illnesses such as cancer. In Um Lizaa itself suicide bombers have attacked a school in the southern held areas claiming to be ending the bastard mixing of two races by destroying the mongrel off spring of the evil fuhrer.

Claims of any mingling of pure blood with the impure of Um Lizaan are unconfirmed and the state once more reminds all that under the terms of the project pure born any Iraqstani women found without their Iraqstani husband will be arrested and shot. The response to these attacks on Iraqstani soil are stated to be swift and heavy with a full hundred thousand soldiers being mobalised with even more said to be waiting immediate clearance to begin bombing runs and air drops into enemy held areas to root out and eliminate all forms of infestation in the lands of the north.

Recent firings of the Cannons of Purity and the Princess Guard have caused an estimated one million deaths in the verminous ranks of the Um Lizaan liberation movement with many villiages that once harboured terrorists now nothing more than burning remains or abandoned houses. The Public Security Service has tripled their numbers in the recent days as men unable to join the military are drafted into the police force to add an extra layer of security to the motherland and her heart capital Sirithilia.

The fuhrer projects that by the end of next month total victory shall be acheived over the verminous hordes of Northern Um Lizaa with full integration of it's population into the National Socialist Union of Iraqstan to happen in the year after. Iraqstani Mining Corp to open Coal Mine in Northern Um Lizaan settlement of Kel'Kwaad

"Good evening, following the cease fire between the Um Lizaan Liberation front and the National Socialist Union, the mining conglomerate of IMC was granted full access rights to the coal vein rich areas of Northern Um Lizaa.

IMC Officials are indicating a job surpless in the range of six million jobs will soon be available, with the number tripling once the mines enter full production. In an effort to ease security tensions within um lizaa IMC Security divisions are being given full rights to operate independantly of the union in um lizaa and other IMC held territories, opening a new path for IMC to gain even greater opporunities down the road.

IMC Officials are also stating that um lizaan workers will be contracted to help build the Nereid mining colony and resupply shipyrad in the neptune system with Iraqstani influence higher than the Um Lizaan work force.

The Reich has praised the IMC for their continued efforts to eliminate hostility and further the righteous path of the Union in all of it's activities.

In other news National Socialist Union negotiators have failed to bring the ULF FAction leaders to the negotiating table as efforts continue to bring the unification of Um Lizaa fully into the control of the Reich.
