There was actually a large increase on 16th January, because that's when the New York Times gave a pretty good rating on this site.
Well the first time I quit coming here is because it was filled with idiots and the forums never work... I honestly don't know why I came back, though.

And the Golden Age of NationStates was November, by the way.Back when debates about UN proposals actually made a difference...and then when I finally could get on again I kept finding threads of godmoded army rifles for sale that people kept buying even after I declared them godmoding...
I like it. I tell people about it but I think some more options on the scale of ns II suggestions are going to be needed to start it back uphill.
There are people like me that will hang around for a long long time.

I don't plan on quitting at least until after I've taken Wretchengard through a few groundbreaking changes and developments (that could lead to the demise of the nation :o ). If NationStates still interests me when I eventually have war-torn Wretchengard reduced to rubble, I might start RPing with one of my other nations.

I love NS because it's very low maintenance (ie. not nearly as bad as SimCity).
For that reason I'll probably keep my nation going strong and occasionally do some RP stuff now and then (not too deeply though..... probably).
That will probably change when I move out though, which wouldn't be all bad :wink:
