Once built however, the silos can be used to lob similiarly-sized payloads (commercial rockets/satellites, etc) into orbit. Also, while the Makaze could in theory be deployed against spaceships, it is advised that the missile not be used for this purpose, as it is easy for most spacecraft to target and shoot down the missile long before it reaches the target. The Makaze is intended for use against weapons/spy/etc satellites that many nations in the world seem to like having.

The Harukaze product line was not built with stealth in mind, as they are intended for civilian and/or diplomatic use. Due to its unique shape however, the Harukaze 100-S does have a relatively small radar signiture. Other than that, none of our currently offered jets have any particularly stealthy features.

Depending on the size of the pods, they could be stowed in the cargo compartment- if they have to be externally mounted, depending on the size and shape, it may be feasible to mount them underneath the wings. What are the specs on the pods?

Another question: How difficult would it be to fit ECM pods to the RPRA-BC02: "Harukaze 45 Business jet"? BTW, very nice .jpg image!

R. Kebb

Depending on the size of the pods, they could be stowed in the cargo compartment- if they have to be externally mounted, depending on the size and shape, it may be feasible to mount them underneath the wings. What are the specs on the pods?

24-06-2003, 05:22
Railguns and gauss rifles are much different. Railguns use magnets, gauss rifles use little shells that move really fast. The gauss rifle is a bit more accurate than the railgun, but it can't penetrate heavy armour. Realistically, the railgun would give back a lot of kick. The gauss rifle wouldn't.

Well, the railguns are still in testing in GMC Military Arms- the Mk-1 Bandit is only armed with a grenade launcher and a machinegun. The railgun-equipped Mk-3 may be hitting the market in a matter of months however.

<No they're not. A Gauss gun uses ring shaped magnets to push (or pull) a round out of the barrel; a railgun operates in a hard-to-explain way based on Lorenz forces.>

Western Asia would like to place a large order for the Harukaze 100-S Luxury jet line. We have previously purchased several of these craft and now wish to expand our resources and our airwing of these fine craft.

In total, we would like to purchase 90 of these craft for our DRCs, 24 for our Executive branch official transports, 40 for our legislative transporter fleet, 110 for our diplomatic corps official transports, and 56 for various private individuals and/or companies that have requested that our officials obtain these craft for them

That is a total of 320 aircraft of code "RPA-BC03" at a price of some $30M

The subtotal is thus $9.6 billion. We would like to retrieve the craft in groups of 16 over 20 weeks. A quarter of the price ($2.4bn) can be allocated to your accounts as a "down payment" with another quarter being paid in a final, balloon payment at the conclusion of the deal. Our pilots sent to collect the aircraft will provide you with a sum of $240 million for each of the 20 intermediate payments.

If this plan is not acceptable to you then we are willing to split it more simply into a 1/3 : 1/3 : 1/3 payment scheme.

Thank you.

BTW, your latest annual check from the sales of Civilian Bandit Mk I in Greater Israel (by long-term contract) should be coming in soon. We believe that it is valued at approximately 210M. The Bandit is now a common sight on the streets of Western Asia's major cities.

RPRA Techcorp is happy to announce the release of the TM-LS01 "Makaze" surface-to-orbit anti-satellite missile! Perfect for those nations that don't want to throw tons of money into developing their own space program to deal with the ever-present threat of orbital weapons satellites, spy satellites, and other orbital threats! The Makaze uses a railgun launch system to initially lob the lift vehicle into the air, and has two conventional booster stages to assist in guiding the Makaze into position in orbit, where it can then unleash it's payload of 20 kinetic missiles- perfect for knocking out satellites. (We advise against using the Makaze against spaceships however, as those are better capable of shooting the Makaze down before it can be successfully deployed.)

Plus, it can mount 4 sensor arrays under the wings, allowing for excellent resolution and detail in images, even when taken from 80,000 ft up!

We're also expanding our line of railgun-launched missiles with the 250 foot tall TM-LL02 Futomara Kousei, a large, quality ICBM that you can customize to fit your needs- EMP bombs, conventional bombs, cluster bombs, and so on!

((OOC: Build time on the missiles are the same as for the Makaze.))

As always, a pleasure to do business with the government of Iraqstan. The total is US$540 million. Expect delivery in roughly a month. ((OOC: Sometime tomorrow ^_~)) It is recommended that a large jet similiar to the Boeing 747 be used to piggyback the unit to a suitable launch altitude. If you currently do not have any or enough such aircraft, might we be able to interest you in also buying some Hamakaze 220 jets configured for that purpose?

We are pleased to announce the addition of the Yotaka unmanned attack aircraft to our product line! Built on a modified Tsubasa chasis, the Yotaka boasts excellent mileage, and an excellent payload capacity, all for the single unit price of $10 million!

But that's not all! In addition to its obvious combat roles, the Yotaka can also be used for scientific research, as it can carry a greater instrument payload than the longer-range Tsubasa.

Also: We are looking to conduct a survey as to what else our customers would like. Any suggestions for new products are welcome, please telegram RPRA Techcorp if you have any recommendations.

On behalf of Crystal Black, We would be interested in purchaseing some of your ... Bandit 1's? Unforetuneatly.. They are unsuited for our current troop usage. Would we be able to get just a single Bandit 1, Stripped of weapons? We would assume this would either cost less for not needing to install the weapons, or more because it would require doing more work than required.

Either way, We shall transfer the money when we recieve a confirmation and a price, and look forward to possibly contributing to the evergrowing Bandit line of attack vehicles.

RPRA Techcorp is pleased to unveil its latest offering- the Sirithil-class luxury cruise ship! Inspired by the extravegance of elvish culture, this elegant ship boasts an excellent range of features and is highly customizeable. Need to host a large diplomatic party? This ship will serve your every need, as it features a stunningly decorated interior ballroom, as well as a huge enclosed party deck. Just because she's big and fancy doesn't mean she's a sloucher in the performance department, either! Equipped with two of the largest turbine engines we build, the TP-150, she can reach a top speed of roughly 50 knots under ideal conditions.

Just US$300 million will net you this queen of the sea!

We can provide armory rooms, though you'll have to supply your own weapons (unless you happen to be ordering more stuff from our catalogue to stock them with). We can also provide a room with suitable soundproofing and mounts for equipment, though we do not condone violent interrogation, and hence, do not sell the equipment for such things. Should you wish to provide your own equipment, we can customize a room on board the ship for mounting them.

The total cost for the ship with the requested modifications comes to $340 million.

We are pleased to announce our latest product! The tiny cousin to the gigantic Sirithil-class luxury liner, the RPRA-TS04 Madoi (http://rpstudios.ian-justman.com/junk/CGgoods/RPRA-TS04-1.jpg) yacht! This twenty-meter long boat may not feature the same amount of space or high-class luxury as the much larger liner, but she makes up for it with her speed and agility! Capable of speeds up to 70 knots in good conditions, you and 20 friends or associates can hit the water for a day fishing, partying, or just cruising! She's got excellent clearance, and is an ideal river-runner or coastal transport.

She may not be for a total getaway like her big cousin, but she'll run circles around the liner any day of the week!

She's yours for the low price of US$300,000!

For our Foreign Affairs Ministries and the People's Liberation Forces, we would like to buy 20 RPRA-BC02.

The subtotal is $180 million USD, without the shipping charges.

Certainly! We can have the planes ready in about three months ((OOC: Three days from now.)). Would you prefer we fly the planes to you, or would you rather send crews to pick them up?

No problem, it's our pleasure to serve our frequent customers! We can have the craft completed in roughly 6 months ((OOC: six days from now- spacecraft take long to build than jets!)). Training of crew is included in the purchase price. Would you prefer to send crews here for training and pickup, or for our crews to fly them over and train your crews?

Also, we have a second run of the limited edition Elite Victory /w Firefury Amahira action figures. Shall we ship those as well?

Woot! Buy time for Sneaky B! We're interested in purchasing 50 of the new RPRA-CC03 Dakkai. We'll probably be back later to buy more. Our accountants tell us that its gonna cost us $2,500,000,000, but we're cool with that.

Once the order is filled and all of them are ready, we'll send some crews over to pick 'em up and bring 'em home, so don't worry about delivery.

Thanks!

After a long hiatus from the market scene, we are proud to announce the latest RPRA Techcorp offerings!

-The Harukaze 100-A broadcast aircraft! Excellent as a portable broadcast tower!
The Toriko Shuttle! A fleet-footed small personel aerospace craft well suited for surface-to-station and other short in-system flights!
The Busu 2 Merchant cargo spacecraft! Based on the megahauler Busu ship, the Busu 2 Merchant is a more manageable mass-cargo mover equipped with a modest Black Knight FTL drive and capable of carrying large items or one of our standard Busu cargo pods!
The Busu Cargo pod! One comes standard with the Busu 2 Merchant, but pods can be purchased seperately. One pod has a whopping 4,807,687,192 cubic meters of cargo space, and these pods can be heavily and easily modified by our buyers without any need for special equipment!

Please, browse our catalogue (located on page 1 of this thread), and drop us a line!

One Bandit Mk-III
One Shigami Missle Carrier
One Madoi Luxury Yacht

I saw that you had custom painted an order with a flag before, and I've thrown in some extra money to make it worth your while to do so for me. The flag is obviously on the dominions homepage.

I've wired you the money. I noticed you asked, so I would like them delivered if possible. I would get them myself, but I am very busy, for my nation just started. Thank you.
