If something is illegal, it has a world of difference from it being liked. In victorian times, pornography was barely legal, and was considered the "forbidden fruit." Many men enjoyed porn in those times simply because they were men, and they didn't give a damn about what society thought. I immagine that this would be much the same in Klan Land.

Why is being bigoted and trying to form an alliance valid reasons to teach someone a lesson by which I assume you mean go to war? If i have assumed wrongly please correct me. It could be grounds for economic sanctions and casting out of the International community. This did happen to Rhodesia when it was white ruled and had apartite. This often happens when unpopular political groups come to power. However those reasons are not good enough to go to war. War is only legal if your country is attacked or your ally’s country is attacked or is just about to be attacked.
