Honestly, some people never learn. "Dictatorship" and "Oppressive Nation" are not very popular words right about now, there's a war on between democracies and a large number of dictatorships, so maybe this isn't the best idea.

I'm not saying that I am oppressive - far from it in fact. What I am saying is that there is a war on - democracy (Allies) VS dictatorships (GDODAD). Standing up and saying "Hi, I'm a dictatorship and I want all your other dictatorships to come and join me" is running a risk that the democracies fighting the GDODAD might take you seriously and attack you - either than or ignore you in perpetuity.
And by the by - "excuse me" in French is "excussez moi", not "excuse moi".

My people currently need oppressing so I can save their lives. Besides, if they want they are welcome to take a holiday in Olath Valsharess to get away from all the oppressivness. Just not right now, when we're in the middle of been invaded

while I hear you and your concern, and am warmed by your concern I feel that democracies should recognise the fact that to wage war against regimes like the one of Fynwyndll, is to oppress free speech, deny the sovreighty of that nation (in violation of the UN charter 1946) and sets a bad precedent for future conflicts where a democratic nation such as yourself needs to gain popular opinion from your populus first.
Please do not patronise me by trying to correct my french, as you can see I am quite erodite.

Your international sovereignty as a dictatorship, a democracy or anything is not my concern. Enodia is neutral in the war against the GDODAD and is going to remain that way, so there is no risk from Enodian armed forces to Fynwyndll or any other dictatorship or oppressive nation. We don't like them in principle, but we accept that there are certain situations in which one-man or one-party rule is politically expedient.
However, there are many other nations which don't think that way. If you're curious, have a look at most of the big war threads at the moment - they pertain to WW4. The armies involved here - on both sides - are quite large to say the least. Saying "I'm a dictatorship" at the present time is not going to draw any fire from me, but it might from those fighting against dictatorships.
