There has been much fruitful discussion in General about a Nationstates Musical, and we need permission from a few mods (who are main characters) to create Southpark style characters. Now, the mods whose permission are most needed right now are Myrth and Cogitation, though we need the rest of you to be open to it as well. Would it be alright to use any of you in this musical and to create south-park characters of you in super-badass armour and things?

Actually, most of the mods made their own pictures. I found them all and put them here. (http://nsthemusical.6.forumer.com/viewtopic.php?t=23) May we use them for the musical?

P.S Katganistan, I made one of you. Can we use this personification of you as well?

Well, I have brown curly hair, blue eyes, pale skin (I live in Scotland, don't yer know) and I usually just wear a blue jacket and black trousers.

Of course I would look so much better as a purple hippo. With wings. And a kilt! AND A FEZ!!!

I really don't mind either, if you need to make one of me.

I'm pretty sure Karma made all of those, so you'd technically have to ask him. I'm pretty sure their free for use though.
Since it's Karma's artwork, youd have to ask him, but I have no objections to the South Park rendition of myself being used.

I've also been asked by telegram if I could record samples of my singing voice. I'm a bit more reluctant on this for two reasons: privacy and the fact that I'd have to hook up a high-fidelity microphone to my computer, somehow.

Sirocco, we'll try to get a picture of a flying purple hippo for you, but failing that, you'll just have to look like a human. :-p

LMAO...Bitter, much? :p And yes, we did do our research. It's just conveniently ignored at times. *grins* Surely your mod egos aren't that fragile and tender? Or does [violet] beat you all more often than we suspected?

You all are more than welcome to help us fine-tune the mods to be more like they should be (remember, this is a rough draft so far, and it'll touched up in a bit, but all help is very much appreciated).

I understand that, Cog, and it's entirely up to you whether your actual voice is used or not.

As for the mic, we don't require anything fancy, just something decent. We certaintly don't want anyone feeling they have to go out and spend money on this venture.

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I just wanted to let the folks who are doing this thing know that IT ROCKS! Keep up the good work, and lemme know when there are new developments (preferably via TG, but email is also OK). I'll be watching the site.
