Potential suitor Nicholas Schverzinski has been chosen by Miss Anna Maria vespillio to visit Osteia and meet her. By the end of his visit she would decide if he was the one for her. The choices had been many very promising, handsome, intelligent, wealthy gentleman to choose from. Nicholas came from a good family and held status within his respected Nation. His letter of responce had also caught the kings personal attention.

The 22 year old gentleman had been prepared for. When he arrived at Apollo International there would be a car waiting for the flight to touch down on the familys private runway.

Anna Maria was excited to meet her new suitor. She had spent the whole day deciding on on which outfit to wear for the dinner. The driver would call from the airport once Nicholas landed to ensure Anna was ready, Everything was going according to plan.

*Cellular phone ringing*... Anna picks up

"Hello,Daddy! yes im ready, ok i'll see you when you get here."

She hung up and looked to her maids, "It was my father, he will be on his way from Bellomo in an hour or so.."

Nicholas Schverzinski had been very anxious to finally meet Anna Maria of Osteia after learning all he could about her during the weeks prior to joining the courtship bandwagon and, of course, he had partaken in the act of just staring at the pictures he had of her with nothing but attraction in his heart. This was definately a beautiful woman, he thought, and he would love to have her as the love of his life with or without the bonuses such as reigning alongside her over the Osteians. As he got onto the private jet, he spent plenty of time staring at the pictures again and wondering if she would be blessed with good character as well as good looks because he wasn't going to marry her if she was just a snobbish brat - no matter how good looking she was.

It didn't take too long for the plane to land in Osteia and Nicholas, calm and confident in his aspiration to successfully court the Princess of Osteia, walked out of it with a smile on his chiseled face and respectable attire upon his muscular frame.

Bumped.

A car was waiting on the familys private runway and pulled out after the plane rolled to a halt. At the other end of the runway hundreds of Osteian troops were boarding C-17 Globemasters and Chinook Helicoptors. The car was a pearl white Bentley stretch limo, the driver opened the back door then rushed forward to help Nicholas with his bags, "I am Daniel your driver this evening sir, you are welcome to be seated inside and have a drink if you wish sir". Daniel put the cases in the trunk, closed Nicholas's door and took his position behind the wheel pulling away...

"It is nice to meet you, Daniel. I'm sure we'll get along just well - I assume you work for His Majesty and his household as the loyal and devoted carrier of persons throughout the city here which, I must say, is pretty well kept. Yes, let's get going. We would not want to keep the Princess waiting."

As the car pulled off Daniel replied, "Right sir, and your thinking is correct sir. It is a beautiful city, lots to see. I believe Miss Vespillio would be very upset if i failed to arrive on-time with her future husband, you won't have to worr sir we will make excellent time"

Daniel stepped on it, the Bentley roared to life. The car arrived at the Vespillio residence roughly thirty minutes later which was close to being a record time, Daniel glanced in his mirror, "Don't mind me saying so sir, but you'll be fine, Miss Vespillio is a good person, ive had the privillage to know her for the majority of her life, everything will be fine" He smiled.

The Vespillio residence was well lit and sillouttes of people could be seen moving about through the drapes.

Nicholas smiled. "I am not afraid that I will fail to make a good impression on the Princess or anything of that sort, Daniel. I'm pretty sure Miss Vespillo and I will get along just well during our meeting - it's always possible, though, that we may not see eye to eye at times. That, though, is common in marriages, isn't it?"

Daniel replied, "I wouldn't know sir, ive been a humble servant of the family for years, never really had the time for a serious relationship. But i would imagine so sir". Daniel got the bags and the two proceeded through the door into the main foyer. Anna Maria stood at the base of the stairs with her mother, the Emperess. She walked forward and looked at Anna, "He's handsome", it's a pleasure to meet you, i am Anna's mother Amarantha". Amarantha was a beautiful woman with tanned skin, long dark black hair, big beautiful blue eyes and a body to kill for.

Miss Vespillio then approached, "Im Anna, forgive my mother it's the wine talking", the two laughed then Mrs. Vespillio spoke, "Come, come Nicholas, have a drink before dinner. My husband will be here shortly"

Daniel replied, "I wouldn't know sir, ive been a humble servant of the family for years, never really had the time for a serious relationship. But i would imagine so sir". If there had been different circumstances then the current ones, Nicholas thought, then it was highly possible he would have tried to court Amarantha but he wasn't here to steal the Empress from the man she loved but to court her daughter who he was quite interested in. After respectfully greeting Amarantha with the usual formula of a smile and a compliment about her looks, Nicholas took Anna's hand and smiled. "The pictures I have of you do not do you justice at all, Anna, and it's a pleasurable honor to finally meet you. Yes, I am Nicholas of Ixania. I'm sure your mother must have given you your looks if we can trust the words of those certain evolutionists."

Nicholas grinned as he walked with Anna. "I'd like to try a drink native to Osteia if possible."
