Ryou and AHSCA what do they have in common? That is something we hope this meeting will figure out. NLP leader Kaena was prepared to meet the Represenative of Ryou to discuss a friendship with the Ryouiens. If you continue dialogue with Ryou, which I assume you will, and which is perfectly fine. The trade deal would be broken, but would likely be revived after the war.

It has come to our attention that you are conducting a diplomatic conference with the nation known as the Ryou Black Islands.

We strongly urge you to cease this conference immediately. The Ryouese have been enemies of the Kiravian Empire ever since their acts of war against the Echo Islands. The KE is a member of ODECON and by that, is at war with the Ryou Black Islands.

If you do indeed seal commercial and defencive pacts with the Ryouese, a nominal war will be declared between the Island Republic and the Kiravian Empire. While this is not likely to result in actual military agression towards AHSCA, it will involve the suspension of all trade links between our sovereignties. These include both the commercial enterprises established under the Kiravian Commonwealth, and the Silk-for-Cale program initiated to relieve strain on your food supply after the last major typhoon. Also, if this war does not favour the Black Islands, we will not be able to stop other ODECON members from invading your territory.

However, should you heed our warning, the profitable endeavours that sail betwixt our ports and yours shall continue unhindered. If the Ryou Black Islands are defeated, the Empire shall plead your non-involvement to ODECON.

Please consider our terms and the consequences of sustaining relations with these barbarians.

We are upset that AHSCA has to be forced to pick sides when it comes to it's external affairs. For so long AHSCA has been a lonely union with so few seemingly to care, this was especially the case when we were brutally occupied, our Duchess swooped away to an unknown prison on foreign soil. When our islands were mercilessly shelled, our populous slaughtered on the basis of their religion when our citizen were kidnapped for one can only imagine no one cared then. However now that we suddenly have taken in an interest in a country that few seem to like for seemingly no logical reason (ooc: I know the basics behind it) you suddenly take such an interest and downright force us to chose


With the wide discrimination against anyone of anthromimi species and so few nations with a wide Anthro population as RBI, AHSCA feels slightly isolated. With only a handful of nations even acknowledging our very existence we feel we should be able to chose who we associate with and we should be able to chose with out penalization. The international community never cared much about us so why is it they do now when we chose who to align our selves with? It saddens us that you feel such a need to suddenly take more of an interest in us outside our silk reserves because of chosing ally ship with the RBI.

Our Embassy Isle has a small group of numbers and it isn't growing particularly fast. This is despicable policy at best. You wan't to terminate trade, so be it.

While we may not approve of our allies recent choice of friendship, we will continue to stand by AHSCA. Our forces will not however, assist in any way Ryou or her allies. However any attack on AHSCA will be considered an act of war on Mokastana. We would prefer to prevent bloodshed by diplomatic means, and seeing as many nations are in good relations with Mokastana, we would like to believe that is possible.

AHSCA will also not pressure Mokastana to place any miltiary support for Ryou. What support we give to Ryou is purely by AHSCA and not by AHSCA's allies unless so willing given.

Unfortunantly for the Ryou Black Island's, the islanders of AHSCA, and-perhaps-the Mokastanans, the sudden diplomatic meetings and messages had attracted an old enemy.

The Totalitarian State of Red Tide's relations with the Ryouns and Mokastanans could be best described as 'spiteful'. When it came to AHSCA, Red Tidean officials acknowledged its existance and never went any further. Red Tide had watched ODECON go to war with the RBI with concealed glee, preliminary plans and research for the supply of munitions and possibly even weapons to ODECON forces were being drawn up.

And thats when the State Intelligence Commissariat had gotten wind of the meeting between the AHSCA representative and the RBI representative. And, somewhere, a war machine began to stir from it's sleep and opened an eager eye.

The first signs were the sattelites, photo-reconnissance and RADAR Oceanic Reconnissance Sattelite's (RORSATs) recieved orders to alter their orbit paths so that more images of AHSCA could be taken. Particular attention was paid to Hoshino and Corona.

The next sign was that Red Tide issued a statement declaring an upcoming exersize by the State Naval Forces. While the statement gave dates, there was no location indicated.

But sure enough, several days before the excersize was to begin, four Carrier Battlegroups of the Red Tidean State Naval Forces left their ports and began to set course. As the days wore on, their destination became obvious...

They were heading for a empty spot of Ocean 100 kilometers Southwest of the AHSCA.

News that AHSCA might help in the war in any way (even to house refugees, which Moreta would talk to them about) was big news to The Ryouese. ODECON was the Aggressor in this war and with AHSCA standing up to them, It seemed to show that the people of AHSCA had honor.

Political Cartoons soon showed a little Woman who was known as "David AHSCA" throwing stones at The Giants of ODECON and knocking them down. Showing the The Ryouese Repected the people of AHSCA as brave and honorable people.

Paradisa Naval Station, 230 kilometers North of AHSCA

Within hours of the message sent to the world, the Paradisa naval station was up in an uproar. The station was to deploy two of its three fleets to AHSCA and wait for reinforcements from the mainland. For this operation two Longswords would be deployed, with Air Attack Flottillas to have a show of force within the island chain. The term floating fortress was quickly coming to mind.

The first Air Attack Flotilla and its wolf pack partner were in a matter of days on route to the island chain. Word came in that two more Flottillas were dispatched with a Kraken Flotilla to escort the Longswords to the Islands.



However soon the MBSA was intercepting messages of a Red Tide "naval exercise" to occur nearby AHSCA, something that did not please the government. Hopefully they were just trying to be intimidating at best. If not, AHSCA could be the center of some really ugly chaos.

Orders were to get to AHSCA ASAP, Red Tide could not be allowed to gain the upper hand in the event of war. If things did get worse, well then, shit could hit the fan rather soon.
