OOC: Saw a niche in the market, decided to fill it.

I am willing to do math for you - it'll be good for my arithmetic, and it's a bit of a maze on costs on this one. I'll also be happy to take care of your discounts and interest on finance options so that we don't get any mistakes.

I think I can now declare this open for now, as of January 1st, 2008.

I really would dearly love for all orders (if any) to be done professionally - whether that be addressed, to'd/from'd/subject'd, headed paper-style, I'm not particularly fussed. This is my first storefront in a hell of a difficult market to get one's head around, so I'd like the effort I put in to match the effort I get. Not too much to ask, I hope?

Finance Options

Various finance options are available for many nations. Each finance option has a code, which, if required, should be quoted in the sales order. There are varying year lengths and interest rates, along with differing times between payments (monthly, quaterly, etc). Remember, each nation will be subject to finance and credit referencing* before approval can be given - please do not attempt to buy out of your price range, as we will find you out, and we'd rather not waste the effort. Persistant offending can and will result in blacklisting.

Rest assured, failure to pay will be met with diligent attempts to reclaim our dues - we work hard to provide you with an excellent service and products, and will not be cheated.

Custom Orders

Our custom orders department are happy to accept requests from any party, government or company - whether it be looking to operate a small raw-coal facility to power a single site, or a floating station that can be moved across the coastline to provide power where it's needed, to a rapid-build facility to give basic provisions to a recently-acquired colony.

Under Development - Barronian Anbaric's R&D Projects

Currently under the microscope is the mobilisation of a modular pebble-bed reactor onto a vehicle of 4-6 axles. Such a task is not easily undertaken - and the reactor's output will no doubt be minimal whilst we work on radiation protection issues, fuel change issues, and others. The fact that such an operation can be undertaken using a helium coolant allows for the removal of complex steam management issues, and in turn allows for a much more compact apparatus.

Any investment in the project is welcomed in return for discounts on the final product and shared research.

This storefront is now taking orders whilst I fill in the gaps. Any and all comments welcome.

Dear Director-General George L. Johnson,

The Griffincrest Corporation is one of the world's premier oil producers, and has long been looking for a class of tanker that it can call its own. Currently, we are using a menagerie of tankers from firms all over the world, but we would like to come to you to consolidate this so we use only a select few. We will pay very well for a new tanker design, preferably one able to stand up against piracy.

Thank You,

Claudius Griffincrest, CEO, Griffincrest Oil Inc.

With the revitalisation policy our company is about to undergo, we wish to enquire whether your company is willing to purchase rights for the use of the following renewable energy sources:

Corona Solar Power Tower

A mighty plant, the corona operates in one section of the Polinas Province in Alfegos. Using an area of 10 square miles, an array of tens of thousands of concave mirrors focus the heat and light of the sun onto the base a massive solar tower, about 1km high. Internally, masses of potassium chloride are heating to boiling point, at around 3600 degrees
The tower is hollow, and the mirrors heating up the salts inside the tower alose heat the air inside. This hot air rises at a speed at about 250 km/h, turning multiple wind turbines held higher up in the tower.

The use of salt means that it will operate for about 6 hours after sunset, and will also operate during short cloudy periods. The height of it means that you will just have built an epic monument to green engineering, a rather large tourist attraction since it is one of the tallest structures on the planet.

Average Output: 800 MW
Total Cost: $90 000 000

Iris Ultra-efficient solar cell

A unit 200mm thick, 3000mm long and 800mm wide, the Iris at first does not appear to be anything special. Yet if you took it apart, you would notice its unique structure giving it the ability to convert 85% of sunlight that falls onto it into energy.
Using a lens and special filters, it splits all the light that falls onto it into high energy, mid-energy and low energy grouping, each of which hits a piece of impregnated sillicon designed for that energy band. As a result, the unit has a power output of about 80 kW.

Cost: $1200 per unit

Dear Sir,

We shall certainly look into your design - our current plans for the mobilisation of a pebble-bed reactor are progressing smoothly, and we hope to have a prototype in place soon.

We would be interested to hear whether you would be interested in having such a device fitted to one of your designed ships, in the interest of furthering our research - the MPBR will be efficient, safe to maintain, and suitable for journeys of up to 12 months.

We look forward to your reply.

Kindest Regards,

Director-General George L. Thompson

We thank you for the acceptance of our deal. The designs, patent certificates and details will be sent in both paper copies and on HVD discs via secure courier, to arrive within 24 hours.

The tour is arranged for the 8/1/08, starting at 10:00am. This time of the year is ideal as are most times of the year, due to the tropical-subtropical climate of Alfegos.

The Empire is a very large energy user with total energy consumption coming to over 350 trillion kilowatt hours in the last year and an expected 92% increase in the coming year due to energy prices dropping on average by 70% and the coninued growth in popularity of electronic devices. As such, all Katislovin energy companies are building power stations as fast as possible. However it is likely that this will not be enough and so the goverment is interested in seeing if you would like to design and build 10 nuclear fission power stations that have between 50 and 80 reactors and can produce an output of 500,000 MW each. The goverment would also like to know if you would be interested in designing and building an experimental nuclear fussion power station with 5 reactors for our scientists to conduct experiments. We are ready to pay up to $8 trillion over a period of 20 years for the completion of all the power stations.

Dear General Hain,

Your order is well above our normal designed capacity, but not impossible. Before we embark on such a project, we would like you to understand a little about the task we are agreeing to undertake.

By agreeing to this project, you allow BAW Group full rights and access to all blueprints, meaning that they are liable for inspection also by the Barronian Crown Government.

You agree to pay in total not more than $8 trillion over the course of 20 years, to an average payment of $400 million. Payments are variable, but must be completed within the 20 years. Failure to do so will result in the Crown Government's involvment in recouperating these funds and will result in the termination of our agreement. In the event of the aforementioned, you are obliged to remove and dismantle all power stations built and designed by BAW Group (or BAW International Power) at your own cost. Refusal to do so will result in the power stations being forcibly dismantled and yourselves being charged for the result.

All costs include training for personnel, a 20-year warranty on all stations, and a yearly checkup on the station for the first 5 years.

In the event of failure due to misuse or attempted repairs by untrained personnel, BAW Group and all it's subsidiaries cannot be held liable.

Otherwise, we look forward to working with you. The reactor will be based on the pebble-bed principle, and will have to be placed near a lake or coast - the amounts of water required to power such a large number of reactors is inordinate at best, and will require a large pump management system.

We will keep you updated on progress.
