=South Coast of Myanmar, 0100 hours=

Lieutenant Copper checked the readout on his gun, 30 it said. "Good," he thought, "fully loaded." He looked over at Sergeant Peng, his face was as cold and solid as stone. He usually was the clown of the unit but even he knows the seriousness of this mission.

=Coronith, Capital of The Allied States of Gaia-Pangea, 2300 hours (4 hours behind in time zone from Myanmar)=

"The prime minister confirmed early reports of an invasion of the dicatatorship that controls the South Asian country of Myanmar. This comes after a Katana fighter that was of course was shot down near the border last month, killing both pilots." the anchorwoman said on the news in the presidential palace. "One million soldiers are expected to invade within 30 minutes of this broadcast, roughly 1:30 A.M. Myanmar time. We will bring you updates as they develop."

The presidne turned off the television. "Ugh, as soon as capture the capital and scure all borders, make sure we release all of those monks and activists that have been held up since 2008." he said to General Volograda.

"Of course sir. Would you like to know the status of Gamma team?"

"Yes actually, put it on the CCTV."

A large television dropped from the ceiling revealing a map of the souhtern coast of Myanmar. Along the bottom, 50 blue dots showed the location of Gamma team.

"How much longer?" says the president

"It's 0110 hours there so five minutes sir."

"I don't want to make the same mistake as those americans in Iraq Namir, I want this to go perfectly."

"I understand sir."

"May god help us all."

=South Coast, Myanmar, 0115 hours=

"Go!" whispered Captain Copper

Gamma team then got up and started moving off the beach into the dense forest.

Master Sergeant Hernandez asks,"When are we supposed to met up with this other team?"

"0125, five minutes till H-Hour," replies Copper

(OOC: ok everyone we can start with someone being the other spec ops team and can move on from there. This is suppoed to be a FICTIONAL account of my version if a country, my country here, invaded Myanmar to get rid of the military dictatorship)

OOC: Can people even do this? I mean, with nations like BL, Scand, and me with bg @$$ populations, we can, at the drop of a hat, invade a Burma-esque nation any time...

not saying that your intro is not well thought out

As much as no country should be ruled by its military, and Burma's junta certainly is not one one would want to live under (journalists in SEAsia in the run up to the invasion of Iraq said if there was a country that should be invaded because of its government, Burma was by far the one. -not to say they supported an actual invasion of Burma-)

That would be in violation of international law and the Nuremberg principles.

One of those Nuremberg tribunal judges said something like:
the crime against peace is the greatest war crime, because it carries within it all other war crimes.

Recanis Capital 1200 hours, a day before Operation dawn started...

Deux's office was a clutter of a mess, from hamburger wrapping paper from Bunny burger, soda cans. Deux didnt care as he was only 22 when he was sworn into election offices. Of course as he finished the last of the crunchy fries, a military figure walked in...

"So, our great PM is just sitting on his table pigging out on hamburgers? I expected more from the son of the first Republic's leader..."

Deux shrugs off the comment "What is it, Mercenary commander Jacob Lioner, Your Dragoons out of work again and need money? You know we got no merc work and Southwind just took advantage of a civil war in the Zaheran region. Working with one of our foes the Parthians. Although nothing offiicial says they are under contract." Jacob then told him: "I want permission to engage in the liberation of Myanmar, formerly known as Burma" Deux: "A noble cause, but a dangerous one. You sure your forces can handle an invasion?" Jacob then showed him a dossier: "We plan on going on a Black Ops operation. Rest assured, if we need to find a scapegoat, we will get one..." With tat Jacob left the office with an invoice stating how much the government owes them upon success. Deux then facepalms as he wonder what type of political mess RR is going into...

Lioner's Dragoons HQ.

"Listen up men, we are going to one of the worst military hellholes in Earth right now, Burma. Or as the Junta Pricks like to call it, Myanmar. We are waging a little dirty war to liberate the nation of Myanmar, we contacted the Karens rebels, we pull this off, they will let LD have Long Term Security details and a springboard in the SEAsia where we could do whatever we like there. But mainly we are doing for the people. Note that this is strictly black op, so you die, we aint taking responsibility of your death. Good luck and move out."

With that about an expedition force of about 2500 personal headed for Myanmar to began their campaign on the liberation of the country, needless to say...it will become a war in history that could be called one of "Recanic Republic's worst acts..."

=0125 hours, 5 kilometers south of Myanmar's captial=

"They're late," said Lt. Copper as gamma starts to get impatient. "The bombong starts in five damn minutes and we havn't linked up yet."

Sgt Karkov suddenly whispered in his team-mic, "Movement up ahead!"

"Get out the IR light and signal them, if they don't respond, hope they move on, if not then open fire" says Lt. Copper to MSgt Hernandez.

"Got it."

Hernandez flashes the IR light at the figures up ahead. Through his NITE-IR hybrid goggles he can see it, and hopes to God that the people up ahead respond.

They wait for about 30 seconds. He flashes again but this tme raises his assault rifle into the ready position.

Finally they see the counter flashes. Copper breaths a sigh of relief.

They move in closer and meet up with the Recanis Spec Ops team.

=GPS Supercarrier Two Harbors, flagship of Operation Dawn, 0126 hours, 15 miles off the coast of Myanmar=

Fleet Admiral Machmoud Annkar watches as the last of the Broadsword-class bombers lift off the deck of the carrier. He is wondering how many are coming back. He knows this is going to be a long and bloody war. That's why the president put him in command of naval forces. He turns to the screen on the dash board next to the helmsman. It shows 150 blue dots of various sizes with the Two Harbors right in the middle and thus, the most protected.

So he thinks.

Under the radar a small craft loaded with C4 is slowly moving through the ships straight for the Two Harbors.

OOC: Real life nations do not exist in International Incidents, there is no U.S., Russia, China or anybody else. There is nobody to RP them, and if there was everyone would want to rp them. You can claim that landmass, but Burma's government does not exist in NS' alternate reality.

[OOC: Stop talking nonsense, TPF. Freeform roleplay allows anyone to do whatever they want - such as invade an RL nation. Many NS nations claim territory of RL nations - there's no such "rule".]
