A small explanation first.

This organization represents a political, economical and military entity. Some might interpret it as an alliance, but while it does act as one, it certainly isn't one.

Although this is not an alliance it is open to new members, so if you're interested in joining please read the charter first, to avoid any confusion later on in regards to the role of the Federation and the attributions of the member states.

The Firewall Federation

The following document represent the act that stand at the base of The Firewall Federation, also know as The Federation, or as to avoid confusion, TFF. Formed following an agreement between two neighboring countries, The Principality of Damirez and The Dominion of TheWickerMania, it represents a political, economical and military entity aimed at improving regional stability and cooperation.


I. Justification.


1. Unity.

Following the advent of several crisis it was proven to the governments of both countries that there was a need for deeper cooperation and integration of their efforts. Unity is easily obtained through trust and respect. It is our firm belief that a federation provides such an environment.

2. Regional stability.

The creation of a federation eliminates the need for conflict between member states and serves as a deterrent for neighbouring countries.

3. Economical prosperity.

The federative structure insures healthy economic growth and competition between the economies of the member states, leading to an increased prosperity for all states involved.



II. Federation Structure.

The structure of the Federation consists in the Executive, Legislative and Judiciary branch.

1. The Executive branch is represented by the office of the Chancellor, the supreme office in the Federation. The position is filled by one of the founding countries, in this case, The Principality of Damirez.

2. The Legislative branch is represented by the Parliament of the Federation, which is composed out of representatives from each member country.

a. Every citizen of the Federation has the right to vote for the Parliament.

b. Members of the Parliament are elected in an universal vote.

c. The Parliament does not have the authority to challenge the present act.

3. The Judiciary branch represents the ultimate authority in matters relating to disputes between citizens of the federation. It does not undermine the Judicial Systems of the member countries and should be regarded as a last resort.


III. Essential rights of the Federation citizens

The following laws are to be upheld and respected by member states.

1. Discriminations based on race, sex, color, ethnicity, political beliefs, language or species are prohibited.

2. Discrimination based on the grounds of nationality is strictly forbidden.

3. Equality between sexes, races and species is to be insured.

4. The federation respects cultural, religious and linguistic differences.

5. Citizens of the Federation have the right to move freely on the territory of member states.

IV. Military status of the Federation.

The Armed Forces of the Federation are represented by the entire sum of military assets belonging to its member states. In regards to this matter the following rules apply.

1. The armies of the member states remain under national jurisdiction unless required. A minimum of twenty percent of the army is requested to remain at all times under Federation banner.

2. In the advent of war, the forces of the Federation will act under the command of the Chancellor and the assigned delegates.

3. If asked, members will offer military expertise and assistance to fellow member states.

4. In the advent of a member state facing invasion control over the military assets in said country return to its owner, unless the Federation is at war with the aggressor.

V. Foreign Relations & Representation.

Member states are expected to abide by the following rules regarding conduit in international affairs.

1. Member nations retain a degree of autonomy in foreign affairs, baring full declarations of war. Protectorate nations retain autonomy in regional affairs under the similar clause.

2. The Federation is to be informed of all military dispatches. Permission is not required unless the strategic reserve is touched.

3. In the event of a member state declaring war, unsanctioned by the Federation, the organization retains the right to retain from involvement.

4. Unless stated otherwise, member states act on their own accord. An approval from the Chancellor is required before making claims in the name of the Federation.

5. An unwarranted attack against a member state is considered a declaration of war against the entire Federation.

VI. Code of conduit for members.

Members are expected to respect one another and insure cooperation.

1. Any dispute between member nations is to be solved by the Federation. Conflict is not allowed between members.

2. Member nations will contribute to the budget of the federation with one percent of their total GNP.

The application of the Republic of Shiloba for membership in The Federation has been accepted.

Expert will be dispatched to assist with the integration procedures. Furthermore, we eagerly expect the elected representatives of your nation to arrive at the parliament.
