The morning sun shone on 15 Su-37 Flankers at March AFB, Calizorinstan, the pilots were already up, and they were clambering up into their great steeds. The same was true for the TF-8KZ unit across the field, climbing into the Germantly built airplanes, they started their "Fighting Eagles" up, and the roar of their engines shook the ground, as they taxied out.

Next, the SU-34 Fullback unit, the 155th Attack Unit started up, the sun shone brightly on the windshields of the Fullbacks as they taxied to the hold behind the SU-37 Flankers. Then the RF-4L Phantom III unit started up, the PW1200 engines starting, they taxied to the hold and held behind the SU-37's.

This was Operation:Desert Flag, a joint excercise between the armed forces of Calizorinstan and Central Prestonia..

General Ivanov was looking forward to this. It had been awhile since a wargame had been conducted, and he had always enjoyed flexing his group's power without shedding blood. The airfield was abuzz as the SiK-7s and FA-15Ds lit their turbines and took off. A short distance away, the SAMs were getting solutions on the incoming aircraft. The plan was simple: Establish air superiority and let the ground forces take care of the rest. Wehn the last of the planes had taken off, Ivanov turned the intercom on and addressed his men. "You men of III Army Group have been chosen to take part in this war game in Calizorinstan. The objective is simple. Capture the enemy base and lower his flag. Your guns are rigged to shoot laser beams and the transponder in your helmet or vehicle will beep if you are hit. Do your best and let's show them what Prestonians are made of!"
OOC: To clarify, this isn't an actual war, it's a wargame.

OOC: You need to make that clear from the title, got me all afraid i was gonna hafta get the Hegemony in another war. :p
