IC: Major City of Navisgrad, Totalitarian State of Red Tide
Usually, the TSRT was able to catch 'troublemakers' before they started making... well, trouble. The troublemaking included: rude comment about the state, rude comment about the leaders(and therefore, by extension, the state), complaining about your situation in a way that will blame the state, and so-on and so-forth. But that was most of the time...
"Fellow Red Tideans! Listen to my call!" The individual yelled, standing up on a turned-up-side-down fruit box. "Do you continue to want your families and friends taken away, to who knows where, never to be seen again?! Do you want the government and the General-Secretary, up on his high horse, to continue to lord over you life!?"
A moderate sized crowd had gathered, initially people came to watch the man be dragged away by the NKVD, but when they failed to show up quickly enough... well they began to actually listen. A few had darted off to spread the word.
"I say, NO!" The man continued, "Down with the Totalitarian State! Down with the Tech-Com Corporation! Down with the Red Tide Mafia! Up with Democracy! Up with freedom! Up with-"
Whatever the man said was cut abruptly short when the NKVD(finally) decided to show up. Ten Agents, submachine guns in hand, moved towards the man. They interrupted him.
"You are under arrest for treason. You will come with us peacefully. This is your onl-"
Another interruption.
"NEVER! Totalitarian sc-"
This time, the interruption was made by the submachine gun in the lead agents hand. A small burst put three 6.8mm bullets in three seperate places in the mans head... killing him instantly.
There was a moment of silence, during which the NKVD Agent turned around and spoke to the crowd in that monotonous voice of theirs, "Disperse immediatly and continue about your buisness."
There was a moments silence. Then the entire crowd, as one body, rushed the squad. Even with their superb reaction times, the NKVD Agents had just began to lift their guns when fists, rocks, crowbars, hammers, and feet connected with different parts of their bodies. Most had their submachine gun knocked out of their hands and were beaten to a bloody pulp. One fired wildly into the crowd before being overwhelmed, killing one and wounding three others.
Ten hunters then stripped the NKVD Agents of their submachine guns, one of them stood up on the fruit box and cried: "LONG LIVE THE REVOLUTION!"
More NKVD Agents began showing up, they were being overwhelmed. News began to spread of the revolt. People all over the city attacked NKVD agents, regular policemen, and known government snitches. The city of 460 million was quickly in a uproar. There were plenty of foreigners in Red Tide, the majority being reporters looking to cover the oppressive scenes or tourists who liked to live in dangerous societies. There a few thousand in Navisgrad.
Of course, the government would not let this stand... could not let it stand, less the revolt spread. The military was called in, a army group was sent hurtling down towards the city. The revolutionaries knew that they had just signed the death warrant of every single person in the city of Navisgrad... they did not care. They would either spread the revolution or die trying.
OOC: This is a combination of a character RP and a international RP. You may either play as a person from your nation staying in Navisgrad, or you may RP your nations reaction, whatever that may be, to the revolt and Red Tides heavy handed method with which it is going to deal with it. Or both.
