President Jermaine Owens stood with his foreign affairs officer and his defence minister on his right, and his lovely wife Stefanie Owens, the Health Minister, and the Interior Minister on his left as the national media camera's and video recorders began to ran. Jermaine gave a toothy smile and cleared his throat before speaking.
"Good morning ladies and gentlemen of Bruqarsk and to the fine ladies and gentlement of the world. Today is an historic age as the small nation of Bruqarsk with a vast history and a proud people have decided in a referendum to get out of our isolationist policies that our nation has carried with it for the past 23 years and become a full member of the international community. Therefore, the nation of Bruqarsk, with me Jermaine Owens as the President would be looking forward in advancing our case on the international stage, attracting investment into our extremely valauble resources coinciding with environmental protection which is a key, and having political relations with other Nation-states and trying to cool down some of the conflicts that are raging in the outside community. With that said we are looking to kick off our international relations correctly and there is no better way to do that than with an embassy exchange. So if any national peoples that are watching this broadcast, if you want your government to have good relations with our nation just write them and say so.
