The Vishan Decree of July 10, 2006

The Tournament in the city of Xereveyan has begun today. Presiding over it will be me and the Emperor. The Tournament is open to people from the nations of the world. The prize will be the hand of Princess Xara in marriage. The Tournament will begin in some time (as soon as I get some people in) so any interested should post their information and send it to us so we may know who will be joining in.

We have enclosed information, etc on how to get to Visha and the city of Xereveyan. To all who join, good luck!

The hand of the Princess may not be the only prize. Also, I will begin this once I get a good amount of people in.

The Tournament I guess will be a medieval style one, fighting or jousting or perhaps both. I'm still thinking on how to have it but I do hope some people do post here and send people over to participate in the tourney.

Sean St. Michael of The Community is interested in seeking a bride. He is not a member of royalty, as there is no royalty in The Community, however, he has a distinguished military service record, serving his countrymen with bravery and more concern for the welfare of The Community than for himself. He is not extraordinarily wealthy, but lives comfortably.

He studied at Esmund University, finishing with a double major in Theology and Philosophy. He is fluent in English, French, Latin, Italian, Russian and Cantonese, and conversant in many other languages.

He stands at about 6'1" and weighs 189 lbs. He is skilled in Vardschirm (Siapian Martial Arts), is an excellent marksman with both the rifle and the pistol, knows how to use a sword and a staff, and is a master with the garotte. His hair is brown, but becomes slightly reddish when exposed to the sun for periods of time and his eyes are coffee-colored.

We welcome Sean St. Michael to Visha for him to participate in the tournament. He seems like a excellent person with a good life made for himself.

We will make preparations for Sean's arrival. We will wait still for others to join the tournament.

Note- If only a few join, I'll create people or what not, I guess.

I am sent by the Holy Empire of Omniferis to enter our Holy Prince.
Omniferis X is about 5'9, 230 lbs. of pure muscle. He is a natural at the hand to hand combat, a champion of the Omni Games, and is looking for a bride so he can take the place of his father Omniferis IX as the head of the Empire when the time comes. He has white sholder legth hair, and one brown eye, he lost his left eye do a hunting trip in the forest around the Empire. Du to the Holy teachings he was able to replace it with one of the Gems of Omni. He is a master at the 2 handed and one handed sword, battle axe, and Glave. He is the jousting champion of Omniferis.

Captain Olga Ianovich is just under 6' tall, blonde hair and blue eyes. She has the lean, powerful build of a woman who has dedicated her life to war, and has her hair cut short to conform with SKgorrian military doctrine. Recent Sabre champion at the Confederate games, she is eager to prove her worth in swordplay. A mean shot with assault rifles, she has proved her worth after leading her mechanised company in defence of Skgorria during a border dispute with Grossetape.

Atopiana's meanest, leanest, psychotic psychopath of insane violence and axe-murdery enters himself!

Dave is 6'10" tall, 15 stone six pounds, and can toss a caber fifty feet. He is a Krav Maga expert and can put thirty rounds into a 1p piece at 200m. Blindfolded.

His preferred weapon is the handaxe, and he fights in the Bezerker style of old. But with body armour. He's not stupid. Equally, just in case, he carries an AKS-74U with 40mm grenade launcher and silencer, as well as a full set of night-vision goggles.

He is also a zen master who is at one with the universe. This may or may not have a bearing on the contest... grasshopper. He is also a rabid Wee Free Church of Scotland member who believes in the literal truth of the bible and the evil of the Papacy.

Finally, he mixes a mean cocktail.

I am still open to more people. Soon we will begin.

Here is how it goes out:

Let us say there are two nations going at it: Country X and Y. First is to introduce yourselves (like ''I am Prince Charles of France''.....). Then, you can insult your opponent, say something about the Princess (who is in the audience with her father) or do something else. Then you two can go at it together. Who ever is more describing or what not, I guess will be the winner. The loser can watch the tournament still. So, Country X would win against Y for being more descriptive, I guess. I can change this all or what not if requested.

Visha's Emperor and the Princess will be in the audience as well.

Fair enough - she's coming down from the mountain regions and the weather up there is too bad for aircraft, so she's making her way to a major airport by truck where she will await until given clearance to come :)

You may use your own steeds, if you wish to. Also, it will start soon but we look to see if any one else is interested.

Things like combat and jousting. It is a Medieval Tournament. I will be thinking of what events there will be. I may choose to have it only jousting, who knows?.
