International statement by the Colonial States of 1655's Air Corps:

The 1655 Armed Air Corps is upgrading it's arsenal of airplanes. We are currently searching for;

1) A high-altitude interceptor (fighter) with medium to long-range capability, it should also be able to land/take-off from a small and short runway and be usable on aircraft carriers. Should be able to operate during night-time and harsh weather.

2) A low-altitude fighter-bomber, with stealth capability, able to engage enemy naval forces, inbluding aircraft/helicopters. Should be able to operate during night-time and harsh weather. Should have at least medium-range capability.

3) A high-altitude scout-plane, with stealth capability, able to long-distance ranges. Light armament and countermeasures. Should be able to operate during night-time and harsh weather.

We are prepared to buy production-rights or contract a nation for production of these aircrafts if the offer is satisfying. We also wish to welcome other countries airmen into an exchange-program where we'll discuss tactics, equipment and training procedures.

Neo-Erusean Military Industries(NEMI) has two planes to offer you that qualify for the latter two requests. Our Ts-12 is a plane with similar dimensions as the A-10 Thunderbolt. It has plasma technology (similar to RL Russia's MiG-1.44) that absorbs radar waves and effectively conceals it. That plane can be equiped with a variety of weapons, has an internal 30mm vulcan gun, and can reach speeds of mach 1.2. It is more than capable of engaging helos, and it can defeat attacker planes. However it should try to avoid modern fighters. The plane can operate at night with tropical storm (38mph winds) conditions. The Ts-12, known as the Firefly, can carry a modified version of the exocet missile, that has a range of 150km. Our Ts-12 also has in-flight refueling capabilities, giving the plane an ability to fly as long as the pilot can take.

We would welcome more information about the TS-12 aircraft you informed us about. We would also like to know if you are selling the production rights etc. Please stay in contact.

The latter of the two planes is the TS-23 Ribbon. The is a lightweight, longrange scout aircraft with plasma steakth technology. The plane was developed to replace our aging F-5E Tiger Eye scout planes. The TS-23 can carry a normal arnament for combat missions and has a maximum altitude of 15,000m+. Combined with stealth this plane will become notorios to your enemy on recon missions. Also, like the F-5, the TS-23 can be used as a trainer plane, or an unmaned target drone. NEMI is willing to lease a copy of both of the airplanes designs for a combined price of $25,000.

OOC: Too lazy to do a formal post so here's my entries.

1) SuF-8 Phoenix. This is a long-ranged carrier fighter that fills the role of interceptor. It can be used off aircraft carriers and with slight modifications, off land. It can do everything you want and a lot more. For more info, here's the link to more info on it:

2) SuFB-8 Strike Phoenix. This is a fighter-bomber version of the SuF-8 Phoenix so it offers a lot of commonality between the designs (less logistical problems). It can fly long-ranged strikes and has excellent performance across a wide-range of flight conditions. It has some stealth capabilities (no 90 degree angles, smooth surfaces, RAM coating, blah) that should be enough to fill your needs. It has the added bonus of being capable of being used off aircraft carriers or on land giving it flexibility. Here's the link to it for more info:

Hope to do business soon. :)

For a cost effective solution,Might I sugest the Rive-Yakovlev YaK-41StR
A variation to the Yak-43,The Yak-41StR is a high power carrier capable aircraft that exelce in manuverability and speed. Replacing the Lift Jets with a cost effective and lighter Lift-Fan and replacing the engine alows greater speeds. And with composite material in strategic places,lowers the RCS of the aircraft,not as much as a pure stealth,yet more than a normal fighter. Along with a 3D thrust vectoring exaust alows greater manuverability in normal flight as well as a V/Stol ability.

We would also like to make a plan for payment and delivery, a contract regarding the production of the plane as well as we would like to discuss a future co-operation between your air-forces and our own, as we'd be more than happy to exchange valuable information and resources with your nation.

Regarding the SuFB-8 fighter-bomber we will wait for our own results, as we are currently evaluating a project that's proceeding at the moment.

Money payments will be wired upon confirmation along with a five-year payment plan, as well as we also will consider you our main contractor when it comes to supplying our air corps in the future. Best regards // Minister of defense

OOC: That the scientists are evaluating the 1655 Air Corps own project of a fighter-bomber and comparing it with your version of the fighter-bomber ;)
