OOC: I use MT technology, see my factbook. I've only ever been in one serious war, which was the Pythogrian/Kraven one. Since that got retconned, the only war we've fought in our history was the Irish Civil War.

The Monotheistic Republic

To: LifeWyze Bio Tech. Corporation Pact Members
From: Robert Stonewright, Minister of Finance

The Monotheistic Republic would like to ask that all members whom have a Pact with LifeWyze, if they loose money from the current Jagite-Cruxium War to please keep a record of it--that is of coarse unless you nation offically support Cruxium and its Ban on Religion, then whatever financial losses you suffer are of no concern or interest to the Republic.

For the rest we ask that you be paitent as the current Imperial Government of Cruxium will undergo changes, and their economy will be slowed down due to the War. If you will simply get in contact with the Republic Finance Minister after the war and file a claim--we will ensure that either the Republic or LifeWyze itself pays for the negative effects.

Thank you.

Robert Stonewright,
Minister of Finance,

LifeWyze BioTech is outraged at the nation of Jagada's claim that LifeWyze would reimburse anyone for ill-effects of the war in Cruxium. Fortunately LifeWyze BioTech has currently been unaffected by the illegal naval trade embargo your country has established, however, we are considering taking legal advice against your Government for its' blatent disregard of the financial well-being of LifeWyze BioTech.

Yours Sincerely,
Gilbert Eden,
LifeWyze BioTech Public Relations Division.

Northford
25-05-2006, 18:57
Greetings, friends.

The Commonwealth of Northford has been extreamly impressed recently at the performance of the LifeWyze Corporation, both in terms of it's scientific advances, and it's financial gains.

In response, The Commonwealth of Northford would like to apply to become a R&D partner, as both a show of our support for scientific progression, and, as a sign of solidarity on these times.

As to the issue of what Northford would be able to contribute as a partner; I present the following offer:

10 000 000 000 (TEN BILLION) Universal Standard Dollars per annum in the form of research grants

Bilateral Exchange programs, between both our nations academic institutions

Permission to operate a Laboratory out of Northford, which will, of course, be funded by ourselves, and be designed to your specifications

We Sincerly hope you are interested in our offer.

Regards,

Murray Bruce,

Institute of Scientific Progression,

Northford.

Murray Bruce,
Institute of Scientific Progression,

After careful consideration of your suggestion and a series of background checks into your nation, your desire to enter an R&D pact with LifeWyze BioTech has been accepted. It should be noted, however, that LifeWyze BioTech is an international corportation which considers itself free of national identity.

We are happy to accept $100bn per annum in R&D donations and wish for you to send twenty-five scientists, preferably those involved in pharmaceuticals, genomics and chemistry, to our Research and Development facility atop Tower 3 at Northern Maraque City.

Yours Sincerely,
R.H. Sir James Irvine,
C.E.O. LifeWyze BioTech.

To: R.H. Sir James Irvine,
C.E.O. LifeWyze BioTech
From: Murray Bruce, Institute of Science, Northford.

I am glad that you have accepted our offer. Further more, I accept your note of the LifeWyze's identity of a "Free Company", rather than an arm of a Government.

While this may be true for you, I suppose I might as well explain the situation the Institute of Science has with the Northfordian Government. Simply speaking, we are a group of scientists who are, for all effective purposes, free from government influence. We operate our own lab's, we recruit on our own set Criteria, and research what we want. The government do play a role however, as they provide large amounts of funding and generally subsidise "Youth Science Programs"

In reference to the 25 Scientists, let me provide you with a provisional list of the first ten names. These are people who have given preliminary consent, and are, barring your "Green-light", ready to get on a plane. They all have multiple degree's from our best universities. While a number may be educated in fields other than what you have specified, I assure you they are all suitable:

*Paul Smith: PhD Physics, Maths. BSc Geology

*Abdul Gabriel: MA Maths, Astrophysics. BSc Geography

*Tom Fields: MA Politics&Culture, BSc Biology, Economics

*Paula Green: PhD BioChemistry, BSc Biology

*Sarah Smiles: MA Engineering, BSc Biology and Genetics (Joint Honors)

*Gary Vincent: BSc Biology BSc Genetics BSc Biochemistry (Three Seperate Degree's)

*Samuel Florence: MA Maths, Pharmaceuticals

*Peter Collins: PhD Chemistry BSc BioChemistry

*Leonard Jones: MA Biochemistry BSc Biology

*Kenith Holmes: MA Biology, BSc Ecology and Conservation

~~~
I would have more names, however the is presently a week long chemistry summit in Northford, and therefore a large number of our best scientists are presently unavailable.
In the meantime, once again let me thank you for accepting our offer and good luck for the future.
Regards,
Murray Bruce.
The Royal Apothecary Society, as an authorised representative of the Dominion of Necropatria, hereby requests a formal Research and Development Pact between our two entities. We here at the RAS concern ourselves mainly with the study of Viral, Biological, and Chemical agents, their effects on living life forms, their neutralization, and the potential for a controled use of these agents in warfare. We have also been making headway in experimentation with post-mortem reanimation, its implications, causes, and long-term effects. We await your reply.
Me Li Representative,
It is excellent to see that your Government has met the terms of our agreement, as so many fail to do that which you have. Hopefully our good relations will continue to benefit both of our parties.
In regard to your request for three more MediCare Facilities, our HealthCare Division Director of Expansion has informed me that such a proespect is entirely viable and if you are capable of organizing land and construction crews, work can begin this month with a view of having all three completed early next year.
OOC:I was planning too, and I was also planning on offering your new security forces a training program with my Elite forces....
...I'm just still trying to work out whether or not I can trust you not to jump into bed with Griffincrest.
At the moment, I'm weighing up buying stocks with the idea that it may help me influence LifeWyze away from them, and then offering to train your men, aaaand finally buying a crap load of weapons; against, retracting my research staff that I've got working with you, and cutting my research funding I give.
Either way, the decision I will make will be based entirely on the actions of Griffincrest in the immediate future, and whether or not I actually IC-ly need a corporate ally.
Breakthrough in Genetic Modification
LifeWyze Corporation is proud to announce a breakthrough in the creation of genetically modified foods.
Over the past year, LifeWyze has developed, using pre-existing examples and through several billion dollars of research, four new products.
NuPotatoes: Approximately 20% larger than an average cooking potatoe that grows in 1/3rd of the time. A single side effect was discovered in that they are very hardy and likely to begin sprouting off-shoots as soon as two weeks after harvesting.
NuTomatoes: Three times the size of an average tomatoe with red and green striping, it has been nicknamed the 'Tiger Tomatoe', a single vine is capable of produce ten of these per month.
NuWheat: Faster growing, these stalks of wheat reach maturity within 5 days, however have an increased spoilage time. Further research is being carried out in an attempt to address the spoilage problem.
BioWyze: A probiotic drink that contains positive bacteria. It is akin to other such drinks as Muller's 'Vitality' and the leading brand 'Yakult'.
Growth of crops is to begin immediately at an undisclosed location to fulfill deals with both Cruxium and Infinite Crucible.
BioWyze is to go on sale at five major retailers and the PharmaCare Outlets and will be available in over fifty countries within a week.
