Security Council to Investigate LifeWyze
League of Nations HQ, Carmina Gadalica-
(http://s11.invisionfree.com/wargamestest/index.php?)
The LON SC has put forward a resolution to order an investigation into LifeWyze Bio Technology Company for the selling of Hazerdous weapons on the open market, and possibly into the black market.
(http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=483424) The resolution was filed by Magic Sorcery, when it showed the information. The SC says the situation is unrelated to the current situation in Cruxium. While many say LifeWyze is a good company because of it's medical and biofarm technology, the SC members disagree. "wolves in sheeps clothing, nothing more." Says M.S. Diplomat Yukito Tomarie.
"There is nothing honerable about selling downright dangerous items to miltaries. I don't care if only a handfull of nations outlaw chemical and bioweapons, they are dangerous, cheep and dirty fighting tools, used by terrorists. Any nation that buys and uses such weapons, deserves to be condemed."
We are awating comment from LifeWyze Tech.
AP-According to the F.B.I. Cute Bunny Burger co. One of the most popular fast-food resteraunts in Kanami, may be shut down for their conections to LifeWyze Company. LifeWyze is being cited for by the LON security council for their merchnadice and practices.
Minister of the Interor Jason Izen told us: "Cute Bunny was told of the regulations, it must operate. It's a franchise chain, it answers to the Corperate HQ, and if the HQ answers to LifeWyze, how can we turst it."
No comment yets from Cute Bunny Co
LoN Representatives,
LifeWyze BioTech is an upstanding member of the international commercial community. Every one of its' customers are carefully screened before any transactions are made. Should the LoN feel it neccessary to send impartial inspectors to investigate our company then LifeWyze shall be as accomodating as possible.
Currently, LifeWyze BioTech revenue is dominated by its' Biological and Chemical Warfare Solutions Division- in the sale of hazmat suits, vaccinations and cantagion containment facilities. The sale of biological and chemical weaponry is the smallest earning LifeWyze Division, not considering BioFarm Projects.
Yours Faithfully,
Sir James Irvine,
C.E.O. LifeWyze BioTech.

Priests of the Order of the Listening Ear have considered investigating this company, but have not actually tried yet. This investigation is applauded by the Great and Holy Second Tribunal.

Geneticon recommends that the LON not interfere. These are dangerous times, and it is highly important for every county to have these kinds of weapons in their arsenal. We would venture to guess that each of the LON nations themselves have Chemical/Biological weapons, and they are therefore in no position to make this accusation or resolution.
LifeWyze is a good business that is entirely legal. We suggest that you do not interfere.
Official Statement
LifeWyze would like to extend a thank you to Geneticon for its' support in this matter. In order to appease current upstarts, LifeWyze will be releasing a public financial statement.
Sir James Irvine,
C.E.O. LifeWyze BioTech.

OOC: Isent LifeWyze (or something liek that) in "Oryx and Crake", by Margaret Atwood
(OOC: I was inspired by the book actually. LifeWyze is similar to HelthWyzer, though I didn't realise the name similarity until I re-read the book two days ago. Most names are inspired by her plays on words, such as MediCare, EduCare, AlteredSatian and PorGan. Similarly, the organization itself has aspects taken from the Compounds she devised, though it is by no means a company influenced solely by Orxy and Crake. I'm glad someone finally picked up on the link, my friend had a good laugh over AlteredSatian.

Polockistan urges the LoN to reconsider in this manner. If free trade is to be established throughout the world, corporations should be able to act freely. If the League refuses to acknowledge the rights of all companies, then it would set a precedent for any organization of nations to interfere with the rulings of any nation, anywhere.

If Bio/Chemical Weapons, weapons that bring mass death and desturction, weapons that kill innocent civilians two-fold, is protected by "Free trade"
Then I shudder to think what other things could be protected under free trade. What's next human traficing becomes protected? I fear the saftey of the world. Dear Yukito Tomarie:
It is important to remember that LifeWyze's business practices do not give a foreign nation, or a group of foreign nations the right to infringe upon its rights. It is up to the country the company is headquartered in to investigate, and a foreign body assuming that role without permission from the government would be a violation of that nation's sovereignty, akin to annexation, the kind of annexation Hitler did to Austria.

We representing Wasted America belive that all bio-weapons/research are protected under free trade. As is gen-human trade.
People come first. Especially people that are at risk. While the LON does recognize the Soverignty of the nation, we find it irrlelvant when it comes to matters of terrorism, death, war, destruction, contamination, and fall outs. The Company has branched out internationally, therefore it is now under INTERPOL's and the SC's legal jurisdiction to investigate.
We do appreciate LifeWyze beeing cooperative in allowing inspectors.

OOC: yeah, I found all those names amusing. I had just read it over a month ago, its a very good book, what did you think of it?
(OOC: Well I first read it several years ago and didn't appreciate the subtle humour back then. It is a very powerful book in my opinion and one of my favourites. Personally I think that the history of Orxy was unneccessary as, while she was immensely influential, she wasn't a very expanded upon character. Aside from that, an incredible book. I'm buying one of her earlier works, The Handmaid's Tale, today.)
Official Statement
LifeWyze BioTech currently operates two Administrative Hubs within two countries, Maraque and Cruxium. While we would like to invite you to inspect our Cruxium facilities, we regret that the Government has rejected our bid to allow you to do so in light of the pending invasion. However, we would very much like you to inspect our Maraque, Hamilay, Polockistan, Rhominia, Danteri & Tomba-Bill facilities with a view of inspecting our Cruxium branches once the Government allows it.
While LifeWyze regrets the decision of the LoN to inspect a law abiding company when there are other sources, such as the The NSSR now making its' own Biological and Chemical weaponry with the refusal of LifeWyze, it non-the-less is willing to allow an investigation to prove its' clean business practices and improve its' corporate image.
LifeWyze is also working the CBBC to bring healthier foods to the market.
