PRA Health Services

Finally, after months of waiting, Pale Rider Arms has released its line of Combat Augmetics to the world market! Battlefield maimings will be a thing of the past with the high quality items offered by PRA. We also endorse our services as replacements for biological equivalents on uninjured patients.

All limbs are crafted from titanium and lightweight ceramics, using the highest grade optronics. Each limb has an internal battery, and will maintain power for 72 hours. A recessed hand crank can supply emergency power, at a rate of 5 minutes of activity per one minute cranking. Recharging is normally done during the sleep cycle, where the patient plugs the item into a wall socket. Each limb contains complete sensory capabilities, with a hidden LCD touch screen allowing control over the exact sensitivity of the arm, from ultra-fine tuned senses to no feeling at all.

With respect to your augmentation service available I wish to enquire to the level of service life available to the hand augmentation, any treatment that should be sought to encourage healthy usage of the augmentation and also the dexterity it permits.

Service life is theoretically unlimited, assuming the patient has yearly check-ups to clean, recalibrate and repair the limb. Dexterity is fully that of a normal human hand, although we plan to release models with improved ranges of motion. Strength of the limb is also optimized, so it may take some time to become used to the heightened capabilities. We recommend training with the limb extensively so that the user is fully aware of his potential.

Assuming such yearly services are conducted by yourselves and not a sourced contractor Edgewood would like to pay for the services of one left hand to be fitted as replacement for a Cornelius Porter. The patient in question will be transferred to your facilities in due course once an appointment can be arranged, payment will be made in two payments if acceptable.
