As it stands now the Jedi weak but in power over Sith. The Sith are close behind by a rare Rakata and his apprentice. They have finished training and have set out for real testing. They are currently on the world of Random III the homeworld of the Rakata Master. The Galactic Empire has collapsed almost to a fall but still rules. The republic and all hope is decimated for them after a 3rd and 4th Deathstar. The Sith Master and his apprentice are in the Sector: Outer Rim F-4 , System: Formerly Ehjenla (actual Name), Galactic Coordinates: -125, 408, System Coordinates: 11, 18, Cold/breathable planet. The planet is barely inhabited. There are a few villages in the glaciers. The planet has Rock, Glaciers, Lava, and Craters. The apprentice is here to learn what it was like in these harsh climates.

OOC: I'm switching to a Rakata instead of a Wookie

Bandon walked onto the exit ramp and entered the frigid lands. He felt a chill shoot down his spine as the cold air touched his skin. "Not very hospitable, is it?" Bandon said as he walked off the ramp and touched ground.

He pulled his cloak tight around him as it concealed his lightsaber and protected him from the elements. "So... what are we doing here master?"

"I was left here. Left here to die. I am the last of exactly 100 Rakata. I knew the force but had a dark tinge. I am the spawn of Darth Revan himself. He visited my planet and met my mother. They spawned me. Angry with my exitence the threw me in the Glaciers on this planet. I grew up here alone. I taught my self everything and even created my own lightsaber. Rock and Ice hilt with a silvery-blue blade. I still use it. I will show you here how to fend off the elements. Here you will relive what I have already lived."

ooc: couple of comments
a) if you are supposedly the leading sith lord in the galaxy and I am your apprentice... I would most likely be one of the strongest in the galaxy as well. (As Dooku was to Sidius). So... yeh... I doubt I would be learning simple things.
b) There is almost 0 chance for Revan to spawn a child with a Rakata. Interspecies was rare... and the chance that the strongest Sith Lord in the Galaxy (at the time) did it...
c) If you taught yourself everything you know... well lets just say you wouldn't be that powerful. Ever powerful sith lord and jedi, ever (since the first one) has had a master or teacher to help him. (Sidius was an apprentice, Dooku was an apprentice, Yoda was a student, Obi-Wan, Mace Windu, Sora Bulq, Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader, Luke Skywlaer... they were all students. No jedi or sith was capable of teaching themselves everything and become the most powerful in the galaxy.

a) I'm not the strongest. I'm just the leader. No one has opposed me. Remember the Sith and Jedi are weak.

c) Interspecies is Highly rare but on the Kotor Game it did say he was there. It's just for fun and to give reason for me to be here.

"Alright then," Bandon replied, "I am open to what you have to teach."

He looked around into the distance and saw little of anything.

"First you must deal with the weather. It is frigid here. Strip down to your underwearings and lay in the cold."

"Very well," Bandon said though he was displeased. He pulled off his large robe and dropped it to the ground in a large heap. Unattaching his lightsaber, Bandon continued to remove his clothes and was eventually standing there with only his thing underwearings on.

It was quite cold there though his massive body mass helped to insulate him. He began concentrating on the force and attempted to use it to warm his body.

"Now. You must find food. Use only the Force. I will follow you but I will not help."

His body warmed slightly from the force but he ended his concentration in order to find food. He began searching the are for any sign of life but could not sense any in the immediate area. He began walking to find food while continuing to search the area.

After a walk (fast pace and long strides) of about ten minutes, Bandon stopped abruptly. His mind began searching the area as he felt something in the force. He scanned the distance and noticed a wolf looking for food of its own.

Carefully, yet speedily, Bandon ran towards the wolf, making sure not to startle it. When he was no more than twenty feet away, he ignited his lightsaber which alerted the wolf. Its head perked up and looked at Bandon as he ran headlong at it. Before the wolf could move, Bandon lifted into the air, using the force, and in one swift move had cut its head off.

"Ahhh. Alas you have failed. I instructed to use the Force and Force alone. A lightsaber is a tool of the Force but does not posses the Force itself. Has all I have taught you for not?"

"Pardon my impudence, but your words were that I must use the force to find food... not to kill the food," Bandon said in a submissive and yet telling tone. "I used the force to locate and hunt down the food as well as preventing its escape... the lightsaber only dealt the finaly blow."

"Good. You read my words carefully and were not afraid to stand up to your superior. You are smart. Now tell me. Has the col consumed you yet?"

"I do not believe so," Bandon replied as he accepted the compliment with silence. "I am still standing... still breathing... my heart still beats and I am still consciouss. No the cold hasn't consumed me yet... though it is in no way confortable," Bandon replied.

"You shall stand enjoy your feast. You must eat raw. No way for fire here. Let me know when you are cold."

Darth Tures stood. Facing the cold of the weather.. and his childhood. He waited for Bandon to finish his face. He sat in the snow. He began to meditate waiting. Waiting as if for a future or for an event that would never come.

IC:

"Very well," Bandon replied as he sat down on the cold ground and began tearing chunks of meat off of the wolf. He began tearing bigger and bigger pieces off and devouring them equally as fast; he had a large appetite.

Feast... hah! This skinny wolf doesn't have enough meat on it for one meal

He finished the meal and as the blood rushed to his stomach to digest the food, he felt slightly colder.

After a few hours of sitting in the snow, practically naked, and not making an attempt to warm himself up, Bandon felt cold. "I am cold now master."

OOC: The planet has very small lava pits so I would tell ya to start there.

ooc: sorry about not posting, I have been out. You don't need to bump the thread though - I have it subscribed and open so that I can just refresh it.
IC:

"Very well..." Bandon said as he got to his feet. His body looked very white and pale due to the frigid temperatures and snowy ground.

Turning in a three hundred and sixty degree circle, Bandon scanned the horizon for anything that could be used for warmth. To the east there seemed to be something that looked promising - a series of small mountains.

Maybe I can find something warming there... maybe some shelter

He bent down and picked up the wolf's skin which he had previously cut off from the meat, and draped it around his neck. It was a small wolf and he was a big man, so the fur barely covered anything and did not provide much warmth - some, but not much.

He began walking in the direction of the mountains that lay in the distance. It was a long walk. Many hours of freezing in the cold as he made his way to them. But finally, he arrived at the base. He walked around the mountain until he found a path that led up the side. It wasn't a very big mountain, nor very steep, but the path was long and winding as he made is way around and through the mountains.

After another long walk he finally reached something that would be warming - he found a cave. Looking inside, he made sure there were no other inhabitants, before settling in. Though, he decided he still needed something that would warm him, rather than just keep him warm - so he made a mental note of where the cave was and then set out again.

He hadn't walked very far this time, maybe five minutes at the most, when he noticed steam rising up from an area above where the cave was located. He climbed the path and found a bubbling pit of red liquid.

Lava?

It was quite warming as he put out his hands over the lava and felt the heat emanating from it. He sat down on the edge as close as he could and allowed the lava to warm his blood.

OOC: alright

IC: Darth Tures teleported next to Bandon. He felt the warmth.

"Think. Think about all the snow. All the cold. Think. Then how warm are you."

Bandon did mot move as Tures arrived but stayed next to the lava pit and warmed himself. He began thinking about the snow and cold as he looked out from the cliff and saw nothing but snow.

...I am warm still

"I feel quite warm," Bandon replied, "This lava pit is quite helpful."

"Good. You are dirty. Blood, sweat, tears, snot. It covers your face and body. You must bathe. I don't want to kill another apprentice. How do you think I bathed?"

With barely thinking about it, Bandon replied, "Melting the snow into water with the heat of the lava?"

"No didn't work. Water too cold. Snow too cold. I would strip to nothing and lay in the snow. Lay until I had frostbite and couldn't feel a thing. I would then dip into the lava for about 1 minute. Then I would jump out and lay in snow. I repeated this several times."

"That seems a little harsh..." Bandon replied. "To each his own."

He then took a handful of snow and tossed it into the lava; he watch as the snow melted quickly and was mixed into the orange liquid.

IC: Yes Harsh. It's how I lived.

"I am sure you did," Bandon replied.

The heat from the lava had warmed him considerably, so he decided to return to the cave. Making a mental note of the location of the lava pit was not hard considering it was above the cave and less than two hundred feet away.

He stood up and started walking back down the winding path. He soon found himself at the familiar cave, in which he entered and lied down on the wolf's skin.

"Now you rest. Later you won't"

"Fine," Bandon replied indignantly as he closed his eyes to rest.

Within moments he relaxed into a meditative sleep.
