Raoul Rossi, Chancellor of the USSM, opened the conference:

I am glad that so many representatives of the countries and religions of our great region, Pan Horvathia, chose to attend this event. Religious tolerance is not merely something that would benefit our region, instead it is the only thing that will allow our great region to survive.

I would like to especially thank all of the representatives that have attended the opening ceremony of this conference. I would like to thank:
- HORVATH II and the Horvathian Knight Andrew Latora, representing global Horvathianism
- The five McVania representatives of HOPE
- U, the representative of (USS)Mulhollandgradian Hope
- Nathaniel Cardinal Wizard, the representative of Mulhollandgradian Bradonianism.
- The Jacotian Representative, Patrick Michaels.
- James Summers, Foreign Minister and Minister of NUBOS Implementation for the United Socialist States of Mulhollandgradia.

May the sacrifice of KATHRYN's life for this cause, give us the motivation to reach agreement on this vital issue. FOR THE GLORY OF THE WORKING MAN!

The representative from Jacotia, Mr. Patrick Michaels, has arrived and would like to thank the USSM for their hospitality thus far.

Foreign Minister and Minister of NUBOS Implementation James Summers approached the representative of Jacotia, shook his hand, and declared:

I am very glad that you have made the wise decision to attend The KATHRYN, Chancellor of the USSM, Conference on Religious Tolerance (KURT). Let me know if I can be any help to you at the conference.

Please when you are ready, give a presentation on the religious situation in your country. Do you have any of the religions represented at this conference in your country?

Finally, I am excited to tell you that Achmed the Snake has declared his intention of attending the conference. FOR THE GLORY OF EVERYONE!

Emmissary Wayne Bruce of the Confederacy of The Promethians makes his presence known and wishes good tidings to the attendees of the KURT summit. Bruce is a tall, dark man dressed in the robes of a Horvathian Knight; however, he bears no symbols of the religion on his person. It remains to be seen whether this is an ideological decision, or simply one of fashion

James Summer, a bearded man short in stature, approaches Emissary Wayne Bruce. He shakes his hand, expressing the USSM's appreciation that the Promethians sent a representative to the conference. He then said:

Mr. Bruce, I must apologize for the delays so far at the Conference. Several of the other countries, although at the conference, have not checked in yet. Further, because of these delays, Chancellor Raoul Rossi had to leave the conference to be selected as Chancellor after the new election. We expect his prompt return.

The conference should start soon, please have your presentation on the religious make-up of the Promethians prepared and the status of religious tolerance in your country. Thank you again for coming and let me know if you need any help with anything.

Greetings to all representatives from Pan Horvathia and many thanks to Chancellor Raoul Rossi for hosting KURT during a time when religious conflict is rampant throughout Pan Horvathia. My country is experiencing conflicts between the nature-worshipping Raeans and the devil-worshipping cannibalistic Gayans (we support religious freedom so devil-worshipping is not forbiden but the people eating has got to stop--the Raeans don't even eat animals!). We also have concerns that the citizens of McVania are forced into the religion HOPE by M. I think we should start the forum by discussing the separation of church and state so dictators cannot force religion upon their people and kings cannot form new religions so they can divorce their wives.

The Promethian Emmissary's eyes gleam for a moment as his mouth contorts in a sneer that surely was intended as a gracious smile gone terribly wrong. He shakes the small bearded man's hand before taking up a seat along the nearest wall to pour over an assortment of charts detailing the demographics of the Confederacy.

Patrick Michaels has this to say about religion in Jacotia:

"Jacotia really has no religion in particular. In fact, about 60% of the nation is agnostic. Many Jacotians simply do not care for religion, causes too much violence and persecution really. The rest of the country is a mix between Christians, Jewish, Islamic, Hopists, a few that still worship the ways of Harai, and of the course the delightful folk who still worship the Roman gods. There is little, if any persecution of religious beliefs in Jacotia. Whenever there is, the law is brought down upon them immediately."

Nathaniel Cardinal Wizard, leader of Mulhollandgradian Bradonianism, raises his hand for a question to the previous speaker Patrick Michaels. The chair of the panel James Summers recognizes him and he asks:

Are there any people in Jacotia that believe in Bradonianism, Christian Communism, or Horvathianism? If not, what do you attribute this trend to? Further, would your humble government be offended at the request to establish missions (tolerant and non-preachy) from Bradonianism, or other religions, in the Democratic Republic of Jacotia? :confused:

I was not aware Brandonism even existed in Jacotia. Most Brandonists stay in the USSM. I've heard of maybe one or two, but on the whole, Brandonism does not have even a small following in Jacotia.

Premier Nathaniel Cardinal Wizard responded:

Thank you very much for your prompt answer. I am proud to announce that I won the election to be the mayor of the federal city, Bradonia, Taylorian Islands. I consequently participated, with the ten other mayors, in demanding that the United Socialist States of Mulhollandgradia (USSM) be dissolved and replaced by a loose confederacy styled the Confederate Sociocracies of Mulhollandgradia.

In the new CSM, the former federal cities will become autonomous sociocracies that can run their own affairs and participate globally independently. Therefore, the largely autonomous sociocracy of Bradonian is now a home for all Bradonians. Any Bradonian is now given automatic citizenship in the Sociocracy of Bradonian. The future of the Bradonian religion is no longer in any doubt.

In my humble opinion, vast multitudes of innocent people die over trivial religious disputes ranging from battles over land (material, earthly land that won't matter when we're dead) and beings that we think and want to believe exist but have never and may never see. I think our religions should be based on what we have on this earth--each other and our natural environment. May I ask the opinions of my fellow members of KURT on this matter?

What you speak of is precisely what HORVATH II has been advocating, although I am doubtful of how it could be implemented. Our religion advocates real change within this world as the only method to bring about salvation. This begs the question, in the end, isn't religion about giving purpose? What would the proposed common purpose be for all of these great and historic religion? If you could answer this is would be great FOR THE GLORY OF HUMANITY!

In light of the fact that now the 11 Premiers of the CSM have full executive power (although represented by NUBOS Minister James Summers), I would be more than honored to implement any solutions decided upon today. Please may there be peace between my brethen sociocracies and the Nomadic People's of the Isle of Rae. Perhaps even further, you should give serious thought to confederating with us or joining the NUBOS Alliance. THIS IS FOR THE GLORY OF THE HORVATH, NUBOS, AND THE WORKING MAN!

I would like to announce today to all representatives and dignitaries, that effective today the position of Chancellor has been eliminated in a Constitutional Convention regarding the creation of a new country, the Confederate Sociocracies of Mulhollandgradia. Although, I was not even selected to remain in the Horvathian Parliament, I have decided now to permanently retire from politics.

Despite, all of the efforts I made, I have failed in my purpose to keep the USSM united and make it stronger. Now, I see it fracturing apart into inevitably bickering sociocracies. I would pray, if I knew how, that their promise of unity in the new Constitution would hold true.

I have decided that I will form an organization designed to promote religious tolerance, called KORT (KATHRYN's Organization for Religious Tolerance). Besides promoting religious tolerance, KORT will educate against terrorism and promote non-violence. ALL OF THIS IS FOR THE GLORY OF NUBOS AND THE WORKING MAN!
