Several ships rumbled along as there engines revved up there destination was a large sector of space targeted for colonization so far out it would be virtually impossible to access buy any other race besides ones with advance fold drives .
The ships charged up there hyper warp drives and whooshed out in enormous glows of blue white lights about 50 ships and 100 colony ships bursted out in to hyper sub space, going at amazing speed. There saucer sections and hulls gleamed in a massive white blue light as they rushed out of the milky way and through several galaxy’s. when they finally stopped they were in a totally new sector And a new area of space. These ships were lead buy the USS Colombia a Neptune class star ship fallowed buy various other classes. the ships came to a halt as they floated in to the new space light gleaming on there hulls as there engines rumbled, the sound reverberating through the bridges.
Mean while on the lead ship the captain was working on his padd in his ready room, reading his favorite book hamlet, when his first officer beeped the door, he yelled out “come in“, and the door wooshed open reviling a some what middle aged man with salt and pepper hair. He smiled and sat down
“well sire this is exciting, we’ve discovered our first system, that we can colonize, its class M and can support a large population”
the captain said “well that’s good news lets start the process then tell helm to get us to the system ASAP”
the Xo responded ”yes sir”
“ohh one more thing!” the Capitan exclaimed with urgency the Xo turned back, and the CO said “Make sure we don’t violate Gaian Ascendancy space, I don’t want a war, that and Starfleet will bitch me out about it”
the xo nodded and said “we seem to be right near there border though” then he walked out the ship started to move again the convoy warped out towards the new system
