Everyone submits a character. This character is a Spolotikopian citizen who is either about to enlist in the Spolotikopia Peace Corps or is a member of the Peace Corps. If need arises, I might request other characters that I would need. Then, we would have a storyline about what happens to these people in their work for the Peace Corps. (Hint: They will probably go on a specific mission.)

If you are planning on having them join, I may have you fill out the form used for new volunteers before the "job interview".

Please post interest, I really think this would make a good idea. Comments, criticism, etc. are urged! Even if you don't like it. However, keep in mind, this is not a sign-up thread; so don't post characters. I just want to see if this could work, so please post if would be interested in doing this.

Keep in mind; this is my first RP, I am a newbie, please cut me a little slack. Also, my parameters for the RP are very loose, very open, so any ideas, please ask. Say you want to be a grizzled volunteer; be my guest, ask away.

Well, at this stage, I'll accept any posts; so yeah, why not. Tell all your friends, get everyone to join. Any comments on how to attract more people to join or on making it better?

As to how to get people to join, that is a matter of luck, what people think of the thread and if you have a good idea.
As to making it good, why not either have a war, plague or disaster, or find someone willing to have the incident happen, and send your peace corp people in.

Well, of course there will be a disaster. If we get enough people, I could split them up. Perhaps this could be a monthly thing if it gets popular enouh; I could have people get to go on a different mision regularly.

As for your character, is there any specific work she enjoys doing for the Peace Corps? And by new volunteer, you mean she already joined, right?

Yes to already a member, and as to work, basically any work, as long as it benefits people.

Age: 46

Appearance: Heavily built, 5'11", black/grey hair, light stubble, light scarring on face and arms and heavy scarring on right shoulder

Personality: Helpful, intelligent, but doesn't take kindly to idiots
Level of participation: Has worked with the Peace Corps since one year ago

Info: Trained helicopter pilot. Served as a helicopter pilot in the Taldaani 6th Airborne Assault Division, before being wounded heavily in battle and forced by his injuries to leave the armed forces. He has since recovered enough to fly helicopters with the same skill he used to have, but cannot rejoin active service as his injuries are still debilitating. As someone who has seen war from the inside, he knows about the horrors of it.
