A subspace transmission was quetly recieved by a remote exploration sphere. It recognised the language codes immediately as the vanquished ally East Coast Federation.

It did two quick gate hops to apoint that the collective estimated to be 0.5 lightyears away from their border.

Transmission:
"This is the Borg Collective of Blackgrue calling the East Coast Federation. Please respond."

The Admiral on the Coxaxile heard a horrible sound and slapped the COMM button. " Who the fuck are are you? Who is the east coast federation? You are transmitting to them. You are nearing Terra Empire space. Do not move from your crouse. You are in clear violation of treaty. "

He leaned back in his seat. " Helm, engage the engines at maximum speed and go to maximum warp. Red Alert. "

The battleship jumped into warp. After a minute or so of flight. It dropped out once again. To find it facing a rather large sphere.

" Sir, they have 3 times our mass and I cant tell anything about the weapons compliment. "

" Hail them " The captain snapped.

" Captain to enemy vessel. Please state your intentions. "

If the crew of the sphere were piloted by any other race, they'd be paniking. luckily the collective had evolved beyond such animalistic tendencies.
