Late last night at about 11 o clock there have been reports of Interlosian spys going over the border of Harbinza. Both Interlosia and Harbinza are in the same area of St Lucia and Julio. 2 spys apparantly got past the police with use of bribing to get the the Harbinza's capital. The spys reportedly got so close that the president was within touching distance. Both spys were not captured but have not been seen heading back to their homeland of Interlosia. Harbinza Agents are on the case to find out why these spys were spying on harbinza. The Leader of Interlosia had this to say

"I have no reports of my people moving into Harbinza... This is just wrong. We would never spy on Harbinza, the founder of our great region St Lucia and Julio. However I must apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. If they are our people we will deal with them in our own way if they are found. I stress that as the president of Interlosia we will be keeping an eye on our people to stop this happening in the future...Thank you

The president of Harbinza has not responded has yet to the goings on last night but a speech is likely in the near future.

Upon hearing leaked rumours to popular newspapers, today a statement issued by the King of Harbinzia, confirmed that espionage had taken place. Currently 6 Interlosian spies are being held by one of the worlds most renowned secret agencies. News of this has not come as a shock to most Harbinzian residents as they are used to espianage missions as it is something of the regions culture. Residents were glad to hear comments this evening made by King Patterson.

Today not for the first time spies have been captured watching our nation, although our welcome neighbours Interlosia are responsibe,they must be warned as no nation within the region may corrupt the harmony of our private business. I hereby warn all that threaten however as this is a region specialty the prisoners will be released and warned. We do not wish conflict as our nation is undergoing development

The Interlosia leader has made a public speech on these 6 spys who were captured and released by the Harbinza Government.

"I must thank King Patterson of Harbinza for sending my people back but I must stress that we did not send in those spys and we will be treating those 6 individuals with internal discipline. This seems as though it will stop the slight rift between Interlosia and Harbinza. May both Nations be at peace.

After an Interlosian public apology, a brief statement has arisen in the depths of the night. King Patterson of Harbinzia wishes to create a treaty of rights. As the Original co-founder of the St Lucia and Julio region, I call upon all nations to sign the following treaty of rights. You have the untill Monday 9th May to respond after which the first interregion conference will take place at a prearranged messenger website. All who wish to sign the treaty do so by typing their nations name and your correct initials after this post. To all I hope you sign, those who do not shall be unaffected but will be unable to attend the weekly conference.

The Treaty of Rights
1. All nations shall act in a non violent manner towards any nation in the St Lucia and Julio region
2. Defense relies upon numbers, all those who sign the treaty of rights must defend any other nation under threat, of whom has also signed the treaty.
3. Trade tariffs shall be non existent within our region however when trading to other nations who lye in other regions, tariffs are held at a harsh 150% of taxation.
4. The interregion conference shall elect its first chairman/woman at the first meeting, this will be done with a ballot of votes. The chairman/woman shall regin forth for one month before a re-election takes place.

"I have read the Treaty of Rights and I believe in everything that they say. This will make our region Closer and more STRONGER! I agree with all the points given by King Patterson. My people in Interlosia are Overjoyed at the prospect of joining with such a Economically Brilliant Harbinzia. We can only hope that in future we can be as succesful as them. However relations between Interlosia and Harbinzia have been troublesome recently but with this we can begin to mend things. A Rather long speech by King Marriott but it seems he at least has a strong alliance with Harbinzia even though a recent rift. We shall see in the near future whether Others will sign.

Reports are coming in from Interlosia that their Economy is Booming and they are in the process of manufacturing arms. This could come as a threat to the nations of St Lucia and Julio but King Marriott assures them that they are clearly for defense only purpose and for help against Nations who may attack Harbinzia

This has raised questions over his fitness to run a world power and continue to become candidate for the interregion conference chairsperson.
With the news of booming economies in the region King Patterson has lost ground in the what seems an arms race.
However it is rumoured that he is happy with the regions, nations progression and feels no need for competition.

The sick King Patterson has today heard of the troopers stationed outside his and Dictator Marriots Nations, he has issued this statement.

Harsh words there from Dictator Marriott. Is he right? Can St Lucia and Julio Flourish without wealthy Nations? With Interlosia as one of the wealthy ones, how will they feel having to spend their money for other countries? We can only wait and find out. Relations in the alliance between Interlosia and Spandazia must be strained now. We wait for a possible reply from King Patterson or Dictat Hansen. In agreement to the Dictator of Interlosia, today the Senator of Borderlands issued a statement regarding funds provided by the country Spandazia, but first he was delighted to sign the treaty joining him with other strong countries, and controversially, Spandazia.

"We sign this treaty as a proposal of peace and security to the nations surrounding St.Lucia and Julio. We however, question the involvement and signing of the democratic republic of spandazia as their economic state is far below ourselves, their struggling economy is seen as a weakness by this proud nation and we feel that in a war, they would be able to offer very little help and we are disturbed by this fact"

Backing up interlosia's ideas, the borderlands will surely gain many political friends with these comments but a population on 9 million may be against it.

"Following recent comments made by other countries in the region, it has become blatantly obvious that i am not wanted due to my poor countries economy. As the Largest Nation in the region I hereby Defend Spandazia, Dictator Hansen signed the Treaty Of Rights therefore he should be treated with respect, he may not have the greatest economy but he is willing to aid my cause therefore I lend my full support to him and his nation.

The unknown country clearly Harbinzia has expressed their disgust at this lack of cooperation between nations and does not understand why Bordering Countries, contradicts themselves as they say that they have signed the treaty but then they go on to criticise one of the nations, of which they should be friendly with but then go on to say that this is ok.

These statements must be stopped and I'm sure that this will be one of the major contributary factors to the interregional conference on Tuesday, the first Chairsperson is not going to have an easy first term in charge.

"Hello, to all the nations in the alliance and St Lucia and Julio. I must state that I am happy that the Bordering countries are not going to rage war on Spandazia. Tomorrow the votes are counted and the first chairsperson is elected, if there is to be a draw or tie in votes then there will be two or more standing chairspersons for the remainder of their one month term in charge.
Votes and Voters will be displayed therefore everybody knows who has voted for who. The Interregional conference will be held once a week on a tuesday, this is negotiable, however those who continue to be unavailable will be excluded from then on.

Already it seems there are many rifts between nations and the Treaty of Rights was created in order to stop this from occuring :confused:

Controversial statement by the senate of Borderlands today following vote results

" Are country is around weaker than The Disputed Territories of Interlosia and The Democratic Republic of Spandazia also soon to be taken over by The Emirate of Mandir, but we are not the weakest!! I will not mention any names of countries cause that would be wrong but i think most people have a pretty good idea who it may be!!"

Tonight Dictator Marriott decided to release this following statement on the election of Dictat Hansen.

"We in Interlosia, one of the RICHEST nations in St Lucia and Julio only to be rivaled by The Bordering Countries are shocked and appaled by these latest elections. Where I live which is Interlosia, elections are outlawed and only the Rich and Powerful get the most important jobs. I mean no offence to my own people as steps are already in place to make their quality of life better. However back onto topic. I may have voted for Dictat Hansen but I wish for him to step down and hand it over to much better Chairsperson in ME! The Interlosian people are shocked and embarrassed by these events. How can such a poor economically developed country be the main spokesperson for the rest of us. THIS IS AN OUTRAGE! Ok I agree that I did apologise for my comments before hand in one of my earlier speeches to do with Spandazia's poor economy but for something as important as the treaty of rights, something must be done to get this...this...this ogre of a country from taking such an important role. However tomorrow if that is the date for the first discussions, I will be there wherever it is held. To conclude my speech, I must say that if this is not resolved quickly. Heads will roll. Dictator Marriott with an Aggressive speech clearly for the Dictat of Spandazia. He is not happy, it seems that even though the treaty of rights has been signed, trouble is definitely on its way and who knows whether the first discussions will go well. From this news, signs do not look good.

Dictat Hansen quickly responded, upon picking his child up from Breadfordshire county private school.

"Do you not understand the idea of democracy, Dictator Marriott? The most votes wins, it is as simple as that. You cannot complain for what the people want goes. You will only have to wait another month before you get to vote again, so you will have to remain patient. "I refuse to be a part of this treaty if Dictat Hansen is in control, not only is he a corrupt leader whom probably payed people to vote for him, he also accuses my country of wanting war when we CLEARLY stated on more than one occasion that war was not an interest of this wonderful state. I therefore repeat once more that i REFUSE to attend such a meeting if such terrible things have been layed forward as guidelines, maybe the economic and social state of his country should be brought into consideration if he wants to cause destruction to a countries ideas!"

And it seems the statement is true as the flawed headlines of the conference may upset more people than the Senator ever has

" Well frankly I believe we should give him a chance if he is doing a poor job, then we should thing about re-electing a new chairsperson"
Also he stats that he shouldn't over estimate the over countries just yet because Ambassador Webster believes that, yes The Disputed Territories of Interlosia maybe the highest developed country at this moment in time but will soon be overtaken by another country. Also hes in disagreement when Dictator Marriot stated that The Borderlands of Bordering Countries is the only one to rival his country " If Dictator Marriot believes that The Borderlands of Bordering Countries is the closest country to him he is more stupid than I first thought."

A surprising comment from Dictator Marriott where he actually seems to support Ambassador Webster even though his blast at Marriott. In other news the First Discussions will begin at 2100 hours. Hopefully this will end the quarrels between the nations in St Lucia and Julio but I wouldn't bet on it.

"First and foremost i would like to apoligse on the incorrect title for a discussion taking place later today. I accused Bordering countries of being a war mongering nation, whereas it most certainly is not, and for that i apologise. The entire discussion will be dropped from the list and only four will be discussed. The meeting time will not change, and nor will the place. Hello I am here to tell pall of the interregional conference of which occured at 0900 hours this evening.
The conference lasted approximately 1 hour and 10 minutes. Many issues were discussed ans unfortunately Senator Firth had to leave early to go to bed.
The main issue that was resolved is that we are all to sign a treaty of alliance with Senator Firth in order to stop arguments. This will be followed with a proposed dinner in the Bordering countries were each one of our representatives will be going. We all have to sign their names on th forum. We did this in hope of harmony and wish that all sign including Firths representative although leaders shall not be present as it is just a celebration.
It was also concluded that next weeks chairspersons are to be Jackson and Patterson, of who wish to create a better atmosphere and propose to get issues delt with.
I thank you all for attending a rather succesful first interregional conference. I also feel that Hansne should be praised for handing the reigns over when they needed to be and for this a respect him and so should we all. Good luck and I hope to join you at the next conference.

In a recent news report Dictator Marriott made a surprise appearance on television in support for The Bordering Countries senator Firth. This is how it went down.

News Man #1: So you think that this dinner will resolve all the problems that have been occuring in St Lucia and Julio?

Reporter #1: Well it seems as though this dinner will help but for things to get back to complete normality it will need years co-operation but maybe this will avert a possible cold war or even a war between the countries.

News Man #2: So is Dictator Marriott set to have any comments on this dinner?

Reporter #1: Well he has not given any indication but... wait a minute, erm hello Dictator Marriott, can we have an interview with you?

Dictator Marriott: Yes, what do you want to know?

Reporter #1: Mr Firth will not like you now due to your government seen as corrupt, do you think this will affect relations between our country and his?

Dictator Marriott: I don't think it will. I support Mr Firth and if anything happened to his nation I would be the first to help him and his country out. I also as one of Firths allies must agree with Dictator Marriot, we need to support him and it must all start with this dinner. However, although Senator Firth represents his nation he must also have another reprsentative to complete a formal speech and negotiations between nations. I am in full support of Firth and Marriott.
Hansen, Webster and Jackson are also powerful nations therefore I also fully support their causes.

My represtentative will be nazarinio michaelini, a fan of pizza and owner of the countries pasta industry and inventor of spaghetti boarlanese, the countries favorite pasta dish. This is a very rough estimate but as Interlosia has published what it believes to be its resources compared to everyone else then it is only right that every other country within this region does the same.

I have uranium mines but interlosia reckons it controls 50% of the market, which seems a bit exaggerated in my opinion, so I'd have to say that my uranium stocks are about: 30% of market.

I'd say as my country is an economical powerhouse it would use the same amounts of coal, oil and gas as Interlosia which was 30% a piece.

Also about 35% of trout farming market, 45% of soda market and 55% of gambling.

The patrician who is supporting Dictator Marriot's idea of abolishing natural resources on the forum, giving his vote to the aforementioned abolishion of future resource talks on the forum. Whether it will crop up in future meetings is yet to be seen though.

Dictator Marriott has released a statement to the St Lucia and Julio Nations:

"Greetings my fellow nations, I talk to you now to give you some frightening news that is happening. My intelligence has found out papers of a possible plot to kill Mr Patterson of Mandir. This seemed somewhat strange as the papers where found in a Fruit shop in My very own country Interlosia. I urge all countries to send some military troops to Mandir to keep this under control. This may well weaken us against attack but against a terrorist organisation we must act now. This will not affect the dinner on Monday in the bordering countries though, this will still go ahead. With more troops in this area this will help us find these terrorists. So I pledge that all our countries send at least 10,000 troops to Mandir. 10,000 of my troops are already on there way to Mandir. To Mr Patterson I must apologise for not asking permission but I could not wait and see whether the terrorists will attack or not. Thank You"

So Mr Marriott is doing exactly what the treaty of rights says which is to defend another country if it is attacked or even possibly attacked. We shall see if other nations will send troops to help Mandir. But tonight there will be several worried faces in Mandir. Will we have a response from Mandir. We wait and see.

Tonight I am worried, worried that Dicatator Marriot is plotting against us all. I therfore call for all troops not to be stationed amongst my nation BUT rather amongst Interlosia. I hereby declare that all nations must now station their best troops outside of Interlosia. I WILL NOT STAND FOR TRICKERY AND HAVE UNFORTUNATELY BEEN CALLED UPON TO TAKE THESE ACTIONS. STAND DOWN NOW MARRIOT. I SPEAK FOR ALL OUR NATIONS WHEN I SAY WE ARE ALL TURNING AGAINST YOUR NOW CORRUPT GOVERNMENT.

I agree with Firth, us two allied nations should stand up against, once again another corrupt dicator.
However you must not intrude upon Marriot as this matter must be resolved after our peace dinner and the second interregional conference.

If Dictator Marriot is purchasing atomic weapons then it is the opinion of this government that we should all also purchase atomic weapons. If we all have nuclear weapons then Marriot will not dare attack our countries because the retalliation would be catastrophic for the entire region. So I urge either for Marriot to destroy his weapons or for all other nations to take up arms against him.

"I must say that yes, I did try to purchase a nuclear weapon, but only as defense, incase I would ever need it in the future like if a country attacked my nation. But My country does not have enough people in it for the weapon to be bought. I will now not try and buy a Nuclear Weapon as I see it has angered my fellow countries in St Lucia and Julio. I see that the respect you had for me may be dented but I must state to you all that It was only going to be used for defense purposes. I will allow Mr Patterson's men into my country to see if I have any nuclear weapons but I can say that I don't. To keep your mind at ease I will allow his men into our country to search for weapons of mass destruction but you will not find any. Now for me plotting against Mandir, this is not what I am planning, I planned to help in the case of a terrorist attack in Mandir. If there is one I will not be to blame. I know troops are on the outskirts of my country but I do not blame you for this as I would probably do the same if someone was alleged to be plotting against my nation or if they had a Nuclear Weapon. My people are worried about the thought of war and they want to stay in good relations with our fellow countries, as do I. Dictator Marriott states that he is inoccent. What will the response be from the other nations, will they stay around Interlosia for long, Interlosia waits for the decision from the other nations.

"I have decided that for now my troops will simply defend the border and not go any further, but i refuse to leave a fellow country in jeapordy by removing them beofre the matter has been full resolved"

Worrying times continue in St.Lucia and Julio

The second interregional conference is fast approaching and it seems there will be lots to discuss. I strongly suggest that one of the topics for discussion should certainly be the supposed terrorist threat that was discovered in Interlosia but I should state my opposition to Mandir sending troops into Interlosia to look for weapons of mass destruction. This would appear to be going against the treaty of rights as no troops should be allowed into another country for any reason because this would then pave the way for further excuses to enter a neighbouring country and total war could quite easily follow. I suggest a consortium of representatives from all of the countries in the region should discuss the terrorist threat and then whether we should send experts into Interlosia to look for nuclear weapons or other weapons of mass destructiuon.

I am sorry to declare that I hereby withdraw my signature from the Treaty of Rights.

The meeting began with a discussion about who had assassinated Mr.Firth's representative at the dinner yesterday. Mr.Firth suspected foul play, saying that the assassin must have been informed of the whereabouts of the dinner by other members of our region. Patrician Jackson suggested that perhaps the assassin was a terrorist, with which Mr Firth replied:" NO! as i have said no terrorist could have known without information from leaders of a country involved."
Further on in the meeting fierce accusations against Mr Firth, saying that perhaps he'd killed his rep, caused him to break down into tears. Soon afterwards Patterson was shot twice, first of all by a mysterious assailant and then by Mr Firth after Mr Patterson had said:" I HID IN THE BUSHES STARK NAKED FOR 3 DAYS STRAIGHT AND THEN SHOT U'RE REP, I WAS DRUNK AT THE TIME AND SHOT WIDE ALSO". Eddy then left the conference leaving Patterson as good as dead. After threatening CPR from Hansen, Patty was soon up and about but his words confused many, when he said: " OH WELL I HAVE NO PART IN THESE CORRUPT OPERATIONS ANYMORE. gOODBYE AND GOOD LUCK."

So after apparently discovering the assassin as being Mr.Patterson who has now left the treaty of rights and any further Interregional meetings, we are no closer to getting peace in our region. What should the punishment be for patty and eddy? we'll have to wait and see.

This I declare as possibly being my last post.

The truth has to be spoken. Firth it was not me who killed your friend it was us all. Although it was Marriots Assasin. We ALL plotted against you and now that I am free of the treaty I must warn you of future actions on your nation. I did play my part in this attrocity however I must say that I regret it not. I hearby declare, that Spandazia, had little part to play in the assassination of the Borderings representative. Whilst we knew about the assassination, we ere sworn by a nameless country to tell nothing of what was about to happen, and Spandazian's are no liars.

"Yes, What Mr Patterson is saying is true, I did send an assassin into you nation Mr Firth and yes by my orders he shot your useless friend. My armed forces are now at a stage of yellow alert which means that they will question and possibly kill any person from other nations that are not from Interlosia. If people get to close to many times I will be forced to sign a policy of, "fire at Will" which means anyone within or near my borders will be shot at. I hope that the final option of war does not occur but this will depend on all the nations in St Lucia and Julio. Finnaly I must blame the downfall of Harbinzia for this, if Harbinzia would have stayed in St Lucia and Julio I believe that tension between nations would be avoided. I must now leave now. I have a brief statement. First of all I was briefly involved in the assassination plot as I knew of the impending assassination of Eddy's rep, however other than that I had no other involvement. This region is going to the dogs and I hereby withdraw by signature on the treaty of rights, I have another nation and I may decide to send one to Andromeda and the other to mr patterson's region, don't bother saying I can't because i am going to anyway and if i want to keep strong links with all the nations of St Lucia and Julio I think I should be allowed to do this, as it's the only viable way to stay friendly with all the nations of our once great region.
