Space Union's has recently developed a new tank that is designed for the current climate in warfare. MBTs have always been getting bigger, more powerful, more costly, and more overweight. But with new Guerilla Warfare style war occuring Space Union has created a tank specifically made for this purpose. It is the AX-1 "Thunder" MBT.

This tank has been made with three things in mind: mobility, stealth, and survivability of crew.
1. This MBT doesn't use a MBT gun like others do. Instead it's round is rocket-propelled that is accelerated by a tiny electric-magnetic field. This allows for a middleway between convential weapons and ETC guns. For this reason all rounds fired by AX-1 are specifically built with rockets.
2. A set of two lasers at the end of the barrel light the propellent which then burns for 5 seconds before turning off. Teh rest of the speed is obtained by the electro-magnetic field.
3. The tank doesn't have normal tracks like other MBTs. Instead it has 4 small tracks positioned in a car-like style. Each of the tracks are albe to turn a full 360 degrees and the tank is able to have four-track drive. This allows the tank to be incredibally mobile compared to other tanks. No other MBT is as mobile as the AX-1.
4. The armor is made light but with strong nano-fibered carbon. Through the use of nano-fibers the tank has a low-weight armor that can protect it thoroughly from rounds from RPGs or other tank rounds.
5. The turret is seperated from the tank by a new layer of composite material that has spring-like characteristics. This means that when the shell is fired and the gun recoils, the material acts like a shock absorber and then springs the gun back to normal position. This advancement allows the tank to move quickly while firing the gun without having to stop. Also since the rounds have rockets in them and don't need to be propelled the gun doesn't recoil as much as convential guns, so now the crew can fire while driving at around 50 mph.
6. The AX-1 crew is fully digitalised with Drive-By-Light configuration that allows the crew's body armor to hook up to the system and makes driving and firing the tank easily. No longer do soldiers have to leave the safety of the armor to fire the machine guns. Instead they can control the guns from within, with the help of 5 rotatable cameras that allows the crew to see in every possible way.
7. The AX-1 systems also have a tracking system that allows lock-on an object and while the tank moves the gun moves to follow the target or targets. The systems can even lock-on multiple targets and fire at one target that automatically lock-on the next without having the crew reconfigure the gun to fire at the next target. Up to 10 objects can be targeted in one sequence. Note: Version AX-1A1 allows up to 20 objects.
8. The AX-1 comes with a new armor kit that the maintaince crew can easily put on for different environments to allow the tank to blend in easily.
9. The AX-1 MBT features the new Shadow fuel-cell engine that produces up to 2,200 hp. The engine comes equiped with teh electroylis system that will allow the engine to seperate the water that is put into the tank before going off on their mission. With the help of this engine, the tank is silent while moving which increases the likely hood of surprising the enemy and giving you the upperhand.
10. The AX-1 is able to travel in water up to 1 mile deep. This allows for the tank to trasverse any natural obstacle the enemy has.
With these implentations the AX-1 is arguably one of the most mobile, stealthy, and survivable tanks in the world. Currently the AX-1 comes in two additions:

Although, Space Union has been around for a while this is the first time we have designed our own tank so please feel-free to tell us where to improve on (specs, price, implentations, etc...). I hope we did moderatly good and we didn't try to overexaggerate any of the features.

1. The AX-1A1 has two guns instead of one. One gun is rocket-propelled while the other is a ETC gun. Both can fire at the same time but you have to wait at least 30 seconds between each firing if both fire at the same time. This is due to the problem of the composition layer being stressed to a farther level than attended. Instead the 30 seconds allow the composition material to regain its position and be ready for th next firing.
2. The AX-1A1 is also able to fire the guns seperatly. With this feature one gun can fire while another gun will fire right after the first shot. The crew can make it possible that one gun fires than the next gun fires and then the next gun fires in a cycle for however long they want to do it without the problem of waiting 30 seconds between firings. Instead they only have to wait 5 seconds.
3. The composition layer between the turret and the main body of the AX-1A1 is now reinforced more strongly to handle the recoil of the gun from firing. This is what makes it possible to fire at the same time.
4. A new engine has been installed called the Blitz21 fuel-cell engine that produces 3,500 hp. It allows the AX-1A1 to run a bit faster than the AX-1 with the new weight.
5. The armenant is also more advanced. The AX-1A1 includes twice of everything and the addition of 2 new technologies: Laser Guns and Microwave Field/Maser Pulsers. The tank fields two Blorthon Laser Guns and a range of 5 Maser Pulsers. The Maser Pulsers create a microwave field around the tank that extends 1000 ft in all directions of the tank and any incoming missles or other electronical things that come in the field have their electronic components fryed. The microwave pulsers emit high-frequency microwaves allowing the microwaves to penetrate almost all armor. With the help of lasers, which are designed to destroy any thing that comes in the microwave field, the AX-1A1 has a high-chance of resisting enemy missles that attack it or anyother electronic device.
6. The AX-1A1 also bolsters two Arazon Laser Guns that can be used on the offensive to attack enemy targets. The frequency and the damage caused by the lasers can be adjusted to suit the environment from urban warfare to all-out-war.
7. The tracking system and computer system is more advanced than the AX-1 original addition. The tracker system is able to track up to 20 targets with one gun and 40 targets with two seperate guns. The Fire-By-Light system has been implented that allows the body suit of the gun loader/firer to hook up with the system to allow streamlined interface that makes it easier to fire and target objects. Also autopilot has been installed that can transverse rivers, hills, small mountains, trails, and other obstacles.
8. The four threads of the tracks are deeper and bigger to allow less bumpy and more smooth ride in the AX-1A1 in mountainous areas.

IMPORTANT: The price of the AX-1A1 is right now a bit over but as production gears up for export the MBT's price will fall.
