His lips pursed into a thin, complacent smile as he inserted the thumb tack into Myanmar, indicating that it was now under the dominion of the Roach-Busterian flag. He bowed his head humbly, and said in a soft voice which emphasized his feelings of reverance toward the one he addressed, "My Lord, Myanmar is now ours."

Generalissimo J.L. twitched his fingers, cackling soundlessly as his eyes gleamed with glee. Excellent, he thought, wearing a broad, beaming, radiant grin that made it evident to the world what had so attracted Thiensiri to him. Now, just one more to go, and we can move on to Central America.

The servant asked, "Generalissimo J.L., forgive my ignorance, but the last country we will add to our domain seems to have slipped my mind."

The Generalissimo nodded. "Your mind is like a recently polished floor littered with banana peels, my friend. No matter, being a humble, benevolent liege, I shall forgive your memory lapse. My final target is East Timor."

"East Timor...invaded by Indonesia in 1975, right?"

Nod.

"Recently gained independence, right?"

J.L. nodded again.

"Pardon my indiscretion, but why East Timor?" the servant asked.

"It is available," J.L. said simply. "No other nation occupies it, so why shan't we?"

The servant hesitated, his frown betraying his uneasiness. "Yes, but..."

"You dare to question my methods!? You would do better to summon Secretary Lindsey at once," J.L. said, in a deep, thunderous tone that clearly indicated his authority.

"Yes, sir."

The strategy was simple: Half of the forces would gather in the Philippines, and head directly south, attacking East Timor head-on; the remainder would depart Thailand via the western half of the peninsula, circle around, and attack the underbelly of East Timor. Together, the two would constitute a 'pincer attack,' leaving the Timorese nowhere to run, and nowhere to hide. The tiny, impoverished country had a population scarcely greater than a million, over 40% illiteracy, an abysmally low GNP, and a military that wouldn't scare a kindergartener. This was going to be disappointingly easy.

The night was still, silent, dreamily peaceful yet eerily vacant. The golden, glittering light of the full moon caressed the placid ocean waves, bathing them in a gentle, dim glow. Cicidas chirped, oblivious to the carnage about to be wrought. Trillions of stars dotted the sky, gleaming hypnotically, like inaccessible diamonds. The silence prevailed only temporarily before it was raped by the incursion of dozens of sleek, nearly indestructible battleships bursting into the harbor full force, launching missiles into the air like fireworks, only, this was no celebration. The celebration would come afterwards. For now, they watched in awe at the spectacle before them, as bombs burst, producing brilliant explosions that illuminated the night.

Aboard the S.S. Stroessner, Admiral Terry Fitten- the father of the Secretary of the Navy and Chief of Staff of the Marines- nodded his head. "Do it," he said.

A series of commands were typed into the computer, operating the missile launchers; soon, over 50 BGM-109 Tomahawk Cruise Missiles were launched at the capital city, Dili.

The impact of the missiles hitting the city generated tremendous, devastating explosions, toppling buildings like dominoes, reducing them to rubble and burying people alive. Scorching flames devoured entire city blocks, as panicked people ran amok, screaming helplessly. Overhead, RB helicopters sprayed down the city with powerful hoses, dousing most of the flames. Meanwhile, RB jets bombed and strafed power plants, factories, and military bases, as ships pulled in and hundreds of thousands of troops raided the mainland, pacifying the streets, tranquilizing anyone who put up any resistance, and disarming local police and soldiers. Within three hours, the capital had been 'liberated,' and the President, realizing resistance was futile, unconditionally surrendered.
