Just outside Jupiter's Orbit sits the Krowemohian Comm Relay Station with it's two Light Cruiser escorts. For a little over ten years it's been sitting there, quietly observing and sending reguar encrypted messages back to Planet Krowemoh.
A heavily encrpyted message arrives at the station.
To: Sol Communications and Observation Outpost One
From: Vector and Gowa Industries Joint "Sol Project" Command
Subject: Revised Orders
Enough intel has been collected. We are authorizing the shipment of a Gate Generator. Expect it's arrival within the month. Construct it on site, then bring it online. More orders will be sent via the Gate once it is operational.
It was closer to two months, but finally the ship carrying the parts for the massive Gate Generator arrives, along with a Deep Space Manafacturing Station. Construction of the Gate Generator begins immediately...
