MADRID

The results of the same-sex marriage referendum were finally tallied. Sevaris has voted 60% to 35% to legalise it, with five percent selecting "No Comment".

Same-sex marriage has long been an issue in Sevaris, since the infamous 2000 Cortes v. Sevaris case to legalise it. Though the court ruled in favour of the state, the issue would not be dropped for years to come.

Parliament is expected to ratify same-sex marriage when it reconvenes tommorrow. The Kaiserine's Office has said she will not veto.

It is very nice of you to give them such a freedom, but is deeply sicking. Becoming attracted to a member of the same-sex is a disease, a mental disorder, and should be treated as such. If this does not only make it more abundent, but also darkens your nations safety.

Congratulations, If they are,how would you say, nessicary.

Excellent news. The more you leave people to their own devices, the more content they will be. And whilst they are happy to do whatever they want, you can work on increasing the overall efficiency of your command structure, and focus your civil protection units on more important 'crimes'. Frankly, I see no reason why such issues should be any concern to the commander of a nation anyway.
